Welcome back to another episode of health hacks. I am Melissa Dealel, and I am sharing with you my favorite quotes to live by this month. And today's quote is by the Dalai Lama, and it is man can have or, of course, woman can have 1000 dreams until he doesn't have his health, and then he has but one, the dream to be well again. And I love this quote because it's so true that our health is that our foundation for everything, and as I've shared many times before, without our health, we can't live a joyous, happy life being able to do all of the things that we want to do and pursue our dreams and be an incredible parent and an incredible partner and run the business that we want to run, or be the leader in the corporate world that we want to be. In order to have the energy in to be able to do all of those things and follow our dreams, we have to have our health. And yet society teaches us to take our health for granted. And I'm asking you to flip that on its head and make your health your number one priority, because when you do that, everything else flows. You'll be able to earn the income you want to earn to hike the mountains you want to hike or bike or, you know, keep up with your kids when they're toddlers and teenagers, etc, and live without aches and pains. The old adage that I've got aches and pains, it's just aging, is all bogus. It's absolutely bogus. We don't have to have aches and pains as we get older. Again, that societal programming that you can shift when you prioritize your health and you listen when your body talks to you, aches and pains are symptoms of something else going on, inflammation, sore muscles, high, toxic load. You look into what's going on so that you can eradicate the aches and pains and get back to feeling amazing again. And the sooner you do that, the easier it is to resolve, and then you fully regain your health and you can get back to living fully. And so it is so important to prioritize our health, because, excuse me, without it truly, what else do you have? And there's so many simple steps that you can take in prioritizing your health, and one of them is literally to tune in to my don't wait for your wake up call podcast and all of my health hacks and just get all of the actionable tips that I share in each and every episode, and introducing you to people that have healed themselves, introducing you to other practitioners, because there is more than one way to heal. There's a myriad of ways to heal in the holistic world, so that you can find the right resources for you, not the least of which is your mindset. Do you believe in your health? Do you believe that you can be healthy? Do you believe that you can heal? Because that is critical. It gets back to the quote I said a few days ago, whether you think you can or you think you can't, you're right. So mindset is absolutely critical there in your health journey as well. So what's one small change that you can make today to prioritize your health? Drop a note in the comments below.
