Speaker A

If you are building your business solo right now and you are wearing all the hats and it feels like you're maxed out but still behind, today's short and sweet episode is for you, because here's the truth.

Speaker A

You don't need more hustle.

Speaker A

You don't need more planners.

Speaker A

You need a different way of operating.

Speaker A

So today, I'm going to give you three tactical shifts that helped me stop spinning and start scaling, even without a team.

Speaker A

So.

Speaker A

So y' all know I love a short and sweet episode.

Speaker A

We're gonna dive right into it.

Speaker A

Tip number one, design your day like a CEO, not an employee.

Speaker A

I'm gonna say this as gently as I can, but you are not just here to do tasks.

Speaker A

You are here to make moves.

Speaker A

So if you feel like you are stuck in the to do list loop, where you have great ideas and you have vision and you want to move forward, and you know that if you can just get crystal clear, you totally can.

Speaker A

This is what you to ask yourself.

Speaker A

I want you to say, what is my role today?

Speaker A

Am I the CEO today?

Speaker A

Am I the content creator today?

Speaker A

Am I the brand strategist today?

Speaker A

Am I the customer experience coordinator today?

Speaker A

And then I want you to time block around that role, not around the task.

Speaker A

So if you are in CE mode, CEO mode, you're going to time block around that role.

Speaker A

You're no longer going to time block around what is on your to do list, on your action list.

Speaker A

You're going to time block around the hat that you need to wear that specific day.

Speaker A

Now, I, trust me, I get it.

Speaker A

A thousand things come in at once.

Speaker A

You might not be able to time block an entire day, but two or three hours out of your day time block and say, okay, this is my CEO time.

Speaker A

Like, I am big picture.

Speaker A

I am big decisions.

Speaker A

I am moving the needle.

Speaker A

Okay?

Speaker A

These two or three hours, I am content creator.

Speaker A

I am diving in.

Speaker A

I am speaking specifically to my audience.

Speaker A

I am working on content.

Speaker A

I am thinking about content strategy.

Speaker A

Okay?

Speaker A

This day, I am dedicating these hours to client delivery, to product development, to whatever it is.

Speaker A

Time block around your role, not around the task.

Speaker A

Because if you time block around the task.

Speaker A

You are constantly going to be running in loops, running in circles, putting out fires, being reactive instead of being proactive.

Speaker A

So give every day a job description.

Speaker A

If one day is strategy, if one day is marketing, if one day is decisions, if one day is admin, protect it like your business depends on it.

Speaker A

Because it truly does.

Speaker A

Tip number two, stop building for now and start building for capacity.

Speaker A

If your systems only work when you're in the perfect mood, when you got the kids to school on time, when the weather is great, when you're full of energy, then your systems are broken.

Speaker A

You need a way to capture ideas when your brain is fried.

Speaker A

A clear action system that works even on your worst days, and a repeatable rhythm that you can scale later.

Speaker A

So every time you implement a system, implement a new routine, add something to your business.

Speaker A

I want you to think about your future capacity and I want you to build from that point.

Speaker A

So I want you to think.

Speaker A

Okay, on my worst days, it's raining, the kids were five minutes late to school, I couldn't find my keys, there's a fire in the business.

Speaker A

And, and also I didn't sleep well last night.

Speaker A

Create a system for that day.

Speaker A

And then also something else that you can do is create a system today that your future team could plug into.

Speaker A

So that is something that I'm doing now is every time I sit down and create a system, I actually have a systems playbook that I am creating for my business specifically, and I am writing it for my future team so that when I hire someone, there is no question what their job is.

Speaker A

There is no question what their role is.

Speaker A

There is no question as to the way that the company expects it to be done.

Speaker A

I'll be able to hand them that playbook and they'll be able to add their own flair to it.

Speaker A

I can hand it to them with full trust and full conviction that they're going to take it and run forward with it.

Speaker A

So even if it's just you now, I want you to build like you're not staying small.

Speaker A

I want you to get in that mindset of thinking bigger.

Speaker A

Okay?

Speaker A

Tip number three, make execution easier than avoidance.

Speaker A

Burnout is going to happen when your brain is making too many decisions.

Speaker A

Success happens when you don't have to think.

Speaker A

You just get to follow the system that you've already designed.

Speaker A

So this is something that I really enjoy doing.

Speaker A

I love to pre decide everything that slows me down.

Speaker A

So my workflow, my weekly structure, something else that I love to do is pre deciding what done looks like for certain tasks.

Speaker A

Because I don't know if you're like me, but I tend to get a little perfectionist about stuff and if I am not careful I will spend way more time on a task or a project or something that probably should have taken me about 15 minutes.

Speaker A

I'll spend more time on it than I need to.

Speaker A

And so pre deciding what done is has helped me so much.

Speaker A

I'm like, okay, when I get to XYZ point then I'm done.

Speaker A

Yes, I could probably, you know, do this different or I could probably stretch it this way or I could think a little bit bigger.

Speaker A

But if I get stuck in something that is not income producing, it's not good for my business.

Speaker A

It's also not good for me.

Speaker A

And so this is going to help you follow through more than you avoid.

Speaker A

It's going to be a win win situation for you.

Speaker A

So just a reminder, you don't need a team to scale.

Speaker A

You need a system that honors your energy, your genius and all of your big ambitious goals.

Speaker A

You're not failing, you are just scaling currently without support.

Speaker A

And that is exactly what I'm here for you to do.

Speaker A

I am really fired about this.

Speaker A

I feel like I'm finally fine tuning my messaging around systems and I feel like I'm being called to help women who are, you know, in the same boat as I am where we are scaling solo.

Speaker A
