Speaker AI'm talking about sales, something that I know that I've struggled with in different forms over the years.
Speaker AAnd let's be real, sales can feel like a dirty word for many of us in the transformational space.
Speaker AI used to cringe at the thought of selling my coaching and NLP training, and I think I'm here to.
Speaker ATo help, not to push people into buying something they don't want.
Speaker AAll of those limiting beliefs around my worth, is what I'm offering valuable enough?
Speaker AAnd all of the things around self sabotage and imposter syndrome, and maybe you felt that too, you're worried you'll come off as sleazy or that asking for 2 to 3,000 for your program is too much.
Speaker AAnd that resistance is.
Speaker AIsn't just a feeling, it's a mindset block.
Speaker AAnd it's keeping you from the impact you're meant to have in the world.
Speaker AEspecially as this time, as humanity and the world is, are going through so many changes and so many challenges, there are people waiting for you to show up and support them.
Speaker ANow, I've known Connor Healey since 2008 and he's a sales veteran with 21 years plus experience who's worked with thousands of coaches and trainers just like us.
Speaker AAnd Connor's closed over 50% of his cold leads and generated millions in course revenues throughout his sales career.

Speaker AAnd in phase two, it's all about reinforcing the emotional connection.
Speaker AThey start to share their deeper fears and you lift them up, showing them the cost of staying stuck.
Speaker AAgain, you're using questioning and you're listening.
Speaker AAnd by phase three, you're solving their core resistance, like the guilt about investing in themselves, whether their spouse has a say in the matter.
Speaker AAnd Connor's closing ratio jumps to 50% here, even with cold leads.
Speaker ABecause it's all about authenticity and trust.
Speaker ASo what's really holding us back?
Speaker AIt's often fear and limiting beliefs.
Speaker ASo let's unpack a few big ones that I've seen in myself and my community.
Speaker AFirst, there's the fear of selling itself.
Speaker AWe think I'm not good enough or they don't want this or is my product good enough?
Speaker AAnd I used to dim my light, thinking I had to be someone else to close a deal.
Speaker AAnd Conor nails it when he says the prospect won't actualize what the salesperson doesn't believe to be true.
Speaker ASo if you don't believe in your value, if you don't believe in your product, if you don't believe you can really help your potential client, they won't either.
Speaker AAnother big one is focusing on the wrong thing, like the money or what you get out of the sale.
Speaker ANow I've been there thinking about my bills instead of the service and the transformation and the value my client would get.
Speaker ABut soulful sales is all about their new identity, the freedom, the confidence or joy.
Speaker AThey'll gain what they get at the end of working with you.
Speaker ATheir vision of that transformation they're expecting from working with you.
Speaker ASo when you sell from that place.
Speaker AIt's not pushy, it's a gift.
Speaker AThen there's that belief that they don't have the money.
Speaker ASpiler.
Speaker AIt's rarely about the money, it's about their priorities and what they value, or about their fears, like the guilt over investing in themselves.
Speaker AAnd Connor's approach helps you uncover that and reframe it.
Speaker ASo they see your offer as a life changing investment that it is.
Speaker ANow here's the good news.
Speaker AYou can rewrite these beliefs and sell in a way that feels aligned.
Speaker AHere are 10 sneaky mindset traps that are quietly killing your conversions.
Speaker AThe number one we've already mentioned is I'm scared of selling.
Speaker AAnd you know the feeling.
Speaker AYou've got a knot in your stomach every time you sell.
Speaker AIt feels like you're being pushy, that it's slimy.
Speaker AYou don't want to even send out too many emails or too many social media posts because it feels like you're begging and you fear the no, you fear the rejection.
Speaker ANow why is it holding you back?
Speaker AIf you're fearful, it screams doubt.
Speaker AAnd if you don't believe in yourself or your offer, your prospect feels it.
Speaker AI'm sure you've met people who are trying to sell you something and you can just feel there's something off.
Speaker AThey don't believe it themselves.
Speaker AAnd I used to think that 2000, 3000 was too much for my NLP training.
Speaker AAnd you can guess how many sessions I sold.
Speaker AZilch.
Speaker ASo remember, it's not personal.
Speaker AIt's not about you.
Speaker AIt's all about them.
Speaker ASo the shift to make is that selling isn't about convincing, it's about connecting.
Speaker AIt's about believing.
Speaker APeople love to buy.
Speaker AWhen you're offering transformation, when you're offering the solution, when you're offering something unique to you that you absolutely know you can deliver.
Speaker AAnd they really understand that it's exactly what they need right now.
Speaker ASo the next call you're on, focus on their win, not your pitch.
Speaker ANumber two is they don't want what I have.
Speaker ASo the belief is you're secretly sure your prospect doesn't need or wants your help, but somehow you're in this space where you're on a call with them.
Speaker AAnd why is that belief holding you back?
Speaker AIf you don't see your prospect craving your solution or really needing what you have, or you being able to solve that problem for them, then you'll half ass the conversation.
Speaker AYou've got to know they want the change and that you can deliver it.
Speaker ASo the shift is Assuming they're dying for what you offer.
Speaker ABecause they are.
Speaker AAnd ask them what would solving this mean to you?
Speaker AAnd just watch them light up.
Speaker AAnother mistake is to think it's all about the money.
Speaker AAnd we've discussed this one already.
Speaker AIf you're obsessed with the sale, the cash, the win and what you get, then the prospect will smell the desperation.
Speaker AWhen you focus on your bank account and not their transformation, you lose deals.
Speaker AClients buy new identities, they buy freedom, they buy their success, not your invoice.
Speaker ASo to make the shift, flip it.
Speaker ASee the sale as their gateway to a better life.
Speaker ASell change, not the check.
Speaker ASee their transformation, their end result.
Speaker AAnother belief.
Speaker AMoney's a dirty word.
Speaker AYou think 5,000 is too much or they can't afford it.
Speaker AAnd why is that holding you back?
Speaker AMoney baggage blocks their investment.
Speaker AYour money baggage blocks their investment.
Speaker AI used to apologise for my prices.
Speaker AI used to want to discount things almost immediately until I saw clients happily pay.
Speaker AWhen they saw the value, they recognised the worst and I recognized the worth as well.
Speaker AThe shift.
Speaker AMoney is just energy.
Speaker ABelieve they can invest in themselves because they will for the right outcome.
Speaker AIf they don't buy from you, they'll more likely buy from someone else.
Speaker APlus, it's rude to project your limitations onto others.
Speaker AThat's a massive mind ready number five.
Speaker AThe mistake of thinking I can't picture us working together.
Speaker AIf you have a belief that you can't visualize them as your client, you can't see them shaking hands and signing up and thriving, then that's holding you back.
Speaker ABecause if you can't see it, you can't sell it.
Speaker AEarly on, I would blank out mid call and sure they'd even fit.
Speaker ANo wonder they ghosted.
Speaker AIf you can't see your client being the ideal fit, then they won't sign up the shift before the call.
Speaker AImagine them nodding, smiling, saying yes.
Speaker ASee the partnership, know that it's the right fit for them and for you.
Speaker AAnd that's half the battle before you get on the call.
Speaker ANumber six is similar.
Speaker AI'm bringing doubt to the party.
Speaker AIt's a belief of second guessing yourself mid conversation.
Speaker AYour offer, your words, your worth.
Speaker AAnd it's holding you back because doubts are contagious.
Speaker AI've hanked calls with a shaky vibe.
Speaker AProspects feel it and they bolt because they feel the doubt and begin to doubt.
Speaker AThe shift is to walk in certain.
Speaker AYou've got wins in your pocket, you've got certainty in your offer.
Speaker AAct like it and they'll follow your lead.
Speaker ANumber seven is A real interesting one.
Speaker AIt's the one I'm not ready for.
Speaker AMore clients.
Speaker AWhere deep down you feel you're too busy, too stressed, or too anxious to handle another client, even if you've only got one or two, you can hold the belief that you're actually not ready to work with this client.
Speaker ASo why is it holding you back?
Speaker AIf you're not open, you'll push people away.
Speaker AI've sabotaged sales because I was stretched thin.
Speaker AAnd energy doesn't lie.
Speaker ASo if you're coming up with the energy that you can't cope with clients, then that's what they'll pick up on.
Speaker AAnd the shift?
Speaker AGet ready.
Speaker AClear space, calm your mind, know you have the capacity, and believe you're built for more.
Speaker ABecause you are Number eight.
Speaker AWhen you're sitting in, the energy of selling feels wrong.
Speaker AThe belief, you hate selling because it's icky, manipulative, it's beneath you.
Speaker AYou don't want to feel pushy.
Speaker AWhy is that holding you back?
Speaker AThat repulsion repels clients.
Speaker AYou can't attract new clients effortlessly.
Speaker AYou can't work with perfect clients who want to work with you when you're holding that energy.
Speaker AI used to dodge the clothes until I saw it is helping.
Speaker ANot hustling, serving, not sleazy.
Speaker ASo the shift is to reframe it.
Speaker AYou're offering a lifeline.
Speaker AYou're offering transformation, not a sales pitch.
Speaker ALove the process and they'll love you back.
Speaker AIt's a conversation, it's communication.
Speaker AIt's connecting with your perfect clients so that you can both check in and work out whether you're a good fit.
Speaker ANumber nine is holding the thought that they'll figure it out without me.
Speaker AAnd the belief behind that is you think they don't need you, they'll sort it out themselves or find someone else.
Speaker AWhy is this holding you back?
Speaker AUndervaluing your role kills your confidence.
Speaker AI've seen clients flounder without my system and my input, then thrive with it.
Speaker AAnd to believe that someone else knows better when you could be the perfect fit is depriving potential clients of your service.
Speaker AThe shift.
Speaker AYou're their shortcut to success.
Speaker ABelieve your expertise is irreplaceable.
Speaker AIt is.
Speaker AAnd the final one, number 10.
Speaker AI'm not worth the price.
Speaker AThe belief you don't feel worthy of charging.
Speaker A5,000 plus, 3,000 plus.
Speaker AIt's imposter syndrome whispering in your ear.
Speaker AAnd why is it holding you back?
Speaker AIf you don't own your value, if you don't feel your worth, they won't either.
Speaker AI doubted my worth at first and sales reflected it.
Speaker AThe shift.
Speaker ARemember, you're a game changer.
Speaker AOwn it.
Speaker AYour transformation's worth every penny.
Speaker AStart acting like it.
Speaker AWithout your help, more clients will miss out.
Speaker ASo the bottom line, these 10 beliefs, they're silent deal killers.

Speaker ASeeing the transformation, seeing them transformed through working with us as well as seeing the transformation that I know I get each time I work with someone and that brilliant feeling of having served with all my heart.

Speaker AFocus on helping this person, this potential client, with joy, alignment and knowing that it's absolutely perfect that you work with them because you have exactly what they need.
