00:00:07 Archita: There are moments in life when nothing outside us actually changes, but something inside us clicks, a subtle shift, a deeper noticing, and suddenly the same world feels completely different. In today's

00:00:23 Archita: Aura room, we are exploring that inner shift, the power of awareness and how it becomes the doorway to expansion, alignment and conscious creation. Welcome to all our room, a space where energy, intuition and self awareness come together to create real transformation. Today I am joined by Lucy Potasnik, an energetic, force conscious creator and entrepreneur who has built multiple six and seven figure businesses by living what she teaches. Lucy is known for her high vibe presence, her deep understanding of universal laws, and her passion for helping people rewire their subconscious mind so they can step fully into their potential. Today we are talking about the power of awareness, what it truly means, how it shapes our reality, and how becoming aware changes everything. So, Lucy, welcome to our room. It's an honor to have you here today.

00:01:19 Lucie Ptasznik: I'm so grateful to be here. Thank you. I'm excited to dive into this conversation and offer your listeners as much value as I can possibly pour out.

00:01:30 Archita: Yeah me too. And I am so excited to learn so much from you today. So, Lucy, before we get into the deeper layers, I'm curious when you hear the word awareness, what does it mean to you on a everyday level?

00:01:46 Lucie Ptasznik: On an everyday level? Yes, I think I think awareness in and of itself is such a powerful word because I am a huge proponent of really striving to be the best version of myself every single day. And in order to become the best version of myself, I have to strip away things that don't serve me, whether that's the limiting beliefs or habits or whatever unconscious patterns or programs are running behind the scenes. And in order to do that, I have to become aware of what's not working, what's not serving me, what's holding me back at an unconscious or energetic level. And until I become aware of those things, I can't change anything. So that's why I'm so passionate about working with my clients and empowering them to become aware, to embrace this idea of awareness, meaning, meaning, to become conscious or awaken to, um, the good, the bad, the ugly. And I think it all starts with just being completely transparent, completely vulnerable and totally honest. Honest with yourself and honest with with where you're at, how you're feeling and and really get clear on where you want to go. So that way you can build that bridge from where you're at to where you want to be.

00:03:16 Archita: That's that's such a grounded way to put it. Awareness, uh, not as something abstract, but as how we actually meet ourselves moment to moment. And yeah, that's a great reframing. It also sets the tone for this conversation. It basically means that, um, being aware of not only our surroundings, of not only what's happening around us, but also what is happening inside us. And I think that's that's really important. Absolutely. Um, and Lucy, something I noticed is that people often think awareness is just about being positive or thinking better thoughts. But from your experience, what's the biggest misconception people have about awareness?

00:04:02 Lucie Ptasznik: I agree with you. I don't think that awareness necessarily has anything to do with thinking positive thoughts. And I mean, while I do love positivity and all things happy and bubbly, those are great. Um, at the end of the day, if you want to create lasting, meaningful change in your life, you have to really become attuned to the energy all around you. Meaning conscious, aware, consciously aware of how one environment might make you feel. How how different environments impact you. How different people impact you, how just feeling, engaging other people's energy and how their energy can lift you up, how it can ignite you, how it can inspire you, or how sometimes being around other people, it just drains you. And it sucks the life out of you, and you feel like you can't be the most authentic version of yourself. You feel like you're almost suffocating, um, hiding the true you. And I think whether we're talking about people, places, activities, habits, whatever those things are, maybe it might be a habit, like going to the gym. You go to the gym and you're like, you might not want to go to the gym before you go, but every time you walk out of the gym, you feel empowered. You feel in control. You feel like you're making positive change in your life. And I think it's the awareness of those feelings that allows you to make the committed decision. Oh, this is something that I want to follow through with. This is something that I want to to intentionally do more of. And that's why I think once you combine the power of awareness with the power of living life intentionally, um, through committed decisions, through discipline, your life can look totally different in thirty, sixty, ninety days. Completely different. And that's what I'm here for. I'm here to change people's lives.

00:06:05 Archita: That's that's definitely true. And I. I love that distinction. Awareness. Um, it isn't about bypassing or forcing positivity. It's about seeing clearly without filters. So even if there are negative, um, thoughts, I think awareness means acknowledging them, understanding them better instead of just forcing positive thoughts over it. So yes, definitely.

00:06:33 Lucie Ptasznik: And then to add to what you're saying, I think there's the awareness of like how am I feeling? Like how is this environment, how does this environment make me feel? How does this person make me feel? How does this activity make me feel? Um, but then also really taking the time to ask yourself why? Why does this environment make me feel this way? What is it that this person, this person and this person have in common that make me feel absolutely amazing? And what is it that these people have in common that just bring me down? And so once you understand, like understanding how you're feeling is step one. And then step two is asking yourself how come? Because then once you understand the reason or the why, then you're able to use that information moving forward to propel you in the direction that you want to go into.

00:07:26 Archita: Exactly, exactly. And, you know, um, let's let's stay with that for a moment. What you said, uh, why why do you think so many of us spend years operating without real awareness, uh, of our patterns, beliefs or energy?

00:07:42 Speaker 7: I think that's a great question.

00:07:44 Lucie Ptasznik: Why? Why do we do what we do? Um, I think the first thing that the first thing is that people don't know what they don't know. You don't know, like, if people are so conditioned to feeling a certain way and we're all we all have unconscious patterns, programs and conditions and a lot of these a lot of these programs came from early childhood. So maybe it was the the House household that we grew up in. Maybe it was watching how our father treated our mother. Maybe it was we grew up without a father and we didn't have that father figure. Maybe our mom was a single. There's so many different things that could. Maybe we didn't have parents. Maybe we grew up as an orphan. And so there's all sorts of different programs or patterns. Maybe we grew up as an only child and we were spoiled, and all we know is like unconditional love and but then we forget how to share and, um, and be empathetic. So there's every every person has a different path. And I think that when we. And I think that. We we all have these we all have these unconscious programs and patterns. And I'm so sorry. I'm blanking on the original question. What can you say question one more time.

00:09:04 Archita: I mean, you are right on track. Why do you think so many of us spend years operating without. Yeah.

00:09:10 Lucie Ptasznik: It's because we don't know what we don't know. And a lot of these and a lot of these, um, programs are conditioned to us from such a young age that we don't know any differently. It's what seems normal to us. It's what seems familiar. And so if we've never experienced what a true like in love. Magical fairy tale like fairy tale loving relationship is. We will we'll stay stuck where we're at in a relationship that's unfulfilling or that's whatever. Maybe it's emotionally abusive, maybe it's verbally abusive. Whatever it is, maybe there's just maybe it's just void of all passion. Maybe it's just a friendship at this point, who knows? But that's probably your a lot of us just continue to settle because of fear of the unknown. We're afraid of loss. We're fear. We're afraid of like, oh well, we have this, but it could be this much worse. Instead of looking at what could go wrong and what we could lose, what if we started focusing on what could go right and what we could gain? So I think a lot of people just stay stuck in this, in this hamster wheel of of fear, of the unknown, fear of, of betting on yourself. And also this idea of of comfort and convenience. If it's comfortable and it's convenient. Well, I mean, I'm surviving. You're not thriving, but you're surviving. And that's the thing about the subconscious mind is that our subconscious mind is not there to push us to, you know, step out on a on a leap of faith or, or take scary chances. Our subconscious mind is built to protect us. It wants to keep us safe. And so the the human mind is hard wired to not promote self development and not and not chase our dreams. And so that's why it takes real practice and it takes effort to start to to continually push yourself outside of your comfort zones, to continually take risks on yourself, on your happiness, and to do what's hard on a regular basis. Because until that's conditioned, you're not. You're just going to you're going to stay stuck living a mediocre life. Um, and you're never going to reach that next level of fulfillment.

00:11:36 Archita: That's such an interesting perspective to look at it. I mean, even I agree a lot of it. I think it comes from, um, a lot of conditioning, um, as a child and. Yeah, I mean, uh, the we have to do a lot of, um, unlearning before we reach that level of, uh, awareness. And that really lands, you know how conditioning quietly runs the show until awareness steps in and turns the light on? So definitely. But, Lucy, when awareness isn't perfect, isn't present. I mean, how does that tend to show up in people's life, in their business, in their relationships or self-worth?

00:12:18 Lucie Ptasznik: It's I would say that the most common characteristic of someone who's living life unconsciously or unaware as somebody who's habitually complaining, somebody who's habitually blaming, somebody who's chronically unhappy with the circumstances of their life and they don't know how to get up under, like up from underneath it. They don't know what the answer is because they're it's almost like they're living life with blinders on. And they're not being they're not willing to open their eyes or step back and, and become the observer of their life. Um, that's why I'm a huge proponent of meditation, because it kind of allows you to take a step back and become the observer, become the observer of your thoughts. And then once you start realizing that the thoughts that I'm I am not the thoughts that I'm thinking, that voice in my head, that voice in my head is not me. I'm the observer of that voice. And I can begin to control that voice. And once you begin to to to change the narrative in your head, you begin to change your story. And as soon as you change your story, you literally change your life. I love advocating the fact that you're the powerful, magnificent creator of your own life, that you are the the author of your story. And without awareness, we're just living life on autopilot, being ruled by our emotions or outside circumstances or things that are completely out of our control. So it's a very disempowering way to live when everything feels like life is happening to me and I'm a victim. And why me? Why now? As opposed to stepping into the driver's seat of your life and saying like, no, like I am. Like I'm taking radical responsibility. Responsibility of my life, of my thoughts, of my words, of my emotions, of my reactions. How I'm showing up, how I'm responding. How I'm perceiving every everyday interactions. And I'm going to be better. I'm going to do better. And I'm not a perfect human being now. I haven't been in the past, but I can take steps every single day to become more aware, to operate with a higher level of consciousness. So that way I can show up as the next best version of myself every single day.

00:14:43 Archita: That is so powerful. And it's also so fascinating how something like awareness plays such an important role in all of our lives in every day, even in the smallest of things. And I think it really only takes one small step to begin towards that, um, you know, path to awareness. And no matter how small it is, I think, uh, it's the first step that matters. And it's powerful, uh, hearing how awareness doesn't just change outcomes, but it changes how we experience everything along the way. So you have framed it perfectly. Uh, so, Lucy, for someone listening who feels stuck or out of alignment. What's a simple but meaningful way that they can start building awareness without overwhelming themselves?

00:15:34 Speaker 7: Yeah, absolutely.

00:15:35 Lucie Ptasznik: I have. So I teach my clients, I give them a whole toolbox of different practical strategies that they can start implementing in their life today that will begin to shine the light of awareness. As you said on their life. Um, I think the first thing is meditation. Um, when I started, when I personally started meditating, it changed my life. Um, friends of mine, family, members of mine, clients of mine that have begun, that have began a meditation practice have experienced incredible results. Um, it's almost like if, you know, we live in a vibrational universe where thoughts become things. If you know that like the the caliber of your life is defined by the caliber of your thoughts, if you want a higher quality life, you have to begin to think higher quality thoughts. Well, how often do you think about what you're thinking about? Not very often, right? Most people at least. And so meditation is kind of a really awesome tool that allows you to quiet your mind, because I don't know if your viewers might know this or not, but ninety percent of the thoughts that we think on a daily basis are all negative. Ninety percent of the thoughts that we think are negative, and ninety percent of the thoughts that we think today are the exact same thoughts that we're going to think tomorrow and the day after and the day after and the day after. So if you want to create real, meaningful life in your real, meaningful change in your life, you have to begin to take back control of the thoughts that you're thinking. Or else you're just going to continue to spiral in this negative loop of of of chaos and misfortunes, because those are the thoughts that you're thinking. And that's the level of that. That's like the energetic level that you're operating at. So Meditation is really cool because it allows you to quiet your mind. So instead of thinking ninety percent of negative thoughts, now you're not thinking any thoughts at all. And then with a quiet mind, you can focus on your breath and you can relax into the moment. And you can practice mindfulness. You can practice being present in the moment. And then I don't know what's going to happen, whether it's five or ten or 30s in a thought is going to show up. I guarantee you, I can promise you a thought will show up whether that's, oh, shoot, I gotta go to the bathroom or oh, I forgot to take the garbage out or oh, I got to pick my kid up from school or whatever thing. And then instead of falling down that rabbit hole of, oh, and then I gotta go grocery shopping, and then I gotta pick my kid up from the bus stop, and, oh, I wonder if my husband picked this up from the store and oh my gosh, the car is still at the shop. Well, even if you fall down that down that path of of thoughts, it's kind of like noticing that you're thinking those thoughts and being like, oh wait, I'm thinking again. And in the recognition of or in the realization or in the awareness of oh wait, I'm thinking a thought and then returning back to your breath. It's like you stop that. You stop the momentum of those thoughts, and you get to relax into the moment and just be present with yourself, present with your breath. And what that does is that conditions you like. The more you practice meditation, the more you practice feelings of peace, feelings of bliss, of worthiness, of joy, of happiness, and whatever we're most familiar with, we move towards. So if you're most familiar with reactivity and chaos and confusion and heartache and overwhelm and frustration, you're unconsciously you're going to move towards those things. However, if you begin to spend more time in meditation and you begin to practice like if you, for a lot of people forgot what peacefulness feels like, they forgot what bliss and joy and harmony and love like they forget what these high vibrational feelings feel like because they're not spending enough time in them. Well, when you gift yourself ten minutes a day, you get to remember what those feelings truly are. And then the most powerful piece of meditation comes when you're out in your day to day life, and all of a sudden something happens. Whether someone cuts you off in traffic or you get a phone call from your boss with bad news or whatever negative circumstance is going to cross your path. Instead of reacting to it, how you've always done in the past and getting all worked up or frustrated or angry or overwhelmed, noticing, becoming aware in that moment that you're operating out of alignment, that you're no longer feeling the peace and the joy and the bliss that you're used to feeling or you're accustomed to feeling, or maybe that you enjoy feeling during your meditation, and then you get to choose, how do I want to show up? How do I want to respond to this outside event? Because life is ten percent about what happens and ninety percent about how we respond to it, and when we can consciously choose how we're showing up to outside circumstances in our life. That is the moment that we become the conscious, deliberate creator of our own reality and outside circumstances release their control upon us and we get to live fulfilled, at peace and in love.

00:20:49 Archita: That is such a great advice. And I loved how you said life is, um, less about, uh, you know, the ten percent of what life is, only ten percent of what's happening and ninety percent of how we respond to it. And that is so important. It also makes us realize how important, uh, our reactions to things are. And meditation is a great way to start for beginners because it feels so accessible and, um, awareness as a daily relationship. Um, not another thing to just get right. So I think that's a great place to start and this conversation has truly been amazing. Um, Lucy, I have learned so much from you today. I am sure our listeners have as well. So, um, you know, for listeners who feel like they have been trying to change their life but keep hitting the same walls. What's one question they could gently ask themselves today to deepen their awareness?

00:21:51 Lucie Ptasznik: When do I feel the most alive? What brings me the most joy? What if I just followed my excitement? And then when you follow the path of least resistance, the path of most fun, the path of your highest excitement, when you follow that energy, good things will follow. I promise.

00:22:17 Archita: That's that's really important. And I also want to go back to how you said, you know, to keep asking yourself, Herself. Why is it making? Why is this thing making me feel this way? Because I think it's also very important to keep asking yourself the why. Uh, so. Yeah. Definitely. Uh, because awareness isn't about fixing who you are. It's about seeing yourself clearly enough to choose differently. So, Lucy, this conversation has been such an energetic transmission. Where can our listeners find you and continue learning from your work?

00:22:54 Lucie Ptasznik: Yeah. Um, so my one of I have a Facebook page and it's a free Facebook community page. It's called Transformation Nation. And every Friday morning at ten thirty a m eastern, which is going to be, let's see here, ten thirty eleven thirty twelve thirty one thirty twelve thirty it's going to be like nine thirty your time. So it's going to be in the evening if you happen to be in India. Um, but ten thirty a m Eastern time. I do a little gratitude meditation and so kind of like I, I tell everybody, take ten minutes every single morning and spend time in quiet meditation. A lot of people don't know where to start, don't know how to start. They feel like I'm not. You know, I don't live in the Tibetan, Tibetan mountains. Um, and I, I don't know, I'm not a monk. I can't do it. I've tried, I've failed. I my it's not for me. Well, sometimes all you need is a teacher to guide you, and I don't charge for this at all. Um, I just do it because I ask myself, how can I serve and how can I give back? And every Friday morning at ten thirty a m Eastern in Transformation Nation, its Facebook page, um, I go live and it's basically like a rampage of appreciation where I just, I name all like all of the different miracles, big and small, that surround us, that we take for granted. And it kind of just like it puts you in a place of total receivership, a place of total gratitude and appreciation. So if you want to follow me there or, um, Lucy comm is my, uh, is my website. If you are looking for any sort of speaking, coaching or training, um, I'm very accessible. Uh, on Lucy. Com and that's Lucy. I e l y n.com.

00:24:46 Archita: Perfect. So I'll have all the details on my show listing so that our listeners can feel free to reach out to you whenever they want. To our listeners, thank you for spending this time with us in the room. If something in today's conversation resonated. Let it land not as pressure to change, but as an invitation to notice because awareness doesn't demand anything from you. It simply opens the door. Until next time, stay present, stay curious, and keep honoring your energy.
