Her company is soul deep journey, and she is a biofield tuning practitioner.

Speaker:

Stick around and let's learn more about what that actually is.

Speaker:

So welcome Sheila.

Speaker:

We're so happy to have you here today.

Speaker:

Thank you, Jeannie.

Speaker:

And thank you, Kirsten, for having me.

Speaker:

I'm thrilled to be here.

Speaker:

I am so excited to have you because I got a session with you, which was fantastic.

Speaker:

And we'll talk more about that in a little while, but oh my gosh,

Speaker:

we know that everything is energy and everything is a vibration.

Speaker:

So I'm really excited to hear about how you started helping business owners.

Speaker:

fine tune themselves, so to speak, so that they're that right energy

Speaker:

to attract the right clients and to build their businesses.

Speaker:

And I know we all suffer from a lot of trauma.

Speaker:

So I'm excited to learn about how you help with trauma and energy work.

Speaker:

So we're really glad to have you here today.

Speaker:

There's so much to this topic.

Speaker:

So narrowing it down is the challenge.

Speaker:

So I've noticed in the five years that I've been doing Psyche K and biofield

Speaker:

tuning, that a lot of the people that come to me are either also healers

Speaker:

or coaches, people who are on this entrepreneurial journey and to start

Speaker:

to see this pattern in my clients and who I started working with and how I've

Speaker:

There are like these common threads to the earliest trauma, like before age

Speaker:

four, and how that can be impacting our ability to move forward in our businesses

Speaker:

or to attract clients and abundance and the goals and the dreams that we have.

Speaker:

So it's been really fascinating to see how, especially those earliest imprints

Speaker:

for entrepreneurs who start to see these same patterns showing up again and again.

Speaker:

And.

Speaker:

When you start looking at some of those earliest things like womb trauma or birth

Speaker:

trauma, a lot of times those can be the deepest imprints that are holding us back.

Speaker:

And what I find with those earliest imprints is a lot of us tend to, with

Speaker:

mindset work and things, we're working with a lot of stuff that's more our

Speaker:

conscious memories and our identity.

Speaker:

And what we think.

Speaker:

The traumas are that are blocking us, but sometimes long before the trauma

Speaker:

that we remember at seven or eight, there was already something in play from

Speaker:

birth or womb, or even earlier, that is playing out way below the surface.

Speaker:

And when people start to clear those, a lot of these things that they've been

Speaker:

struggling with in their business or life, just start to shift and open for them.

Speaker:

That's amazing.

Speaker:

So now when you talk about trauma, you're talking about can be physical, can be

Speaker:

emotional, All different kinds of trauma.

Speaker:

Is that right?

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

So when I'm talking about trauma, I'm talking about capital T trauma, pervasive

Speaker:

trauma, or something that was so significant that it left a deep imprint.

Speaker:

So birth trauma can be anything from forceps to other kinds of interventions

Speaker:

or being separated from your mother.

Speaker:

Right after birth and then womb trauma can be lots of factors that were going

Speaker:

on in your parents relationship or maybe I've had a number of clients where their

Speaker:

mom had lost a child before conceiving them and a lot of that fear and worry

Speaker:

and anxiety is something that they picked up in the womb and then affects

Speaker:

them subconsciously all the time.

Speaker:

There's people who grow up with.

Speaker:

Maybe less significant trauma, like maybe little t trauma and that can leave wounds.

Speaker:

So I think of wounds as maybe not so much physical or emotional abuse, but more like

Speaker:

those kinds of things where the pecking order where you were in the sibling.

Speaker:

So like I'm a middle child and then I can see how being a middle

Speaker:

child and the little sister impacts my business all the time.

Speaker:

And has been something that I've had to bring into my awareness in order to step

Speaker:

into leadership that because that identity is so strong of being the little sister.

Speaker:

It's interesting to see how, when we get into the dynamic of a family, even

Speaker:

a lot of those things that may not be big scars, they affect our identity.

Speaker:

And so we can grow up in a loving family with fairly easy,

Speaker:

easygoing parents or whatever.

Speaker:

But if we had a difficult birth, that trauma could have set our nervous system

Speaker:

at like high alert from that early experience that could be manifesting

Speaker:

in ways in our life that maybe We don't understand because for someone where

Speaker:

there's that disconnect, oh, but I grew up in a good family and I don't

Speaker:

understand why I have this deep feeling of fear and not feeling safe in the world.

Speaker:

So, there are so many layers to us as human beings.

Speaker:

And so I guess what I noticed in my own healing journey

Speaker:

and with many of my clients.

Speaker:

Is when they've been on the journey for years and years, and they've done

Speaker:

tons of inner work, tons of mindset work, and maybe tons of coaching.

Speaker:

If they still have these patterns and these blocks that that

Speaker:

they just can't seem to shift.

Speaker:

I would encourage them.

Speaker:

to maybe if they don't know their birth story or they don't know what their

Speaker:

womb experience might have been like.

Speaker:

If their parents are still alive, being able to have a conversation where you get

Speaker:

that information can reveal so much that you can then unlock with energy work.

Speaker:

With BioTuning, Is it important to know the trauma?

Speaker:

Because like you said, a lot of this happens before we're four.

Speaker:

So do we have to bring it into our consciousness in order to have biotuning

Speaker:

actually heal us on a vibrational level?

Speaker:

Great question.

Speaker:

So with biofield tuning, we're using tuning forks to work with the energy

Speaker:

field of the body or the biofield.

Speaker:

And our biofields actually hold the record of our whole life.

Speaker:

So every experience Every emotion, every memory, your perceptions,

Speaker:

your thoughts, all that information, including the information of your

Speaker:

family, your ancestors, that can all be found in your biofield.

Speaker:

So, when people have an energy block, they may not even be aware of.

Speaker:

The forks will locate that blocked energy and you can actually feel it.

Speaker:

The vibration changes.

Speaker:

So the feel of the fork in my hand or the, the sound of the fork will change.

Speaker:

Sometimes it's just a, like an intuitive feeling, but you will

Speaker:

actually feel and sense in the field.

Speaker:

The blocked spot in the timeline and the forks then bring coherence.

Speaker:

So they locate it, but they also remedy it.

Speaker:

So that's the beauty of biofield tuning is you're working with frequency.

Speaker:

So all those subconscious blocks and maybe traumas or memories that

Speaker:

you don't consciously remember, but your body might remember, or it's

Speaker:

just recorded in your biofield.

Speaker:

The forks will resolve that with the coherent frequency.

Speaker:

And.

Speaker:

Then it can just open up the energy to your life.

Speaker:

So that's what I love about biofield.

Speaker:

Tuning is a lot of these things that can keep us blocked that are

Speaker:

so deeply embedded or ancestral.

Speaker:

So they're not even ours can be healed and resolved.

Speaker:

And then we're freed from that pattern of energy.

Speaker:

So it gets everything moving and just returns you to like your factory

Speaker:

setting, your divine blueprint.

Speaker:

It's true that if we could all start.

Speaker:

Energetically, is that perfect vibration that our body was meant to be in?

Speaker:

What are the possibilities?

Speaker:

And I love how you talk about the fact that you've worked with so

Speaker:

many people who have done the work.

Speaker:

I know Jeannie and I both love all of the energy work.

Speaker:

We're definitely into manifesting.

Speaker:

We've definitely done a lot of coaching and all types of different

Speaker:

things to resolve money blocks or to, to improve energy for manifesting

Speaker:

or just for a happier life.

Speaker:

But like you said, if there's things that we don't know about,

Speaker:

It's hard and sometimes I know that it's always going to be a journey.

Speaker:

We're always going to have some things that we're working on.

Speaker:

So when you talk about people coming to you who've done the

Speaker:

work, what happens after there?

Speaker:

Is it like one tuning session?

Speaker:

Or are there multiples to get to the different layers of

Speaker:

the traumas and the wounds?

Speaker:

That's very individual.

Speaker:

It's one of those things where somebody can have one session and

Speaker:

have a breakthrough energetically.

Speaker:

And then It's one of those things where energetically

Speaker:

there's always room to evolve.

Speaker:

So it's, it's really up to the person to decide, like, how do they see it

Speaker:

fitting in maybe a regime they already have going, or, or if they really have

Speaker:

reached this point where they're tired of trying to figure it out by themselves.

Speaker:

And they want to do several weeks or months of.

Speaker:

Um, tunings to see what they can shift.

Speaker:

It's very much an individual person's decision to see what is

Speaker:

going on and how blocked they feel.

Speaker:

And I guess it really does depend how frustrated are they.

Speaker:

And, but yes, it's one of those.

Speaker:

Situations where each session is very unique and really tunes in

Speaker:

to that person's unique story and their biofield is unique to them.

Speaker:

And there are so many applications of the ways the forts can be used as well.

Speaker:

I've given several clients sessions for their business, where we've actually

Speaker:

tuned the consciousness of their business because it helps to align Their energy

Speaker:

with the consciousness of their business.

Speaker:

And several of the clients had immediate results and changes in the way that

Speaker:

they felt about their marketing.

Speaker:

Even they went from feeling so disconnected from their business

Speaker:

and feeling at odds with it and feeling like it was sucking them

Speaker:

dry to actually having joy again in thinking about their business.

Speaker:

I'm thinking Jeannie and I definitely need, we need sessions together

Speaker:

individually and for the business.

Speaker:

And it's really funny because of the business partnership, we get on really

Speaker:

well, we have different skills, we bring different things to the company.

Speaker:

But you know what, we always joke when it's time to write copy,

Speaker:

whether it's emails or sales copy.

Speaker:

We're like two six year olds bickering, right?

Speaker:

Because as a company, we're bringing two different voices and two

Speaker:

different perspectives to the table.

Speaker:

So that can always be challenging.

Speaker:

And then one of the other things we were often talking about over the years is

Speaker:

we're often not in vibrational alignment.

Speaker:

So like I may be really in flow and super excited and things are great.

Speaker:

And for whatever reason, she's at the toilet.

Speaker:

Or vice versa, she's in really good flow and great vibration and

Speaker:

I'm in the toilet, so to speak.

Speaker:

So we were, we have been talking about, we constantly do, we have a

Speaker:

part of a mastermind on Monday where we have a coach and we're constantly

Speaker:

working on our energy and our mindset.

Speaker:

So we are working on that, but I'm just thinking like, how cool would it be if

Speaker:

we were both at the same vibrational frequency, like in flow at the same time.

Speaker:

And that's what's so fascinating when tune a business, the

Speaker:

consciousness of the business.

Speaker:

Will it like messages will come through either I'll get them or the client

Speaker:

will get them and it's gives you the space to hear what your business wants.

Speaker:

Right?

Speaker:

Because it is its own consciousness and it has a desire to manifest in the world.

Speaker:

And it's like a relationship, it's like any kind of relationship, right?

Speaker:

Where it has its needs.

Speaker:

And you need to honor its needs, but it also needs to honor your needs and what

Speaker:

you're capable of and what you bring to the table and what your gifts are.

Speaker:

Both you, it adds a whole layer of complexity when you have a

Speaker:

business partner because it's two very different people's energies.

Speaker:

And then you have this third, you know, energy of the business at play.

Speaker:

And there's so much that we can learn when we start working with

Speaker:

things on the energetic level.

Speaker:

And I'm fascinated by the energetics behind like even our day to day

Speaker:

fluctuations of our energies and what could be going on for us

Speaker:

astrologically or numerology wise.

Speaker:

And yeah, there's so many factors to us.

Speaker:

And all of a sudden I'm thinking now, if the business has a voice in the copyright,

Speaker:

it's going to be three six year olds bickering over what we're going to say.

Speaker:

No, but that makes sense because we always talk about when people

Speaker:

have a business, it's almost like birthing that baby, right?

Speaker:

Like it is a baby.

Speaker:

It is yours, right?

Speaker:

But it is its own identity.

Speaker:

It is its own.

Speaker:

It is its own thing.

Speaker:

So I've never really thought about what the business wants and getting

Speaker:

in that vibrational frequency of having all three of us in alignment,

Speaker:

Jeannie, myself, and then the business.

Speaker:

That would be the trifecta of magic.

Speaker:

That would be amazing, yeah.

Speaker:

I never thought about that either, that the business itself has its own energy.

Speaker:

But it totally makes sense.

Speaker:

But yeah, we just need to figure out how to flow ours into there and make it big.

Speaker:

Yeah, and it's, a couple of the clients that I've done the business

Speaker:

sessions for, They've been in business for quite a few years, and they've

Speaker:

really struggled and it's just like, with any other relationship,

Speaker:

when you have that much hardship in your history, that impacts that

Speaker:

relationship and that energy exchange.

Speaker:

I think that was the biggest shift for each of these clients.

Speaker:

I did these business sessions with was, they just felt like it had cleared.

Speaker:

The history, which is that troubled past with their business, and it

Speaker:

just freed them up to move forward.

Speaker:

Quite a few of them had hit some hardship around three, four years ago with

Speaker:

everything that was going on in the world.

Speaker:

And it's just really impacted them so that they haven't quite moved past that.

Speaker:

The business and they haven't yet moved through that trauma

Speaker:

of how things have changed.

Speaker:

So it was, Fascinating to see how tuning could just free that energy

Speaker:

and breathe new life into their relationship with their business.

Speaker:

And I love how you said they got their marketing voice.

Speaker:

In alignment, like they, they finally got to, because again, it's like you said,

Speaker:

you have trauma or you're thinking about all the things that you've tried that have

Speaker:

failed, or you're listening to a hundred different gurus on what you should do.

Speaker:

It is hard to find that messaging and be consistent with it.

Speaker:

I think it's amazing that once they're in that vibrational, they

Speaker:

cleared all the gunk and they're in a good vibrational energy, then

Speaker:

that all that kind of flows to them.

Speaker:

So that's amazing.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

And I think we see it a lot with people, especially with

Speaker:

video, because we know how.

Speaker:

Powerful video marketing can be, but to get people to feel into everything

Speaker:

that they have to offer and not just be paranoid about looking at that

Speaker:

little green light that's on your camera is, yeah, can be challenging.

Speaker:

And actually Jeannie, I'm so glad you brought that up because so many people

Speaker:

I meet, Struggle with marketing, mainly because of a visibility wound, right?

Speaker:

Like there, and I know that for me, 4 or 5 years ago, when I started my

Speaker:

business, that was a huge obstacle for me.

Speaker:

And I did a lot of inner work to work through that.

Speaker:

And.

Speaker:

It was interesting because I had signed up for some marketing courses

Speaker:

and video courses and things.

Speaker:

And the common advice you get from the coaching industry is

Speaker:

feel the fear and do it anyway.

Speaker:

But the issue that someone like me, who has a real deep seated

Speaker:

trauma of being seen, that's advice that can really run counter to.

Speaker:

To their inner child, and their sense of safety in the world.

Speaker:

So plowing through that sort of aggressively for the sake of, like,

Speaker:

trying to be good at business and because you're following the coaching

Speaker:

advice, if you plow ahead, And your inner child is freaking out, it's

Speaker:

going to pop up somewhere else, right?

Speaker:

That inner child is in, it's also like parts work where your inner child,

Speaker:

you can have these protector parts.

Speaker:

And so if you're plowing ahead with this notion of feel the fear and do it

Speaker:

anyway, but you have a real problem.

Speaker:

Fear and your inner child's freaking out, then it's going to come up in

Speaker:

like all these self sabotage ways, but really that self sabotage is also,

Speaker:

it's just our protector parts and our inner child wanting to keep us safe.

Speaker:

So that's the beauty of going back and healing the, the deep wound

Speaker:

that's there and working through it.

Speaker:

Because then.

Speaker:

Rather than forcing yourself to do something that really feels that

Speaker:

creates so much inner conflict that then you're going to procrastinate or you're

Speaker:

going to be a perfectionist, right?

Speaker:

You're going to do all those coping mechanisms, right?

Speaker:

That we do to protect ourselves when we get to that deeper underlying thing.

Speaker:

Fear that's there with the visibility, or maybe there's a belief about not

Speaker:

being heard or not being good enough.

Speaker:

And there's such a variety of wounds that we can have that

Speaker:

hold us back in our business.

Speaker:

And so anyone who's got deep seated trauma or very early trauma, a lot of

Speaker:

the coaching advice can feel so scary.

Speaker:

And actually, in some ways, it can just not be appropriate for that person.

Speaker:

To plow through something that just needs some attention and awareness and love.

Speaker:

That's interesting.

Speaker:

And another way that I think we see it on a regular basis

Speaker:

is around hiring help, right?

Speaker:

Because we focus on helping our clients with virtual assistants and getting the

Speaker:

support in their business that they need.

Speaker:

And sometimes we'll have conversations with people and what we do is perfect

Speaker:

for them, but you can tell that they're holding themselves back because they

Speaker:

don't feel worthy of having help.

Speaker:

They don't feel worthy of having that support.

Speaker:

They keep buying coaching programs and which is great.

Speaker:

They have all this great advice and all these things they can do, but they don't

Speaker:

have enough hours in the day to do it all.

Speaker:

So then that, that cycle of beating themselves up and beating themselves up

Speaker:

because they they're not doing it all.

Speaker:

And so that would be interesting to think about what would be the

Speaker:

wound or how can we heal those wounds so that we understand.

Speaker:

That we deserve to have support in our business.

Speaker:

And that once and for all understanding that the entrepreneurial journey doesn't

Speaker:

have to be isolating and lonely, you don't have to reach burnout to be successful.

Speaker:

And I think that's something that Jeannie and I are very passionate about.

Speaker:

So if we have anyone, we see that is fighting the support that they

Speaker:

need, maybe we can talk to them about having a session or two with you.

Speaker:

That is such a good point because.

Speaker:

For many people, they have a coping mechanism or a trauma

Speaker:

pattern that when they are triggered, they go into isolation.

Speaker:

And if you think that having a business can be triggering on so many levels that

Speaker:

for many of us, that's the fight flight.

Speaker:

Freeze response and now there's also the font.

Speaker:

So now fight flight has turned into fight, flight, freeze and fun.

Speaker:

So the freeze response shows up in that way that perfectionism plays out right

Speaker:

or procrastinating and the flight.

Speaker:

Is the hiding, right?

Speaker:

Like the people who hide, they can't trust, they can't trust others.

Speaker:

A lot of that comes from our early experiences.

Speaker:

So the worthiness is so tied into being able to trust others.

Speaker:

And when we have any kinds of beliefs that others always disappoint us.

Speaker:

Or I'm not worthy to get the help I want, or my needs are never met.

Speaker:

What I want is not available to me.

Speaker:

And there's so many core beliefs that we pick up in childhood that any number

Speaker:

of those could be operating, making someone think that they're, They don't

Speaker:

deserve to have the help they need.

Speaker:

This has been absolutely fascinating.

Speaker:

One quick question before we, I know we've got to cut it short here, Jeanne,

Speaker:

but what's the fawn, the fight, flight?

Speaker:

Fawn is if you think of doe or like a deer fawning.

Speaker:

So that's where you appease others.

Speaker:

It's people pleasers.

Speaker:

That is the fawn response.

Speaker:

So that's where you play along.

Speaker:

You, it's self abandonment.

Speaker:

You abandon yourself and you go into the role of Focusing on that person or

Speaker:

focusing on their needs, or if you had a domineering parent and who maybe had

Speaker:

a rage problem, you, everyone would try to walk on eggshells and keep the peace.

Speaker:

That's a fun response.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

I think a lot of women do that in their business because they feel like

Speaker:

they have to do everything themselves.

Speaker:

They feel like they have to please everyone when they, and what, in

Speaker:

order to be successful, what you really need to do is just figure

Speaker:

out what are your boundaries.

Speaker:

And then what can you outsource to other people?

Speaker:

That's not your unique ability.

Speaker:

So absolutely Sheila, this is amazing and so fascinating.

Speaker:

I love hearing about it.

Speaker:

I love learning more about it.

Speaker:
