Melissa Deally:

Welcome back to another episode of health hack as I round out my month long series on hydration, which started with Episode 379, and has taken us all the way to Episode 390. And I have provided 23 different benefits to hydration. And today's benefits, the 23rd benefit is that good hydration results in you experiencing balanced electrolytes. And this is really important because when we have electrolyte balance within our body, we have good nerve function. Our muscle contractions work well. We have overall cellular activity, and we have good heart health as well. So there are so many reasons to ensure you are getting adequate hydration. And look at the bottom of the screen, you've got the bar running across the bottom saying drink half your body weight and water every single day. And remember to consider factors as as such as the climate, your physical activity, your weight. And also remember that sometimes when you think you're hungry, when you think your brain is telling you that you're hungry, it might actually be telling you that you're thirsty, and just go and drink eight ounces of water. And notice that you might find that you're no longer hungry. So enjoy your glasses of water, make sure you're drinking enough. It sounds so simple. It has so many benefits. And each and every one of those benefits is contributing to you feeling better in your body, your muscles, your joints, your cells all being able to function better, and you enjoying life more because when you feel better, life is better.
