Unknown:

Hello, and welcome to the Borealis experience. I'm

Unknown:

your host Aurora, life coach and companion on this beautiful

Unknown:

journey called life. I hope you're doing well I hope you

Unknown:

feel good. And if you do not feel all too good, I hope I can

Unknown:

get my message across loving, and inspiring and empowering.

Unknown:

And yeah, lifting up. Today I want to talk about a couple

Unknown:

myths, myths around successful people. I feel it is very

Unknown:

important to talk about it because most of the time, we

Unknown:

think that people who are successful, never go through

Unknown:

pain are born that way, had it easy because of their family,

Unknown:

had money from their family just are a different species a very

Unknown:

different kind of human being than we feel we are. And I love

Unknown:

to bust myths. I love to give you all the tools that you need

Unknown:

to feel successful to feel liberated from old stuff that

Unknown:

doesn't serve you anymore. And to feel yourself strongest

Unknown:

version of yourself. It is a little bit weird to disturb the

Unknown:

record. But yeah, let's

Unknown:

let's dive into this juicy topic.

Unknown:

The first myth I want to attack is the myth that we think that

Unknown:

successful Happy, Healthy People never struggle. They do

Unknown:

struggle, they do struggle a lot, even. The only thing that

Unknown:

is maybe different from our struggles is that they ask for

Unknown:

help. They reach out. They have advisors, they have people that

Unknown:

support them, listen to them, and then

Unknown:

give them advice, make them feel supported and good about

Unknown:

themselves

Unknown:

again, and most of us, I feel or I can just speak for myself. For

Unknown:

the longest time, I thought I have to struggle by myself. It

Unknown:

has to feel hard. Otherwise, I'm not earning deserving success.

Unknown:

And this is totally wrong. I lose so much energy, confidence,

Unknown:

and life force when I'm trying to do it all. As soon as I reach

Unknown:

out as soon as I know that there's people out there who can

Unknown:

do something better than I can do certain things. I feel

Unknown:

supported, I feel we can do this, I feel I can move on,

Unknown:

instead of feeling stuck getting frustrated and wanting to throw

Unknown:

everything into the garbage bin.

Unknown:

So mess number one.

Unknown:

We can do it alone. No. Successful people need advisors,

Unknown:

coaches and support. We cannot do it alone. I never heard of

Unknown:

any success story where the person did it all by themselves.

Unknown:

People struggle, we all struggle. But some people choose

Unknown:

to ask for help. And some people just choose to try to do it by

Unknown:

themselves and sometimes it's just not possible. Myth number

Unknown:

two, success is genetic. You have to be born into a

Unknown:

successful rich family. Otherwise you cannot make it in

Unknown:

this world. This is absolute B S. If you look into it a little

Unknown:

bit deeper, you will find out that the most successful people

Unknown:

came out from adversity, stress, chaos, pain, trauma, and were

Unknown:

able to overcome these extreme obstacles. They were able to see

Unknown:

opportunity in these obstacles and overcoming them by reaching

Unknown:

out by having people close to them that believe in them. Or by

Unknown:

simply knowing that there is no other way than moving forward.

Unknown:

So, my dear, if you feel that success is only reserved for a

Unknown:

special

Unknown:

species of human being, I'm very happy to announce that this is

Unknown:

not the truth. And I really encourage everybody to look up

Unknown:

successful people and their stories and to see how much pain

Unknown:

and suffering they had to go through before they became

Unknown:

successful. The third myth I want to bust today is that in

Unknown:

order to be successful, you need a lot of money. Well, my friend

Unknown:

is also not true. Because again, if you look into it, yes, there

Unknown:

are some people who had money, maybe old family money, and were

Unknown:

able to use it in order to be successful. But there's also

Unknown:

very successful people out there who had absolutely nothing.

Unknown:

Where their families had absolutely nothing, it was post

Unknown:

war, everything was bombarded and destroyed. But they found a

Unknown:

way to become successful. And the trick here is really very

Unknown:

simple. You just need to be connected to the world around

Unknown:

you and clearly see what it is that people need, how you can be

Unknown:

of service to people, or, and find something that is necessary

Unknown:

to get done. But nobody really wants to do it. There's an

Unknown:

example I forgot his name, he started a cleaning business back

Unknown:

then, I think it was in New York, and started cleaning huge

Unknown:

companies at night when everybody was at home sleeping,

Unknown:

watching movies, partying, and started cleaning more and more

Unknown:

buildings and had to start hiring people because he got

Unknown:

more contracts. And so he had built a business, on serving

Unknown:

others and finding an activity, a duty that nobody else wanted

Unknown:

to do. But something that has to get done in order to have a

Unknown:

beautiful running business, a clean workspace is important.

Unknown:

This is what everybody figured. And he had a company with very

Unknown:

reliable, trustworthy janitors, and was, yeah, very successful

Unknown:

with this idea. So find something that brings value to

Unknown:

other people. And you don't have to worry about any, you know,

Unknown:

big investment, money or capital. At the beginning,

Unknown:

people will see your potential, they will feel your energy, they

Unknown:

will see your work, they will see that you do it out of the

Unknown:

goodness of your heart. And that is when money flows, and money

Unknown:

starts building up. And you can use that money to build a

Unknown:

successful life a successful business. Another myth that I

Unknown:

want to bust here is that successful people buy a lot of

Unknown:

things have a lot of things. Now we want to distinguish between

Unknown:

rich people who love to brag with all their goods, their

Unknown:

cars, their jewelry, their awesome vacations, and wealthy

Unknown:

people. Wealthy people are the people who are really rich, who

Unknown:

absolutely have nothing to do with bragging and they like to

Unknown:

stay to themselves and work hard. They make investments they

Unknown:

invest into assets, instead of purchasing consumer goods or

Unknown:

liabilities. So one thing will cost you money and depreciate

Unknown:

over time. And the other thing is gonna make you more money.

Unknown:

So, example here, buying jewelry buying an expensive car And

Unknown:

watch us going out to fancy restaurants. This is all money

Unknown:

that goes into another person's pocket, it goes out of your

Unknown:

wallet into another person's pocket. If you invest in that,

Unknown:

say, a computer, or a dump trailer,

Unknown:

or machinery that you can use to make more money, like get more

Unknown:

work done and less time, less time than you are investing into

Unknown:

an asset, it is going to generate you money, yes, you are

Unknown:

buying something. So money goes out of your pocket, but that's

Unknown:

something is going to help you to generate even more money. So

Unknown:

it is very important to see how you use your money. Are you

Unknown:

using money to consume things? Or are you using money to help

Unknown:

you make more money, there's awesome podcasts and books out

Unknown:

there that can help you when it comes to financial health. All

Unknown:

right, this is what I wanted to talk about today. You have it

Unknown:

inside of you, you have all the resources you need to be

Unknown:

successful, happy and content. It is a matter of and digging

Unknown:

these resources if you don't quite see them right now. And it

Unknown:

is about getting unstuck, liberating you and making you

Unknown:

see the potential that you have living inside of you. This is

Unknown:

what I do as a coach. Once we talk on a free call and the

Unknown:

first 60 minutes, I usually find out pretty quickly what the

Unknown:

person needs. And from there, we just hit it off and find out

Unknown:

what the person is meant to do here on planet earth or if they

Unknown:

found their purpose already, how to be even more successful.

Unknown:

Also, addressing relationships and how to be happy and

Unknown:

fulfilled and so desirable and lovable, that you either attract

Unknown:

the partner into your life that is good for you or that you have

Unknown:

a totally fulfilling relationship that will be

Unknown:

unshakable. All right. I'm gonna leave you on this. always

Unknown:

appreciative of reviews. If you want to leave me a rating here

Unknown:

on Apple podcast or Spotify. That's awesome too. And yeah,

Unknown:

share with family and friends if I was able to bring you value

Unknown:

with lots of love, Aurora. Until next time, bye bye
