Speaker:

Everybody's got an opinion.

Speaker:

Every Californian, Virginian in Virginia, it's so hard to tell

Speaker:

who to cho and who to ignore.

Speaker:

Someone's gotta settle The Score.

Speaker:

Trey and Chelsey will help you choose who's win, which.

Speaker:

Hello.

Speaker:

Well, hello and welcome to Review That.

Speaker:

Review the steamy podcast that is dedicated to reviewing

Speaker:

reviews Chelsey.

Speaker:

Dawn doesn't know why we're doing this, but that is Chelsey Donn,

Speaker:

and that is Trey Gerrald.

Speaker:

But together.

Speaker:

Just call us the Review Queen

Speaker:

you watching on YouTube or listening on your podcast app.

Speaker:

Know why I am using this tone of voice.

Speaker:

Chelsey still in the dark, but here at Review That Review, we believe in

Speaker:

balance, the good, the bad, and the covet.

Speaker:

So it's only fair that we take a quick little moment to fetch it out.

Speaker:

Chelsey, is there anything that you would like to

Speaker:

Lodge A Complaint

Speaker:

about today?

Speaker:

Ah, don't you know it?

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

I mean, let's go with a real time complaint, because why not?

Speaker:

I hate last minute cancellations, last minute change of plans.

Speaker:

I just, it really bothers me.

Speaker:

I have an intention when I set up my schedule, especially like if I'm

Speaker:

setting it up a week in advance, two weeks in advance, and I'm

Speaker:

anticipating this one thing happening.

Speaker:

And then all of a sudden the 11th hour gets canceled.

Speaker:

That sucks.

Speaker:

It's so disappointing.

Speaker:

Mm-hmm.

Speaker:

It ruins the whole mojo.

Speaker:

It ruins the flow.

Speaker:

I gotta recalibrate, I gotta start over again.

Speaker:

It's jarring to me.

Speaker:

I get it.

Speaker:

Like sometimes people are like, I love when people last when it cancel on plans.

Speaker:

I'm in my thirties, I just wanna stay home in my bed and snuggle.

Speaker:

I kind of get that too sometimes.

Speaker:

I like do want the friend to cancel last minute.

Speaker:

But most of the time I make plans with intention.

Speaker:

And so if I've intentionally made that plan, if I've intentionally revved up

Speaker:

the energy to accommodate that event or that happening, I expect it to happen.

Speaker:

And when it gets canceled last minute, it really just throws me.

Speaker:

Can you relate?

Speaker:

Oh my.

Speaker:

Look, plans are plans for a reason.

Speaker:

Yes, there are moments when you're like so thrilled that there's a change of

Speaker:

plans, but no, a last minute cancellation.

Speaker:

If you're supposed to come and clean my house at four and

Speaker:

at one 30, you cancel on me.

Speaker:

Which Chelsey is experiencing.

Speaker:

That's right.

Speaker:

That is inappropriate.

Speaker:

I hate that that goes in the ledger.

Speaker:

All right, well,

Speaker:

should we hear other people complain about things?

Speaker:

Should we let someone else get something off their chest perhaps.

Speaker:

They're large chest, small chest.

Speaker:

I don't know.

Speaker:

I feel like this is gonna be involving something sensual.

Speaker:

Hmm.

Speaker:

I wonder why you're picking up on that.

Speaker:

Yeah, let's do it.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Before we do, Hey.

Speaker:

Hi.

Speaker:

Hi.

Speaker:

You're watching this on YouTube.

Speaker:

We're on Spotify.

Speaker:

Leave us a comment.

Speaker:

Would ya?

Speaker:

Would ya?

Speaker:

Please.

Speaker:

We love hearing from you.

Speaker:

Comment away, review away.

Speaker:

Leave us a five star review.

Speaker:

While you're at it, do all the things you could possibly do to

Speaker:

help keep the show in the air.

Speaker:

We appreciate you.

Speaker:

We do.

Speaker:

Speaking of, why don't we

Speaker:

Review That?

Speaker:

Review.

Speaker:

As you know, you're your trustee.

Speaker:

Review Queens.

Speaker:

We bring in internet reviews that we feel need to be inspected.

Speaker:

We read you a review.

Speaker:

We break it down.

Speaker:

We rate the impact of that review on a scale from zero to five crowns.

Speaker:

It's a very regal process, but we call

Speaker:

Assess That Kvetch.

Speaker:

That's right, and Trey.

Speaker:

It is your turn and you've been hinting at some things with me, so I'm very curious

Speaker:

to know what are we reviewing today?

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

Today we're gonna do something completely brand new.

Speaker:

Oh my goodness.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

It's a new topic and oh, I'm gonna present the review in a way we've

Speaker:

never done it before, so, okay.

Speaker:

Today, Chelsey, you and I. Oh, okay.

Speaker:

Also, disclaimer, our incredible editor, doc Sheena, is gonna be helping us today

Speaker:

because we are gonna work really hard.

Speaker:

Uh, to navigate through the YouTube sensors.

Speaker:

Okay, so we are gonna be rating and reviewing.

Speaker:

This is a one star Good reads review written by someone named Claudia

Speaker:

C or does that say Claudia Claud

Speaker:

Claud Dick.

Speaker:

Actually, you know what, it's claudie and they have a little crescent moon emoji.

Speaker:

Ah, so it's Claudie.

Speaker:

Sorry, Claudie Claudie.

Speaker:

But it looks like it could be Claudia or CLA C, but it's Claudie.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Claudia's, one star.

Speaker:

Good reads of you four.

Speaker:

This is where we're doing some censorship, so, okay.

Speaker:

This is listed as the genre on Good Reads.

Speaker:

MM Romance.

Speaker:

This is a phrase you cannot say on YouTube, but it's four letters

Speaker:

that represent a genre of, um.

Speaker:

Um, how do I say this?

Speaker:

The first letter is B, the last letter is M. There's also like a, a letter

Speaker:

D in there, and there's also s and there's also an S somewhere in there.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

And then this is a phrase you cannot say on YouTube, um, but it's not

Speaker:

exotic, but it's similar to exotic.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Um, contemporary romance.

Speaker:

Gay for you?

Speaker:

Novella.

Speaker:

Those are the genres.

Speaker:

Those,

Speaker:

mm Like male.

Speaker:

Male.

Speaker:

Male.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

This is a male.

Speaker:

Male romance.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Novel.

Speaker:

Got

Speaker:

it.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

This is, um, actually a series, so it's the up ending TAD Romance series

Speaker:

ending tad.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Volume one.

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

Is a journey of erotic discovery.

Speaker:

And the title of this book is Loser Takes All The novelist's name is Cora Knight.

Speaker:

Okay, so this is CLA one star.

Speaker:

Good Reads, review for Loser Takes All.

Speaker:

I just want you all to know that at the time of recording, loser

Speaker:

Takes All, which is part one in the series, has a 4.05 overall out of.

Speaker:

3,387 ratings, and I just want to give you this brief description

Speaker:

before we read the review.

Speaker:

So, okay.

Speaker:

This is on Good Reads.

Speaker:

Tad's Weekend started out like any other, hitting a college frat

Speaker:

party with a handful of buddies, but just as the evening hits its

Speaker:

peak, things get upended fast.

Speaker:

Pitched by his drunken trolling friends, tad.

Speaker:

Winds up getting hustled by three jocks playing poker.

Speaker:

Now he's forced to pay his dues in the most outlandish of ways, accepting a

Speaker:

couple broken bones, or spending an hour with his victor's favorite flogger.

Speaker:

Scott, but the tantalizing torture quickly proves to be the least of Tad's

Speaker:

worries da da dot, and the kickoff of a night of raw shocking lust experience.

Speaker:

The graphic minute by minute account of that hour spent at the hands of Tad's.

Speaker:

Insatiable Tormentor addicting chemistry lights the stage as Scott

Speaker:

Ignites Tad's reluctant desires into a frenzy, a forbidden need.

Speaker:

Scott and Tad, those are quite the names.

Speaker:

Scott and Tad.

Speaker:

The author's name is Cora Knight.

Speaker:

Yeah, that seems very lusty.

Speaker:

So also, I don't think I've heard the name Tad since like

Speaker:

win a date with Tad Hamilton.

Speaker:

Oh yeah.

Speaker:

Remember that one?

Speaker:

Mm-hmm.

Speaker:

Topher Grace.

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

Also a weird name.

Speaker:

Topher.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Topher.

Speaker:

Also, keep in mind this is a 63 page novella.

Speaker:

Okay?

Speaker:

Um, I believe it's only available on Kindle, so background, okay.

Speaker:

Not saying that that means anything.

Speaker:

So Chelsey, I'm gonna point to you when it's your time to hit the slide.

Speaker:

Okay?

Speaker:

And then I'm gonna read what's on the slide, which I don't know what it is.

Speaker:

This is a cold read.

Speaker:

I've sent Chelsey, A PDF.

Speaker:

This will make sense as we read through.

Speaker:

So I'm gonna give you the little clue to hit.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

You're gonna read what's on the slide.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

And then you're gonna zip it.

Speaker:

I'm gonna keep, keep reading.

Speaker:

I've just extracted moments from Claudia's review that Chelsey gonna read.

Speaker:

Got it.

Speaker:

And then I'll continue reading.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Is there a style you'd like me to read it in?

Speaker:

No nos, I think.

Speaker:

I think you're gonna understand.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

You know what kind of novel this is?

Speaker:

Yep.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

This was written November of 2022.

Speaker:

One star, the longest 60 pages I have ever read.

Speaker:

Uh, emoji of a face, like, ah, it was basically one long, drawn out sex scene,

Speaker:

which wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing if it hadn't been so horribly written.

Speaker:

Boring and repetitive, the exact opposite of what I wanted,

Speaker:

which was quick and dirty.

Speaker:

Sexy smut.

Speaker:

I started highlighting after the first 15 or so.

Speaker:

Because this was just ridiculous.

Speaker:

A handful of pants was Tad's only reply.

Speaker:

Every time I read the sentence, I see someone literally

Speaker:

holding out a handful of pants.

Speaker:

His nuts were howling to get free.

Speaker:

You mean Scott didn't gag them?

Speaker:

Hashtag free Tads nads.

Speaker:

Free just Tad was irrevocably floored.

Speaker:

Few things in his life had felt this good.

Speaker:

Honestly, he could barely think of one most likely, something pertaining to his.

Speaker:

Yep, that would be my guess as well.

Speaker:

He plunged his tongue deep.

Speaker:

It darted inside Tad's recesses

Speaker:

skull.

Speaker:

Skull emoji.

Speaker:

The sound of a zipper descending tantalized, Tad's ears.

Speaker:

Scott just found the infamous.

Speaker:

Prostate

Speaker:

sounds like a game achievement.

Speaker:

Unleashing a fiery, it's,

Speaker:

it's super effective.

Speaker:

Oh.

Speaker:

Wait,

Speaker:

he didn't have a problem with gaze or the activities they engaged in.

Speaker:

How one said gay standing right behind him

Speaker:

was presently blowing his

Speaker:

mind.

Speaker:

You don't say

Speaker:

what?

Speaker:

Making his engorged roar with need.

Speaker:

More gags needed.

Speaker:

Your pink little snatch is just so damn accommodating

Speaker:

skull emoji.

Speaker:

Make your wink at my

Speaker:

skull emoji.

Speaker:

Aw Tad, you should see your shy little anus begging for

Speaker:

my fuck Tad Cringed mortified.

Speaker:

Believe me, tad, you're not the only one emoji of a girl holding her head.

Speaker:

The guy was clearly into Tad.

Speaker:

Not just his wonton.

Speaker:

I think it's

Speaker:

wanton.

Speaker:

I think it's pronounced

Speaker:

wanton.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Okay, okay.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Not just his

Speaker:

wanton.

Speaker:

Maybe he just wanted some Chinese tad.

Speaker:

Alright, we're all the same bitch

Speaker:

making his all, but how

Speaker:

his genitals are particularly vocal, aren't they?

Speaker:

Ditching the idea to liberate his eyes.

Speaker:

Hashtag free Tads dash

Speaker:

Richter.

Speaker:

Five earthquakes, upended.

Speaker:

Did they move to the kitchen?

Speaker:

I had a good laugh or two, I won't lie.

Speaker:

But other than that, this was, oh my god.

Speaker:

Awful.

Speaker:

It was Ws, Ws.

Speaker:

And you were that.

Speaker:

You got the joke.

Speaker:

I got the joke aquatic.

Speaker:

Is that how you spell

Speaker:

wanton And, uh.

Speaker:

Or did he misspell it?

Speaker:

Well, let's get into that because are, are they the

Speaker:

same spelling?

Speaker:

I don't know.

Speaker:

Do you

Speaker:

think that, do you think that,

Speaker:

oh my God, that was funny.

Speaker:

Try,

Speaker:

I don't know what key words we can say, but is, is this the kind of literature you

Speaker:

go to for correct spelling and grammar?

Speaker:

I don't know this.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

I went back and forth about if, if this could even be attempted to be

Speaker:

discussed on, on YouTube with all of the like, you know, whatevers, um, but.

Speaker:

Oh my gosh.

Speaker:

There's nothing more delicious to me than these romance novels

Speaker:

'cause they're just so absurd.

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

What's there for you?

Speaker:

I know, I know it was hard for you 'cause you were being active and and engaging.

Speaker:

So like I can send you the review as well if you wanna like read it.

Speaker:

I thought it was, it was really funny in a way that it was like,

Speaker:

let's just let the evidence

Speaker:

speak for itself,

Speaker:

speak for itself.

Speaker:

You know,

Speaker:

so funny.

Speaker:

I

Speaker:

could give you a review or I could just let you read some

Speaker:

excerpts, some highlights, some highlights of what I experienced.

Speaker:

Save you 60 pages and find your smut.

Speaker:

Elsewhere,

Speaker:

so, okay.

Speaker:

But that's a big, um, discrepancy I find here because the reason I wanted to read

Speaker:

the actual description on Good, on Good Reads is because they say that it's a,

Speaker:

an a graphic minute by minute account, and then Claudie starts by saying it,

Speaker:

it's one long drawn out sex scene.

Speaker:

Well, that's what they describe it as, minute by minute graphic.

Speaker:

But then they do circle back by saying, but.

Speaker:

Like I wanted to be quick and dirty.

Speaker:

As long as it was like good and not horribly written.

Speaker:

This was horribly written.

Speaker:

Sure,

Speaker:

right.

Speaker:

I mean, we were looking for what we were looking for, but it was

Speaker:

just, it was not well written.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

So I just wanna point out, just both to clear my own name, make the joke

Speaker:

land harder, and also just clarify for our listeners and viewers.

Speaker:

Wanton as in extravagant, lustful, outrageous is spelled.

Speaker:

W-A-N-T-O-N,

Speaker:

and this is spelled W-O-N-T-O-N.

Speaker:

So this is wonton

Speaker:

Fair.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Good job.

Speaker:

Well, okay.

Speaker:

But I cannot distinguish if that is Cora Knight's misspelling, or if

Speaker:

that's Claudia's misspelling word.

Speaker:

Did Cora

Speaker:

Knight mean wonton?

Speaker:

So there are a couple of highlights in here that are so out of

Speaker:

context that I don't understand.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Like I don't understand the whole thing about gags unless that has

Speaker:

something to do with the culture of

Speaker:

Definitely.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

And then also the free tabs Nads, like, that's just funny, I think.

Speaker:

I think the point of the gags is that.

Speaker:

This is not just any romance novel.

Speaker:

This romance novel is specifically in the category that we can't say.

Speaker:

So be like, because that's what, like, don't just give me like, he's a howling.

Speaker:

Give me jack, give me whips.

Speaker:

Give me chains.

Speaker:

50 shades.

Speaker:

Gimme 50 shades.

Speaker:

Give me a room, give me a swing, give me a. Something.

Speaker:

Well, that I do think Claudia is good at because they, one of their points

Speaker:

at the top is that it's repetitive.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

And I love that in this like 13 captions.

Speaker:

It's like early on we talk about the Howling.

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

And then later there's another one of the Howl, the Howling, the howl.

Speaker:

So it is funny 'cause I'm like, right, we've already used this.

Speaker:

We've already used this description.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

It's definitely like when you look at it on the paper, I

Speaker:

appreciate it even more because.

Speaker:

It's like the highlights from the text are bolded and they're italicized.

Speaker:

So it's really clear when you're reading the review, like what is

Speaker:

Claudia's voice and what is the book?

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Which is just like pleasing to the I and they even like.dot dotted

Speaker:

before each one of the Yeah.

Speaker:

Quotes to make it clear like, okay, this is a partial quote, this is a full quote.

Speaker:

So I think that Claud.

Speaker:

Just like maybe in the spelling and grammar section really like went out of

Speaker:

their way to format this well and to kind of let us know like they're a good writer

Speaker:

maybe.

Speaker:

Well, that's why you and I love on the show Good Reads reviews, right?

Speaker:

Because it is a community where they get very creative.

Speaker:

It's one of the only review platforms where you can do bold italics, you

Speaker:

can do gifs, you can include images, like you can really write, um.

Speaker:

Which is why I love Good Reads.

Speaker:

I, I find this to be truthful because they're literally copy pasting quotes.

Speaker:

So I, right.

Speaker:

I believe Claudie, is it shady to like present the evidence?

Speaker:

I don't.

Speaker:

Is it sha I don't, I don't know.

Speaker:

Because romance novels are so cheesy.

Speaker:

It's like a lifetime movie.

Speaker:

It's like a very specific genre where like, this is also

Speaker:

where I'm confused because.

Speaker:

You have to be creative.

Speaker:

Right?

Speaker:

So upending of tad, like we know what that means, but then you could

Speaker:

also in the same breath say Make your wink at my you pink little snatch.

Speaker:

Right?

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

You can say, but Right.

Speaker:

I don't know.

Speaker:

It's such a conundrum.

Speaker:

This is such a funny topic to me.

Speaker:

This, yeah.

Speaker:

I mean, it is so interesting, this entire genre.

Speaker:

I mean, Trey and I, um, years ago mm-hmm.

Speaker:

We went to a podcast convention and we met someone that told

Speaker:

us that we won't put on blast.

Speaker:

That they are a romance novel writer.

Speaker:

They have a pen name and they write these novels in their free time.

Speaker:

So really like this could, this writer could be anyone.

Speaker:

Which is like, what's so interesting about it having so many reviews and

Speaker:

obviously so many sales, is there's like the romance novel sector has

Speaker:

been really democratized seems.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

And like you, like

Speaker:

anybody on the street could write a great romance novel.

Speaker:

You don't have to be a recognizable name necessarily to be somebody that

Speaker:

could be successful in this world.

Speaker:

And I feel like it's a niche world.

Speaker:

So my impression is that Claudie probably reads a lot.

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

Of of books in this genre.

Speaker:

And so I feel they're somewhat of an authority, so I don't

Speaker:

think that they're being shady.

Speaker:

I sort of trust them innately.

Speaker:

I do too, honestly,

Speaker:

I don't know why, but I just, it feels like they're well studied and they're just

Speaker:

like, oh my God, I'm dead at this line.

Speaker:

Like, I can't even believe they're saying this.

Speaker:

Like, yep, that's what they said.

Speaker:

And I feel like they know don't.

Speaker:

Don't think that this is normal or what you should be

Speaker:

expecting for this kind of novel.

Speaker:

'cause it's, it's not hitting the mark.

Speaker:

Well see that's what's interesting and that's what's tough when we do good reads

Speaker:

or we do, it's why we don't do movies.

Speaker:

It's like, it's art, so it's subjective.

Speaker:

Like it's hard to say if it's good or bad, but I, typical fluke, I don't know because

Speaker:

maybe like upending is really like.

Speaker:

Evocative for certain people.

Speaker:

And then for people like Claudia and perhaps me, it's ridiculous.

Speaker:

Um, so I find value in the review that they just literally copy paste.

Speaker:

'cause it's like, here's a highlight and it's also not, um, spoiling.

Speaker:

It's not, it's not keeping someone from needing to buy the book.

Speaker:

You know what I mean?

Speaker:

Like, they're not, what's the, what am I trying to say?

Speaker:

It's like.

Speaker:

They're not giving away so much that, that it's like, okay, if you,

Speaker:

you really now after reading these previews, still wanna read 60 pages

Speaker:

of this, by all means, go for it.

Speaker:

They're, it's like they're giving you the same amount that you would

Speaker:

get if you were looking at a book and it was like, look inside.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

They're not giving you any more than that.

Speaker:

Correct.

Speaker:

So I don't think they're crossing a line in terms of disrespecting a copyright.

Speaker:

Correct.

Speaker:

There you go.

Speaker:

That's what I.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Well, I mean I think it was really funny.

Speaker:

I liked the use of emojis was like really like just like dead, like af, you know?

Speaker:

Like, I don't know.

Speaker:

That was really funny to me.

Speaker:

And the style was really interesting and ultimate impact.

Speaker:

I think.

Speaker:

I agree with what you were getting at just before, which is

Speaker:

that choose your own adventure.

Speaker:

You wanna go down this road, go for it.

Speaker:

This is your cup of tea when you're reading this one star review, being like,

Speaker:

oh, I actually love when my men howl.

Speaker:

If it's not, then I really feel like you're getting a fair

Speaker:

assessment of what's to come.

Speaker:

So I think that's high and.

Speaker:

I think I could maybe crown,

Speaker:

I think Yeah, let's crown, let's, let's crown Claudie.

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

So Chelsey and I each have our own set of zero to five crown cards.

Speaker:

In an effort to be fair and not influence one another, we will

Speaker:

simultaneously reveal our rating.

Speaker:

The Queens are Tabulating,

Speaker:

total school.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Trey's holding up four and a half crowns.

Speaker:

I'm holding up five crowns.

Speaker:

I went all the way.

Speaker:

I almost did four and a half.

Speaker:

But I just thought, you know what, Eva?

Speaker:

If I'm just giving five crowns, 'cause I loved this new take on a

Speaker:

way to read a review with you, Trey and I had so much fun doing it.

Speaker:

And the wand to Swanton Pass really just threw me over the edge with this one.

Speaker:

I thought this was really good.

Speaker:

I think it's a difficult balance like we were discussing to give a

Speaker:

preview without giving anything away.

Speaker:

And also we so often talk in good read review, like, okay,

Speaker:

well at the end of the day.

Speaker:

It's an opinion, right?

Speaker:

And so I think that this was a really great way of writing a

Speaker:

review to be like, it is an opinion.

Speaker:

You're right.

Speaker:

Here's my opinion.

Speaker:

I think that this line is effing hilarious and not sexy.

Speaker:

If you disagree, feel free to disagree.

Speaker:

And for that space, which is really unusual, I think in a Good reads review.

Speaker:

I thought this was a Review Queen for Good reads.

Speaker:

Um, so I went with five crowns, but you won four and a let us know why.

Speaker:

I concur.

Speaker:

I just felt a little bit like when you actually look visually at the

Speaker:

review, there is so much, uh, space dedicated to like the pull quotes.

Speaker:

And, and I want a little more context.

Speaker:

I don't need more context because I think Claudia is succinct and clear

Speaker:

at the beginning, but I, I would love a little more real estate about.

Speaker:

What would make it less, quote unquote, horribly written, boring and repetitive?

Speaker:

Um, I, I, you know.

Speaker:

I want to read more reviews from Claudie.

Speaker:

I also kind really do trust them and I, I would like to see which other sort of

Speaker:

romance novels they find to be better.

Speaker:

Mm. Um, yeah, 'cause I was really tickled and I think that the,

Speaker:

a lot of the comedy here, like.

Speaker:

Skull face, um, like is in, in Claudia Succinctness.

Speaker:

Mm-hmm.

Speaker:

But it's not exactly five crowns for me.

Speaker:

I, I'm leaving a little bit of wiggle room.

Speaker:

Um, it does have 16 likes and they did hashtag um, kill it with

Speaker:

fire, which I think is funny.

Speaker:

Um.

Speaker:

There we go.

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

It's funny, I wonder how, um, this final product is gonna turn out here

Speaker:

on, on the YouTubes, but um, if you have any experience reading romance

Speaker:

novels and you have any recommendations, leave them in the comments.

Speaker:

'cause Chelsey and I are gonna get into the genre.

Speaker:

Yeah, I love it.

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

This was so fun.

Speaker:

Alright, queen.

Speaker:

Well, we have aired our grievances.

Speaker:

We've inspected this hilarious review.

Speaker:

So now let's shine a little light on something that's

Speaker:

truly deserving of a crown.

Speaker:

We have reached the most regal portion of our show.

Speaker:

Chelsey, who are you inducting today for?

Speaker:

My Royal Highness.

Speaker:

Um, okay, so My Royal Highness.

Speaker:

I just wanna kind of go like the opposite of what I did in my complaint.

Speaker:

And I wanna say when people pleasantly surprise you, or when

Speaker:

situations end up working out better than you had anticipated.

Speaker:

Mm. So for example, Trey kind of hinted at the fact that in the beginning

Speaker:

of this episode, I had somebody that was gonna come clean my house.

Speaker:

I was really looking forward to this, and they canceled last minute.

Speaker:

By the end of this episode, I actually have somebody else

Speaker:

coming to clean my house.

Speaker:

Who is an even better match and is a direct referral from a friend.

Speaker:

So in life, I think sometimes when they say, when one door closes,

Speaker:

you open a window, another door opens, whatever that expression is.

Speaker:

And I think sometimes it's for the betterment of us.

Speaker:

And obviously this is like a microcosm example of that, but

Speaker:

I do think it applies globally.

Speaker:

So My Royal Highness is that feeling of, oh no, it didn't work

Speaker:

out only to be replaced with.

Speaker:

Oh, but this other thing worked out even better.

Speaker:

Exceeding expectations.

Speaker:

Nothing is better.

Speaker:

I agree.

Speaker:

Yes, agree.

Speaker:

I'm glad that in the span of this episode, all that drama has worked out.

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

Well, we did it, queen, the Good, the Bad tci, the Pink Anus.

Speaker:

That was another round on the R ru and RQ Ferris Wheel of Romance.

Speaker:

I love that.

Speaker:

Thank you for joining us today, Queens.

Speaker:

on this week's after show, Trey, we are rating and reviewing.

Speaker:

We're going back to good old Amazon, a five star review for Tron Jori,

Speaker:

women high waist casual, wide leg long palazzo pants trousers.

Speaker:

Regular size in black, actually, sorry, in beige.

Speaker:

I wanted them in black.

Speaker:

And it makes sense because both Trey and I are wearing beige day and I

Speaker:

don't know how I feel about this.

Speaker:

I feel a little naked.

Speaker:

It's crazy, but um, it is crazy.

Speaker:

Well, I wonder why

Speaker:

this was said.

Speaker:

I could see that.

Speaker:

You idiot.

Speaker:

You said the entire 12 person cast, and then you just remembered and you

Speaker:

said, I could see that you clearly couldn't see it the entire time.

Speaker:

I do wonder.

Speaker:

Well, in the meantime, please remember,

Speaker:

ignore the haters.

Speaker:

You're a queen.

Speaker:

Gender nonspecific queen.

Speaker:

That's right.

Speaker:

How we're gonna get through the YouTube rigamarole.

Speaker:

Oh, we're gonna get through the rigamarole, baby.

Speaker:

I, I think it's gonna be more entertaining.

Speaker:

We're not

Speaker:

the first people to get through the rigmarole.

Speaker:

Do, but like book talk and like book YouTube.

Speaker:

Do they not do romance novels?

Speaker:

Like there has to be a whole show out there.

Speaker:

I think that the way we can

Speaker:

get around this is, uh, charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent.

Speaker:

Let's serve it.

Speaker:

Hunt.

Speaker:

That's right.

All right, Queens, we love you so much.
