Welcome to Love Notes from Rhonda.
Speaker AAnd today I want you to think about your favorite word or your favorite words, because today I want you to start anchoring the words that really resonate with you, that maybe express you, that maybe help center you, keep you grounded, maybe give you motivation and maybe create joy in your heart.
Speaker ASo what are some of your very favorite words?
Speaker AI'm going to share mine.
Speaker AOne of my very favorite words is innocence.
Speaker AFor far too long, I blamed myself.
Speaker AI condemned myself, I shamed myself, I blamed myself.
Speaker AAnd when I started to embrace the concept of the word innocence, that I was innocent, that you are innocent.
Speaker AThat we are innocent doesn't mean we don't make mistakes.
Speaker ABut that at our heart, we didn't do it because we're evil or any of that, you know, we're not evil.
Speaker AWe're innocent.
Speaker AAnd that word, when I say the word innocent, it just.
Speaker AMy eyes light up, my heart opens.
Speaker AI just feel this softness come over me, and I feel centered.
Speaker AAnother word that I love is sisu.
Speaker AThat's spelled S I, S U.
Speaker AAnd it is a word that Finnish folk use.
Speaker AIt's a Finnish word, and Finnish, from the land of Finland.
Speaker AIt is a word that we use to describe ourselves.
Speaker AWe have sisu.
Speaker AAnd if you ever meet a Finnish person and you say, do you have sisu?
Speaker AThey'll be like, well, of course I have sisu.
Speaker AEvery Finn has sisu.
Speaker AAnd sisu is beyond grit, beyond determination.
Speaker AIt is something inherent in the cells of every Finnish person, or at least that's what I was taught my whole entire life.
Speaker AIt's one of my very favorite words.
Speaker ABecause when I am feeling defeated or I'm feeling down or lack motivation or, you know, just feeling maybe a little blue, and I use the word sisu, I remind myself I will always get through it, and I will always move to the other side.
Speaker AAnd I do have resilience.
Speaker ASo the words innocence, sisu are words that I can instantly say, instantly repeat, instantly grab onto when I want to shift my state, when I want to remind myself who I really am.
Speaker AThose words I can have around my house, in my writings, on my computer, and they immediately help me, support me, guide me, empower me.
Speaker AWell, I want you to have words, too.
Speaker AI want you to have your words, the words that really resonate with you.
Speaker ANow, your words may change over time, so I want you to think about the words right now that support you the best.
Speaker AThat support you, empower you, ground you.
Speaker AAnd if you'd like, you can look back at the years past the last five, 10, 15, 20 years.
Speaker AMaybe you had different words.
Speaker AI think, in the past.
Speaker AOne of my words is love.
Speaker AAnd I love the word love.
Speaker ABut innocence feels so much more grounded for me.
Speaker AAnd, of course, who doesn't love love?
Speaker ASo what are your favorite words?
Speaker AClaim them.
Speaker AWrite them down.
Speaker AOwn them.
Speaker ADescribe them.
Speaker ATell a story about them so that you can anchor it into your body and brains and hearts and soul and cells.
Speaker ASo that when you say it, when you see it, when you.
Speaker AYou hear it, it'll immediately help you get back to yourself.
Speaker AImmediately help you become more who you are meant to be.
Speaker ASo what are your favorite words?
Speaker AUntil next time, be fearless.
Speaker AI love.
