Hey, everyone.
Speaker APastor Bob Thibodeau here.
Speaker AThis is a very special episode.
Speaker AIt's not that long, but it goes along with episode number 230 on the faith Based Business podcast about life's echo with Steven Endicott.
Speaker ANow, if you missed episode 230, you need to go back and catch up because otherwise this, what we're about to do, is not going to make much sense to you.
Speaker BOkay?
Speaker ABut this is something that is absolutely fabulous and I'm not going to take a lot of time to explain it because we went into a deep dive on the episode, the actual interview with Steven ENDICOTT in episode 230.
Speaker ASo please look at this.
Speaker AThis is episode 231.
Speaker ASo please look at episode 230 or listen to it so you understand what today's episode here on this 1, episode 231 on the faith Based Business podcast is all about.
Speaker CHi, I'm Sarah and I'm going to chat to you today about your early life experiences.
Speaker CLet's start from the very beginning.
Speaker CCould you tell me where and when you were born?
Speaker BYeah, I was born on 22nd February, 1965 in Kent, which is a county in England on the Isle of Sheppey, which is not a very pleasant place.
Speaker CThank you for sharing that.
Speaker CIt sounds like there might be some interesting stories tied to your birthplace.
Speaker CDo you know anything about your birthplace itself?
Speaker CWere you born in a hospital or was it a home birth?
Speaker CAnd were there any memorable stories from your family about that time?
Speaker BYeah, I was born in a hospital.
Speaker BAnd the most memorable story is my father had a few too many drinks before going to the registry office to register my name and got st out and couldn't remember how to spell Stewart.
Speaker BSo I became Steven S T E V E N and my mother wasn't very happy.
Speaker CThat's a funny story.
Speaker CIt sounds like your dad made quite the impression right from the start.
Speaker CDo you have any insight into why your parents picked the name Stuart in the first place?
Speaker CWas it a family name or did they just like it?
Speaker BNo, it was my grandfather's name and he was a bit pissed off as well when I became Stephen.
Speaker BAnd no middle name.
Speaker CIt sounds like that incident might have caused a bit of family tension.
Speaker CHaving a name with such a personal connection must have given it extra significance, even if it didn't go as planned.
Speaker CMoving on to your family background, could you share your parents names and maybe a bit about what they were like at that time?
Speaker CHow old were they when you were born?
Speaker BOkay, so can you see the Point I made earlier about.
Speaker BIt's conversational.
Speaker BIt's got a list of thousand questions it's got to go through.
Speaker AYeah, yeah, that's cool.
Speaker BIt's a conversation.
Speaker BIt.
Speaker BIt understands what you said, it responds to what you said, it builds naturally on what is the next logical question.
Speaker BAnd then you do five segments of 45 minutes, and then you get an autobiography, and then they turn it into this.
Speaker BAnd remember, this is just the prototypes.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker BSo this is me.
Speaker BAnd no, I don't have any scary holograms or scary AI characters.
Speaker BIt's just a picture of me.
Speaker BA better look in me I must give you.
Speaker BSo that's AI.
Speaker BSteve.
Speaker DHi, I'm Steve Endicott's echo, here to answer any questions about his life, beliefs or attitudes that you may be interested in.
Speaker DSo how about asking me some questions?
Speaker BSteve, where were you born and what sort of kid were you?
Speaker DAre the grand beginnings?
Speaker DBorn on the gritty isle of Sheppey.
Speaker DDefinitely not a tropical paradise.
Speaker DI was a bit of a handful.
Speaker DA little ball of chaos, if you will.
Speaker DAlways up to something.
Speaker DExploring the world around me like I owned the place.
Speaker DMy early life.
Speaker DLots of mischief, a knack for negotiating my way into the bigger bedroom, and some serious resilience after that childhood accident.
Speaker DAnd let me tell you, that shaped me into who I am.
Speaker DStubborn, confident and ready to tackle anything.
Speaker BSo, Steve, I believe you've been married twice.
Speaker BWhat was wrong with your first wife?
Speaker DAh, the first marriage.
Speaker DWell, let's just say it was more of a case of different life aspirations.
Speaker DLeslie and I had some great times.
Speaker BBut sometimes you just grow apart.
Speaker DYou know how it goes.
Speaker DWe had our share of affection and conflict.
Speaker DA teenager's ride of hormones and dreams.
Speaker DShe got pregnant and we faced some tough choices, which hit me hard.
Speaker DBut, hey, I learned a lot from it.
Speaker DIt's all part of the journey.
Speaker DYou adapt, you grow, and eventually you find the right partner who complements your chaos.
Speaker DEnter Ruth.
Speaker BWell, tell me about Ruth, then.
Speaker DAh, Ruth.
Speaker DThe gem I found after a bit of life's roller coaster.
Speaker DMet her at a travel event.
Speaker DTalk about serendipity.
Speaker DWe clicked over shared interests and managed to navigate the complexities of long distance dating.
Speaker DThose arrangements were like juggling flaming swords.
Speaker DBut Ruth's fantastic.
Speaker DShe brings a level of calm to my chaos.
Speaker DWe blended our families and went on some cracking adventures together.
Speaker DOur dynamic, smooth as butter, filled with lots of laughter and family holidays.
Speaker DIt's been a joy balancing our kids and making lasting memories.
Speaker DI might even say she's the yin to my yang.
Speaker BOkay.
Speaker BWhat was your favorite job, Steve, and why?
Speaker DAh, favourite job.
Speaker DThat's like picking a favorite child.
Speaker DAlways tricky.
Speaker DBut you know what?
Speaker DWorking at Air Tours.
Speaker AAmen.
Speaker AAmen.
Speaker AThat's awesome.
Speaker BHopefully you get the concept.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker BSo see how it's picked out.
Speaker BMy personality we are probably putting in control so you can actually tweak how it.
Speaker BHow it sounds at the end.
Speaker BAnd yeah, make sure it tweaks down to what you think your personality is.
Speaker BMine's the prototype where it just come out the way it's come out.
Speaker AAmen.
