Speaker:

Right now, as you know,

Speaker:

there is a lot of emotional vicissitudes and

Speaker:

volatilities and responses to the coronavirus.

Speaker:

And as a result of it, many of my students have asked me, 'John,

Speaker:

what are we going to do?

Speaker:

What is happening?' There are many people reacting and overreacting in fact.

Speaker:

And in my opinion the media is accentuating this as it typically

Speaker:

does cause it sells sensationalism and tends to gets people even

Speaker:

more riled up and make some more panic and more manic, this kind of thing.

Speaker:

So here's my advice.

Speaker:

If you're in a situation where you're having to stop,

Speaker:

maybe not get to do some of the things you were doing because you're concerned

Speaker:

about who you're hanging out with, where you're going,

Speaker:

what might happen, just know that from what I've taught you,

Speaker:

when you're living congruently with your highest values and

Speaker:

doing what's highest in priority,

Speaker:

that's the greatest thing you can do in your life in general and specifically to

Speaker:

your immune system.

Speaker:

Your immune system is strongest when you're living by your highest values

Speaker:

because you're in a state of eustress, not distress. So no matter what goes on,

Speaker:

instead of reacting and going into your amygdala,

Speaker:

which tends to put stress on your system and run down the immune system,

Speaker:

which then aggravates and creates the fear or aggravates the potential for

Speaker:

health issues, stop, find

Speaker:

out how whatever's happening, the other side of it, because even in the crisis,

Speaker:

there's a blessing, even the challenges there's opportunities,

Speaker:

find out how it's serving.

Speaker:

Find how it's on the way and what you can do and how,

Speaker:

if you all of a sudden have to have changes in your itineraries,

Speaker:

how you can actually use it to your greatest advantage.

Speaker:

And find out how to get back to priority according to the new agenda.

Speaker:

If all of a sudden you're not able to fly and you have something that's changed,

Speaker:

ask 'How specifically is it helping me get what I want, my mission in life,

Speaker:

and then how do I use it to my advantage and what is now the highest priority

Speaker:

thing I could be doing at this moment?'

Speaker:

Because as long as you stick to high priority,

Speaker:

you're going to help build the immune system, going to be more resilient,

Speaker:

more adaptable.

Speaker:

You're less likely to have the sympathetic response which tends to cut down the

Speaker:

immune function and you're more endured.

Speaker:

A lot of the people who are having the side effects and symptoms from this

Speaker:

coronavirus are people who are already weakened in their immune system.

Speaker:

Not all but most of them,

Speaker:

and so it's to our advantage to make sure that we eat wisely,

Speaker:

we sleep a little bit,

Speaker:

make sure we breathe deeply,

Speaker:

make sure we do the things that have proven themselves to maximize our fitness

Speaker:

and our health. Therefore, if we are in a situation,

Speaker:

we're in an inescapable situation where somebody has the virus,

Speaker:

it's going to bypass us and if it does, it's going to have a mild effect anyway.

Speaker:

There are a lot of people, 97% of the people that have the virus,

Speaker:

they don't have any much of symptoms at all or have a mild flu and so that

Speaker:

doesn't mean just because you have it that you have to panic.

Speaker:

It just means that you want to make sure that you maximize your immune system in

Speaker:

case you are around that. To sit and completely isolate yourself,

Speaker:

stop everything you're doing and go into panic and be dwelling on the problem

Speaker:

and actually the drama of that, is not the wisest thing to do.

Speaker:

So just keep asking,

Speaker:

so what's the highest priority thing you can be doing at this moment?

Speaker:

I've had people sometimes even cancel their programs, programs we're doing,

Speaker:

none of mine are canceled that I've done, but people have canceled them.

Speaker:

And before you cancel and just react, stop and wait,

Speaker:

because the next day, a week, two weeks or whatever, three weeks or whatever,

Speaker:

things can change. So don't react to sensational television stuff.

Speaker:

They are selling sensationalism. Let's get to the objective facts.

Speaker:

Anytime you stick to the highest objective facts and read up on it and make sure

Speaker:

you understand it, look at the real stats and look at what's really going on.

Speaker:

Look at the probabilities and be objective about it.

Speaker:

You'll stay in your executive center. You won't go into your amygdala,

Speaker:

you won't go into fight or flight responses and run your immune system down,

Speaker:

so from the coronavirus perspective, prioritize your life.

Speaker:

Find out how things are on the way, not in the way, as I've said before,

Speaker:

ask how whatever challenges and things are,

Speaker:

how do you use it to your greatest advantage.

Speaker:

When you're living by your highest values, your most adaptable,

Speaker:

and when you're not your most emotionally reactive and you fear the loss of that

Speaker:

which you seek and you feel the gain of that what you're trying to avoid,

Speaker:

which just makes it more compounded.

Speaker:

There are a lot of people going into ridiculously overreacting mode over

Speaker:

what's going on in the society today. I mean, I know that they're quarantining.

Speaker:

I know that they're stopping people. If you are in that situation, even sake,

Speaker:

just like Viktor Frankl when he was in the concentration camps,

Speaker:

the one that found meaning, which is the mean, the balanced state,

Speaker:

the objective state, in the situation,

Speaker:

are the people that survived and they're the ones that are going to be to come

Speaker:

out strong. It's the people that go into the emotional reactions,

Speaker:

run down their immune system, get into volatility,

Speaker:

accentuate and exaggerate things that end up running themselves down and running

Speaker:

themselves sick and distracting themselves from their business.

Speaker:

If you're in a situation and your business is affected in any way by what's

Speaker:

going on, then ask 'What's the next highest thing I can do?

Speaker:

What I had planned has been changed.

Speaker:

What's the next highest priority thing I can be doing at this moment?

Speaker:

That helps me fulfill my mission in my career.' If you have relationship

Speaker:

stresses and there's somebody that just doesn't want to go out and you do,

Speaker:

find out how whatever their values are, whatever they think they are,

Speaker:

try to find out how to communicate in those values because they're more

Speaker:

receptive. They're more likely to be in their executive center themselves.

Speaker:

There'll be more adaptive and they're better at communicating.

Speaker:

And any area of your life socially,

Speaker:

if you find out that you're obviously not wise to go out and do certain things

Speaker:

because you found out that two of the friends that you know have coronavirus,

Speaker:

okay,

Speaker:

maybe that's wise not to go and put yourself obviously

Speaker:

but at the same time just know that it's not just the virility of the

Speaker:

virus itself, it's also the immunity of the individual.

Speaker:

Because there's some people that are getting it and they're having no effect at

Speaker:

all, not even any symptoms. They're carriers and they

Speaker:

And you got others that are dying over this.

Speaker:

So there's obviously something distinct in the individual,

Speaker:

not just the virus that's going to do that. There's some factor that is you.

Speaker:

So my advice is to keep yourself into the highest priority thing you can

Speaker:

possibly do. That way you're most resilient and adaptable.

Speaker:

Focus on the highest priority actions you can do each day. If something happens,

Speaker:

adapt,

Speaker:

find out the next highest priority thing you can do in that situation and keep

Speaker:

focused on what's most meaningful to your life. And if nothing else,

Speaker:

this may be the time,

Speaker:

if you've had things cancel or change on you or you have to cancel some of the

Speaker:

things you're doing or you can't travel or whatever it may be,

Speaker:

find out how it's serving you and find out what you can do with that time.

Speaker:

There's bound to be other things you can do with that time,

Speaker:

that's also going to be in the long run,

Speaker:

counterbalancing some of the frustrations that you're facing in the current.

Speaker:

So just know that this will pass, all these things, come and go.

Speaker:

All pandemics, epidemics, they rise, they fall.

Speaker:

I think even the great epidemic we had years ago

Speaker:

lasted six months and so it'll pass through the cold

Speaker:

which is around September, October to around March.

Speaker:

Those are the main Flu seasons in Northern hemisphere the reverse six months in

Speaker:

the Southern hemisphere, they'll pass.

Speaker:

And so the wise thing you can do is to keep yourself eating well,

Speaker:

thinking well, prioritizing your life, read things that are inspirational,

Speaker:

focus on the solution, not the problem.

Speaker:

Dwelling on the problem and dramatizing it and discussing it and talking about

Speaker:

it. And getting emotional about it.

Speaker:

It's only going to run your immune system down and it's going to make you more

Speaker:

vulnerable anyway and you've got other higher priority things to do in life.

Speaker:

So don't sit there and turn on the TV and watch the TV all day and watch all the

Speaker:

drama cause they're sensationalist. Go and do something that fills your mind.

Speaker:

Think of the highest priority thing you could be feeding your brain with,

Speaker:

the highest priority actions you can be doing,

Speaker:

the highest priority people to be hanging out with or communicating with,

Speaker:

the highest priority foods you can be doing,

Speaker:

the highest priority action for your health and use this as a catalyst to do

Speaker:

something extraordinary with your life and use the time if you have extra time

Speaker:

because of it,

Speaker:

to do something amazing with your life because there is no crisis without a

Speaker:

blessing and instead of waiting a day, a week, a month, a year,

Speaker:

or five years later to find out the blessing of something,

Speaker:

I can already see it in people's lives.

Speaker:

And just know that it's going to test people that are not

Speaker:

living by their highest values. Remember I said in almost all my seminars,

Speaker:

your physiology, your psychology, your sociology and your theology,

Speaker:

in this case, sociology is the society itself and even your virology,

Speaker:

all of it is there to help you become authentic. If you live by priority,

Speaker:

the authenticity reveals and the sides outside extrinsically subside.

Speaker:

The world on the outside doesn't have to dictate your destiny.

Speaker:

As I said in the secret,

Speaker:

when the voice and the vision on the inside is louder than all opinions on the

Speaker:

outside you begin to master your life. So take command of your life,

Speaker:

prioritize your life, live in your executive center,

Speaker:

your immune system will rally, it will keep you stable, drink a lot of water,

Speaker:

eat wisely,

Speaker:

do all the things that common sense say get some sunlight cause that gives you

Speaker:

vitamins and helps your immune system,

Speaker:

but just make sure that you're doing something that is priority.

Speaker:

That's the wisest thing I could tell you to do.

Speaker:

But don't sit there and dwell and get dramatized and overreact.

Speaker:

Think before you react, act before you react.

Speaker:

And I just wanted to share that in case you're in a situation where you're just

Speaker:

bombarded by everything in the media, bombarded by people. And by the way,

Speaker:

if you have been listening over the years to my wealth building principles and

Speaker:

you've got the cash reserves,

Speaker:

this is a great time right now for cash investing into cash.

Speaker:

Cash for the crash is a great time. So if there's a crisis,

Speaker:

that's one of the blessings that could be happening right now is it crashes

Speaker:

down. There's wealth to be made. And the same thing when there's time down,

Speaker:

there's information to be cleaned. So ask yourself,

Speaker:

what are the greatest things you can get out of these so-called challenges and

Speaker:

go and use your energy, your time, your resources to the greatest,

Speaker:

highest priority actions possible.

Speaker:

So I just want to tune in and share that with you and I look forward to seeing

Speaker:

you as soon as possible at our next program. And thank you, I love you.
