Hi, this is Stephanie Maas, partner with Thinking Ahead Search Firm.
Speaker:In episode 37, I mentioned a quick 30 to 45 second elevator pitch that I might give to a potential client.
Speaker:So here it is, and feel free to customize this for your own situation.
Speaker:So there are three things that our clients appreciate about how we work or what makes us different.
Speaker:Number one, I know it's gonna sound, we call it old fashioned.
Speaker:I don't think it is, but it's what works.
Speaker:We do a direct calling effort.
Speaker:Every search I take on, there'll be between 90 and 110 actual phone calls that we make on your behalf in the market.
Speaker:There'll be a lease, two, sometimes up to five attempts to get them on the phone, plus electronic reach outs for us.
Speaker:Electronic reach outs are going through things like LinkedIn, text, email, et cetera.
Speaker:Second thing is our process.
Speaker:Everybody gets the same process.
Speaker:And just to let you know how good our process is, every search that I take and work.
Speaker:Now, by the way, these are my stats.
Speaker:You gotta figure out yours.
Speaker:I have a one-to-one search assignment to placement.
Speaker:If I say I'm gonna work it, I fill it.
Speaker:Now, some people may say, well, what happens if the client goes on search or on hold?
Speaker:Or if the client stops the search?
Speaker:Well, that's not on me.
Speaker:That's on them.
Speaker:So.
Speaker:If it's active, I'm working.
Speaker:It's a one to one.
Speaker:I have an average of three to five candidates per search.
Speaker:By the way, those candidates are vetted for skillset, interest, and a compensation match.
Speaker:Of those three to five, four out of five get interviewed.
Speaker:60% that are interviewed get invited back to a second interview, which just shows you the quality.
Speaker:Your biggest decision is which one and 90% of the offers that I pre-close and deliver get accepted.
Speaker:Plug and play process.
Speaker:And then the last part is it's a one point of contact.
Speaker:Yes, I have a research team.
Speaker:Yes, I have resources.
Speaker:I may get someone else to help me go locate the right people to call, but it's me delivering your message into the market for my people.
Speaker:That's important.
Speaker:It avoids any confusion and brings a clear, consistent message to the market about what y'all have got going on.
Speaker:And by the way, I'll actually clarify that message with you before it hits the market so you know exactly what I'm saying on your behalf.
Speaker:How does that compare with Affirm you've used in the past?
Speaker:That's it.
Speaker:Hope this helps.
