I really appreciate you considering this book for your new remodeling or custom home project. Over the past 35 years, I've orchestrated the design and construction of hundreds, maybe even thousands of projects in the Northern California area specifically Silicon Valley area where I was born and raised.

My company RemodelWest Construction, operated a design build business model, which meant I orchestrated, coordinated all of the design and construction for projects. So I was more of a one-stop shop solution for homeowners. I know that just thinking about a project is scary that you just don't know where to start.

So that's what I'm about to tackle with this book it's really a comprehensive guide of knowledge [00:01:00] we'll be talking about how to apply that knowledge throughout the book. The book is broken up into four parts. Part one is discovery. Part two is the world of design.

Part three is the world of construction, and part four is building your team. Part one is all about everything you need to do before you pick up the phone, before you go on the website looking for five star rated contractors or designers. There's some really important information in there that you need to do so that you can empower yourself, but also your design professionals to help you pull it all together.

I also talk a lot about budgeting. And investment goals in there, which is the number one question that everybody always has. The world of design and construction is all about building your knowledge, getting into a designer's head, getting into a contractor's head, understanding how their businesses operate, what are the important [00:02:00] things that you're gonna need to know to deal with them.

Lastly, build Your Team is all about as how to go about finding and assembling all of these people to help you. So it's a comprehensive book I really invite you to, to dive into it. It's the kind of book that you'll probably go back to as you're navigating through the project. That's what I'm hoping for.
