Speaker A

Welcome to Love Notes from Rhonda.

Speaker A

And today I want you to think about your favorite word or your favorite words, because today I want you to start anchoring the words that really resonate with you, that maybe express you, that maybe help center you, keep you grounded, maybe give you motivation and maybe create joy in your heart.

Speaker A

So what are some of your very favorite words?

Speaker A

I'm going to share mine.

Speaker A

One of my very favorite words is innocence.

Speaker A

For far too long, I blamed myself.

Speaker A

I condemned myself, I shamed myself, I blamed myself.

Speaker A

And when I started to embrace the concept of the word innocence, that I was innocent, that you are innocent.

Speaker A

That we are innocent doesn't mean we don't make mistakes.

Speaker A

But that at our heart, we didn't do it because we're evil or any of that, you know, we're not evil.

Speaker A

We're innocent.

Speaker A

And that word, when I say the word innocent, it just.

Speaker A

My eyes light up, my heart opens.

Speaker A

I just feel this softness come over me, and I feel centered.

Speaker A

Another word that I love is sisu.

Speaker A

That's spelled S I, S U.

Speaker A

And it is a word that Finnish folk use.

Speaker A

It's a Finnish word, and Finnish, from the land of Finland.

Speaker A

It is a word that we use to describe ourselves.

Speaker A

We have sisu.

Speaker A

And if you ever meet a Finnish person and you say, do you have sisu?

Speaker A

They'll be like, well, of course I have sisu.

Speaker A

Every Finn has sisu.

Speaker A

And sisu is beyond grit, beyond determination.

Speaker A

It is something inherent in the cells of every Finnish person, or at least that's what I was taught my whole entire life.

Speaker A

It's one of my very favorite words.

Speaker A

Because when I am feeling defeated or I'm feeling down or lack motivation or, you know, just feeling maybe a little blue, and I use the word sisu, I remind myself I will always get through it, and I will always move to the other side.

Speaker A

And I do have resilience.

Speaker A

So the words innocence, sisu are words that I can instantly say, instantly repeat, instantly grab onto when I want to shift my state, when I want to remind myself who I really am.

Speaker A

Those words I can have around my house, in my writings, on my computer, and they immediately help me, support me, guide me, empower me.

Speaker A

Well, I want you to have words, too.

Speaker A

I want you to have your words, the words that really resonate with you.

Speaker A

Now, your words may change over time, so I want you to think about the words right now that support you the best.

Speaker A

That support you, empower you, ground you.

Speaker A

And if you'd like, you can look back at the years past the last five, 10, 15, 20 years.

Speaker A

Maybe you had different words.

Speaker A

I think, in the past.

Speaker A

One of my words is love.

Speaker A

And I love the word love.

Speaker A

But innocence feels so much more grounded for me.

Speaker A

And, of course, who doesn't love love?

Speaker A

So what are your favorite words?

Speaker A

Claim them.

Speaker A

Write them down.

Speaker A

Own them.

Speaker A

Describe them.

Speaker A

Tell a story about them so that you can anchor it into your body and brains and hearts and soul and cells.

Speaker A

So that when you say it, when you see it, when you.

Speaker A

You hear it, it'll immediately help you get back to yourself.

Speaker A

Immediately help you become more who you are meant to be.

Speaker A

So what are your favorite words?

Speaker A

Until next time, be fearless.

Speaker A

I love.
