Host or Speaker BWelcome back to the elevated edit podcast.
Host or Speaker BToday's episode is going to be a little different.
Host or Speaker BWe are going to try to stay on task, but it is not really our strong suit.
Host or Speaker BI have got a wonderful friend, a wife, a mom, an entrepreneur, and an all around amazing person on the podcast with me today.
Host or Speaker BI have Kayleigh Lambert and I am so excited to have her on today.
Host or Speaker BSo just a little bit of backstory about our relationship.
Host or Speaker BJust our relationship today.
Host or Speaker BWe've been together how many hours today?
Kayleigh LambertProbably five.
Host or Speaker BProbably five.
Host or Speaker BAnd we've said, now, what were we talking about?
Host or Speaker BProbably 500 times.
Kayleigh LambertWhere was I going with that?
Host or Speaker BWhere was that story supposed to.
Host or Speaker BWhy did I start that story?
Host or Speaker BSo if we get off track, you, if you are someone who is easily annoyed by people getting off track, you might want to just go ahead and skip this episode because that's what's going to happen on this one.
Host or Speaker BSo anyway, haley, I'm so thankful that you are on the episode today.
Kayleigh LambertThank you for having me.
Host or Speaker BI would love for you to tell us a little bit about yourself.
Host or Speaker BI am hopeful that all of my audience already knows you, but I would love for those that don't to hear a little bit about you.
Kayleigh LambertHi, friends and new friends.
Kayleigh LambertMy name is kayleigh lambert and I am a born and raised south arkansas girl.
Kayleigh LambertI am married to a very, very good guy.
Kayleigh LambertHis name is nick.
Kayleigh LambertPatience of a saint.
Kayleigh LambertWe have two beautiful daughters.
Host or Speaker BVery beautiful daughters.
Kayleigh LambertA little bit wild sometimes, but they're great and they are just the lights of my life.
Host or Speaker BShe really does have the most beautiful children.
Host or Speaker BI am not ready to have children yet, so I like to love on my friends kids.
Host or Speaker BAnd hers were wonderful because they think I'm great and amazing and I can play with them and then give them back to her and go back to my house.
Kayleigh LambertThey're a little wild.
Host or Speaker BThat's the best way to parent for me in this stage.
Host or Speaker BOkay, Kayla, that's great.
Host or Speaker BYes.
Host or Speaker BSo we were actually, we've had, like I said, we have been together for at least 5 hours today and we have talked about so many different things.
Host or Speaker BBut earlier in the car, the topic of jealousy came up and what I was telling her was that in this season of life, I am no longer jealous about material items.
Host or Speaker BI am jealous when people have a wonderful family unit.
Host or Speaker BAnd Kaylee is very blessed, very lucky.
Host or Speaker BShe has not only an amazing family on her mommy and dad's side, but on her husband's side as well.
Host or Speaker BSo she's very blessed with family.
Host or Speaker BAnd I would love for you to talk a little bit about family and what it means to you and what it means to keep your focus and your priority on your family.
Kayleigh LambertSo family is a huge priority.
Kayleigh LambertAnd my girls are the reason I went from, you know, a corporate office job to staying at home and then kind of doing some part time things because I wanted to be there with them.
Kayleigh LambertBut the priority of family and prioritizing family was instilled just from the very beginning.
Kayleigh LambertI guess my grandparents have always stressed the importance of family, but not through words, just by showing us love.
Kayleigh LambertAnd then, in turn, our parents.
Kayleigh LambertAnd then now we saw that and can do it for our kids.
Kayleigh LambertBut, for example, like, my mimi still cooks Sunday lunch.
Kayleigh LambertAnd it's not a you have to be there, but it's just, it's what she's always done.
Kayleigh LambertAnd now she's got her great grandbabies coming.
Kayleigh LambertIt's something we look forward to.
Kayleigh LambertShe celebrates our birthdays when they come around by asking what we want and what we want for dessert.
Kayleigh LambertAnd so it's just special.
Kayleigh LambertAnd it's the little things like that that have made me realize, like, what is important and what I want my priorities to be.
Kayleigh LambertAnd now we joke that we live on the compound because we live next to my first cousin and his wife, and they have two small children, and we swap out supper nights.
Kayleigh LambertAnd across the street, you have Nick's first cousin and his aunt and uncle.
Kayleigh LambertAnd then over one house, I've got a cousin.
Kayleigh LambertMy grandparents are building a house.
Kayleigh LambertMy brother lives next door, and then my aunt uncle are building a house behind that.
Kayleigh LambertSo we get to see and love on our people every day, and they love on us.
Kayleigh LambertAnd it's just great.
Host or Speaker BI love it.
Host or Speaker BI feel like so few people, especially in this day and age, still have that, that family unit.
Host or Speaker BAnd like I said earlier, I am rarely jealous.
Host or Speaker BI'm not jealous if you drive a big car, if you, you have a big house.
Host or Speaker BBut, like, when I see you with your family, I'm like, oh, wow.
Host or Speaker BLike, I love that.
Host or Speaker BAnd Kaylee is really good about setting boundaries around her children.
Host or Speaker BLike, if you are friends with her, you know that if she's with her baby, she might not text you back for hours.
Host or Speaker BIt's not anything personal.
Host or Speaker BIt's just where she sets her priorities.
Host or Speaker BSo I would love if you would talk for a little bit about saying no and prioritizing what is important, because I know it's not always easy to say no.
Host or Speaker BAnd I think, especially as women, we carry a lot of guilt about saying no sometimes.
Host or Speaker BAnd I feel like from the outside at least, you were, like, very good at saying no.
Host or Speaker BI know you've had to, like, work your way up to that, but I would love for you to talk about, like, maybe like, an example of, like, okay, if you're in a situation where somebody asks you to do something and it's time with your babies, like, what kind of.
Host or Speaker BWhat your thought process is like, and, like, how you, like, kind of process those feelings and get through that, saying no.
Kayleigh LambertSo if it's something that means a lot to someone or I think is really important, if I don't have something scheduled with my girls or if it's not going to take away, because like I said, we have a great family system.
Kayleigh LambertSo if Nick's going to be home or if that's just an extra hour they get to spend with their grandparents or something, you know that I weigh that into it.
Host or Speaker BOf course that's good.
Kayleigh LambertBut if it's something that's just.
Kayleigh LambertJust social, or I know my girls have something important, or they need me there, or maybe I wasn't there last night because I was doing something work related, I know, to put the time aside for them.
Kayleigh LambertAnd at the end of the day, like, they are who I go home to, so.
Kayleigh LambertAnd as far as I may not answer a text, I've always not been great about that.
Kayleigh LambertAnd sometimes it's because I don't know where my phone is, but I do try to put things down so that I can spend the time I have at home with them and be in the moment.
Host or Speaker BYeah, you're so.
Host or Speaker BSo something else.
Host or Speaker BI'm going to make her blush for a little bit, but I think it's because you grew up with such a good family.
Host or Speaker BBut Kaylee is a good friend, and I think that people who are friends with you can attest to that.
Host or Speaker BBut, like, she is, like, I am not necessarily always a good friend.
Host or Speaker BI think I try to be, but, like, you were, like, genuinely you.
Host or Speaker BYes, you.
Host or Speaker BLike, genuinely a good friend.
Host or Speaker BLike, you are very, like, caring from your heart.
Host or Speaker BLike, innately, like, just naturally.
Host or Speaker BYou're like, a caring person.
Host or Speaker BAnd I think that might come from, you know, you having such a close family and having so much support that now you like, extend that to support to your friends too.
Kayleigh LambertEven the guys in my family, like, you know, you think of warmth and like, nurturing.
Kayleigh LambertLike, a lot of times you think of that being like a woman's role and what comes naturally to a mom or something of that sort or grandmother.
Kayleigh LambertBut the guys in my family are really good about caring and being nurturing and checking on you if they know you've had something going on or, you know, just little things like that.
Kayleigh LambertAnd Nick is like that too.
Kayleigh LambertSo I'm very blessed in that sense.
Kayleigh LambertBut I.
Kayleigh LambertI have had really good role models in that area on my life.
Host or Speaker BYeah, you have.
Host or Speaker BSo her dad, like, Kaylee text me last week.
Host or Speaker BAnd so we went to high school together just for reference.
Host or Speaker BAnd she texted me last week and she was like, my dad is listening to your podcast.
Host or Speaker BAnd, you know, just that.
Host or Speaker BI mean, like, my dad probably doesn't even not try it personal.
Host or Speaker BHe probably doesn't have a podcast, you know, and so, like, to hear that, I'm like, wow, that genuinely a good man, which if anybody knows dad, he's literally the best person on the planet.
Host or Speaker BHe is.
Host or Speaker BYes, your mom is too.
Host or Speaker BBut your dad is just.
Host or Speaker BIf you think of a warm hug and then you think of a person that is Kayleigh's dad.
Host or Speaker BI mean, he really is just like a big warm hug.
Host or Speaker BAnd, I mean, he's just an incredible person.
Host or Speaker BAnd I'm gonna give one more shout out to a man in your life.
Host or Speaker BAnd I don't want him to listen to this and get a big ego, but I'm gonna shout out your husband because I feel like it is so common for, at least in the conversations that I hear for wives to have to, you know, it's very like the husband is babysitting the children.
Host or Speaker BAnd I don't feel like that's the dynamic in your house.
Host or Speaker BLike, I feel like Nick could just step in and he might not do it the way you want it done, but he's gonna step in and be dad.
Host or Speaker BAnd I don't think that is also seen a lot these days.
Kayleigh LambertI said from the beginning, Nick is going to be the favorite parent.
Kayleigh LambertHe is going to be the best.
Kayleigh LambertHe's going to be the best parent because he's children have always been like naturally drawn to him.
Kayleigh LambertHe's just warm and plays with him and loves on him.
Kayleigh LambertAnd our girls think he hung the moon.
Kayleigh LambertLike, you can ask them at any time, who's your favorite?
Kayleigh LambertAnd they're going to say, they're dad.
Kayleigh LambertUnless they have, like, an off the wall answer.
Host or Speaker BRight.
Host or Speaker BBut that's so good to, like, feel good about that.
Host or Speaker BAnd I think that probably gives you two the freedom to, like, be yourself a little bit more, because you do know that you can, you know, if you need to, like, today, like, if you need to go do a podcast or if you need to go run somewhere, like, you're not having to send him, like, this long, detailed list, like, Nick can just handle it.
Kayleigh LambertYeah.
Host or Speaker BThe kids.
Host or Speaker BThe girls might end up at school in camo, right.
Kayleigh LambertWith no hair bowden.
Host or Speaker BMaybe some crocs might be involved.
Kayleigh LambertSame thing.
Kayleigh LambertI sent Maggie to school today without a hair bow.
Kayleigh LambertWe were at the door, and I was like, that is good enough.
Host or Speaker BHey, if you can get that girl out of the door, that might be all.
Kayleigh LambertHer teeth were brushed, and she was excited to go to school, and that was a total win.
Host or Speaker BSo this girl, first of all, she's beautiful on the outside, but she's one of those kids that, you know, is going to be, like, a CEO one day because she is not taking anything from anybody.
Kayleigh LambertYeah.
Host or Speaker BLike, she is a little powerhouse, for sure, a CEO.
Kayleigh LambertAnd we hope it doesn't go in a wrong direction because she is a little powerhouse and a lot of bossy.
Kayleigh LambertSo, yeah, we're going to hope for, like, the CEO and just focus on the positive.
Host or Speaker BDon't think about, you know, strong, powerful woman.
Kayleigh LambertYes.
Host or Speaker BStrong, powerful woman.
Host or Speaker BOkay.
Host or Speaker BI love that.
Host or Speaker BSo earlier we did well, we tried to do a little script.
Host or Speaker BLike I said, when we get together, we are just, like, earlier, we talked about, like, balance and the importance of filling up your cup and what success looks like to you might not look like success to other people.
Host or Speaker BAnd so I would love for you to talk about, at least in this season of your life, where you are with that and really kind of define what success looks like for you right now.
Kayleigh LambertBalance.
Kayleigh LambertBecause I am a.
Kayleigh LambertI thrive being at home with my babies now.
Kayleigh LambertWhenever they get to about one and a half or two and they start, you can really start seeing a change where they're picking up on stuff and eager to learn and be with friends.
Kayleigh LambertLike, that's when I also start having the desire to do something for myself as far as work goes.
Kayleigh LambertAnd that worked out with my first child.
Kayleigh LambertAnd then we just started.
Kayleigh LambertMaggie just went to school, and so far, it's been really great.
Kayleigh LambertI get to fill my cup with that during the day, they get interaction with their friends, and then we get to see each other when we get home and it's been really good.
Kayleigh LambertBut as far as success goes, I will never say it's harder or easier to work or be a stay at home mom, because that looks different to.
Host or Speaker BEveryone, and it probably looks different, too, depending on, I think, especially with their ages.
Host or Speaker BDepending on the month.
Kayleigh LambertYeah.
Kayleigh LambertNo, regardless, it's not easy.
Kayleigh LambertLike, you're working.
Host or Speaker BYeah.
Kayleigh LambertSo it's just different types of work.
Kayleigh LambertAnd so where one person may want to go to work because they come home and they're a better mom.
Kayleigh LambertAnd then when I thought about going to work, I was upset because I felt like my purpose was to be home with them.
Kayleigh LambertThat didn't make it any easier because I loved my job at the time, I loved it, but that's what I felt was important.
Kayleigh LambertSo I will never be one to say, like, what is more important in your life, like, as long as you are filling your cup and doing the very best you can do, like, I don't think anyone can define someone else's success.
Host or Speaker BAbsolutely.
Host or Speaker BI feel like there's so much pressure on women from all different angles, no matter what stage you're in.
Host or Speaker BAnd I feel like social media has probably elevated this because people are only posting their 1%.
Host or Speaker BWe're not seeing the 99%, but I feel like women feel such a pressure to, oh, well, I should be doing this, but it's like, no, just do what feels good for you.
Host or Speaker BLike, if this season of your life, you are barely hanging on and you get home at the end of the day and the dishes are stacked up and the laundry stacked up, but your babies are happy and they're safe and warm, then, like, that's what you know is super important.
Host or Speaker BAnd that's what I love about you, is that her house will never have dishes stacked up and the laundry will never be.
Host or Speaker BShe's so clean.
Host or Speaker BShe's like, okay, go ahead.
Kayleigh LambertI have gotten a lot more relaxed, and it goes back to having, like, good people in my life.
Kayleigh LambertMy mimi told my mom and my aunt Terry when we were babies, the laundry can wait.
Kayleigh LambertHold your baby.
Kayleigh LambertWhether it be like, my mom stayed at home with me.
Kayleigh LambertMy aunt Terry was a nurse and went back to work, and they both struggled with that.
Kayleigh LambertLike, do my mom, here's her job, to be home with me during the day, and the laundry has to be done.
Kayleigh LambertAunt Terry goes to work, comes home, the laundry still has to be done.
Kayleigh LambertBut you've also got a baby.
Host or Speaker BYeah.
Kayleigh LambertAnd time goes by so fast and so.
Kayleigh LambertAnd it's hard because I am one of those that wants my house to be a certain way.
Kayleigh LambertAnd I thrive with a to do listen and a planner.
Kayleigh LambertAnd I've kind of had to teach myself, too, to let some of that go so that other things can happen.
Host or Speaker BYeah.
Kayleigh LambertAnd I will, like, replay this in my head.
Kayleigh LambertLike, one day there's going to be a time when the floor is clean and you're going to miss the toys being everywhere.
Host or Speaker BYeah.
Host or Speaker BOh, that makes me sad.
Kayleigh LambertI know.
Kayleigh LambertBut just, like, when hard things happen and you think this won't last forever, you've got to think about that.
Kayleigh LambertLike, the good stuff.
Host or Speaker BYeah, that is true.
Kayleigh LambertYou've got to think about it from both sides.
Host or Speaker BLiving so in the morning.
Host or Speaker BYeah.
Kayleigh LambertIt will pass.
Kayleigh LambertYou will get through this, you know, just get through it.
Host or Speaker BYeah.
Kayleigh LambertBut also the good moments and your kids seeing babies or when it's hard and they're screaming in the middle of the night, like, if you look at the good and the bad.
Kayleigh LambertI try to do that.
Kayleigh LambertLike, this is temporary, so do I want to soak it in?
Kayleigh LambertAnd this is temporary.
Kayleigh LambertCan I get through this?
Host or Speaker BYeah.
Kayleigh LambertLike, so it's just kind of.
Host or Speaker BI love that.
Kayleigh LambertI'm trying.
Kayleigh LambertI'm really trying.
Host or Speaker BI still think your definition of clean and mine are drastically different.
Host or Speaker BShe also is like, you garden and you cook, and I love to cook.
Host or Speaker BRaises geese.
Host or Speaker BDo you still have the geese at your house?
Kayleigh LambertThey're turkeys.
Kayleigh LambertWe have tin list, and I'm pretty sure they are going to their new home.
Host or Speaker BSo I pulled up her house one day and she.
Host or Speaker BWe talked about the turkeys.
Kayleigh LambertYeah.
Host or Speaker BI've never.
Host or Speaker BI've never seen a turkey in real life.
Host or Speaker BAnd I think the intent was for them to be, like, a wild turkey.
Host or Speaker BAnd then they became pet turkeys.
Host or Speaker BI'm not joking, y'all.
Host or Speaker BLike, a flock of.
Host or Speaker BShe's, like, clapping her hands, like.
Host or Speaker BLike, making.
Host or Speaker BI don't even know.
Host or Speaker BRemember your turkey noise?
Host or Speaker BShe's making some kind of turkey noise.
Host or Speaker BAnd these.
Host or Speaker BThese turkeys, like, waddled up to her and they were, like, looking at her like, well, that's the thing.
Kayleigh LambertThey never should have.
Kayleigh LambertLike, once we got them, Nick wanted to just kind of, like, see how they would do and then put them at the deer camp and just see, like, if they went into the wild, if they stayed around.
Kayleigh LambertThose birds have no, like, survival instinct at all.
Kayleigh LambertLike, it has been so funny to watch because they think Nick is their mom and, like, they know the sound of his truck and, like, he will pull up, and then when we had ten or, you know, more than two and they were younger, he would pull up, and you would just see them all, like, running, running.
Kayleigh LambertAnd they.
Kayleigh LambertTurkeys are supposed to fly up in a tree and roast at night.
Kayleigh LambertThese turkeys like to fly up on the grill or the outside refrigerator or just chill on the porch and look in the window.
Kayleigh LambertLike they, they have just been our pets.
Host or Speaker BY'all know, you made your house so warm and inviting that, like, even the animals are like, oh, we don't want to be in the wild.
Host or Speaker BWe don't.
Host or Speaker BWe don't want to be part of that.
Kayleigh LambertOr maybe they just feel at home because it's a little wild.
Host or Speaker BThat's true.
Host or Speaker BMaybe that's it.
Host or Speaker BYes.
Host or Speaker BOkay.
Host or Speaker BSo you mentioned filling your cup, and this is with work, and so obviously, we're in a beautiful office.
Host or Speaker BWe've got some color swatches behind us.
Host or Speaker BSo I would love for you to talk about your new business venture.
Host or Speaker BI have already partaken in this business venture, and it has literally, fundamentally changed my life as far as my wardrobe.
Host or Speaker BSo I would love for you to talk about your new business for a minute, kind of how you got started and how it's going so far.
Kayleigh LambertI am so excited about it.
Kayleigh LambertSo color analysis, and you are at Kaylee Lambert styling in my studio.
Kayleigh LambertYou know, I was on TikTok, and I usually go to TikTok for, like, recipes or, like, makeup and fashion, like, just to see what all the good is, because I love girly stuff.
Kayleigh LambertI'm a girly girl.
Kayleigh LambertAnd one day I saw this video come on the screen, and it was about picking.
Kayleigh LambertShe had swatches, and she was telling this girl what her best colors were, and I could noticeably see a difference in the girl's skin and how she looked and how she just lit up.
Kayleigh LambertAnd I was like, what is this?
Kayleigh LambertI've got to know more.
Kayleigh LambertSo I just became obsessed with looking at the videos and just didn't really put a whole lot of thought into the business side of it, but was just like, I would love to do, this is so cool.
Kayleigh LambertAnd then one day, we were on our way back from a trip, and I just started looking it up, and I was like, I'm going to do this, and did the certification, found an office, did the training, passed the training, and it's so cool.
Kayleigh LambertAnd I get to do that every day with women, and you just get to see them light up whenever you pull one color from, like, not their best color to a good color.
Kayleigh LambertLike, it's just, it's all the feel good, all the feel good and all the girly, and it's just I love it.
Host or Speaker BI feel like it's such a personality, because I feel like you're so good at making other people feel good.
Host or Speaker BLike, you're always one to give a compliment.
Host or Speaker BYou're always one to be a cheerleader.
Host or Speaker BAnd I feel like with this job, it kind of takes your unique talents, and it let you use them very organically, because now with this job, you are able to, like, bring someone's, like, beautiful side out.
Host or Speaker BObviously, you know, they always look beautiful, but, like, you're able to, like, bring that glow out.
Host or Speaker BAnd even, like, when she did my color analysis, like, I don't know.
Host or Speaker BI don't know what I was expecting when I went into it.
Host or Speaker BI guess.
Host or Speaker BCause I didn't know enough about it.
Host or Speaker BCause I'm kind of girly, but I'm not always great at everything.
Host or Speaker BBut when she showed me my in colors and now that I am buying clothes that are in my color palette and, like, I dyed my hair so I had a complete live transformation after, but it is.
Host or Speaker BI mean, so now every time I pull a piece out of my closet, I'm like, oh, Kaylee.
Host or Speaker BLike, Kaylee's the reason that I own this piece.
Host or Speaker BAnd so I think that it takes your personality, and it really just, like, allows you to be your truest self.
Host or Speaker BAnd I think that you were, like, the perfect person for this because you are such a cheerleader for women.
Kayleigh LambertWell, and everyone loves a compliment, but when you can actually see the change and just, like, what it does to your features.
Kayleigh LambertSo I use drapes of all different colors to first determine what season you're in based on your undertone of your skin.
Kayleigh LambertEye color kind of comes into effect or into play.
Kayleigh LambertHair color, natural hair color.
Kayleigh LambertThere's just a lot of different things.
Host or Speaker BI look at.
Kayleigh LambertI look at what it does to your jawline, and if you have any blemishes or freckling, like, what it does to that.
Kayleigh LambertLike, because the right colors enhance your natural beauty.
Kayleigh LambertSo you come in with no makeup on, and that.
Kayleigh LambertThat alone is kind of like a.
Kayleigh LambertUgh, very intimidating.
Kayleigh LambertEven when I did it, I got in front of that mirror with no makeup on and that white tape, and you feel the opposite of what you feel like when you leave, because when you leave, you've got this whole refreshed idea of what you look like when you're wearing the right colors.
Kayleigh LambertLike, nothing can stop you.
Kayleigh LambertLike, I'm stopping right now.
Kayleigh LambertAnd so I put the drapes on and first determine if you're cool or warm.
Kayleigh LambertAnd then from that, the four seasons so you've got spring and autumn.
Kayleigh LambertThey're warm.
Kayleigh LambertSummer and winter are cool.
Kayleigh LambertAnd then what's really cool about our system is there are now subseasons.
Kayleigh LambertSo back in the day, you know, there were four.
Kayleigh LambertThis was very popular in the eighties, too, and there were four seasons.
Kayleigh LambertWell, now it's expanded.
Kayleigh LambertSo you may be really good in spring, but also you may have some harmony with summer because your undertone is neutral.
Kayleigh LambertSo you would be a light spring.
Kayleigh LambertLike, it's.
Kayleigh LambertIt's just really cool.
Kayleigh LambertAnd you have.
Kayleigh LambertYou leave with fresh ideas and really, like, just a glow.
Kayleigh LambertLike, you can just tell people are feeling better about themselves when they leave.
Kayleigh LambertAnd that's just such a good feeling.
Host or Speaker BIt is.
Host or Speaker BYou're so good at it, too.
Host or Speaker BAnd I saw somebody make a post after they left, after they had an analysis done with you.
Host or Speaker BAnd in her post, she said, have you ever bought something and months later, it's still hanging in the closet?
Host or Speaker BYou never wore it, and you wondered why.
Host or Speaker BAnd that was, like, such a light bulb moment for me.
Host or Speaker BAnd this was even after I'd had my color analysis done.
Host or Speaker BAnd I was like.
Host or Speaker BCause I have, like, a section of things in my closet that they fit me, and theoretically, I should look good in them, but every time I try them on, I'm just like, something's off, you know?
Host or Speaker BLike, I just don't look good in this.
Host or Speaker BSo I went to that section the other day after I had my color analysis done, and I tried it on, like, with my swatches.
Host or Speaker BAnd then, like, thinking back on when you did my color analysis, and I was like, that's it.
Host or Speaker BIt's the colors.
Host or Speaker BIt's not the fit.
Host or Speaker BIt's not the anything else.
Host or Speaker BIt is literally the colors like it.
Host or Speaker BAnd so now I can save time, money, and my confidence is going to be better because I'm not going to be trying things on and being like, why do I look so ugly in this?
Host or Speaker BIt's because I'm a, x, y, or z.
Host or Speaker BYou know, my body's not.
Host or Speaker BI'm, you know, fat or I'm too short or whatever.
Host or Speaker BIt's just not my color.
Kayleigh LambertRight.
Kayleigh LambertYeah.
Host or Speaker BAnd so I love it.
Host or Speaker BI love that you're, like, kind of opening that up for people.
Kayleigh LambertAnd I was so guilty about, and I probably still will be if it's in my color palette.
Kayleigh LambertBut finding a shirt I liked and then saying, oh, I'm gonna get it in every color because I just thought it was great.
Kayleigh LambertAnd then I got these other colors, and I would go to put them on, and it I would.
Kayleigh LambertAgain, question, like, what you were saying, the fit, or is it made different or something?
Kayleigh LambertAnd now I can look back and it was totally the color.
Host or Speaker BYeah.
Kayleigh LambertSame shirt.
Kayleigh LambertBought it in three colors.
Kayleigh LambertOnly one of them worked, and that's why I didn't wear two.
Host or Speaker BIt's crazy.
Host or Speaker BIt really is.
Host or Speaker BSo if someone is wanting to book a session, like, how would they go about that?
Host or Speaker BAre they.
Host or Speaker BHow is kind of the reach out to you?
Kayleigh LambertSo I have a Facebook page.
Kayleigh LambertKaylee Lambert, styling.
Kayleigh LambertInstagram and TikTok are the same.
Host or Speaker BOkay.
Kayleigh LambertKaylee Lambert styling.
Kayleigh LambertAnd on those sites, you will find a link to book Facebook.
Kayleigh LambertIt's at the very top.
Kayleigh LambertAnd I think Instagram it is too.
Kayleigh LambertBut, yeah, you just go and it's got all the options.
Kayleigh LambertI can do parties one on one, offer it on the weekends, and you just click it, and you book, and it sends me a notification, and you're on my calendar.
Host or Speaker BI love that.
Host or Speaker BI love that you've made it so simple for people to book, because I feel like everything these days is so complex, and if something is a little bit too hard for me, I'm not inherently a lazy person, but if something is difficult, I'm like, I'm out.
Host or Speaker BI love that you made it so simple for people to book it.
Kayleigh LambertI like simple, too.
Host or Speaker BYes.
Kayleigh LambertWe're both.
Host or Speaker BWe're both very simple.
Host or Speaker BOkay.
Host or Speaker BYou might not think it looking at us, because we are.
Host or Speaker BI feel like the way we dress and the way we carry ourselves is such a juxtaposition to, like, our personalities.
Host or Speaker BBecause if you saw me, you might be like, oh, she's very put together, and she's very blah, blah, blah.
Host or Speaker BAnd then I'm like, you know, like, earlier, I hadn't even, like, charged the microphones.
Host or Speaker BI mean, we were just kind of rolling in with it, but we make it work.
Kayleigh LambertYeah.
Kayleigh LambertYeah.
Kayleigh LambertBecause if you catch me at the compound at my house, hanging out with some people, leggings, t shirt, no makeup, probably my hair and a hat.
Host or Speaker BThat's another thing about the color analysis, too, is, like, not only will the colors make you feel good about yourself, but Kaylee will make you feel good about yourself.
Host or Speaker BLike, I'm telling you, she's a natural cheerleader.
Host or Speaker BShe's a girls girl.
Host or Speaker BI feel like it's so hard to find, like, true girls girls these days.
Host or Speaker BLike, a lot of people have an agenda or, you know, they have an end goal in mind, which is perfectly fine if that, you know, is how you want to conduct yourself.
Host or Speaker BBut, like, I feel like you're just, like, a genuine.
Host or Speaker BA genuine good person.
Kayleigh LambertIt's just easy to be nice to people.
Host or Speaker BYeah.
Kayleigh LambertAnd like, for you, like, instead of.
Kayleigh LambertI try, you know, you are nice.
Kayleigh LambertYou're very nice.
Host or Speaker BWay nicer than me, though.
Host or Speaker BI'm like kind of a secondary nice.
Host or Speaker BI'm like, oh, she.
Host or Speaker BOkay.
Host or Speaker BWould she get to know her?
Host or Speaker BShe's really nice.
Kayleigh LambertSecondary nice.
Host or Speaker BYou know, you gotta, like, kind of.
Host or Speaker BYou gotta ease in.
Host or Speaker BLike, you, like, walk in the room nice.
Host or Speaker BYou're nice on the.
Host or Speaker BYour wholeness is nice.
Host or Speaker BMy heart is nice, but maybe not the, you know, on the forefront.
Kayleigh LambertAlways.
Kayleigh LambertYou just keep your phone before.
Kayleigh LambertThat's okay.
Host or Speaker BThat's true.
Host or Speaker BThat's true.
Kayleigh LambertThat's okay.
Kayleigh LambertGuard your heart.
Host or Speaker BYep.
Host or Speaker BOkay.
Host or Speaker BWe're.
Kayleigh LambertProtect your peace.
Host or Speaker BI feel like going quickly into it.
Host or Speaker BWell, this is our problem is because we are so we have such good conversation is we can very quickly, like go on and like earlier we went down a rabbit hole.
Host or Speaker BI don't even remember what we talked about.
Host or Speaker BAnd Kaylee made the comment, she said, wow, we only talked for an hour.
Kayleigh LambertYeah.
Host or Speaker BBecause normally when we go off on a tangent, like when we go like, to Shreveport or something together, I mean, we're just like.
Host or Speaker BAnd then you get home and you're like, what did we talk about tonight?
Host or Speaker BBut we were together for 12 hours, so we obviously.
Host or Speaker BWe didn't shut up.
Host or Speaker BSo we obviously talked about something.
Host or Speaker BYeah, but it filled my cup.
Host or Speaker BWe're filling each other.
Host or Speaker BYeah.
Host or Speaker BOkay.
Host or Speaker BWe're doing it right now.
Host or Speaker BOkay.
Host or Speaker BI hope that y'all followed that ramble and I hope that you enjoyed this episode.
Host or Speaker BIt was so.
Host or Speaker BI've been super excited for this episode because.
Host or Speaker BMe too.
Host or Speaker BI knew Kayleigh was gonna be a good guest.
Host or Speaker BI knew that you were gonna love her.
Host or Speaker BLike I said, she's very engaging.
Host or Speaker BShe's so fun.
Host or Speaker BShe's such a girls girl.
Host or Speaker BYou absolutely need to come visit her.
Host or Speaker BIf you're not from El Dorado, just make a girls trip and we can.
Host or Speaker BWe can turn it into a fun thing.
Host or Speaker BWe'll go grab a spot of wine and we'll have a party.
Host or Speaker BTurn it into a girl.
Kayleigh LambertAlways a party, always a good time.
