Hello everyone, everywhere.
Speaker APastor Bob Thibodeau here.
Speaker AWelcome to the faith based business podcast.
Speaker AToday we're so blessed you're joining us.
Speaker AAll week we've been studying about the kingdompreneurs business blueprint, the foundations of success, and today's training we're going to be looking at busting the myths.
Speaker ABusting the myths, what does that mean, Pastor Bob?
Speaker AWell, mainly dealing with conventional wisdom.
Speaker AOkay.
Speaker AEspecially without validating anything.
Speaker ALet's go ahead and share the screen.
Speaker AWe'll go ahead and get started.
Speaker AToday's study.
Speaker APraise the Lord and let that.
Speaker AAnd click that.
Speaker AThere we go.
Speaker APraise God.
Speaker ANow, we've been talking these last several sessions about testing, testing, testing, testing, asking, asking and asking for feedback.
Speaker ARight.
Speaker AThis is the only way, folks, that you're going to be able to receive true validation on what you're building.
Speaker AYou have to ask the questions.
Speaker AAll right?
Speaker ABecause there's dangers in believing the myths.
Speaker AWhat do you mean by that?
Speaker AWell, as kingdompreneurs, we're often tempted to just embrace conventional wisdom without really questioning its validity.
Speaker ANow, while some advice, it may sound appealing, believing that the myths about business can often lead to unnecessary frustration and setbacks.
Speaker ABelieve me, I've been down that path.
Speaker AAmen.
Speaker AMs.
Speaker ALike great products will just sell themselves or Frost promotions.
Speaker AAll you need, brother.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker AThat can derail even the best intentions.
Speaker AAmen.
Speaker AJust as the enemy used subtle lies to deceive Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.
Speaker AWell, because myths can also distract us from the truth and cause us to take missteps in our business plan as well.
Speaker AAmen.
Speaker AToday we're going to look very quickly at and expose these myths.
Speaker AAt least I'm going to attempt to and replace them with practical wisdom to guide your entrepreneurial journey down a successful path.
Speaker AAmen.
Speaker ASo when you uncover the truth behind a common business myth, you, you can gain clarity, you gain confidence in your decisions.
Speaker AAnd all of this just enables you to create strategies that are rooted in reality rather than false promises.
Speaker AOkay, let's look at some common myths in this area.
Speaker AMyth number one, Great products sell themselves.
Speaker AAmen.
Speaker AI'm sure you've all heard this one.
Speaker AAmen.
Speaker ADon't shut me down when I'm preaching.
Speaker AGood already, praise God.
Speaker ABut even the best products need visibility to succe need.
Speaker AIf nobody knows about it, nobody's gonna buy it.
Speaker AIt's as simple as that.
Speaker AAmen.
Speaker AWithout marketing, even life changing solutions can go unnoticed.
Speaker AAnd then nobody wins.
Speaker ANot them, not you, nobody.
Speaker AAmen.
Speaker APractical wisdom though.
Speaker AInvest in marketing and storytelling to highlight Your product's value.
Speaker APeople need to see how it'll improve their lives.
Speaker AJust as we are called to let our light shine.
Speaker AAmen.
Speaker AMatthew 5, 16.
Speaker AA great product must be showcased to make an impact.
Speaker AThen there is practical wisdom.
Speaker AUse cross promotion as one of the broader strategies, ensuring that your messaging remains consistent and authentic.
Speaker APaul taught us in First Corinthians 3, 3, 6.
Speaker AI believe that while some plant others water.
Speaker AAmen.
Speaker AIt's God, though, who gives the growth.
Speaker ANobody else.
Speaker ACollaboration is valuable, it's needful.
Speaker ABut it's not the whole picture.
Speaker AWhich then leads us to the answer.
Speaker AThe answer is the power of clear messaging.
Speaker AAmen.
Speaker AFocus.
Speaker AHow do you do that?
Speaker AThe.
Speaker AThe clear messaging focus on your unique value myths will often distract from what truly matters.
Speaker AThat's the purpose of the myth.
Speaker AWhat truly matters is communicating how your problem will actually solve problems.
Speaker AAmen.
Speaker AAnd then there's consistent message.
Speaker AYou don't want to say, oh, this is the great stinks and sliced bread.
Speaker AWith this you'll be able to do X, Y and Z.
Speaker AAnd then in the next time you talk about it, say, well, XYZ is fine, but it's really going to help you do abc.
Speaker AAnd then the next time you talk about, yeah, it'll help you do all that, but then it's going to help you do this.
Speaker AThat's inconsistent messaging.
Speaker AYou need to be consistent in your messaging, and it needs to be clear, consistent messages that resonate with your audience, cutting through all the other noise that they're going to hear.
Speaker ABecause if you don't tell them, nobody else will.
Speaker AThat's a given right there.
Speaker AAnd then you always have to have actionable insight.
Speaker AWhat does that mean?
Speaker AReplace reliance on the myths with actionable plans.
Speaker ATest different messaging strategies.
Speaker ASee what works best for your product and your delivery style.
Speaker AOkay.
Speaker AWhat works for Pastor Bob and my style may not work for you.
Speaker AWhat works for you may not work for me.
Speaker AEach person and each business has to have their own style in this.
Speaker ANow, the commonalities will remain the same, okay?
Speaker AExplaining the products, services, and the benefits and all that as we just covered.
Speaker AYour delivery method may be similar, but it's not going to be the same.
Speaker AAnd the way you communicate and the way you interact with your clients will be all you.
Speaker AThere'll be some similarities, you know, email and, and maybe given online classes and the way you deliver your products and all that.
Speaker AThat's.
Speaker AThere'll be similarities there, commonalities there, but it needs to be you.
Speaker AIt needs to have you in it.
Speaker AOkay, I could get up here and teach a class like some other people and just sit here and read to you.
Speaker AOkay?
Speaker AThe Kingdompreneur's Business blueprint, the foundations of Success.
Speaker ANow, the answer to everything we've been talking about is the power of clear messaging.
Speaker AYou do that by focusing on your unique value, your consistent messaging, and your actual insight.
Speaker AOkay.
Speaker AAnd that's.
Speaker AYeah, no, let me just say that up front.
Speaker ANo, that is not Pastor Bob style.
Speaker AI mean, I.
Speaker AIf you've never been on an interview with me on our podcast, the Kingdom Crossroads Podcast, this is the same way I talk on the podcast.
Speaker AI talk with my hands, and I get excited.
Speaker AAnd when.
Speaker AWhen people give me the feedback on the podcast, you know, because we follow up with them, you know, what they think about it and all that.
Speaker AThey're like, man, that was fun.
Speaker ABecause I've been on some podcasts where they get on there and the first thing they do is say, okay, well, let's go ahead and get started.
Speaker ATell us a little bit about yourself.
Speaker AYou know, and no enthusiasm.
Speaker AThey didn't do any research.
Speaker AThey're just going through the motions.
Speaker AYou know, that is not.
Speaker APastor Bob.
Speaker AIf you.
Speaker AIf you've been following me for any length of time, you know, what you're seeing right now is, all right, this is me.
Speaker AAnd this carries over into everything I do when I'm preaching on stage.
Speaker AOne of the things I cannot do if I'm in a church and I'm preaching a message, I cannot stand behind that pulpit.
Speaker AI request a microphone that I can take with me because I'm a walker.
Speaker AI walk around.
Speaker AI'll go down into the audience.
Speaker AThis is.
Speaker AYou know, I am not one of those guys that just stand behind the podium and read my prepared notes, rarely looking up, never giving emotion.
Speaker AThat is not Pastor Bob.
Speaker AThat's one of the reasons why I.
Speaker AI'm not going to go down that path right now.
Speaker APraise God.
Speaker AWhat am I saying?
Speaker AYou need your own style.
Speaker AOkay?
Speaker AFocus on your unique value.
Speaker ABe consistent in your message.
Speaker AYou can't preach one way today and preach another way tomorrow.
Speaker AAmen.
Speaker AIf you follow our.
Speaker AOur ministry programs, you see me preaching the same way all the time.
Speaker APraise God.
Speaker AHallelujah.
Speaker AOh, man, I'm getting excited right here.
Speaker AWe need to wrap this training up.
Speaker APraise God.
Speaker APraise God.
Speaker ATest the bottom line.
Speaker ATest different marketing strategies, messaging strategies, to see what works best for you and your style.
Speaker AAmen.
Speaker ABecause believing in business myths can lead to frustration and just totally miss opportunities as they come across your path because you're too focused on how things are supposed to be.
Speaker ABy rejecting myths like great products will sell themselves and focusing on.
Speaker AOn clear messaging and actionable strategies, you position yourself for success.
Speaker AAnd that's what this is all about anyway, isn't it?
Speaker ABut not just success, financially success that's rooted in truth, practicality, the word, and yes, the financial aspect as well.
Speaker AAmen.
Speaker ASo here's what you need to do right now.
Speaker AIdentify one myth, just one myth that you've believed and how it's affected your business.
Speaker AJust one.
Speaker AAnd replace it.
Speaker AReplace.
Speaker AIdentify and replace it with a practical, faith driven strategy to move forward from this point on.
Speaker AAmen.
Speaker AI love to hear from you share a myth that you've encountered and how you overcame it to inspire and guide others on their journey as well.
Speaker AAmen.
Speaker ALeave it in the comment down the show notes or reach out on the newsletter.
Speaker ALeave a comment on the newsletter and be a blessing to others too.
Speaker AGlory to God.
Speaker AHallelujah.
Speaker APraise the Lord.
Speaker ALet me stop this screen.
Speaker AShare or man, this is.
Speaker AI was excited, but this is a good one today.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker AAmen.
Speaker AOh, praise God.
Speaker AYou can't, you can't hold Pastor Bob down when I get excited.
Speaker AAmen.
Speaker AI wasn't tired of this microphone right now, I'd be up running around this room shouting Hallelujah.
Speaker AAbout 35 times.
Speaker AAmen.

Speaker AAnd commit to applying it just in the coming week, in the coming days.
Speaker AReflect on your progress as you do this.
Speaker AKeep refining your approach.
Speaker AThis is not a one and done deal, folks.
Speaker AYou gotta refine this just about every single day because things change.
Speaker AYou wake up tomorrow morning, interest rates have gone up or interest rates have gone down, or whatever the case may be, things change and you need to adapt.
Speaker AAll right, as I said, I'd love to hear your thoughts on all this.
