Hello everyone.
Speaker:Tim Winders here.
Speaker:Welcome to this special edition of.
Speaker:Seek GoCreate.
Speaker:I called it when I was thinking about doing this between the holidays, depending
Speaker:on when you're listening to this, you may have just finished up Christmas.
Speaker:You might be preparing for the new year.
Speaker:You might be listening to it after the new year, but.
Speaker:I just called it between the holidays, we usually release episodes on Mondays.
Speaker:And this year 2023 Christmas fell on Monday.
Speaker:New year's day fell on Monday.
Speaker:And I just thought it might be best to do an episode.
Speaker:Right between the two and release it then, and look at this as a time to maybe.
Speaker:Reflect and renew look back on 2023 at some cool stuff that happened.
Speaker:Maybe some of our top episodes and some things we created and then Do a look
Speaker:ahead into 2024 and what we can look forward to and what we can prepare for is.
Speaker:Far as 2024 goes, but, man, I'm excited here.
Speaker:We're having a kind of a chill time of year just for us personally, just so
Speaker:you know, I'm recording this a few days before Christmas and Gloria and I are in
Speaker:Arizona and I'm sitting here in a t-shirt.
Speaker:I've got no shoes on.
Speaker:I've got a pair of shorts on.
Speaker:And it's going to be 70 something degrees outside today.
Speaker:And I love it.
Speaker:I love that kind of weather.
Speaker:I will tell you my wife kinda digs snow.
Speaker:If you're listening to this, when it releases between the holidays.
Speaker:We actually are going to be visiting our daughter and her
Speaker:family and our granddaughters.
Speaker:Up in Colorado and I'm thinking we're going to be having some snow then.
Speaker:So you might be listening to this.
Speaker:She might be getting her wish glory might be getting her.
Speaker:Gift, which is being around snow.
Speaker:And of course we'll both be enjoying cause we'll be hanging out.
Speaker:With our granddaughters, which is something that we love to do.
Speaker:But before I go any further, I just want to say this.
Speaker:It is my wish, my prayer, that you, your family, the people around you,
Speaker:that y'all have had a fantastic holiday.
Speaker:Holiday season, maybe it's continuing, maybe you're finished.
Speaker:Maybe you've already moved into the new year.
Speaker:But I just hope it's been a blessed time, a relaxed time, a peaceful time.
Speaker:A time that you've remembered the season and what all it stands for.
Speaker:And so I'm just hopeful.
Speaker:It's been a joy to, yeah.
Speaker:Wanted to put on a festive, maybe a red shirt to celebrate that.
Speaker:To celebrate.
Speaker:Christmas, but guess what?
Speaker:I don't own a red shirt.
Speaker:If you've listened in here, watch these, you know, that.
Speaker:Black is my primary or color.
Speaker:I really got for those that might be watching this video got
Speaker:pretty aggressive and put on.
Speaker:We got some new merchant.
Speaker:Seat GoCreate.
Speaker:This is actually a, a bright gold, which is one of our colors.
Speaker:That, says seek, go create.
Speaker:And I'm not in a festive color, I guess for me, it's festive.
Speaker:Maybe as I head into the new year, I'm getting pretty radical with, New wardrobe
Speaker:so I'm not festive thought about putting on a, Santa hat or something, but.
Speaker:Most of you probably would know that's not me.
Speaker:That would not be authentic.
Speaker:I would be faking and doing something different and we want to stay.
Speaker:Authentic here is seek co-create as we work on redefining what success is and not
Speaker:try to copy other people and not try to do what other people say we should do, but
Speaker:really adhere to what success means to us.
Speaker:Let's talk about 20, 23 and just some of the cool things.
Speaker:That occurred I guess maybe let me just do a few things, maybe
Speaker:personal, Gloria and I had.
Speaker:One of these years, I call it a Dickens' year tale of two cities.
Speaker:It was the best of times.
Speaker:And it was the worst of times.
Speaker:And I'm guessing that a lot of you may have been very similar.
Speaker:I mean, it was a real up and down year.
Speaker:I'll admit it really tested us in a lot of ways.
Speaker:But then we had so many cool things that happened.
Speaker:we stayed, we're in an RV, so we stayed in some really cool spots.
Speaker:We spent some time in the black Hills.
Speaker:We, we obviously went back and forth to Colorado a few times, which
Speaker:is where we get to visit with our granddaughters and our daughter's family.
Speaker:There.
Speaker:And, also spent some time in Southern Utah.
Speaker:And as I mentioned earlier now in, in Arizona, but in the midst of all that.
Speaker:We had to make a few trips back east and really spent almost a month there.
Speaker:at one time and then a few weeks, they're just taking care of some family things.
Speaker:Gloria's mother wasn't doing very well.
Speaker:And so we had to go tend to that.
Speaker:And then also, in may.
Speaker:We had to go back and, and take care of my father's Memorial service.
Speaker:We didn't show.
Speaker:He passed away just a little over a year ago in December of 2022.
Speaker:A little bit of a bittersweet, a little bit of a challenge with those.
Speaker:Those things, but, but had so many.
Speaker:Great things like the travels and the places that we went and the things
Speaker:we got to see, and the people that we interacted with and just so many things.
Speaker:And I know y'all are so used to me saying this, but.
Speaker:Being a grandfather being TDD, which is my name.
Speaker:To what is almost a four year old and approaching a two year old is
Speaker:one of the coolest things ever.
Speaker:And so about every six weeks or so, we were able to pop in and visit
Speaker:them, or they were able to visit us and we had a summer camp with them
Speaker:and that was just a load of fun.
Speaker:so again, some ups and downs, I'm sure.
Speaker:Just like you went through, but.
Speaker:That was part of what our year was.
Speaker:And we're excited about moving into the new year.
Speaker:Not sure what it's going to hold, but we're getting prepped for it
Speaker:and are excited about what 20, 24 might have in store for us.
Speaker:There are also a few cool things that I did just to mix it up a little bit.
Speaker:During the course of the year, I actually had my 60th.
Speaker:Birthday.
Speaker:I celebrated 60 years.
Speaker:In November.
Speaker:And in early October, I just decided I wanted to do some things
Speaker:a little bit different, and I may talk about this at the end.
Speaker:As I talk about some things we can do to prepare and get ready for a new year.
Speaker:But I actually made the decision to do two things in October.
Speaker:I gave up alcohol for the month of October and I was going to give up.
Speaker:News or media or the information I'm an information junkie.
Speaker:I love gathering information.
Speaker:I feel as if I need it.
Speaker:So it's okay for me to say, I probably have an addiction to information like many
Speaker:people do in our culture and world today.
Speaker:And I had four new sources that are read every morning and then I go out
Speaker:and I find other sources and have some emails that come in and I just.
Speaker:Wanted to stop doing all of that.
Speaker:And that's what I did in October.
Speaker:And what was interesting is I noticed just a few weeks in, I didn't really notice
Speaker:a lot of different things physically.
Speaker:With eliminating alcohol.
Speaker:However I noticed some incredible things.
Speaker:Mentally by eliminating all that stuff that came into my head.
Speaker:And so what I did was is I decided to continue having a
Speaker:sip of wine or a little whiskey.
Speaker:As I headed into November, but I decided that I would discontinue
Speaker:going to new sources and reading news.
Speaker:So I'm now in almost 90 days, plus without doing that.
Speaker:And I'll tell ya, I am noticing a significant difference.
Speaker:In my mindset.
Speaker:In my attitude in my outlook, I am, I think, more positive.
Speaker:I'm believe I'm less cynical.
Speaker:I think I'd look at opportunities and I can have a freshness and a lightness
Speaker:about being, there's a lot of heavy stuff.
Speaker:Going on in the world and it is so easy to get bogged down in it.
Speaker:And I am not making light.
Speaker:Of any of the things going on.
Speaker:there's always conflicts that are going on in parts of the world.
Speaker:There's always.
Speaker:Issues and shootings and political things and financial things and business.
Speaker:There's always things going on and I am in no way.
Speaker:Making light of those.
Speaker:I'm just coming to recognize.
Speaker:That many of those things, there is nothing.
Speaker:That I can do about them.
Speaker:I can lift them up in prayer.
Speaker:I'm may at times be able to do somethings about those.
Speaker:But in most situations that you're just clouding and confusing my mind.
Speaker:Probably causing me to think about things, dwell on things that
Speaker:I shouldn't be thinking about.
Speaker:Because as many of you have heard me say, I think we all have assignments.
Speaker:Here on earth.
Speaker:I think that those of us that are believers and followers of Christ, that
Speaker:we have an assignment in God's kingdom.
Speaker:And I just realized that all the news, all the media, all the
Speaker:stuff that was clouding my mind.
Speaker:Was in all likelihood preventing me from pursuing.
Speaker:That assignment that God has for me in his kingdom, because I
Speaker:kept thinking about all the junk.
Speaker:I just kept dwelling on it.
Speaker:Rolling it over.
Speaker:Rolling it over.
Speaker:Rolling it over.
Speaker:That's one thing I did.
Speaker:And we'll talk more about some things as we head into the next year, but those
Speaker:were a couple of cool things that I did.
Speaker:Again, I'm taking a little sip of wine here and there, and I'm
Speaker:actually probably drinking a little bit less than I was pre October 1st.
Speaker:But eliminating all the news and the sources of information was a big deal.
Speaker:Let's talk about some cool things that happen here at seek GoCreate.
Speaker:During the course of 20, 23, the year started off with a bang.
Speaker:We had a lot of good things going on, but over the course of 20, 23, we made.
Speaker:A number of shifts.
Speaker:Some might've been noticeable to you.
Speaker:The people that are watching our videos or listening to our audio.
Speaker:And some may not.
Speaker:One of the big things that I did was I decided to do.
Speaker:A series released in the month of may.
Speaker:It was called the faith driven leader.
Speaker:And it was five episodes of just me on my, there was some content that
Speaker:I wanted to put together and create.
Speaker:I put them in some compact episodes, right around 30 to 40 minutes each.
Speaker:We put a quiz with it, the faith driven leader quiz.
Speaker:That has some great information in for those that go through the quiz.
Speaker:There's also a 12 email step, training that you get over the
Speaker:course of about a month or month and a half after you take the quiz.
Speaker:And so I was very pleased with how that came out.
Speaker:So if you haven't checked that out, Make sure you go check out the faith.
Speaker:Driven leader series, either on YouTube, we've got the videos and things there
Speaker:or on the audio and just check it out.
Speaker:I think we grouped it together as a season.
Speaker:So you should be able to get that all together.
Speaker:And we'll also include links to get.
Speaker:Tied into the quiz and also some links so that you can check that out.
Speaker:Another thing that we did was we changed some of our processes.
Speaker:Behind the scenes.
Speaker:We, we were outsourcing our audio editing, our video editing and some video clips.
Speaker:and I'll tell you what we did with some tools that are now available with
Speaker:AI and just some of the technology.
Speaker:We were able to bring all of that in.
Speaker:And most of that I am now doing, I've got some help from my wife.
Speaker:He does a great job with.
Speaker:Some scheduling and just putting together some of the structure and systems.
Speaker:And she also helps with the graphic.
Speaker:She's the one that does this.
Speaker:For those that are looking at these cool graphics on this t-shirt that
Speaker:I've got and got a mug here with seat GoCreate and some other things.
Speaker:This is our merge.
Speaker:That before you ask it is not available for sale, yet it might
Speaker:be in the not too distant future, but right now this is just.
Speaker:Especially for the host.
Speaker:So it's my it's stuff that I have that is seek GoCreate.
Speaker:We're checking some things out.
Speaker:We'll see if we want to make that available, but we, we brought all of that
Speaker:in house and started doing some things.
Speaker:That allowed us to create some more content.
Speaker:And I'll tell you, I want to go ahead and admit this.
Speaker:That AI chat GPT, and a lot of other tools.
Speaker:Allowed us to do this.
Speaker:We are using a lot of tools behind the scenes so that we can create some
Speaker:of the things that we're creating.
Speaker:With our content, our audio, our video here at seat GoCreate
Speaker:and just a few examples.
Speaker:One of the things that we're doing with each episode, we are.
Speaker:creating three short 62nd ish.
Speaker:Clips that are not really to promote the episode.
Speaker:They are content rich.
Speaker:They are short.
Speaker:Content driven clips.
Speaker:That we're putting on all of our social platforms.
Speaker:We're putting those on YouTube and other places.
Speaker:So that you can get short bursts of information.
Speaker:And, another thing that we're doing with that is we're creating content.
Speaker:That is articles.
Speaker:In other words, we started.
Speaker:putting articles on LinkedIn.
Speaker:That are summaries of the episodes that are really good.
Speaker:Three to five.
Speaker:Highlights or key lessons that you can get from each episode.
Speaker:And then, also just recently started putting articles on medium.
Speaker:So if you're plugged into any of those and want to check out
Speaker:our things there, go do that.
Speaker:And we just started trying to put more.
Speaker:Valuable content on all the social platforms that we are on.
Speaker:And just as a reminder, we are definitely on all the podcast platforms.
Speaker:And we're also on YouTube and we're putting information,
Speaker:obviously on both of those.
Speaker:But we are also on Facebook.
Speaker:Seat go create.
Speaker:We're also on LinkedIn seek co-create.
Speaker:We're also on Tik TOK seat.
Speaker:Go create Instagram.
Speaker:And I believe that might be an O X, Twitter, whatever we're calling it now,
Speaker:ex Twitter and threads the new threads.
Speaker:So we've got information on all of those.
Speaker:So if any of those are your.
Speaker:Favorite or your social media platform of choice.
Speaker:I definitely follow us and connect with us there and add comments and things
Speaker:because we're putting short videos up there, short bursts of content so
Speaker:that you can stay plugged into what we're doing here at seek co-create.
Speaker:And one other thing that we're able to do because of the AI tools is we
Speaker:are able to update some of our notes.
Speaker:We're constantly adjusting and tweaking.
Speaker:But one of the things that I really want to do is I want someone who goes
Speaker:to our notes either on one of the platforms, some of the platforms we
Speaker:can't put this much content there.
Speaker:But if you go to seek, go create, not come to any episode.
Speaker:We typically put some short descriptions.
Speaker:A quote.
Speaker:some information on the guest.
Speaker:If we have a guest.
Speaker:And we also have resources.
Speaker:We like to put links to all the resources that are mentioned.
Speaker:In other words, if I'm mentioning some of our episodes and all here on this.
Speaker:Special episode there should be links that are there.
Speaker:But another thing we like to do is to put key learning points, action items.
Speaker:And then also some summaries so that if you happen to not be able to listen
Speaker:to an episode, or if you listen in your car while you're out and about,
Speaker:and just want to go back and do re.
Speaker:A review of a few points.
Speaker:You can go to the website and you can get that pretty darn easily
Speaker:because we're able to include a good bit of information there.
Speaker:We also have transcripts and all too, but you can actually go check out
Speaker:and get a lot of information on our website, on our notes, our new notes
Speaker:that we're developing at CECO create.
Speaker:And there's one other, thing's interesting.
Speaker:I know that not everyone is a fan of Tik TOK.
Speaker:And a lot of people say, don't go to tick tock, they're collecting
Speaker:and gathering information.
Speaker:I just have a clue for you.
Speaker:All these social media platforms are gathering your information yet.
Speaker:Take talk might have a connection to a foreign government, but.
Speaker:Just between you and me.
Speaker:I'm not sure that I trust many of the governments.
Speaker:But take talk is one.
Speaker:I actually enjoy going and just looking at short videos and short clips of things,
Speaker:but we do put our short video clips there.
Speaker:And something that's really cool that they added.
Speaker:They really do add a lot of features over there is that you can go look
Speaker:at a clip from any of our episodes over the last, I think six months
Speaker:we've been able to put clips up there.
Speaker:And if you like that clip or want to listen to the full episode, there's a
Speaker:place that you could click right on that clip and just write in the tick tock.
Speaker:in the Tik TOK application there, the app, you can listen to the full podcast
Speaker:interview or the full podcast episode.
Speaker:Now.
Speaker:To me.
Speaker:I think that's pretty cool because most other places you would listen.
Speaker:To a clip or a short or short burst of information.
Speaker:And then you would have to leave that app and go somewhere else, go to your
Speaker:podcast app or go over to YouTube.
Speaker:To watch or listen to the full thing.
Speaker:take talk allows you to do it.
Speaker:So at some point, if you're a Tik TOK fan, if you're not that's okay, cool.
Speaker:Don't throw stuff at me or anything like that.
Speaker:But if you're a Tik TOK fan or go to Tik TOK from time to time,
Speaker:Visit tick tock, go to seek.
Speaker:Go create.
Speaker:Look at some of our clips and Jumped down and.
Speaker:And then go listen to the full episode.
Speaker:And we just added this towards the beginning of December.
Speaker:But we now have a place where If you dig this content and really love what we're
Speaker:doing here at seat, go create you can.
Speaker:By the host, me, Tim.
Speaker:A cup of coffee or.
Speaker:A simple whiskey or whatever you would like to buy, supporting us financially.
Speaker:All you have to do is go to seek, go create.com forward slash support.
Speaker:And you can leave a tip.
Speaker:We, I think we've got $1, $5, $10 or put in your own amount.
Speaker:I will tell you any amount you put in would be welcome.
Speaker:There's a place you can add some comments.
Speaker:I'll tell you, if you put a comment there, there's a good
Speaker:chance that you will be featured.
Speaker:On an episode, I'll give you a shout out and I would appreciate it greatly.
Speaker:any support is welcome.
Speaker:We are attempting to redefine success and.
Speaker:really put some stories out there so people can hear the journeys
Speaker:that people have gone on to define what success means for them.
Speaker:Either they've been forced to redefine it, or they have forced
Speaker:themselves to redefine it.
Speaker:And they're redefining success, really trying to find out
Speaker:what success means to them.
Speaker:And I believe that message is important.
Speaker:So if you want to support that, You now can do that at CECO,
Speaker:create.com forward slash support.
Speaker:Go check it out and give us a tip.
Speaker:Or buy me a cup of coffee or support us, whatever you would like to do,
Speaker:that would be greatly appreciated.
Speaker:One of the things that's always cool to do is to look back.
Speaker:And see.
Speaker:Which episodes or short video clips were the most popular.
Speaker:And now we've got multiple places that we can look back and see which content
Speaker:is just resonating or getting out there.
Speaker:And people are responding to it.
Speaker:positive, negative, either.
Speaker:One of those is fine.
Speaker:and so what I want to do now is I want to do a recap of some of the top clips.
Speaker:And episodes from 2023.
Speaker:The first thing that I want to do here, and I'm going to
Speaker:actually bring these clips in.
Speaker:Is, I want to share with you the short clips.
Speaker:The short highlights that got the most views over on YouTube.
Speaker:I really love that.
Speaker:We're able to put this short form content up.
Speaker:Because it really is a way to find out what really resonates with
Speaker:people and things that people want to hear and want to listen to.
Speaker:And I'm going to, I'm going to actually go through the top three.
Speaker:The top three short video clips that we put up and we
Speaker:only started putting up clips.
Speaker:Around may of 2023.
Speaker:And so let me go 3, 2, 1, here.
Speaker:And I'm actually going to show you these clips.
Speaker:If you're, you'll be able to listen to them, if you're listening in,
Speaker:on your podcast player, but if you're on YouTube watching this.
Speaker:I'm going to pull these clips.
Speaker:The third, most.
Speaker:Viewed clip that we had was from, Craig Fayer.
Speaker:And let me set this up.
Speaker:Craig Fayer was a trauma surgeon.
Speaker:And, he actually had dyslexia and he is all about.
Speaker:Redefining success.
Speaker:And, this is a clip where I asked him about his dyslexia because
Speaker:he was able to become a surgeon.
Speaker:with having the issue of dyslexia.
Speaker:And so this was a pretty powerful clip.
Speaker:Listen, in on this clip from Craig.
Speaker:Fair.
Craig Thayer:I just grew up first, second grade teachers, he is a slow reader.
Craig Thayer:He needs to read more.
Craig Thayer:And third grade, they actually tested your words per minute.
Craig Thayer:And, I skipped around, I jumped front lines.
Craig Thayer:I sweat when Star Wars comes on and there's that hole.
Craig Thayer:And I land far away.
Craig Thayer:Long time ago, I'm like, oh, I can't keep up, or I can't stand
Craig Thayer:watching titled, subtitled movies.
Craig Thayer:I miss 'em or I gotta pom and read it.
Craig Thayer:And then, so I just knew that, but I never really thought that
Craig Thayer:it was a disability or a problem.
Craig Thayer:and I've taken a million tests.
Craig Thayer:MCATs are eight hours long.
Craig Thayer:Your boards are eight hours long.
Craig Thayer:You're, I just, I have angst about those exams because I look at the
Craig Thayer:time and the number of questions and make sure I stay on pace.
Craig Thayer:And then I worry more about staying up, which is completely distracting.
Craig Thayer:But I do okay.
Craig Thayer:and then the dyslexia for processing speed.
Craig Thayer:Cuz when you read, you use your cortex normally, but
Craig Thayer:dyslexic use deeper gray matter.
Craig Thayer:So we have a higher speed to do that.
Craig Thayer:It's just not as organized.
Craig Thayer:So reading's hard.
Craig Thayer:All right.
Craig Thayer:This next clip is our second most watched clip over on YouTube.
Craig Thayer:And man, I loved this conversation I had with Joshua Brown and.
Craig Thayer:And he is the pressure washing pastor.
Craig Thayer:At a background in ministry and has started a Pressure washing
Craig Thayer:business in the Nashville area now is actually allowing other people
Craig Thayer:to participate in that business.
Craig Thayer:and we had a great conversation because I love talking ministry.
Craig Thayer:I love talking business.
Craig Thayer:We're able to mash those all together.
Craig Thayer:But what I really loved was him telling his story.
Craig Thayer:So in this clip that you're going to listen to here.
Craig Thayer:He's giving some of the background.
Craig Thayer:Of his story.
Craig Thayer:And let me just tell you it's powerful.
Craig Thayer:So listen to this clip from the pressure washing pastor.
Craig Thayer:Joshua Brown.
Joshua Brown:Frankie said to my mom, I'll pay for his abortion,
Joshua Brown:but I won't be in his life.
Joshua Brown:My mom at 15 with nothing, no support, no money broke.
Joshua Brown:Look at her.
Joshua Brown:So like nothing, she's got nothing.
Joshua Brown:She ended up saying, I can't kill him.
Joshua Brown:And so the reason I like to talk about it is cuz I'm like, it's everything.
Joshua Brown:And
Joshua Brown:True to Frankie's words.
Joshua Brown:He chose to not be in our lives when we grew up homeless and
Joshua Brown:with different boyfriends.
Joshua Brown:And my mom had married two or three different times.
Joshua Brown:We lived in the back of soup kitchens church fellowship halls, cars, and
Joshua Brown:different cities, different projects, and moved from place to place.
Joshua Brown:By the time I'm 17, I'm in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Joshua Brown:I'm a drug dealer, pothead high school dropout, which makes sense.
Joshua Brown:It looks like that was my pathway for where we were at.
Joshua Brown:I had no dad figure except for Tupac, nwa Snoop Dogg.
Joshua Brown:Those were the guys that I looked up to
Joshua Brown:That was quite an episode.
Joshua Brown:And let me tell you, if you haven't listened to it, maybe jump.
Joshua Brown:Listen to all these, And then the number one, I interviewed Mike Moraski.
Joshua Brown:And Mike's got a great story.
Joshua Brown:He's in commercial real estate.
Joshua Brown:But some years back, he actually spent some time in prison.
Joshua Brown:And we go through the full story and everything here, but this clip.
Joshua Brown:Is just a brief snippet.
Joshua Brown:Of the conversation we had about time he spent in prison and the impact that had
Joshua Brown:on him and how he had to redefine success.
Joshua Brown:And let me tell you, it was quite a story of resilience.
Joshua Brown:So listen to this clip.
Joshua Brown:This was our most listened to short clip.
Joshua Brown:Of seat go create in 2023 from Mike Moraski.
Mike Morawski:I went to prison and, I thought my life was over and I always
Mike Morawski:tell people, I say, I never flew private.
Mike Morawski:I didn't have a big house.
Mike Morawski:I didn't have a boat.
Mike Morawski:We didn't have a fancy car.
Mike Morawski:I was the neighborhood baseball coach.
Mike Morawski:I was home every night for dinner.
Mike Morawski:And I got ripped from that to live in a 12 by 12 room with three men.
Mike Morawski:I didn't know, nor did I like wondering what the hell happened in my life.
Tim Winders:at what age and when you were 50, mid fifties.
Mike Morawski:53.
Mike Morawski:And I, I'm in prison about three weeks and my wife divorces me and it
Mike Morawski:wrecked me and now I'm like, okay, now what, how do I get through this?
Mike Morawski:and I'm mad at God, by the way, at this point now I'm pissed.
Mike Morawski:PhenoMEnal episode there.
Mike Morawski:That was excellent.
Mike Morawski:It's one of the things I want to mention here.
Mike Morawski:That's just odd to me a few years back.
Mike Morawski:So it wasn't released.
Mike Morawski:In 2023, it might've been 22 or 21.
Mike Morawski:I was doing some book reviews, just me looking in the camera and in 60 seconds
Mike Morawski:or less, I would talk about a book.
Mike Morawski:And some of them did pretty well, but one of them.
Mike Morawski:I don't really know how to define viral, truthfully.
Mike Morawski:I don't, but there is a video that I did where I reviewed the book, the Alchemist.
Mike Morawski:Put it up on our YouTube channel.
Mike Morawski:And to this day.
Mike Morawski:It is.
Mike Morawski:Continually our most watched video clip, our most watched of anything we've done.
Mike Morawski:And truthfully the quality.
Mike Morawski:I was in an Airbnb in Colorado Springs when I did it, I just flipped on the
Mike Morawski:camera, held the book up and said, I just finished reading the Alchemist.
Mike Morawski:And I said a few things about it.
Mike Morawski:I would not have considered it to be my best work.
Mike Morawski:However.
Mike Morawski:It is had massive amounts of views.
Mike Morawski:And continues to every single day.
Mike Morawski:So if you're over on our YouTube channel and you want to just look
Mike Morawski:at our most viewed, it would be the short book review of the alchemists.
Mike Morawski:Now that does bring up in history in question, maybe a little bit
Mike Morawski:of audience participation here.
Mike Morawski:Because if you think that is something that I should do more of,
Mike Morawski:if you're listening in via podcast on audio, or if you're watching
Mike Morawski:this on YouTube, I'd love to you.
Mike Morawski:If you're on YouTube, watching this jump down in the comments and let me know.
Mike Morawski:Yeah, Tim, give us some more of those short book reviews
Mike Morawski:or Nan not for me or whatever.
Mike Morawski:I'd love to hear it because I can do more of those.
Mike Morawski:But.
Mike Morawski:It's just something that I did for a while and stopped doing.
Mike Morawski:I do go through a lot of books, read a lot of books and I could
Mike Morawski:definitely do some book reviews like we did what the outcome is.
Mike Morawski:We also do.
Mike Morawski:our entire 60 minute videos.
Mike Morawski:And now our 60 minute audios.
Mike Morawski:Are now going up to our YouTube channel so you could listen to audio.
Mike Morawski:Just on YouTube or you could watch the interview and there's some back and forth.
Mike Morawski:That you can actually see of the guest.
Mike Morawski:During the interview process over on YouTube.
Mike Morawski:Do you want to go ahead and tell you that our number one watched long form.
Mike Morawski:Video over on YouTube is, is one of my gosh, I've got
Mike Morawski:so many favorite interviews.
Mike Morawski:I love what I get to do here and talking to people, but it's called living out
Mike Morawski:your faith redefining church and embracing everyday discipleship with Caesar And
Mike Morawski:that was such a phenomenal interview.
Mike Morawski:So if you want to check out our number one video of our long interviews, then
Mike Morawski:go check that one out with Caesar Calla.
Mike Morawski:Now, ski.
Mike Morawski:Or go listen to it.
Mike Morawski:It's a great interview.
Mike Morawski:Now another thing that we can track and measure is that we can go to
Mike Morawski:our host for our audio podcast.
Mike Morawski:And we can see which episodes over the course of the year or a period of time.
Mike Morawski:Has been downloaded the most.
Mike Morawski:The number one episode that was downloaded.
Mike Morawski:It released back in March.
Mike Morawski:And it was when we celebrated our 200th episode.
Mike Morawski:And it was a little bit of a different episode because my wife and I sat
Mike Morawski:down at the camera and I think we did it for those of you that are
Mike Morawski:watching this just to my right.
Mike Morawski:In the RV here.
Mike Morawski:And we just sat down and we flipped the table a little bit.
Mike Morawski:And she interviewed me and just ask some questions about the podcast
Mike Morawski:and that milestone that we reached that 200th episode and some things
Mike Morawski:that I thought about it, and some other things that she asked.
Mike Morawski:And so that episode was our most downloaded and it was.
Mike Morawski:Our most downloaded by a good margin.
Mike Morawski:Over our next, most downloaded, but let me just give you a few.
Mike Morawski:That are top ones.
Mike Morawski:And then I'm going to say something about our number one downloaded
Mike Morawski:episode, regular episode.
Mike Morawski:we had three of our episodes.
Mike Morawski:That, that I'll mention here.
Mike Morawski:The, the third place that I'll say is the interview we did with Mary Schneider.
Mike Morawski:great interview.
Mike Morawski:Take the stage, the power of your voice with Mary Snyder that released
Mike Morawski:towards the tail end of January in 2023.
Mike Morawski:And so that was a great one.
Mike Morawski:We'll include links.
Mike Morawski:If you want to go check that out.
Mike Morawski:The next episode, that was one of our most downloaded, I guess
Mike Morawski:the second most downloaded.
Mike Morawski:Was, it was a solo episode.
Mike Morawski:It was interesting.
Mike Morawski:it was one that I put together fairly quickly, but it was a
Mike Morawski:topic that, that I was noticing in some of the coaching I was doing.
Mike Morawski:And some of the teams and organizations I was working with.
Mike Morawski:And I just put something together called the power of
Mike Morawski:being emotionally intelligent.
Mike Morawski:And I just put a, it was a teaching that I did and it really
Mike Morawski:turned out well, I enjoyed it.
Mike Morawski:We'll put, we'll include a link down below.
Mike Morawski:But, that episode was our second.
Mike Morawski:Most downloaded.
Mike Morawski:And drum roll, please.
Mike Morawski:The number one downloaded episode of 2023 podcast episode for seek.
Mike Morawski:Go create.
Mike Morawski:Was an episode that released right at a year ago, it was
Mike Morawski:the first episode of 2023.
Mike Morawski:From January 2nd.
Mike Morawski:And it was something it's really resonated on some of our social medias.
Mike Morawski:And every time I mentioned this to people.
Mike Morawski:They either scratch their head or they go, that's awesome.
Mike Morawski:Or I want to get more information and the title was.
Mike Morawski:Jesus never hustled.
Mike Morawski:Why should you, and I'll tell you that it was my.
Mike Morawski:Response to the hustle culture.
Mike Morawski:And it was my response to something that I keep seeing.
Mike Morawski:That's bothering me and that is this hustle culture mindset
Mike Morawski:that a lot of people have.
Mike Morawski:Now, the reason I can speak to that is because.
Mike Morawski:I am one that has attempted to overcome.
Mike Morawski:That hustle mindset myself.
Mike Morawski:And there's nothing wrong with working hard.
Mike Morawski:There's nothing wrong with hustling.
Mike Morawski:I'm not saying that.
Mike Morawski:But when you become addicted to it, And you believe that it is the
Mike Morawski:way, the only way to be successful.
Mike Morawski:Then I believe it's something that you need to really make
Mike Morawski:sure you're defining it properly.
Mike Morawski:And it's why it fits into the redefining success.
Mike Morawski:That we do here.
Mike Morawski:So the number one podcast episode from 2023 was Jesus.
Mike Morawski:Never hustled.
Mike Morawski:Why should you, if you have not heard that one.
Mike Morawski:Go down and click on the link and go listen to that.
Mike Morawski:And I do want to give you a glimpse of something that might.
Mike Morawski:Be a clue as to something you'll see, as we head into the next year.
Mike Morawski:This is a topic that's been more and more.
Mike Morawski:Something that I've been thinking about it.
Mike Morawski:And seeing, and I see a real contrast between many of the
Mike Morawski:people we talked to on CECO create.
Mike Morawski:And some things I see out in the culture now, out in the world.
Mike Morawski:and again, I am not anti working hard.
Mike Morawski:I'm not, All for being lazy.
Mike Morawski:I just know that there are certain people.
Mike Morawski:That, when they hear things like if it is to be it's up to me or
Mike Morawski:hustle, hustle, hustle, hustle, and grind, things like that.
Mike Morawski:That they start going down that path.
Mike Morawski:And it becomes an addiction to them that if they believe they can get
Mike Morawski:certain things done in eight hours a day, Then they can push it and
Mike Morawski:do nine hours, 10 hours, 11 hours.
Mike Morawski:And I want to confess.
Mike Morawski:That was me.
Mike Morawski:I was that guy all during the late eighties and the nineties
Mike Morawski:into the two thousands.
Mike Morawski:Until I came against a brick wall, which was the financial downturn of 2008.
Mike Morawski:And let me tell you what, if that didn't get my attention.
Mike Morawski:God got my attention.
Mike Morawski:And I realized, what?
Mike Morawski:I cannot continue at that pace.
Mike Morawski:It is not working.
Mike Morawski:I've got to do things differently.
Mike Morawski:And so that's what this topic is all about.
Mike Morawski:And I am strongly considering.
Mike Morawski:Another podcast.
Mike Morawski:That is entirely focused on people.
Mike Morawski:That have had that Addiction to hustle and grind.
Mike Morawski:And, you need to overcome it because it's not sustainable.
Mike Morawski:It's bad for your health.
Mike Morawski:It's bad for your relationships.
Mike Morawski:It's not working.
Mike Morawski:You might be.
Mike Morawski:Thinking that you're achieving and accomplishing some things.
Mike Morawski:But you look in your bank account and you look at how much time it's taking
Mike Morawski:and you realize, That's not working.
Mike Morawski:And so keep your eyes out.
Mike Morawski:Right here.
Mike Morawski:We'll announce it here first.
Mike Morawski:For a possible new podcast, that'll have a community and some
Mike Morawski:other things wrapped around it.
Mike Morawski:That might be related to people that are addicted to that hustle.
Mike Morawski:Okay.
Mike Morawski:So that's our recap.
Mike Morawski:Our look back.
Mike Morawski:At 2023 and what a great year it was.
Mike Morawski:I'll tell you what, I'm super excited, but I tell you what's even more interesting.
Mike Morawski:And that is the people that we have been connected with.
Mike Morawski:That we're able to interview and then share with you.
Mike Morawski:As we head into 2024, we have recorded.
Mike Morawski:Almost all the episodes that are going to be released in January.
Mike Morawski:Let me just tell you what they are off.
Mike Morawski:The charts phenomenal.
Mike Morawski:And so let me just give you a brief glimpse.
Mike Morawski:We've got Jean TN.
Mike Morawski:It's going to be coming up and let me just tell you what she had Ivy league degrees.
Mike Morawski:Working in the financial world, everything that anybody would say is successful.
Mike Morawski:But yet in her mind and early on, she realized this was not the success.
Mike Morawski:That she wanted and she helps people.
Mike Morawski:That realize that overcome or redirect or shift.
Mike Morawski:And so it was like the perfect definition of redefining success.
Mike Morawski:And so gene TN is coming up.
Mike Morawski:I think that'll be in early January or one of the first episodes.
Mike Morawski:And then we've got Mike Barczyk and Mike has a great story.
Mike Morawski:He had a large company.
Mike Morawski:That company had done well.
Mike Morawski:he basically ran mountain bike adventures.
Mike Morawski:All over the world trips.
Mike Morawski:Where you take a trip and go mountain biking to remote exotic places.
Mike Morawski:It was the largest company in the world.
Mike Morawski:As I understand it, that did that.
Mike Morawski:And he sold that company a few years ago.
Mike Morawski:And now.
Mike Morawski:Hey get this.
Mike Morawski:A few times a year, he takes a group of entrepreneurs.
Mike Morawski:To some of the most remote and unique places in the world.
Mike Morawski:I think he just came back from Mongolia with a group.
Mike Morawski:He's been to Morocco, to the desert.
Mike Morawski:And we just have a conversation about how.
Mike Morawski:Those type people that he interacts with, how they redefined success.
Mike Morawski:And let me just tell you what, there's so many incredible lessons.
Mike Morawski:That you can get from that conversation from that interview.
Mike Morawski:And then there's a conversation that I had with Heather parody.
Mike Morawski:And Heather's one that I've been connected with on social media for some time.
Mike Morawski:And she runs a, a group and a podcast called unconventional leaders.
Mike Morawski:That's how I first connected with her.
Mike Morawski:and I just have always loved what she does there.
Mike Morawski:I noticed that She had made some shifts.
Mike Morawski:In what she was doing and what she was creating.
Mike Morawski:And I recognize that she was going through quite.
Mike Morawski:The redefining of success in her life and all that she was doing.
Mike Morawski:So we had a really cool conversation and she comes from the deep
Mike Morawski:south to spiritual background.
Mike Morawski:She's gone through a lot of changes and all in the way she looks at her
Mike Morawski:fate and we had a great conversation about that and just success.
Mike Morawski:In general.
Mike Morawski:And so make sure you listen to Heather parody when she comes up in January.
Mike Morawski:And then many others that we have on the books.
Mike Morawski:I've got a scheduled to interview people that have exited companies
Mike Morawski:and made eight and nine figures.
Mike Morawski:That realize that all that they did, all that they went through
Mike Morawski:was not really successful to them.
Mike Morawski:When they look back on it now yet it was about the money.
Mike Morawski:But that they would do things different now.
Mike Morawski:And we can learn so much from those people.
Mike Morawski:They're just so many cool.
Mike Morawski:Interviews, a lot of people in ministry, a lot of people in business.
Mike Morawski:So make sure you stay plugged in.
Mike Morawski:If you're watching this, you're still with us here again, make sure you're
Mike Morawski:subscribed and following because there's so many good things that are coming up.
Mike Morawski:I don't know when you're listening to this.
Mike Morawski:As I said, when we began, you could be listened to this between
Mike Morawski:the holidays, which is when it was released or as you've.
Mike Morawski:Moved into the new year, but I really do want.
Mike Morawski:This what we're doing here to support.
Mike Morawski:The cool and great things that you have in store in your near future.
Mike Morawski:It is my desire.
Mike Morawski:That whatever success means to you, that you are in the process of defining it.
Mike Morawski:And getting as clear about what that means for you.
Mike Morawski:And your organization, your business, your ministry, your
Mike Morawski:family, as clear as it can possibly.
Mike Morawski:B.
Mike Morawski:And that, and again, I'm just hopeful that these conversations that we have here.
Mike Morawski:Are helpful.
Mike Morawski:I do encourage you to shake some things up this year.
Mike Morawski:I don't know if it'll be an awesome year.
Mike Morawski:I don't know if it'd be a challenging Lear year.
Mike Morawski:Like I talked about our 20, 23 was in many ways, but I think that if
Mike Morawski:we're living life, we're going to have some things that are really cool.
Mike Morawski:And some things that are challenging.
Mike Morawski:That's part of life.
Mike Morawski:That's part of living it.
Mike Morawski:And so those ups and downs are the things we just have to deal
Mike Morawski:with, but just get prepared.
Mike Morawski:For a phenomenal year.
Mike Morawski:Maybe you need to do something like I did where you remove some of the.
Mike Morawski:Information that comes into your head.
Mike Morawski:So that you can just be clearer in your thinking.
Mike Morawski:And if that's the case, I just am hopeful that you're able to identify those
Mike Morawski:things that need to change as a coach, as someone who works with individuals.
Mike Morawski:I'm always looking to adjust and tweak things and I encourage people.
Mike Morawski:To do the same.
Mike Morawski:If there is anything that we can do for you here at CECO create
Mike Morawski:don't hesitate to reach out.
Mike Morawski:If you need a coach or want to book a discovery call with me,
Mike Morawski:there's links typically down below that you can go do that.
Mike Morawski:I will get on the phone with just about anyone for a 30 minute call.
Mike Morawski:Just to chit chat and discuss what I might can help you with or what you might
Mike Morawski:need a coach for, or maybe you used to help you get unstuck or move forward.
Mike Morawski:So be more than happy to do that.
Mike Morawski:I appreciate you listening in here.
Mike Morawski:I'm so thankful for you.
Mike Morawski:We should be back on our Monday release schedules.
Mike Morawski:In January, not January 1st, but January 8th is when we released an episode.
Mike Morawski:So this was about a much different episode here between the holidays.
Mike Morawski:I've enjoyed it.
Mike Morawski:I enjoy just flipping it on the mic and talking and sharing some things.
Mike Morawski:Hope has been a great season for you until next time.
Mike Morawski:Continue being all that you were created to be.
