The real secret to making AI work for you is

Kelly Sinclair:Hello. It has been a minute since I actually got behind the
Kelly Sinclair:mic to record an episode for you the summer strategy snack series
Kelly Sinclair:was all done in a batch at the end of June so that I could have
Kelly Sinclair:more space over the summer to do things like go to the late
Kelly Sinclair:master wake surfing, sorta drink all the rose a definitely, and
Kelly Sinclair:try and keep up with my kids varying schedules every week.
Kelly Sinclair:There was no routine in summer, so I just needed to have as much
Kelly Sinclair:done in advance as possible, and so I did that. But there has
Kelly Sinclair:been a whole lot happening behind the scenes since I last
Kelly Sinclair:kind of came on more in real time and updated you. My
Kelly Sinclair:business has shifted in a major way, and I want to pull the
Kelly Sinclair:curtain back on that and share what's been going on, what I'm
Kelly Sinclair:creating, what I'm focusing on, and honestly, what's about to
Kelly Sinclair:change. And yes, it has everything to do with AI, but
Kelly Sinclair:probably not in the way that you would think. So stick with me,
Kelly Sinclair:because I've got some exciting news, and also a kind of last
Kelly Sinclair:call, kind of invitation. So if you've been thinking about

Kelly Sinclair:Let's start here. This summer, I have been quietly running a beta
Kelly Sinclair:program called visible AF with a handful of clients, and it has
Kelly Sinclair:been so good I've kept it super high touch, super hands on, lots
Kelly Sinclair:of direct access to me, real time coaching. And one of the
Kelly Sinclair:coolest parts is that I'm building custom gpts for them.
Kelly Sinclair:Yeah, AI tools designed just for their businesses to help clarify
Kelly Sinclair:their brand, nail down their ideal clients, and build out
Kelly Sinclair:visibility plans and actually get results. Because what I have
Kelly Sinclair:kind of seen as the biggest opportunity for me is that I can
Kelly Sinclair:bring together now my ability to help shape a custom visibility
Kelly Sinclair:strategy that is tailored directly to an individual based
Kelly Sinclair:on their needs, desires, goals, and also style and strengths and
Kelly Sinclair:the things that their energy is actually aligned with. So we
Kelly Sinclair:build that plan, and then we use AI to support implementing that
Kelly Sinclair:plan. So this is the difference in what I see out there is a lot
Kelly Sinclair:of AI is we're just kind of getting the impression that,
Kelly Sinclair:okay, great, now I can just make more do more things like turn up
Kelly Sinclair:the quantity of stuff. But the real power of AI isn't in just
Kelly Sinclair:making more content. It's in helping you implement what
Kelly Sinclair:matters faster and smarter, and I am loving this work, which is
Kelly Sinclair:why I've made a big decision. As I shift into the fall and start
Kelly Sinclair:focusing more on some AI tool development as the core of my
Kelly Sinclair:business, I've decided that I won't be taking on any more one
Kelly Sinclair:on one clients in 2025 after September 1. So that's like a
Kelly Sinclair:couple weeks. So if you've been thinking about working with me

Kelly Sinclair:Now let's get into how AI has totally transformed the way that
Kelly Sinclair:I do business and why you're going to hear me talking about
Kelly Sinclair:it a lot more from here on out. Let's start with what I'm seeing
Kelly Sinclair:out there. Of course, AI is popping up everywhere. I've been
Kelly Sinclair:doing some workshops and presentations over the summer,
Kelly Sinclair:and even from I've noticed a difference in the room from like
Kelly Sinclair:May through till now in terms of the amount of people who are
Kelly Sinclair:actually starting to use it more regularly. At first it was like
Kelly Sinclair:a third of the room would be in that nope, haven't touched it,
Kelly Sinclair:haven't started dabbling, sort of space. And now more of the
Kelly Sinclair:room is doing more AI, more regularly. It's just become part
Kelly Sinclair:of life. And now we're all realizing, how do we actually
Kelly Sinclair:step up and use this? How do I make this effective for for me
Kelly Sinclair:right now, but there's not enough people saying what I say,
Kelly Sinclair:which is, AI is not going to fix a broken strategy. Like I said.
Kelly Sinclair:It's not about turning out more content, because more posts or
Kelly Sinclair:more emails or more words is not going to help you. If your
Kelly Sinclair:strategy is not on point, you're just spinning your wheels
Kelly Sinclair:faster. Basically, AI is like GPS, right? It can absolutely
Kelly Sinclair:get you there faster, but only if you put the right destination
Kelly Sinclair:in. If you're unclear where you're going, AI is just going
Kelly Sinclair:to get you lost faster, with more to manage. And so that's
Kelly Sinclair:why I focus on the strategic visibility, right? This isn't
Kelly Sinclair:about performative posting just to look busy or consistent.
Kelly Sinclair:Strategic visibility makes means making decision based on ROI,
Kelly Sinclair:not your reaction, not likes, not volume. It means what
Kelly Sinclair:actually leads to trust, relationships and sales. Usually
Kelly Sinclair:it's things like I've talked about on the podcast lots
Kelly Sinclair:before, pitching yourself for podcasts that are aligned,
Kelly Sinclair:following up with past clients, reaching out for collaborations,
Kelly Sinclair:partnerships, exciting things like that, sharing one strong
Kelly Sinclair:message instead of 20 average ones, and then using AI to help
Kelly Sinclair:you get those things done faster. That is where the magic
Kelly Sinclair:happens.
Kelly Sinclair:Over the summer, I continue to do my 10 minute a day
Kelly Sinclair:visibility. I I have some, like, small, little micro movements,
Kelly Sinclair:and then I have big wins. Like, last week, I secured a really
Kelly Sinclair:exciting partnership for an event that I'm hosting in the
Kelly Sinclair:fall, and that was just a result of building relationships,
Kelly Sinclair:showing up, and then being persistent about my request, but
Kelly Sinclair:I use AI to support me in writing that sponsorship slash
Kelly Sinclair:partnership pitch, like, how can I communicate this in a way that
Kelly Sinclair:is going to be a win win for both of us, that really is
Kelly Sinclair:tailored to the person who I'm talking to, and all of those
Kelly Sinclair:kinds of things. That's how you can enhance what you're doing
Kelly Sinclair:with a tool like AI.
Kelly Sinclair:So the second thing that I want you to know is this, the real
Kelly Sinclair:secret to making AI work for you, is teaching it your brand.
Kelly Sinclair:It needs your brain. Basically, AI comes across as generic
Kelly Sinclair:because it doesn't have a lens that it's looking through, and
Kelly Sinclair:you are that lens, so you have to actually articulate what
Kelly Sinclair:perspective you want it to take for you. So stay with me. I'm
Kelly Sinclair:going to explain this. I have created a process called the
Kelly Sinclair:brand calibrator, and this is based on my extensive years as a
Kelly Sinclair:brand strategist, working for big brands, corporate branding,
Kelly Sinclair:and then also what I've always done with clients, which is help
Kelly Sinclair:you to understand what makes you different and how you stand out,
Kelly Sinclair:and what the opportunities are there, and summarizing that into
Kelly Sinclair:a document essentially which the process by which you get there,
Kelly Sinclair:is a very clarifying and enlightening for you to see how
Kelly Sinclair:you stand out, how you're different. It even is auditing
Kelly Sinclair:your existing online presence, and looking at what you're
Kelly Sinclair:already putting out there and comparing that to what you
Kelly Sinclair:actually want, so making sure that there's no inconsistencies
Kelly Sinclair:and all of that kind of stuff, it goes through your ideal
Kelly Sinclair:client in depth. It goes through a personality piece to help you
Kelly Sinclair:bring. In your own style, into your writing, in the way that
Kelly Sinclair:you're showing up and communicating with people. And
Kelly Sinclair:that is the brand calibrator. And this is a tool that has come
Kelly Sinclair:out of the work I've done in with my one on one clients this
Kelly Sinclair:summer. Invisible, AF, it helps you to capture your voice, your
Kelly Sinclair:values, your quirks, your audience, your offers, and it
Kelly Sinclair:makes AI sound like you so that it can help you to sell and
Kelly Sinclair:attract those clients without second guessing every word. And
Kelly Sinclair:that's how you really distinguish between the generic,
Kelly Sinclair:robotic template style AI that comes when you just ask it to do
Kelly Sinclair:something and it doesn't have the context of who you are and
Kelly Sinclair:who you're talking to. This is what levels up that game. And it
Kelly Sinclair:is incredible. I have been having so much fun, and even
Kelly Sinclair:with the update that chat GPT made last week to a new model
Kelly Sinclair:called GPT five, which is basically like chat GPT got a
Kelly Sinclair:brain upgrade. It is intuitive, it's conversational. It's an
Kelly Sinclair:experience. This brand calibrator piece that I've put
Kelly Sinclair:together, and it's going to be part of every single engagement
Kelly Sinclair:that I do with a client moving forward, and it's a critical
Kelly Sinclair:element that you need in order to make your AI really
Kelly Sinclair:customizable, so that you can plan your visibility, write the
Kelly Sinclair:pitches, the emails, onboarding workflows, lead magnets, client
Kelly Sinclair:communications, all of those things. It's how you become a
Kelly Sinclair:strategic partner with AI, how you turn that into a strategic
Kelly Sinclair:partner for you, versus being a content robot.
Kelly Sinclair:So if you are one of those people who's like, I have been
Kelly Sinclair:playing with it, but I can't get it to really, really represent
Kelly Sinclair:me, I've cracked the code on this, and I'm really excited
Kelly Sinclair:about it, and so this is definitely part of what I'll be
Kelly Sinclair:rolling out in the fall, but also part of any more one on one
Kelly Sinclair:clients that I work with for the rest of the year and forever,
Kelly Sinclair:ever. So the last thing I want to say, without, like giving
Kelly Sinclair:away too much of it, I hope you can hear the excitement in my
Kelly Sinclair:voice, because I am just giddy about what is going on and what
Kelly Sinclair:the opportunities are. And also, I think part of that is because
Kelly Sinclair:I'm, like, a little bit surprised at myself that I am in
Kelly Sinclair:this position. I am not, as I have said, I'm sure, in time
Kelly Sinclair:before, an early adopter, an overly techie person, I mean, I
Kelly Sinclair:get stuff I understand, but this is like me being moving into
Kelly Sinclair:being on, like, the leading edge of some technology development,
Kelly Sinclair:and it's a technology that, like just didn't exist before. So the
Kelly Sinclair:best practices are being made now. So we're developing those
Kelly Sinclair:best practices as we go in terms of, how do you actually get AI
Kelly Sinclair:to work for you. What are the parameters that you need to give
Kelly Sinclair:it? How do you prompt it properly, all that stuff and PS,
Kelly Sinclair:just another side note, I guess this is my podcast, so I can
Kelly Sinclair:plug the things I do as much as I want, but I do offer AI power
Kelly Sinclair:hours and like workshops to help you learn how to use this and
Kelly Sinclair:figure out the best ways to integrate AI into your business
Kelly Sinclair:and what you're doing right now, in fact, I will be hosting a

Kelly Sinclair:at all. And I read books more like I read a lot of books, I
Kelly Sinclair:just pick up my my Kindle instead of picking up my phone
Kelly Sinclair:and scrolling Instagram. So it's great, but I'm all about
Kelly Sinclair:teaching this 10 minute a day visibility habit, right? It's
Kelly Sinclair:about doing one intentional thing each day to move yourself
Kelly Sinclair:forward, one email, one message, one follow up, one touch point
Kelly Sinclair:on a relationship. And yes, we can use AI to help make that
Kelly Sinclair:faster. I can write a podcast pitch or a speaking pitch in
Kelly Sinclair:like 510 minutes, and. When it used to take me hours. And I'm
Kelly Sinclair:building the tools to help support people with all of these
Kelly Sinclair:different implementation opportunities, and that's part
Kelly Sinclair:of the next phase of Ks and CO, which is coming soon. So stay

Kelly Sinclair:work, the repeatable stuff, the things that don't need to be
Kelly Sinclair:fully done by a human, or at least the steps that don't
Kelly Sinclair:right, so that you can have a business that fits into your
Kelly Sinclair:life and not the other way around. So whenever you are
Kelly Sinclair:finding yourself doing things repeatedly, can we get a first
Kelly Sinclair:draft done by AI? Can we get, like, these few steps done by
Kelly Sinclair:AI, and then you just look them over with your brain and allow
Kelly Sinclair:you to be in a more strategic thinking position from there?
Kelly Sinclair:Just love it.
