Welcome to goa.
Speaker AState of the second podcast.
Speaker AMy name is John and today we're joined with Cameron from psa.
Speaker AWe tried to get jamin but damn.
Speaker BBro, are you gonna do me like that right off the stop?
Speaker ADamn.
Speaker ANo.
Speaker AWe appreciate you bringing on, brother.
Speaker ASo go ahead, let the people know who you are.
Speaker BYeah, so my name's Cameron.
Speaker BI've been with Palmetto State Armory for going on nine years now.
Speaker BI started there as a compliance manager in manufacturing and I worked my way up.
Speaker BI was doing compliance for a while and then I did our corporate compliance type role where I was over all of our FFLs.
Speaker BAnd so, you know, we have, I think like something stupid, like 35 different FFLs in the company now.
Speaker CRight?
Speaker BBecause between all of our locations that we have.
Speaker BBut I did compliance for a while and then I moved on from compliance and did quality control for two years.
Speaker BAnd then after doing quality control for two years, I worked my way up into manufacturing manager.
Speaker BSo I was kind of like the plant manager over our manufacturing facility and then got promoted to brand manager.
Speaker BAnd then now I am the director of branding and product management.
Speaker BSo I'm over all of our product lines.
Speaker BWe do the product requirements, business cases.
Speaker BWe're seeing what's going on out in the market, trying to see what we need to work on, work a long time with our engineers and hang out with those guys and work with them.
Speaker BAnd then I also am over our branding, so I'm over our content.
Speaker BI do our social media.
Speaker BYou know, I kind of have my hands in a lot of.
Speaker BOf everything.
Speaker AHe's kind of a famous dude, right?
Speaker BGoing to be honest.
Speaker AListen, we see him all the time on the psa, Instagram.
Speaker AFamous dude.
Speaker BWell, I appreciate the kind words.
Speaker AWell, part of that being the brand manager, you have sponsored the podcast this year and so I'm going to pull this up.
Speaker AThis is an example of the gifts from Palmetto and AAC that will be given to everybody.
Speaker ANow this is season two, episode one.
Speaker ASo you guys are the first 100% people on and I appreciate this.
Speaker AThis is huge.
Speaker BYeah, no problem.
Speaker BI mean, we, you know, obviously we're a big supporter of goa, man.
Speaker BI mean, we do a lot together.
Speaker BYou know, we love the save.
Speaker BThe second we all listen to it, everyone talks about it.
Speaker BSo, you know, it was the least we can do.
Speaker BWe love being able to support you guys.
Speaker BYou know, we do a lot of stuff for you and we, you know, we do a lot of shows together.
Speaker BYou know, got the good relationship there.
Speaker BSo it was the least we can do, man.
Speaker BWe're excited to be a part of it this year.
Speaker AWell, I'm glad that you.
Speaker AYou chose to stick with us after crazy people yelled at you at Goals, but we're good.
Speaker BListen, that was the only show I've ever been to that we've ever had any issues.
Speaker BAnd of course, it was the GOA show.
Speaker BOf course.
Speaker AListen, it was only for like five minutes.
Speaker BFive minutes.
Speaker AOkay.
Speaker AWe got to take it.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker ANo, but you guys were fantastic.
Speaker AThank you again for being echoals.
Speaker AWe had Jamon on the industry, technology and innovation panel we've had.
Speaker AYou were running around like a crazy person.
Speaker AIt was a fantastic show and we appreciate the support and the what you guys do.
Speaker AA lot of people may not know that PSA has sued a lot and has sued with us on a ton of things.
Speaker AAnd I couldn't be more excited to have you guys as a sponsor of the podcast and our partnership just continue to grow.
Speaker AThey also offer a donation to us at checkout, so Roundup.
Speaker AYou know, you guys have been one of the largest supporters of us and I can't thank you enough.
Speaker BYeah, of course, man.
Speaker BI mean, we see you guys put your money where your mouth is.
Speaker CRight?
Speaker BAnd the least we can do is, you know, be there to support you guys.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BAnd that's why we're trying to be with you guys on the forefront of going back and, and getting our rights back, man.
Speaker BI mean, that's what it's about.
Speaker CRight?
Speaker BYou know, so it's good to be a part of GOA on that front.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker AAnd we got this.
Speaker ACool.
Speaker AThis is cool.
Speaker AExcited about this?
Speaker BYeah, man.
Speaker ASo I'm going to take this off the table so we can talk.
Speaker AAnd we're going to go into our first segment, which is Rapid Fire questions.
Speaker ALet's go.
Speaker ARapid Fire Questions is brought to you by Blackout Coffee.
Speaker ACheck out goa no Compromise roast on our website as well as blackout coffee.
Speaker AGet your caffeine kick from blackout coffee.
Speaker AIt'll make you scream freedom.
Speaker BCaliber coffee makes you scream freedom too.
Speaker AI know.
Speaker AI got to read the ads, brother.
Speaker ASo we're going to go.
Speaker AFive questions I'm going to ask you give your off the cuff answer.
Speaker ASo first thing, pineapple and pizza.
Speaker BAbsolutely not.
Speaker BSo I'm a pizza snob.
Speaker BOkay.
Speaker BSo, like, you're going to have to let me go on a rant here.
Speaker BOkay.
Speaker BSo I'm originally from outside of Philadelphia and Pennsylvania and I moved to South Carolina in 2010.
Speaker BIt took me 10 years to find good pizza and I am a pizza snob.
Speaker BPizza should have three ingredients on it.
Speaker BOkay.
Speaker BCheese, marinara and pepperoni.
Speaker BThat's it.
Speaker BYou don't do nothing else.
Speaker BPineapple on pizza is absolutely an atrocity to pizza.
Speaker BIt's not allowed.
Speaker BNot allowed in my house.
Speaker AAll right, so new PSA series.
Speaker ACameron's going to go around to every piece of joint in the country and try it.
Speaker AKind of like day.
Speaker BI'm down, I'm down.
Speaker AOne bite, one bite.
Speaker AEverybody knows the rules.
Speaker AI'm with you on that.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker AHow about pizza snob?
Speaker BPizza snob.
Speaker BDude.
Speaker AGotta find really good pizza.
Speaker B100.
Speaker BGotta be good cheese too.
Speaker BYes, I want that good cheese good.
Speaker AOh yeah.
Speaker BAnd I want it thin.
Speaker BI want it thin.
Speaker BI want to, I want it hard.
Speaker BI want it crispy when I fold it.
Speaker BI don't want no flop.
Speaker BGive me that crispy pizza.
Speaker BA little burnt.
Speaker BI'm good.
Speaker AYou know, I think PSA needs to call Dave and get a partnership.
Speaker ALet's go.
Speaker BYeah, let's go get it in the cafeteria at work so I can get some pizza.
Speaker ATop three guns for zombies.
Speaker BOh man.
Speaker BProbably a saw.
Speaker AOkay.
Speaker BGive me a Barrett.
Speaker BGive me a Barrett.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker BAnd give me my saber.
Speaker BThat's all I need.
Speaker AThere you go.
Speaker BGive me my saber ar.
Speaker BThat's all I need.
Speaker AThat, those are, those are good.
Speaker BYeah, that's long range.
Speaker BMow them down with the saw.
Speaker BThen you got your everyday close combat freaking zombie killer saber rifle.
Speaker AThat's.
Speaker AI love it.
Speaker DYeah.
Speaker AAll right.
Speaker AWhat's your edc?
Speaker BA micro dagger.
Speaker BNow?
Speaker BYeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker BI love the micro dagger, man.
Speaker BI love carrying the micro dagger.
Speaker BIt's, it's really, you know, having 15 rounds in that, in that size of a gun is a difference maker, right?
Speaker BWe're actually working on like a plus, a plus 5 mag extension right now for it too.
Speaker BSo you'll have like 20 rounds in a micro gun.
Speaker BLike what else do you need?
Speaker BAnd it's not like add in a lot with the plus 5 mag extension.
Speaker BSo.
Speaker BBut 15 rounds and in a micro sized gun that's comfortable to wear and you don't have to worry about it.
Speaker BI mean, I wear skinny jeans, bro, so like I can't be having big guns on me because I wear my, my jeans tight.
Speaker BOkay.
Speaker BSo I need to have a micro sized gun on me.
Speaker AYou know, like room for air.
Speaker BNo, no, no.
Speaker ATight, tight.
Speaker AAll right, on, on that topic, what's your go to home defense?
Speaker BSo you know, I, I go back and forth on this, right?
Speaker BSo in, in my, in my closet I have my 11 1/2 inch saber.
Speaker BAnd you know, right next to me I got my handgun.
Speaker BBut then I also have a shotgun in my closet down my hallway.
Speaker BSo like, you know, I kind of got it spaced out in my house.
Speaker BAnd like I kind of told my wife, I'm like, listen, I'm like, you got to be careful because like, you know, I might need that.
Speaker BSo like you the furthest distance away, right.
Speaker BAnd try and clear the house.
Speaker BSo I got three guns laid out throughout the house where I need them.
Speaker BAnd then obviously if I can get to my basement, I'm ready to rock.
Speaker BSo there you go.
Speaker ANo, I'm with you.
Speaker AI've got.
Speaker ATold my wife the same thing.
Speaker AShe's like, why?
Speaker AShe was, she was doing something the one day, she's like, why is this here?
Speaker AYou never know.
Speaker BYeah, you never know.
Speaker BYou just never know.
Speaker BI mean, you know, now like, you know, like I have them in different places, like hiding up high, low, you know, wherever I need to the quickest I can get to it.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BBut it's all about getting to my basement.
Speaker BThat's like my mission is to get to my basement.
Speaker AListen, you don't know fear until you hear a weird knock in the middle of night while on the toilet.
Speaker AYou don't know fear, you know.
Speaker DYeah.
Speaker BDon't break into my house at night.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BYou know, because I don't want to be on the toilet and have to fight you with my pants around my ankles.
Speaker AHad to happen one time.
Speaker ASomebody knocked that I started with my old apartment.
Speaker AI used to keep something behind the toilet tank.
Speaker BReally?
Speaker ASomebody pounded at the door at 3am or else on the toilet to get delivered daylights out of it.
Speaker BYeah, I bet.
Speaker BJust.
Speaker BWell, good thing you're on the toilet at the time.
Speaker BRight?
Speaker AWell, that is rapid fire.
Speaker AQuestions again.
Speaker ABlackout coffee.
Speaker ACheck them out.
Speaker AThe Goa.
Speaker ANo compromise blend.
Speaker AAlso check out caliber coffee.
Speaker AGood stuff.
Speaker AThere you go.
Speaker AGot to.
Speaker BI have a rapid fire question for you.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker BAre you an eggnog guy?
Speaker AYes and no.
Speaker ALike I will drink eggnog at the holiday time, but it's not something I enjoy.
Speaker BListen, so there was like we were tagged on Twitter for this eggnog debate that's going on on Twitter.
Speaker BAnd everyone's like, what's Palmetto State Armory stance on eggnog, right?
Speaker BWell, I gave my stance.
Speaker BIt wasn't necessarily the stance upon metal state army, but I gave my stance and eggnog sucks, dude.
Speaker BIf it was good, you would drink it all year round.
Speaker BIt's only around one month a Year.
Speaker BThat means it's terrible.
Speaker BOkay.
Speaker BAnd now there's, like, this whole drama about eggnog on Twitter, and everyone's your.
Speaker BAre you pro nog or anti nog?
Speaker BWhich one is it?
Speaker AAre you.
Speaker AAre you boozy nog or regular nog?
Speaker BOh, yeah.
Speaker BI mean, you got to put.
Speaker BYou got to put bourbon in it.
Speaker BI mean, you got to put bourbon in it if you're going to drink it.
Speaker BBut, like, I'd rather just drink bourbon.
Speaker AMix it good.
Speaker BI'd rather just drink bourbon.
Speaker BI don't want milky bourbon.
Speaker BI want bourbon.
Speaker AYes.
Speaker AThank you.
Speaker AListen, I'm a bourbon snob.
Speaker BAre you?
Speaker AYes.
Speaker AI have at least 120 bottles, really, of different brands.
Speaker BSo my brother's the same way.
Speaker BHe actually goes up to Blanton's twice a year and does barrel picks and gets two barrels of blatans and bottles it and brings it back with him.
Speaker BAnd he goes up.
Speaker BHe's like.
Speaker BHe swears by it.
Speaker BSo I got, like, blatant salt throughout my house.
Speaker BI just never drink it.
Speaker AOh, you're missing out, my friend.
Speaker BI.
Speaker ASo I am.
Speaker AI am, like, bourbon snob to the.
Speaker AAnd it wasn't even my fault.
Speaker AMy friend got me.
Speaker AHe's got, like, 400 bottles.
Speaker BOh, yeah.
Speaker AHe got me into it.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker BThat's a lot.
Speaker AI was just like, every time we go, so, oh, that looks interesting.
Speaker ALet's try that and then go home.
Speaker AGarbage.
Speaker BTry another one.
Speaker AYes.
Speaker AA bourbon and cigar snob is what.
Speaker AWhat I am.
Speaker BThat's awesome.
Speaker ASo it's awesome.
Speaker AWell, let's get into the meat and potatoes.
Speaker AYou work at psa.
Speaker DYep.
Speaker AWe know that you have really had your hand in a lot of the products lately.
Speaker AAnd the big thing that I appreciate about you guys and I think a lot of the other content creators and other people in the industry are appreciating how open you're being right now.
Speaker ANobody does that.
Speaker DYeah.
Speaker AEveryone's like, and I got.
Speaker AFor years.
Speaker AAnd I'm gonna bash you a little.
Speaker AFor years, it was like, PSA came out with something at shot, and then it would never go anywhere.
Speaker AYou're being very, very open and honest, and that is a breath of fresh air.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker BSo one of the things that, you know, I wanted to start doing.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BAnd we started doing it, like, at the end of last year.
Speaker BOne of the things that I want to start doing is just, like, involving more of our customer base.
Speaker BRight.
Speaker BSo, like, we have, you know, very passionate people on both sides of the aisle for psa.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BThere's People that hate us, there's people that love us, right?
Speaker BAnd we've accepted, right?
Speaker BAnd we're not.
Speaker BWe're not for everybody, and that's okay, right?
Speaker BBut one thing that I wanted to do, you know, I don't want to say I.
Speaker BIt's.
Speaker BWe.
Speaker BWe wanted to do was just be more open, right?
Speaker BAnd that's why we did at Shot show this year.
Speaker BWe were like, okay, we know what happened with the MP5 debacle from five years ago, right?
Speaker BAnd we wanted to bring that to the market.
Speaker BBut when we got close to trying to get it to the market, it just.
Speaker BWe couldn't get it at the price point we wanted it to be at, and we knew we couldn't.
Speaker BWe didn't want to come in around the same price point as what everybody else was doing, right?
Speaker BLike, at that point, we're not providing the value that PSA is known for to the customer, right?
Speaker BSo, like, this year, we were like, okay, well, we're taking a lot of prototypes.
Speaker BWhy don't we just let people vote on it, right?
Speaker BAnd that's what we did this year for Shot show was, is we spun up a video about it.
Speaker BWe talked about the specs of every gun.
Speaker BWe had QR codes at Shot show, and then we had the poll on our website for people to go on our website and vote on what their favorite guns were.
Speaker BAnd we basically were like, hey, you tell us what you want, right?
Speaker BWe want, like, all these guns are prototypes.
Speaker BWe want to do all of them, but we can't do all of them, right?
Speaker BSo tell us what you want.
Speaker BWe're going to prioritize those.
Speaker BAnd that's what we did this year.
Speaker BAnd we started.
Speaker BThat was kind of like the first snowball to start rolling down the hill for us this year.
Speaker BAnd then after we did that, we went and did the mini series where it was like, hey, we want to be an open book for people.
Speaker BWe want people to see what we do, how we do things, why we do things a certain way.
Speaker BBecause, you know, you came to visit us.
Speaker BWe're unique in a sense, with how fast we can react to the market.
Speaker BYou know, everything's in one building.
Speaker BWe make 95 of our guns internally, right?
Speaker BSo we can flip a switch.
Speaker BYou know, we make everything from the raw forgings all the way to the complete gun, right?
Speaker BSo it's like, hey, we need to switch over from AR15 forgings to 308 forgings, because that's what's selling right now, right?
Speaker BOr oh, it's about to be hunting season.
Speaker BThe 308 sales are upticking.
Speaker BOkay, let's flip it over.
Speaker BRight.
Speaker BWell, within two days, we can increase our quantity of whatever we need to build, get it anodized in house and get it right to the floor and start building it.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BAnd so, you know, we wanted to show people how we're set up and how we're unique because we're direct to consumer.
Speaker BWe don't have a, a middleman that we sell to a distribution model and then they disperse it out to whoever.
Speaker BYou could come right to our website and buy it from us.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BAnd so we are just continuously feeding into the open book idea.
Speaker BYou know, we do product updates like once or twice a month on some of the guns from Shot show or some of the stuff that we've been working on that we've been talking about to keep people engaged.
Speaker CRight?
Speaker BWe want people to know, like, real expectations, like once this gun coming out.
Speaker BWell, hey, this is the prototype.
Speaker BWe changed this.
Speaker BWe talked about, hey, you guys commented on the last video and said, I want to see it with this instead of that.
Speaker BWell, we made that change and we're listening, right?
Speaker BYou know, one of the downfalls that I have is that I literally read every comment and I can't, like, I can't stop.
Speaker BIt's just, it's just who I am, right?
Speaker BAnd so like the last thing I do before I go to bed every night is, is I go on YouTube and I type in Palmetto State Armory and I hit sort from the most recent uploaded, right?
Speaker BAnd I watch every video that says Palmetto State Armory every night before I go to bed, right?
Speaker BAnd then the first thing I do in the morning is I get up and I go on Reddit.
Speaker BGod forbid, Reddit, but I go on Reddit first thing in the morning to see what's going on there, right?
Speaker BBut I want to know what the customers are saying and take that information back to, to the, to, to us and be like, hey, they're really talking about doing this.
Speaker BLike, you know, we should do that there.
Speaker BThat's what they want.
Speaker BLet's listen to them and we make the change.
Speaker BYou know, and so that's what's unique about us, is that we, we actually care.
Speaker BWe, we want to hear the feedback and then we react to the feedback.
Speaker AYeah, we, we went to your facility.
Speaker AWe did the tour.
Speaker AI think my biggest thing, I remember this, I looked at you and my.
Speaker AWe're walking by the anodizer and I go, are those Buffer tubes sitting there, you're like.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker AI'm like, nobody makes their own buffer tubes.
Speaker ABecause we do.
Speaker DYep.
Speaker DYep.
Speaker BImpact extruded.
Speaker AAnd that's insane because you guys are making, like you said, 95 of the parts in house.
Speaker ANobody's doing it.
Speaker BYeah, yeah.
Speaker AEverybody.
Speaker AAnd sorry again.
Speaker AI've done this a couple times.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker AFourth wall break.
Speaker ANobody makes their own.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker AMost people don't make their own stuff.
Speaker BThere's a lot of assembly companies out there right now.
Speaker BThey do make stuff to, like, their print or their thing and they have good QC and they check the stuff.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BBut, like, we actually make it.
Speaker BAnd so, you know, the only stuff we don't make is, you know, some hammers and triggers and some springs and detents and stuff like that.
Speaker BI mean, there's no need for us to.
Speaker BTo make those off the shelf parts like that that, you know, there's good companies like Schmid Tool, who makes a great hammer and trigger.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BAnd like 95% of the industry uses them.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BWe.
Speaker BWe do a lot of stuff with KK Industries for, like, you know, sometimes we get buffers from them if we can't make enough.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BLike, there's things like our springs, like the buffer springs.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BThere's people out there that specialize in that.
Speaker BWe let them specialize in that while we make all the other stuff, you know.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker AAnd that's.
Speaker AThat's the key.
Speaker AI mean, again, we.
Speaker AWe've talked about this off camera and we talked about with Jam, it's like Covid really changed the industry.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker AAnd the ab.
Speaker AThe ability to react was hard because a lot of times you.
Speaker AYou react, you're ordering it from a Schmidt or Faxon or something, and you're ordering these parts.
Speaker AWell, you're not the only one ordering 100.
Speaker AAll those parts.
Speaker AAnd now you can't control your own destiny.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker AYour own destiny.
Speaker ABut.
Speaker ABut you guys have taken the.
Speaker AAn opposite approach and go, we're controlling everything.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker BAnd I mean, I think Covid, like, really was like an eye opener.
Speaker BI was running the manufacturing floor at the time of COVID and like, we were building 3500 uppers a day during COVID And we would come in the next day and they would all be gone.
Speaker BIt was the most insane thing.
Speaker BIt was so disheartening every day because you're like, hell, yeah, we had a great day.
Speaker BWe built three 500 uppers last night.
Speaker BWe're gonna have, like, all this stuff in stock.
Speaker BWe're gonna be all caught up.
Speaker BWe're good, next day it's all gone.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BAnd so, but when you're building that much volume, you have to have it internally.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BBecause you can't have an anodizer sitting there holding your parts because now you're like all your whip is at the anodizer.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BAnd that's what we kind of saw.
Speaker BSo we put our own anodizing line in and we make the uppers five minutes from the, you know, the assembly building.
Speaker BAnd they bring them over on a truck, you know, couple hour, you know, every couple hours they're bringing over more pallets of uppers and they go, they get bead blasted, they get tumbled and then they go right in the anodizing tank.
Speaker BAnd as soon as they come out, they're black.
Speaker BThey go right to the floor and be built.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BAnd so we're able to control our own destiny by doing that.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BAnd that kind of, I think, sets us a little bit apart from other people.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker AAnd that's the, that's the key there, is what sets you guys apart.
Speaker AAnd a lot of people look at it like, well, Palmetto is getting too big for themselves.
Speaker DYeah.
Speaker ABut you're, you're controlling.
Speaker AThat's what you have to do as a business.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker AYou have to vertically integrate and get the parts and control the parts.
Speaker DYep.
Speaker ABecause if you don't, okay, let's just say you, the dagger, you get a bad batch of barrels, that's upwards of a thousand barrels, you're down for what, another six to eight weeks possibly.
Speaker DYep, yep.
Speaker DYeah.
Speaker BI mean, you have to be able to control your own destiny.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BAnd when you control your own destiny, you know, it's good.
Speaker BIt's also sometimes painful.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BBecause you are your own supplier at that point.
Speaker BRight.
Speaker BSo if there is something bad, you're.
Speaker BYou're dealing with it internally.
Speaker BRight.
Speaker BWhich then you grow from that.
Speaker BAnd, and you know, we're not perfect.
Speaker BWe don't claim to be perfect.
Speaker BBy no means.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BWe're always growing, we're always doing better.
Speaker BWe're always like trying to put our best foot forward.
Speaker BI mean, I don't know of another firearms company in the world or.
Speaker BWell, I don't say the world.
Speaker BThe us that literally sits there every morning and reviews every repair that came in the day before with the senior management team.
Speaker BThe senior management team.
Speaker BEvery morning at 9:00 in the morning, we all meet.
Speaker BWe talk about production, we talk about issue, we talk about parts, whatever.
Speaker BWe review every single repair that comes in every morning that day.
Speaker BAnd look at, oh, do we have an issue?
Speaker BDo we need to, like, is this like an assembly problem?
Speaker BIs this like, you know, a training the customer problem?
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BWhat do we need to do?
Speaker BAnd we react to that every single day.
Speaker BAnd, like, so a lot of the content that we do, you know, people might not digest it.
Speaker BLike, we just put out a video yesterday that was about concentricity.
Speaker BHow do you check concentricity?
Speaker BWell, a lot of our customers don't know how to do that.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BAnd so to, you know, the people that are, you know, been in the industry or, you know, been into guns for a long time.
Speaker BYeah, they know.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BWell, we're just trying to educate everybody.
Speaker BLike, we're trying to be open to everybody.
Speaker BYou know, we're welcoming everybody.
Speaker BYou want to buy a gun, we want to teach you, we want to make sure you use it, we want to make sure you train with it, you know, and all that stuff.
Speaker BAnd so a part of that is, you know, educating them on how to check concentricity.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BAnd so we, we, we do that every day.
Speaker BSo.
Speaker BBut yeah, I mean, we're, we're very passionate about our day to day.
Speaker BYou know, we don't, you know, we always look at the future, but we never lose track of what's happening today.
Speaker AWell, and that's, that's a big thing, being able to meet, you know, working for a manufacturer.
Speaker AIn the past, it would be.
Speaker ACustomer service would get like 10 and they'd be like, hey, I keep getting this.
Speaker ASame thing, same thing.
Speaker AOkay, cool, we'll figure it out.
Speaker AAnd then it goes down the line.
Speaker AGoes down the line.
Speaker AEventually it goes, well, this is a problem.
Speaker BYes.
Speaker ASomebody on the Internet saying it's a problem.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker ADoing that just every day.
Speaker BEvery day.
Speaker AThat's.
Speaker AThat's amazing.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker AI was gonna say insane, but it's amazing.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker BSo we do that every day.
Speaker BAnd then, you know, I mean, I'm on the social media side and we have all of our Facebook groups.
Speaker BGroups and all.
Speaker BLike, I helped manage that.
Speaker BLike, I was talking to a customer last night at 9:00, right?
Speaker BBecause, like, they were trying to figure out how to put a Stock on their AK, they SBR their new 300 blackout crank, and they didn't know how to put the stock on.
Speaker BAnd I'm walking them through it at 9:00 at night, trying to help them out.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BAnd I have an entire team of people that work for me that help manage our Facebook groups, our Reddits, or, you know, our checking comments on the Instagram, answering people back and forth just to.
Speaker BJust to be there.
Speaker BLike we care, you know, we.
Speaker BYou know, we're not just talking the talk or walking the walk on a daily basis.
Speaker AOh, I've seen it.
Speaker AMatt.
Speaker AMatt from psa.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker BWe actually allowed him to move on, to do something else now.
Speaker BSo.
Speaker BSo now I hired somebody to replace him.
Speaker ABut, yeah, we see it from my side.
Speaker AI see it all the time of seeing you guys.
Speaker AThe.
Speaker AThe.
Speaker ANot only the growth, but the attention to the detail and attention.
Speaker AThe customer has gone tenfold.
Speaker DYep.
Speaker AAnd that's unlike any other company nobody wants.
Speaker AEverybody likes hamburger or hot dogs, but nobody wants to see how they're made.
Speaker BCorrect.
Speaker AYou guys are pulling back the curtain, going, listen, here's what we do.
Speaker DYep.
Speaker AThis is how we do it.
Speaker AThis is why we do it.
Speaker AAnd I think the customer.
Speaker AThe customer.
Speaker AI know the customers are responding, but I.
Speaker AI'm hoping that the rest of the industry takes it and goes, hey, quit hiding behind closed doors if there's something wrong.
Speaker ALike, like the other.
Speaker AThis is why I'm really applaud you guys.
Speaker AThe other.
Speaker AYou're doing all these Updates and the STG44 is a big topic.
Speaker AYou came out and you're like, we're gonna be honest.
Speaker AIt's just.
Speaker AWe can't get it to work right now.
Speaker AWe're gonna.
Speaker AWe're gonna shelve it.
Speaker DYep.
Speaker AWell, there's a chance it'll come back.
Speaker AWe'll let you know when it's coming back.
Speaker ABut right now it's shell.
Speaker DYep.
Speaker BYeah, that was.
Speaker BThat was painful for me.
Speaker BRight.
Speaker BTo do that.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BIt wasn't easy to go up there, but I felt like we owed our customers the truth and that, you know, not to get too far into the weeds on the stg.
Speaker BIt's just, you know, we.
Speaker BWhen we acquired that project from somebody else, we thought it was further along than it was.
Speaker BAnd the amount of engineering resources that were going into getting it to run correctly and fixing it and redoing some things, the juice just wasn't worth the squeeze right now.
Speaker BSo it's not.
Speaker BWe're never going to do it.
Speaker BIt's just, hey, we got a lot of these other projects that you guys voted high up on the list at shot show.
Speaker BWe want to get those to market because we feel those are more important to the firearms industry as a whole than the STG44 right now.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker AAnd that's.
Speaker AThat's a big.
Speaker AIt's one of those things as a.
Speaker AIs working for a company you spend a lot of time in the engineering and the development thing.
Speaker AYou invest a lot of money and you're sitting there and you're like, this has got to go out.
Speaker AAnd then we see this constantly.
Speaker AAnd this is my biggest complaint about the industry, which why I'm so happy you're doing opposite is you'll come up with the industry, will come out with a product at shop.
Speaker AHey, new product.
Speaker A12 months later you might get an update or something.
Speaker AYou guys have been so transparent that as a consumer, from the consumer side it's like cool.
Speaker AAnd that I'm, I'm hoping that's helped with your comments too.
Speaker B100 it's set, it's set in realistic expectations is the biggest thing that I look at.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BSo we announced the X57 at Shot show of this year and it was the number one voted gun that we had.
Speaker BRight.
Speaker BWell, I just this since shot show, I've probably done five updates on that gun to let people know where it is.
Speaker BAnd at the end of every video, I always say this is still a Q2 of 20, 25 gun.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BI don't want people thinking it's coming.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BBecause on, on the manufacturing side, anything that's injection molding, that's like a 38 to 50 week lead time to get because you're got to do the tooling, you got to dial in the grooming.
Speaker BYou got to make sure that the first part's off the machine are right.
Speaker BThen you have a redo loop.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BAll that stuff takes time.
Speaker BAnd so my, you know, my goal this year was just to let the customers know realistically, like we know you voted on this number one and some people are like, well, why isn't it out yet?
Speaker BWell, because it takes that long to get a injection molded part or gun like through the entire process to get it to the market.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BAnd so like we might come out with a different gun that was ranked lower on the, on the list.
Speaker BBut it's not because we're not working on it.
Speaker BJust takes time.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BAnd so communicating that to the customer is important for us.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker ALike what is it?
Speaker AThe 570.
Speaker BYes.
Speaker BThe shotgun.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker AThat takes less time than getting all the other parts put together.
Speaker BYep.
Speaker BAnd, and, and that gun from the feedback we got from you know, the shot show, from NRA show, GOA show, like all the feedback we got, all the comments we got, we made some drastic changes to that gun since.
Speaker BSo like this year at shot show, when that gun comes back to shot show, it's going to look slightly different.
Speaker BAnd I feel like a lot of people are going to be happy when they see that gun.
Speaker AI'm excited.
Speaker BYeah, it's, it's going to be awesome.
Speaker AI'm just excited for everything you guys have come out with.
Speaker AJust, you're killing it.
Speaker AYou're hitting the market strong.
Speaker BYep.
Speaker AYou've gotten all these categories and things like that.
Speaker AAnd we were talking before the show about all the, you know, all that stuff, but just seeing the growth, seeing the Saber line come out, seeing the, the Micro Dagger come out, seeing all those things come out and you guys being so transparent and going, listen, here, here's the Micro Dagger for example.
Speaker AIt launched.
Speaker AImmediately sold out.
Speaker DYep.
Speaker AHey, by the way, guys, the next drops at 4pm this day.
Speaker DYep.
Speaker ACool.
Speaker AGet on there.
Speaker AImmediately sold out.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker ABy the way.
Speaker AAnd be that transparency and letting people know.
Speaker AIt's unheard, first off.
Speaker AUnheard of.
Speaker AYeah, it's, it's refreshing.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker BAnd we're, and we're trying to do a better job on our product launches of having more inventory.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BBecause like, you know, when we launched the Microdagger or the Saber, some of the Saber products this year, right.
Speaker BLike they sell out so fast, like it almost breaks the website.
Speaker BLike people can't check out because the website's broken because, because there's so much traffic on a section of the website that it won't allow them to check out.
Speaker BSo we're trying to do a much better job this year of like having more inventory available so that way it doesn't sell out.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BWe'll never going to have enough on certain guns.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BYou know, especially like the big, fast moving guns.
Speaker BWe'll never have enough available to build like when people want to buy it.
Speaker BBut it's not going to sell out in 30 seconds, hopefully.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BYou know, that's the goal.
Speaker BRight.
Speaker AWell, I'm just, I'm just happy I can't say enough nice things for you about the company, about everything about you guys have done for us.
Speaker AAnd just seeing the immense growth, I mean, you guys grew fast to begin with, but the immense growth over the last two, three years.
Speaker DYep.
Speaker AHas just been insane.
Speaker AAnd the quality that's coming out and the, the, the misnomers and the things that people have been saying that you've, you've debunked.
Speaker DYep.
Speaker AIt's just refreshing.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker BSo we, you know, I've been there for almost nine years to like, you know, we're not the same company as we were five years ago.
Speaker BWe're not the Same companies we were two years ago.
Speaker BWe're not the same companies we were six months ago.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BWe're.
Speaker BWe're always trying to be better.
Speaker BAnd, you know, I think some of the stuff we talked about, you know, kind of reflects on how we're getting better, Right?
Speaker BBut, you know, we're getting some really good talent.
Speaker BLike, we got some really good talent on our team.
Speaker BYou know, our entire engineering staff is.
Speaker BThey've been in the industry for a while and worked at some pretty, pretty, you know, high places, and now they're with us.
Speaker BAnd, you know, the nice thing about Paul Medicine, army, and why I love it so much is that, like, you're able to, like, have an opinion, right?
Speaker BYou know, sometimes, like, other corporations or other companies you might work for, you know, you might have an idea, and they're like, yeah, yeah, whatever, right?
Speaker BLike here, like, you know, I'm like, I'll text.
Speaker BLike, me Jamin Tom, you know, some of the other guys, like, we'll text all the time, like on weekends.
Speaker BLike, like, hey, look at this gun.
Speaker BLike, I really like the way this looks.
Speaker BLike, what do you think if we changed it like this?
Speaker BYou know, we're always, like, you know, coming up with something.
Speaker BWe're always having something in the pipe like, that we're talking about, and it's always welcoming.
Speaker BAnd no one's ever, like, shut down to have an opinion.
Speaker BAnd I think that embodies just like, how Jamin and Julian and Ed are, like, they want input from everybody because that's how we get better as a company.
Speaker AThat is also cool to hear that they're taking that input.
Speaker AWell, we are at the halfway point, which brings up to our next segment, which is from the Soapbox.
Speaker AThis is where we talk politics.
Speaker DYep.
Speaker AAny big frustrations?
Speaker AAnything you want to talk about from the Soapbox is brought to you by Patriot Mobile.
Speaker AUse code GOA for one month free.
Speaker AWith Patriot Mobile.
Speaker AIt is a pro Freedom wireless company using multiple networks as the big carriers have, even to the ability to change what network you're on wherever you're at.
Speaker ASo use code GOA at checkout for one month free.
Speaker ASo from the Soapbox, Cameron, go ahead.
Speaker AAnd what's your spicy take?
Speaker AYou're from the Soapbox.
Speaker AYou want to give up?
Speaker BI mean, I kind of got two.
Speaker BGo for it.
Speaker BNo, I mean, I think.
Speaker BI think as the industry goes forward, especially now that, you know, Trump got reelected and, you know, the House and the Senate are all Republican, I think now more than ever, it's.
Speaker BIt's a high Tides raise all shit mentality needs to be had in the firearms industry.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BYou know, I know in the past there's been some, like, you know, little digs back and forth between other companies and stuff like that, but I think right now, you know, we need to all come together, right?
Speaker BYou know, and we were talking earlier is like, you know, now's the time where we make change, like real change with some of these gun laws and some of the regulations that are out there.
Speaker BAnd, you know, I.
Speaker BYou can't do it if you're divided.
Speaker BAnd so, you know, I think one thing that we try to focus on and especially on our side is it's.
Speaker BIs that our website is our most powerful thing that we have, right?
Speaker BAnd it's powerful because we don't only just sell Palmetto State army products, we sell everybody's products, right?
Speaker BAnd we're adding brands every single day.
Speaker BAnd we want to make our website welcoming to every brand out there, right?
Speaker BIf you're in the firearms industry or, you know, you're in the outdoor industry and you got a really cool product and people want it, like, let us know, like, hit us up, like, let's get it on our website.
Speaker BLet's move some stuff, right?
Speaker BAnd so, you know, we used to be known as, like, kind of like a clearinghouse for some of our, you know, friends in the industry.
Speaker BLike, you know, hey, like, I need to move some inventory, you know, and that's how we got the daily deals and all that stuff.
Speaker BNow I think it's more so, like, we're starting to, like, more people are coming to our website and buying, like, non PSA products because we just have that big of a variety, right?
Speaker BAnd so it kind of just goes back to that mindset, though, of, like, we want to be welcoming, we want people to bring together.
Speaker BWe, we want people to focus on buying firearms and training with them.
Speaker BLike, I don't want people to buy a firearm and put it in their safe.
Speaker BI want people to buy a firearm and I want them to train with it.
Speaker BI want them to know how to use it.
Speaker BI want them to feel comfortable using it, right?
Speaker BAnd I, I, you know, having the mindset of, like, if somebody doesn't know something, we shouldn't make fun of them, we should help them, we should educate them, right?
Speaker BAnd, and that's what, like, our focus is at Palmetto State Armory, especially going into 2025, is, is we want people to be comfortable and we want people of all types to be welcome into the firearms industry, no matter where you come from what your color, your skin is, where you're from, whatever.
Speaker BWe want you to be welcome into the firearms industry and we want to help you get better and feel comfortable using a firearm because we believe that it's one of the best rights that we have in this country.
Speaker BAnd so I think, you know, you know, not to be on a soapbox this whole time, but I think kind of the point that I'm trying to make is, is, you know, we want people to be able to own firearms.
Speaker BWe want people to use the firearms.
Speaker BWe want people to train with the firearms and feel comfortable around using the firearms and not have this divisive, you know, elitist mentality out there.
Speaker AWell, I couldn't agree more.
Speaker AFirst off, and we're like I said before the show and we were talking, I've said it live, I've said it again.
Speaker AI'm going to say we have one year.
Speaker AYep, one year.
Speaker AAnd everyone's like, well, the Senate's for two years.
Speaker ANo, we have one year because that second year is all reelection.
Speaker DYep.
Speaker AWe have one year to get together to put pressure.
Speaker AWe as a society and as a, as a culture have had the mentality for the last and we're seeing it shift.
Speaker ABut before the this election we had the mentality of all right, we won, we're good.
Speaker AWhy, why is nothing changing?
Speaker AWhy didn't they not change anything?
Speaker AHold up, what's going on?
Speaker ANo, now is the time to put pressure on those elected officials.
Speaker AThey made large promises.
Speaker AGo in, make sure you're putting pressure.
Speaker AGo to Goa's website.
Speaker AIt takes 30 seconds to write your senator, Congressman.
Speaker AYou can put it in by your zip code.
Speaker AThere's a pre form letter.
Speaker AJust go in and do it.
Speaker ANow it's the time that also and you brought up and I'm bounce off of you is as an industry we need to come together and not push.
Speaker AI mean we're going to, we're going to see it.
Speaker AWe already know.
Speaker DYep.
Speaker AWe historically we've, we talked about it the last during this election and in inner circles.
Speaker AThe Trump song.
Speaker DYep, yep.
Speaker BNo, I was just going to touch base on.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker AAnd now's the time to work together, come up with co branded marketing material, come up with stuff and push and drive because that's the only way we're.
Speaker BGoing to thrive 100%.
Speaker BNo, I mean I agree.
Speaker BI think you know, obviously we saw it last time Trump was elected.
Speaker BThe Trump slump.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BNo one was prepared for that.
Speaker BAnd I think this, you know, going forward, I think if you're not innovating or doing something unique, you're not going to survive.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BAnd I think that's why, you know, Jam and every, you know, every day is constantly pushing like, innovate, innovate, innovate.
Speaker BLike, right, let's hire more engineers, let's hire more R and D, let's hire more stuff.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BWe want to keep going.
Speaker BWe want to keep, you know, pushing the needle forward because of that mentality.
Speaker BAnd so.
Speaker BBut to your point, like you, there has to be like a cohesiveness out there in the firearms industry again to make some real change.
Speaker BYou know, I mean, you know, now I think is the best opportunity for us to go after the Hughes amendment and the NFA and really make a change in those two.
Speaker BYou know, I know Jamin is super passionate about the Hughes amendment and the NFA as well.
Speaker BYou know, and so, you know, I think there's some things that we can do to make a difference there.
Speaker BAnd you know, obviously along with GOA and some of our other friends like Frack and other, and other of our sister friends that are on this together, I think we're going to try and make some change this year.
Speaker BI really believe that.
Speaker BRight.
Speaker BAnd I think if more people got involved and were passionate about it, like we can make even better change.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker AAnd we've got bills sitting in the House, in the Senate right now, the Shush act in the Hearing Suppression or Hearing Safe Act.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker AThey'Re there.
Speaker CYep.
Speaker ANow is the time to go.
Speaker AWe want, let's get suppressors.
Speaker AAnd from once we get suppressors it's just a waterfall of let's go after this.
Speaker AAnd personally I think, I think with the number of pistol based firearms that out there and the proof that SBR laws are dumber than dumb.
Speaker DYeah.
Speaker BBecause 15.9 inch barrel makes it worse than a 16 inch.
Speaker AOh yeah, it's more, it's more hit a hideable.
Speaker BWhat are you talking about?
Speaker AI'm hoping we get, oh, I'm hoping we get suppressors off the books.
Speaker ASBRs, SBS just keep pushing.
Speaker AI mean listen, Canada has SBSs, why can't we.
Speaker BYeah, no 100.
Speaker BI think, I think there's a real chance and I, I truly believe this.
Speaker BI, you know, obviously the, the Shush act and the, the Hearing Protection act, that's one thing.
Speaker BBut I think there's a real chance that we can make a change where you can at least just get your suppressor over the counter.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BAnd, and like you might still have to do your fingerprints and all that stuff.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BBut, like, I think that there's a way that we can get where you go in, you, you do your $200 tax stamp, you do your digital fingerprints, you submit everything, they run the background check immediately.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BThey run it right then and there and you come back approved, everything gets submitted, and you walk out your suppressor.
Speaker BI think that there is a chance for that to happen.
Speaker BYou know, I think that the, you know, I'd love for the Hearing Protection act or the shift.
Speaker BYou know, I would love for that, but I think there's a better chance for people to get it over the counter that way.
Speaker BJust because there's not really like a, a, you know, a law or a legal sense a part of, of the timing wise.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker ANo, I, I agree.
Speaker AI want, I'm really hoping.
Speaker AI think we can get over the counter suppressors if it's, if it's off the NFA or through just a standard 44, 73 or whatever way.
Speaker AI really think that that is going to be a big push.
Speaker AWe'll see if we get.
Speaker AAnd this is coming out and wherever I believe early February, right before shot, you know, I.
Speaker AWithin the first inauguration.
Speaker AI believe within the first hundred days.
Speaker AI'm hoping we get national reciprocity.
Speaker AYeah, that's another big thing, you know, for somebody like myself and you, who travel a ton, that is a big thing.
Speaker AAnd I really want the, and that my, my little soapbox thing for a second.
Speaker AI really want the Trump administration to look at the TSA and go figure it out.
Speaker ABecause as you know, no single airport has the same rules for firearms.
Speaker BNo, it's, it's a.
Speaker BI'm leaving.
Speaker BI'm going to Ohio on Monday.
Speaker BAnd I was.
Speaker BL Literally on, when we're driving here, I was on the phone with one of my guys getting the stuff ready, and he's like, well, is this the right lock?
Speaker BIs that the right lock?
Speaker BIs this the right lock?
Speaker BIs that.
Speaker BWhich one do I use?
Speaker BAnd I'm like, dude, I know it's a show, like, what are you gonna do?
Speaker CRight?
Speaker BI mean, it's just.
Speaker BBut yeah, to your point, like, there's just, there's so much variety out there.
Speaker BAnd like, that's, I, like, I mean, just to be honest, like, that's why I hate, like, even taking a gun with me anywhere on an airplane.
Speaker BIt's such a, it's just, it's this crapshoot of what's going to happen.
Speaker AAnd that's, that's my, my big point.
Speaker AWe had a friend of Ours recently have an issue in Vegas with a firearm traveling.
Speaker AGot pulled off an airplane.
Speaker AAnd he's like, I'm mad.
Speaker ALike, what do we do about this csa?
Speaker AWe can't.
Speaker AThey can't touch him.
Speaker BYeah, yeah.
Speaker AThere's nothing we can really do.
Speaker DYep.
Speaker AAnd he's like, I don't understand.
Speaker ALike, their rules and regulations say one thing, but the website says another.
Speaker AAnd you can't.
Speaker AYou go.
Speaker ADepending on where you go.
Speaker AIt's always if sometimes they take it back and you're supposed to be present to the rules, but no, they make a secure location.
Speaker AWe can't have you back there, sir.
Speaker AIt's in my opinion they're discouraging people from exercising their Second amendment rights.
Speaker AAnd you, you just put it the same way, same way as me.
Speaker AIs it such a hassle 100% that you become so like, it's gonna be.
Speaker AIt's easier just for me to go roll in and go.
Speaker BI mean, it's like what they're doing in California.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BI mean, essentially, with all the laws and regulations, they're doing like, I mean, like, they, they're doing it so that way you don't want to even have the effort of having to get a gun or ammo.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BLike, which is crazy to even think about.
Speaker AWell, they, we saw this right before the election, right after the election.
Speaker AWashington has stopped doing background checks and everything's being held.
Speaker AThey're right there.
Speaker AThey're not letting you exercise your constitutionally given rights.
Speaker AIt's insane that these.
Speaker AI really hope that with everything we've got that this changes.
Speaker ABut it's insane that somebody who's never gone through the process, who's protected every day by somebody with a firearm, can make the rules and changes and just go down.
Speaker BNo rules for the little magic wand.
Speaker BRight.
Speaker BI know it's crazy, crazy to think about.
Speaker ANow we've got everything.
Speaker AI've talked about this.
Speaker AHow is an industry.
Speaker ADo you think we overcome and come together and do this?
Speaker ABecause we see a lot of.
Speaker AThere's a lot of us are friends 100.
Speaker BAnd honestly, God, I think it's getting actually it's going in the right direction.
Speaker BI really do.
Speaker BYou know, being in it for nine years now, like seeing where it is then to now, it's going in the right direction.
Speaker BRight.
Speaker BI think the biggest thing is, is, you know, the, the firearms industry is very ego based.
Speaker BRight.
Speaker BAnd so sometimes you got to massage somebody's ego a little bit to have that give and take.
Speaker BRight.
Speaker BAnd so.
Speaker BBut you also have to be, you know, self conscious enough to be able to accept that and be able to have honest conversations.
Speaker BAnd I think, you know, part of that is like kind of what we're doing on a daily basis, being upfront honest.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BIt's like, hey, like, you know, I like what you did there.
Speaker BCan we work together on something like that?
Speaker BLike instead of like hey, I like what you did there.
Speaker BI'm gonna go scan it, copy it and make it myself.
Speaker AYeah, well, I mean that's the thing.
Speaker AI've been a big proponent of co branded co marketing for a very long time.
Speaker BIf why I did the saber line.
Speaker BYeah, it's exactly why I did the saber line.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BBecause I was like, we have the saber line.
Speaker BI like the radiant charging handle.
Speaker BI like the micro best BCGs.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BI like all these pin and welds for muzzle brakes.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BBecause I'm a big suppressor guy.
Speaker BLike I want to be able to suppress whatever fire, you know, suppressor I have.
Speaker BRight.
Speaker BYou know that was like the idea.
Speaker BIt was a, is a collab gun.
Speaker BThat's what it is.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BBut we wanted to give it at the value that the customer could get it and afford it, you know.
Speaker BBut that's the idea is it's co branded.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker AWell and that's my thing with the, the if you look at other industry, you'll never see Nike and under armoured work together.
Speaker ANope, not at all.
Speaker BNever.
Speaker ABut you can see the great fax and then Smith and Wesson work together on something.
Speaker AOr are you guys in radiant and things like that.
Speaker AAnd that's what I like to see because at the end of the day we are all fighting for a market share.
Speaker AThe pie is big enough, we can all get a slice of it.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker ABut if we work together we're better off at breaking what this, the Trump slump.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker AIf we get, you know, we saw again, we're never gonna see.
Speaker AI hate to break it to everybody.
Speaker AWe're never gonna see Covid numbers ever again.
Speaker ANo, that, the, that was insane.
Speaker AThe 2020-2022.
Speaker CYeah.
Speaker BIt was like right at 2022.
Speaker DYep.
Speaker AWe're never going to see that again.
Speaker BNever.
Speaker ANow's the time to work together.
Speaker AIf we want to see those numbers go up, now's the time to work together to build that.
Speaker AAnd I really hope that everybody listening, especially if you're in the industry, take that to heart and go, yes, we need to go work with X brand or work with another brand, you know, because that is how we grow this industry.
Speaker AThat's how we continue to grow.
Speaker AAnd yeah, we're hoping we see another 20, 30 million gun owners buy new guns and we're hoping we see another increase.
Speaker ABut those numbers are not always going to be sustainable.
Speaker ASo now is the time to just work together.
Speaker BYeah, no, I, I agree.
Speaker B100.
Speaker BI think like going back to what I was saying earlier, I think it's, it's the egotistical mindset and I think also it's some of the, like the, the, I don't, I don't want to say old guard, but like protecting the, you know, the realm type mindset where it's like, no, you're not good enough.
Speaker BYou're not good enough.
Speaker BLike you can't do this, you can't do that.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BAnd I, and I feel like, you know, us as a company, Palmetto State Armory, at our core, I feel like we broke that barrier, you know, because people always thought of us as a budget gun company.
Speaker CRight?
Speaker BWell, well okay, we have your budget minded people, but we also have our saber line, which is your higher end line.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BWe're coming out with shotguns, we're working on bolt guns.
Speaker BWe're doing some really cool, innovative stuff coming out at shot show this year that's going to blow people away.
Speaker BRight.
Speaker BLike we're trying to tap into every market and you know, we're not trying to say we're taking market share, but we want to provide, you know, the best quality product at that price point in that market that they can afford.
Speaker BAnd I think that will never go away.
Speaker CRight.
Speaker BYou know, and I think, you know, sometimes we, we deal with some stuff, you know, where like local gun shops are like, well, PSA selling it cheaper than I can buy it for.
Speaker BYou know, they're putting me out of business.
Speaker CRight?
Speaker BAnd like, we don't want that mentality.
Speaker BThe mentality that we want is, is we're trying to help you, right?
Speaker BLike if you can do 20 transfers a week on a, on a dagger, right.
Speaker BThat's cheaper for you to do that than it is for you to buy inventory and hold inventory on your shelf, right?
Speaker BCharging the transfer fee.
Speaker BSell them some ammo, sell them some accessories, holsters, gear, whatever, right?
Speaker BAnd you know, you're making more money on that and you don't have to pay for any of the inventory, right?
Speaker BAnd so, you know, we're trying to break that stigma where we're like monopolizing that side of things or whatever.
Speaker BWe're, you know, more foot traffic into your building is better.
Speaker ACan I take a Stab at what, what I want from you guys.
