Welcome back to another edition of health hack. As I round out this nine part series on key steps you can take in any healing journey. As I said at the very beginning, this is based on the work of Dr. Kelly Turner and her book radical remission, which was really focusing on cancers thrivers, who put their cancer into remission and the steps that they all took. And as I read that, I realized, this is great information. And it applies to any healing journey. And it's so often when I talk about when I'm working with my clients, one to one or in any of my group coaching sessions. And so the last reason or the last important piece to your healing journey is having compelling reasons to live and not give up, even when it feels hard. Even when you're at your worst. Why is it that you still want to be here? What is it that you still want to do in your time on this earth? For some people, it might be, you know, grandchildren, they want to see their grandchildren or their children grow up. It could be that you haven't finished all of the work that you want to do in terms of you clearly know your purpose and your passion. And you still have dreams and goals that you want to do there. It could be your business, what is it that has you wanting to wake up day after day after day, and keep going and to push through with all these aspects of your healing journey, even in your darkest hours, where there's a part of you that wants to give up was that other part of you that wants to keep living, and keep having that reason running through your mind because remember, your mind is so powerful, your body is just a robot of the mind. So if you're telling yourself, the reasons you want to give up, your body is going to start giving up. If you're telling yourself the reasons that you want to live, and all the reasons why you need to heal because you have all of these things you still need to be doing. Your body's going to be able to heal and it will follow exactly what your mind is directing. So think of why is it that you still want to be here and wake up every day. And sometimes we don't focus on that. When we're living we just take it for granted that we will wake up every day and it's when we face a difficult health issue. And we face death in the in the face literally, that we sometimes really get strong in our reason for a living. But I
Melissa Deally:want to ask you don't let it come to that. Just like the don't wait for your wake up call. Don't wait for that. Instead, spend some time with yourself now to figure out why is it that you want to show up every single day and show up with that as your first thought every morning and keep living that dream until you achieve it and then move on to the next one. And remind yourself every single day why your your life is worth living
Unknown:and why you want to get up every day. I hope you've enjoyed this series with these nine steps. If you missed any of them, please go back and listen to the previous episodes. And next week. I will be back with a whole new set of health hacks for you
