I'm Cedric and This is your EM Morning Brief for Thursday, March 26, 2026 Wildland Fire Activity remains the primary national operational signal in the most recent National Interagency Coordination Center Incident Management Situation Report.

The report maintains national preparedness level with the southern area at PL3 and summarizes multiple large incidents with structures residences threatened in parts of the south and Southern Plains.

The same IMSR flags several specific large fires and or new large incidents across Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina and Kentucky with a mix of active to minimal fire behavior depending on local fuels and conditions.
