It's a lesson, not a life sentence. We all make mistakes,
Speaker:but we don't have to stay in that place. You
Speaker:are worth transforming your life and releasing past
Speaker:trauma and trapped trauma that have held you back, that have created
Speaker:limiting beliefs. Can you imagine yourself in 10 years time
Speaker:still doing the same shit that you're doing, the same struggle? Do you
Speaker:want to live with the way you have your life now for
Speaker:another 10 years? Welcome to Krystal Rowe Impacts, a
Speaker:space dedicated to empowering you to be the change that
Speaker:your bloodline has been waiting for. Join me and together, let's
Speaker:inspire change. Welcome back
Speaker:to the Krystal Rowe Impact podcast. And today we're going to
Speaker:talk about patience and healing. Now, change doesn't happen
Speaker:overnight and you have to be realistic. I
Speaker:mean, healing is really an
Speaker:ongoing process. It's the long game. It's not
Speaker:instant. It's not going, oh, yeah. that
Speaker:happened, I forgive it or that happened and
Speaker:I'm good. It's really, really a
Speaker:process. And when you understand that
Speaker:it is a journey, a journey of
Speaker:transformation and a journey of healing and
Speaker:a journey of discovering who you truly are,
Speaker:that it really doesn't happen just like that.
Speaker:You have to put in the work. What you put in, you get out. So
Speaker:the more deeper you go, the more you unfold, the
Speaker:more you find, the more layers you begin to peel back.
Speaker:And that takes patience. It takes commitment. It
Speaker:takes intentional choices to choose
Speaker:every day to keep pushing forward, to
Speaker:becoming the better version of yourself isn't waking up
Speaker:and going, yay, I feel great today and yay,
Speaker:this is like amazing. It's actually progress.
Speaker:It's progress that is It
Speaker:is really life changing. Like, I mean, when I think of all the times
Speaker:that I have wanted something and
Speaker:I haven't been patient for it and I give up, I kind
Speaker:of look back now and think if I had stuck to that then, imagine
Speaker:what I could have created or achieved or have right now. It's
Speaker:like trying to save for something. You want to save for
Speaker:a brand new car, but You keep taking
Speaker:little bits and pieces and you're not being patient or diligent
Speaker:with your saving, you're never going to achieve your goal. And
Speaker:it's the same with healing and self-discovery. It's
Speaker:the same with business. If you are not patient, you will
Speaker:not get to your end goal. I want to ask you a
Speaker:question. If you think back 10, 20 years
Speaker:ago, where you were at, what you were
Speaker:doing, and you reflect on now, Have
Speaker:you created the life that you dreamt you
Speaker:would be living? Are you doing the things that
Speaker:you wish you would be doing back then now?
Speaker:Can you imagine yourself in 10 years time still doing
Speaker:the same shit that you're doing, the same struggle, if you're struggling, the
Speaker:same mindset that you have? Do
Speaker:you want to live with the way you have your life now for
Speaker:another 10 years? And if not, then
Speaker:head over to Heritage Impact because there are some amazing programs
Speaker:that we have on offer that will actually transform
Speaker:not only your life, but your children's and
Speaker:the generations to come. Practicing patience through
Speaker:the process of change is actually really
Speaker:challenging. For example, you go
Speaker:and have a meditation down at the beach or
Speaker:you watch the sunrise and you're just feeling great and
Speaker:you're feeling alive and you're feeling ready and
Speaker:you're just, you're pumped to take action
Speaker:for the day. And then you walk in the house and everything's chaos
Speaker:because the kids are crazy and you're just like, what
Speaker:happened? Like, why? And then your your peace just
Speaker:goes out the window. That's happened a
Speaker:few times for me. And it's just like, damn. And then you
Speaker:can start feeling all of these ways that you used
Speaker:to respond or react come up. But
Speaker:you can catch yourself. But if you don't,
Speaker:you've got to keep practicing. It doesn't
Speaker:mean if you're not off and you lose your patience
Speaker:or you lose control or you respond the
Speaker:way you used to respond or you gamble
Speaker:or you drink or you do something that
Speaker:your old self used to do. It doesn't mean that
Speaker:you have to conform back to that way. It just means
Speaker:that you have to Be patient with yourself and
Speaker:understand, have some grace, have some compassion. Because
Speaker:if that was your friend that was trying to better their lives and
Speaker:they told you, oh, I stuffed up or I slipped up, would you
Speaker:prosecute them? Would you judge them? Would
Speaker:you tell them, that's it, you're stuffed. Don't
Speaker:bother changing, don't bother trying. Or would you
Speaker:be like, you know what, that's okay. Try again tomorrow.
Speaker:And that's the beautiful thing about life and journey. We're in the driver's
Speaker:seat. We can control it. You can either drive
Speaker:yourself in the direction of growth. You
Speaker:either park up on the side or you turn around and go back the way that
Speaker:you've always been. But it's your choice.
Speaker:It's really up to you. I'm going to tell you
Speaker:now that you're worth it. You're worth the
Speaker:time and the energy to take a journey of
Speaker:self-discovery. You are worth transforming
Speaker:your life and releasing past trauma and trapped trauma
Speaker:that have held you back and that have created limiting
Speaker:beliefs. You are worth fighting for. You
Speaker:just have to be patient for the end result. You
Speaker:just have to be patient for the person that you are becoming and
Speaker:allow that to come up. Allow your true authentic self
Speaker:to show the world. Just
Speaker:don't be too rushed. Be
Speaker:pressured. Don't put a time on
Speaker:when you have to show up the way that you think
Speaker:is healed. The way that you think transformation should
Speaker:look like. We're all on this journey together. There's
Speaker:no winners, there's no losers. There's no end
Speaker:red ribbon. Like, it's
Speaker:a journey. It's however you want it to be.
Speaker:But take your time, get to know yourself, and
Speaker:forgive yourself when you stuff up. It's a lesson, not
Speaker:a life sentence. We all make mistakes, but
Speaker:we don't have to stay in that place. You
Speaker:can choose, and I suggest you
Speaker:choose you. So I want to leave you with this thought. I
Speaker:want you to take your age and
Speaker:reflect back on a lifetime of
Speaker:behaviors, a lifetime of coping mechanisms,
Speaker:a lifetime of responses, reactions,
Speaker:moments that have created you to become the
Speaker:way that you are. And
Speaker:when you want to heal and transform and
Speaker:become a better version of yourself, sometimes
Speaker:we slip up because you've lived your whole
Speaker:life, say 20, 30, 60, 70 years
Speaker:of being a certain way. For
Speaker:example, if you're an alcoholic and
Speaker:you have lived, say 40 years drinking, to
Speaker:cope with what goes on in your mind. And
Speaker:then one day you say, that's it, I'm done. And
Speaker:you go off in the world and you carry on, you go to work and
Speaker:say the next day you have a really busy day and
Speaker:you're stressed out and you come home and the first thing that you would
Speaker:normally do is have a beer. And
Speaker:so as a default setting, you have a
Speaker:beer. Does that mean that you
Speaker:have failed? No. To
Speaker:some people, maybe. But in the
Speaker:reality and in your journey, you have a choice.
Speaker:You have a choice to try again the next day. And
Speaker:that's the beautiful thing about our journey is
Speaker:that we can revert back
Speaker:to the person that we want to become. Our
Speaker:default setting might pop up all the time. You just have to switch it down. You
Speaker:just have to say no. That's where your patience comes
Speaker:in and learning and understanding who you want to become isn't
Speaker:gonna happen overnight. You might have a whole lifetime. Like
Speaker:I said, you could be addicted to
Speaker:drugs or alcohol or gambling for 20, 30, 40 years.
Speaker:That's not gonna change overnight. But if you actively and
Speaker:intentionally choose to change
Speaker:that, it will change. You
Speaker:just have to be patient and remember that you are worth
Speaker:it. So if you like that podcast or
