Oh, my goodness. Now for today's topic, I was asked how to handle showing up being your true self and sharing what you value and what you feel is important, but not seeing the results you desire yet. So good. I thought this was so good. When I got asked this question, I was like, oh, I cannot wait to just like spew some words out on the. So here's the thing, when it comes to this, it is continuing to do all of these things, but it's also selling. Okay. And we're gonna dive into this on a deeper level here. So with visits, yes, sharing the personal and the lifestyle stuff is so important. Your values, what you believe in your truth, authenticity behind the scenes, kids lie. TV. We want to see it. We want to see it when we need to, because honestly, let's be real. We are nosy a F I wouldn't want to come to down to it. That's why we love reality TV. We're so nosy. We want to know what you're doing behind the scenes. That's the stuff we like really love watching. If you really think about the things that you enjoy watching most of the time, it's the lifestyle content. Give it to us. I also want to know what you believe in. I want to know your thoughts on things. I want to know your. I wonder your values because I connect with you. Those are connection pieces. And when you share things about your life, that's in common with my life. We bond, we connect, but also sell, sell all the time. Even while you're doing this stuff. Even when most of the things you're sharing might be more life. It's really trying to create more of a balance of life. And. Because they go hand in hand. And I think so often we can sometimes like lose our way where it's like, oh, I'm going to share all life. Cause I want like views to go up and I want to break up the day-to-day of my content. Yeah. I get that. But also still share business and it doesn't always need to be linked, but you can do both cohesively so that you are sharing the things you want to share your values, your insights, it's being authentic. It's real, you're sharing what you want to share, but it's also being mindful of. And creating content that your ideal clients want and need, because when you create content for me as your ideal client, I'm going to stay. I'm like, I can't stop learning from you now. I want to pay you. But I do think sometimes we forget the basics of business. And I've been here too, where I've like gotten like so into lifestyle stuff. And like I sell all of the times, but sometimes we forget the basics of business with it when it comes to creating content and giving value and educational pieces of content and they never go out of style. This is stuff that like in sales 1 0 1 making more money value, literally value value sells value. Also positions you as an authority who knows her. So this isn't going to go out of style anytime soon, if you look at any business value, so share the value-based content, share the content that solves the problem for your dream clients. Share the testimonials, share the behind the scenes of business the day to day of business stuff, share the business stuff, share your milestones. Here's a key here. I want to emphasize. Share your milestones, even when you aren't exactly where you want to be yet, share them, share them. Because if you don't celebrate, who's going to celebrate you, share them because here's the thing where you are right now might not be where you quote, unquote, feel you should be or where you desire to be. But your dream client is like, holy shit. I wish I was there. I wish so. Share it, share it. And do this while also sharing the things you want to share your viewpoints, your lifestyle stuff, authenticity stuff, real miss, but don't forget the business stuff, the stuff that actually brings in money and to piggyback off of that own what you do. This is one of my favorite things to talk about. This might even be another podcast episode here in the future. Own what you do. So many of us shrink ourselves. We make ourselves small. We compare, I want to share with you guys something that I recently did that has changed my life. Literally has changed my life. Okay. I love Instagram. I love to talk. I love Facebook. I wouldn't run my business on social media platforms if I didn't love them. Right. But it's really easy. Especially as my schedule is becoming more open, I have more time on my hands and I'm so grateful. I've been intentionally doing this. We're making more money. We're scaling rapidly and we have more freedom. That's what it's about. Right. But there's a part of me. That's like, Ooh, what do I do with all my new found time? I need some hobbies. And what I started doing to fill the void to fill the time was I was scrolling. Which was really affecting my mindset was really affecting my mood, um, was affecting like even my, I was a clouding my own judgment about myself and my offers and what I want to create next. It just felt noisy. It felt noisy in my mind, it felt noisy. And just like, I felt cluttered mentally. If that makes any sense at all, you guys are probably resonating. Like you're in this space. I feel like you get it. So, what I did recently was I muted every single person that does something similar to what I do in the business, coaching realm. I'm muted them. I didn't meet my mentor and I don't meet my clients. I love my clients. If you've invested in me in some way, shape or form, know that I'm watching your stories. I watch my clients every day. I'm obsessed with them. But I've muted everybody else. And it's nothing against anyone else. But like, for me, it just cleared out my Instagram. And you guys remember Instagram when it wasn't like for business, I used to love Instagram and like looking at nail Polish and like this elaborate. My friends from high school, you know what I mean? Like I loved it for that. And I really am just being intentional about how I use the app. And of course I build relationships. I talked to so many of you every single day, but I'm really just intentional with my time. And if I find myself scrolling, I've checked myself and I'm sharing this with you because literally I'm like three weeks after doing this, as I'm speaking to you. I feel like a new person, a new flip in person. I am happier. I am more creative. I'm creating more for my clients. I have new frameworks for my offers. I have this whole new idea of an offer. That's going to change the industry. It's going to change the coaching. And make coaches better. It's going to help them make more money, more client retention, like what has come through and over the last three weeks, because I've protected my time and what I'm consuming has been life-changing. So I highly recommend this and I shared that little bit with you because what I'm about to tell you and teach you is with all of this, with the sharing of your life and business and combining it, I want you to also own what you do. I want you to own the fuck out. Even if you aren't where you want to be in business monetarily, that doesn't mean you can't tell me how good you are at what you do. That doesn't mean that you can't tell me that you are the expert. I think so often we wait to reach a certain number of money to be an expert. I think we wait for external validation to be quote unquote good at. Or when I hit here, I can then scream to the masses that I am this expert, but here's the thing. That's not what makes you an expert. Money's amazing. Money's just a right by-product of our work. And I need you to know that like, money is a by-product of your work, but that doesn't make you an expert. Your knowledge, your certifications, your frameworks, your curriculum, your coaching skills. Your client's results, your results. That's what makes you an expert at what you do. And so share it and own the fuck out of it. I want you to literally tell me. That you are the marketing expert, that you are the coach that teaches coaches how to create ultimate freedom in your life. This is your framework, and you're a fucking expert at it. Lot of F bombs coming out right now. That's when you know, I'm Shuber bashing it. Hopefully there's no kids around. And if there are, I'm sorry, but I want you to share it all. And so with this, with this powerful question that we are riffing on today, Share it all your beliefs, your values, what you feel is important, share where you have to say, but also sell and keep your dream client in mind and create valuable content and educational content and sales content, and testimonials. And then taking that one step further and owning it. Oh, needing it. And this, this, all of this is what will really have you getting to a place of sharing what you value sharing. What's important, being your true self, but also making money, making the money you desire when you combine all three of these collectively over and over and over again. And you guys know this. I don't need to say this, but I'm going to the consistency of it. It's going to take you so far. This was so good. And this is something that the owning you part of today that I teach on and dropped a private training inside of my program. I'm in recently. So good. Like this is something I always get asked to guest teach on inside of other people's programs, owning you in the online space, owning yourself, owning the fuck out of your offers, becoming a massive authority, a massive.
