Speaker A

Was that your introduction into astrology?

Speaker B

No, I. I was interested in astrology since a kid because I've always been interested in mythology.

Speaker A

What was your start into the astrology?

Speaker A

What was your comic books?

Speaker B

I. I read comic books when I was little, for seven years old, and I read Conan the Barbarian.

Speaker B

In Conan the Barbarian, age of Conan comic book, they talked about astrology.

Speaker B

And then I went and got real astrology books called Walden Bookstores.

Speaker B

Back then I went to the Walden Bookstore, would read real astrology books and mythology books.

Speaker B

I am a comic book writer as well, so those things interest me.

Speaker B

Mythology, the gods, the stories, you know, the parables and the holy books and things of that sort.

Speaker B

The prophets and their stories and the heroes.

Speaker B

That was in those stories.

Speaker B

I was very much interested in whether it be Samson, Hercules or whomever.

Speaker B

So I read a lot.

Speaker B

I read about witchcraft.

Speaker B

I read about anything that do the supernatural or the occult, but I didn't get into it, meaning start to practice anything.

Speaker B

So I was.

Speaker B

After the age.

Speaker A

Can I ask you a question?

Speaker A

Growing up in one of those systems I know we taught to fear.

Speaker A

So how did you get into the occult stuff?

Speaker A

Being into, you know, coming out of

Speaker B

that school of thought, it was comic books.

Speaker B

And then my grandma, oh, I don't like that one that looks like the devil and, you know, throw my comic book away.

Speaker B

And I would get out the trash.

Speaker B

And so it was that, you know, like being a rebellious kid who told me, I can't do it.

Speaker B

I'm gonna do it even more.

Speaker B

And my dad's side was like, oh, that's not proper.

Speaker B

That's not what Muslims do.

Speaker B

Oh, yeah.

Speaker B

As soon as he turn, I was doing so.

Speaker B

It was the rebelliousness within me that kept me driven towards those things.

Speaker B

Energy.

Speaker B

Say again?

Speaker B

Aquarian energy.

Speaker B

I have Oranos or Uranus.

Speaker B

I do have it in Libra, in the stellium with a whole bunch of other planets.

Speaker B

The sun, Mercury and Pluto.

Speaker B

Very nice.

Speaker B

Very interesting.

Speaker B

It does oppose my moon in Aries.

Speaker B

So, you know, when it came to my.

Speaker B

My parental guidance, I did outright rebel against it.

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker A

Was that pointing to your moon?

Speaker A

Yeah.

Speaker B

Yes.

Speaker A

You.

Speaker A

You mentioned.

Speaker A

What was your first branch of astrology that you jumped into around the age of 23?

Speaker B

I got this book called the only astrology book you'll ever need.

Speaker B

Yeah, I got it too.

Speaker B

All right.

Speaker B

And that's what I really got serious with it when I thought, okay, this is a rising sign.

Speaker B

This is a moon sign.

Speaker B

Things I didn't know.

Speaker B

I just knew about my sun sign, which is Libra.

Speaker B

I didn't know about a rising sign and the moon sign, you know, didn't know about, you know, your time of birth.

Speaker B

And back then, they didn't have software programs.

Speaker B

I had to use an ephemeris to try to find my time, you know, my rising sign, which, based on my birth certificate, cancer would have been the ascendant.

Speaker B

And I kept reading it, you know, and I had my girlfriend, I was trying to read her, you know, and my friends and, you know, at the time, I was, like I said, I was heavily into starting to create my own comic books and writing strategy started to influence that.

Speaker B

You know, I started to put some of that stuff into my writing.

Speaker A

Are you an artist of some type?

Speaker B

I'm not a. I'm not a visual artist.

Speaker B

I wish.

Speaker B

I am a literary artist.

Speaker B

I can write anything.

Speaker B

But I prefer to write science fiction, fantasy, and action.

Speaker A

Oh, well, when you said comic book, I thought you might have been like an illustrator.

Speaker B

No, I pay artists to draw my comics.

Speaker B

But I have a comic book right now called Starfall, you know, so you write the story.

Speaker A

Say again?

Speaker A

You write the story.

Speaker B

Just I create the ideas, the characters, and I write the story.

Speaker A

Huh.

Speaker A

Interesting, Interesting.

Speaker A

I have someone that's listening that probably really interest her as well.

Speaker B

Well, yeah, it was funny because I kind of went away from it.

Speaker B

But later, when I became an astrologer, I went back to writing comics because now I actually use astrology to write the comics.

Speaker B

I literally think of an idea and pull the birth time of the chart and write the story according to that chart.

Speaker B

Nice.

Speaker A

Well, in all actuality, isn't that where all the stories come from anyway?

Speaker B

Yes.
