Speaker:

In today's episode, we welcome back Jeffrey Allen, who is a very well

Speaker:

known energy healer and has brought this important work of working with

Speaker:

our own energy, shifting and expanding our energy, to millions of people.

Speaker:

In today's episode, we go profoundly deep.

Speaker:

We dive deep into how you can shift your energy when you're

Speaker:

experiencing fear, especially when you're scrolling on social media.

Speaker:

When you are listening or reading the news and you're feeling anxiety,

Speaker:

you're experiencing fear about the state of the world, you're experiencing

Speaker:

uncertainty, how can you work with your energy in the most powerful way?

Speaker:

In the moments where it matters the most?

Speaker:

We also go deep into how you can shift when you feel stuck energetically in

Speaker:

any area of your life, whether it's relationships, whether it's manifesting

Speaker:

abundance, attracting a conscious partner, how can you get unstuck, so to speak?

Speaker:

And there are many golden nuggets here because there's so many spiritual traps

Speaker:

where our ego interferes with our journey.

Speaker:

You can be highly conscious and deep on the journey, and yet I

Speaker:

know there will be so many powerful golden nuggets for you there.

Speaker:

We also go deep into how you can communicate with spirit guides.

Speaker:

What does that even mean?

Speaker:

What is the difference between a ghost?

Speaker:

Are there dark evil entities?

Speaker:

Do they hijack people's consciousness?

Speaker:

Today we really talked about so many different, extremely important topics.

Speaker:

And then we go full circle and talk at the end about what is most important for

Speaker:

us to focus on right now in our journey.

Speaker:

And this applies to every single soul.

Speaker:

If you haven't yet subscribed to the show, I invite you to do so,

Speaker:

so you never miss the next episode.

Speaker:

Thank you for being here.

Speaker:

Jeffrey, what I wanna dive into straight here, which I believe is really important

Speaker:

and we'll speak to so many listeners and viewers, is that we're constantly

Speaker:

bombarded with so much information.

Speaker:

I, I'd say more than ever, much of it is negative and feels perhaps even

Speaker:

threatening to our nervous system, and also even our sense of identity.

Speaker:

Algorithms are becoming increasingly sophisticated at hijacking our attention

Speaker:

and, and, and causing emotional reactivity from us, ultimately.

Speaker:

From, from your perspective, how do we remain sovereign?

Speaker:

How do we protect our energy?

Speaker:

Couple things.

Speaker:

So one is, uh, just being aware that, uh, of all the information that's

Speaker:

coming in, first you wanna know that, uh, this is, uh, this is not

Speaker:

representative of everything as a whole.

Speaker:

So the stuff that gets through is usually kind of the, the loudest, uh,

Speaker:

the noisiest, uh, sometimes the most disturbing or eye catching, you know,

Speaker:

the things that get your attention.

Speaker:

And so if you're, if you're in a position where you're feeling like, oh, the, I'm

Speaker:

really depressed by when I'm, you know, all this information that's coming in,

Speaker:

or I'm feeling like my energy is drained by all this information coming in, now

Speaker:

the first thing you wanna do is kind of, uh, rather than shutting down, which is

Speaker:

kind of our natural reaction to do it, is you want to, uh, actually expand.

Speaker:

So you wanna say, okay, I'm gonna, I'm just gonna take a moment.

Speaker:

I'm gonna kind of go within kind of calm myself.

Speaker:

Could, could be anywhere.

Speaker:

You could just be, uh, you know, if you're at work, maybe

Speaker:

just go in and wash your hands.

Speaker:

Do something to kind of get away from the noise for a moment, and then

Speaker:

instead of contracting your senses and your awareness, let it expand.

Speaker:

So what's beyond this noise?

Speaker:

What's beyond this message that I'm hearing that things are terrible or

Speaker:

beyond this conflict that I'm seeing?

Speaker:

And as soon as you ask that question, what'll happen is your, your energy

Speaker:

focus, which is kind of tightly focused on the information that's being sent to

Speaker:

you, the information that somebody wants you to focus on, and your attention when

Speaker:

you say what is beyond it sort of opens up and you start to see, oh, there's

Speaker:

a lot of other stuff happening too.

Speaker:

If it's a particular situation, like if there's a, a conflict or a war going on.

Speaker:

For me, when I open up and say, uh, what's, what's beyond this?

Speaker:

What's beyond this message?

Speaker:

I start to notice others people, right?

Speaker:

There's people in these countries, there's people in this government

Speaker:

or in this organization.

Speaker:

And, uh, these people have families, these people have hearts, they have

Speaker:

lives, they laugh, they do things.

Speaker:

Suddenly when you start noticing, uh, it's just, people behind things already, kind

Speaker:

of the temperature goes down, you start to notice, oh, maybe I'm not so different.

Speaker:

Start noticing the similarities.

Speaker:

So that's the first thing I'd recommend.

Speaker:

Instead of, instead of closing down, you actually wanna like open up to the, the

Speaker:

broader picture and the broader message.

Speaker:

Because, you know, when I do that, what I've seen energetically is that there's a,

Speaker:

a much brighter and more beautiful picture or like reality, uh, in the world than the

Speaker:

little messages that we're getting through social media and the news and so on.

Speaker:

So that's first.

Speaker:

Um, second thing, if you're feeling like you do need to, uh, kind

Speaker:

of protect yourself, if you, if, if you're feeling disturbed, you

Speaker:

can always, uh, just imagine kind of, you have gotten right here.

Speaker:

There's a tool from my, uh, duality class that I teach.

Speaker:

This one actually came out of, um, uh, many teachings came from, um,

Speaker:

uh, Lewis Boswick, originally back in a Berkeley Psych Institute.

Speaker:

And so you just kind of imagine that there is, uh, a rose about

Speaker:

arms linked in front of you.

Speaker:

And you're just giving, uh, permission for you to have this

Speaker:

space between you and the rows.

Speaker:

So basically, I would say I have permission, I have a hundred percent

Speaker:

permission to have this space between the rows and my body, just for me.

Speaker:

I don't have to have anybody else's information or energy

Speaker:

or ideas or goals in that area.

Speaker:

This is just for me.

Speaker:

And I'm gonna give permission for everybody else to have all the

Speaker:

rest of space in the universe.

Speaker:

So, all I really need is this space around me, my or my energy field.

Speaker:

I want that to be clean for me, but everything else is okay.

Speaker:

And so instead of going from a, a place of resistance and fighting and

Speaker:

trying to like, you know, protect yourself in some way, you wanna

Speaker:

use this idea of permission, and, uh, it's just much more powerful.

Speaker:

And, and this, this little, uh, you can imagine with somebody that comes

Speaker:

up this be of conflict with, you could just visualize a rose or just, it could

Speaker:

be just a little bubble if you're, if a rose is hard to visualize, just imagine

Speaker:

a little bubble between you and them.

Speaker:

And again, just with that idea that I give myself permission to have this

Speaker:

space between this bubble and myself, and then I give you permission to have all

Speaker:

the rest of the space in the universe.

Speaker:

And that's like a really generous offer.

Speaker:

Most people will take that offer.

Speaker:

You know, it's, it's, it's very generous rather than very kind

Speaker:

of a restricted and in type.

Speaker:

That's very profound.

Speaker:

Uh, about your first point that you made, would you say that anyone who

Speaker:

is doom scrolling or seeing negative messages and they're feeling this

Speaker:

activation inside themselves, they're feeling I need to protect myself,

Speaker:

everything is falling apart, collapsing.

Speaker:

It's kind of a death is near experience, a fear of death,

Speaker:

not a meditation about death.

Speaker:

Um, would you say that in that moment we're not aware of the bigger

Speaker:

picture of what's actually happening?

Speaker:

We're only seeing through the lens of a specific negative news in that moment?

Speaker:

Yeah, exactly.

Speaker:

It's like there was a photograph, right?

Speaker:

So the message that you're getting is like, uh, just imagine a little

Speaker:

photograph of whatever social media you're seeing or whatever internet

Speaker:

thing you're seeing, or the news.

Speaker:

If it's right in front of your face like this, then you know, everywhere

Speaker:

you look it's like, oh, this is real.

Speaker:

This is real, this is real.

Speaker:

This is really scary.

Speaker:

Oh, no.

Speaker:

Oh, it's, it's real up here too.

Speaker:

It's real over here.

Speaker:

Like for where it's real.

Speaker:

But when you start to like, give yourself a little space, you

Speaker:

know what, what's beyond that?

Speaker:

What you're doing is you're kind of pushing this information back and then

Speaker:

all of a sudden it's like, oh, oh, there's, there's, there's a lot of

Speaker:

information, there's a lot of energy, there's a lot of situations happening.

Speaker:

It's not just this one thing that was overwhelming my senses.

Speaker:

So I just gotta push it back, get a little distance.

Speaker:

Then pretty soon you'll be like, ah, actually that's not even,

Speaker:

not, that's not even important.

Speaker:

It's just one tiny little sliver of information.

Speaker:

It is profound and, and when you set up, when you set about feeling

Speaker:

into other people's hearts, for instance, when I heard that, I could

Speaker:

immediately feel a, a relaxation.

Speaker:

What, what is that, when we feel into other people?

Speaker:

What's happening to our energy then?

Speaker:

Because I feel this at an embodied level when you speak about it, but

Speaker:

can you shine more light on that?

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

What's happening there?

Speaker:

Uh, well, a couple things.

Speaker:

So definitely, uh, you are, when you're connecting with people in that way,

Speaker:

uh, it's not just something that you're visualizing in your mind or kind of

Speaker:

imagining, but what's happening is you're energetically, you're coming into,

Speaker:

uh, coherence with these other people.

Speaker:

So, you know, all of us, I like to think of it like, um, think of

Speaker:

our body like a, a guitar, right?

Speaker:

So it's if you were, if you had two guitars, you know, in the same tuning and

Speaker:

you pick one up and you start, you know, plucking one of the strings, you'll notice

Speaker:

that the other guitar also vibrates.

Speaker:

Even though you're not touching it, you're not playing it, right?

Speaker:

Uh, same thing.

Speaker:

We've got a, a harp at our house.

Speaker:

My wife likes to play the harp.

Speaker:

And if, if you're, if I'm sitting next to it eating dinner and I

Speaker:

happen to like cough or something, you'll hear the harp go whoa.

Speaker:

Wow.

Speaker:

Even though I'm not touching it, right?

Speaker:

And, uh, uh, people are the same way.

Speaker:

You know, ener energetically, our bodies are like, you know, if you talk about

Speaker:

the chakras, it's like a bunch of, uh, microphones and speakers all together.

Speaker:

So, uh, we're always picking up, you know, the frequencies of others in our body.

Speaker:

If somebody, if you're feeling sad, you might ask yourself, uh, am I

Speaker:

feeling sad or am I feeling sadness?

Speaker:

So if I'm feeling sad, that's, that's like, I've identified with it

Speaker:

and, and I'm sad, but if I notice, actually I'm feeling sadness, then the

Speaker:

next question would be, is it mine?

Speaker:

Actually, it's not mine.

Speaker:

I, I feel it deeply.

Speaker:

I feel this sadness, but it's actually not mine.

Speaker:

Oh, interesting.

Speaker:

So that means I don't, right away, I don't need to do something to fix it.

Speaker:

I don't need to ask why it's there, but all of a sudden I, I go right

Speaker:

to compassion, like, oh, somebody, somebody else is circulating this

Speaker:

energy of sadness and I'm, I'm picking it up because I'm sensitive.

Speaker:

I'm human, and they're human.

Speaker:

So automatically we're feeling, you know, I'm feeling the same thing as them.

Speaker:

Uh, so in this, in this bigger picture, when you're tuning into people and

Speaker:

kind of noticing them, even at a great distance, the same thing is happening,

Speaker:

same thing you're noticing, like I said, oh, there's, there's people behind that

Speaker:

government or behind that organization, and there's those people have families

Speaker:

and they have kids, and they have parents.

Speaker:

And all of a sudden you start noticing, oh, they're not just

Speaker:

a, a scary name or a scary photo.

Speaker:

Uh, they're a human.

Speaker:

And you're going into resonance with them and noticing that, oh,

Speaker:

we're, we're actually quite similar probably in a lot of beautiful ways.

Speaker:

Rather than focusing on, you know, the one little place where like, we're very

Speaker:

different and then going Help, help, help.

Speaker:

We're different.

Speaker:

We're different.

Speaker:

It's scary.

Speaker:

It's terrible, you know.

Speaker:

And what you said about sad, I'm feeling sad or feeling sadness as opposed, the

Speaker:

same applies also to a fear narrative.

Speaker:

For instance, if someone sees any kind of fear narrative, um, and they might

Speaker:

say I'm feeling fear, but actually they might be actually feeling the

Speaker:

fear of someone else's narrative.

Speaker:

Exactly.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

It's like, am I afraid or am I just, is there just an energy of fear that's

Speaker:

circulating, and because my body responds to that, I'm like, I'm identifying

Speaker:

with and saying Ooh, now I'm afraid.

Speaker:

So instead that same thing, say, oh, am I afraid or am I feeling the energy of fear?

Speaker:

Am I, is the energy of fear circulating through me?

Speaker:

When you start to see the world from an energy perspective,

Speaker:

it's really interesting.

Speaker:

You notice like, oh yeah, my body is this sensitive, beautiful instrument,

Speaker:

picking up all kinds of emotions and thoughts and, and feelings from everybody.

Speaker:

And if, if I identify it all as me, if I don't understand that

Speaker:

I'm resonating with other people, it can feel very overwhelming.

Speaker:

but once you get that, it, it's kind of fun actually.

Speaker:

Like, ooh, there's fear circulating here.

Speaker:

I wonder what that's about.

Speaker:

I'm curious.

Speaker:

I wanna find out more, you know, and then, Hey, maybe I can even help.

Speaker:

And in that moment there is already a sense of detachment

Speaker:

and space, isn't there?

Speaker:

The moment we say there is fear circulating, rather than I am

Speaker:

experiencing fear or I am fearful.

Speaker:

Yeah, it's expansion, but it's not expansion.

Speaker:

Sometimes people take, think of expansion, like I'm somehow getting

Speaker:

bigger or broader, or like my energy is expanding in some way.

Speaker:

That could be true, but really what the goal is just that

Speaker:

my awareness is expanding.

Speaker:

I'm aware of more information, more connection.

Speaker:

I'm seeing a broader perspective.

Speaker:

I'm not focused on, uh, just some tiny detail here.

Speaker:

Something else I wanted to ask you is that we see many spiritually, highly

Speaker:

intelligent people, people who are deeply committed to their spiritual journey,

Speaker:

and often there's this one area or maybe two areas where they somehow feel stuck.

Speaker:

They're doing so much work, but in this one area, whether it's relationship

Speaker:

or manifesting a conscious partner or their purpose or whatever it is, there's

Speaker:

this one area where they feel stuck.

Speaker:

And they seem to feel unable to shift their reality.

Speaker:

What would you say is the most, is the most common reason for that?

Speaker:

boy.

Speaker:

There's, uh, there's lots of reasons.

Speaker:

One, that, the one that pops up when you're, uh, when you're talking.

Speaker:

So maybe, you know, if you, if you're listening to us here,

Speaker:

maybe you relate to this.

Speaker:

As we're moving along at kind of our spiritual personal growth path, when

Speaker:

we start feeling like we're making some progress, like, oh, I've, I'm doing, I'm

Speaker:

sort of lined up my actions with my, my, my inner goals and my true desires, and

Speaker:

I feel like I'm living from my heart and like I'm feeling very kind of successful

Speaker:

in this way, what we notice is that, um, like in that state, I speak for myself

Speaker:

because I'm, I'm feeling like, oh, this new me is really amazing, this new me is

Speaker:

a lot better than the old me, suddenly I'm setting up this, this judgment, right?

Speaker:

So, uh, the old me was kind of like lame because it didn't do

Speaker:

the things the new me is doing.

Speaker:

Now, now I'm good.

Speaker:

So before I must've been like less good or bad in some way.

Speaker:

This is kind of the, the root of the energy.

Speaker:

But what we see is that, that that'll project out onto everybody else.

Speaker:

So that's why you see people that are doing really great in their, you know, in

Speaker:

their growth and their personal growth, but they become very self-righteous.

Speaker:

So we start and we see, I mentioned this 'cause this is,

Speaker:

this is happening to a lot of us.

Speaker:

You know, I, I've, I've been through it myself.

Speaker:

I see everybody going through it where, uh, at some point you start noticing, oh,

Speaker:

I'm judging everybody who isn't like me.

Speaker:

Like, oh, that person's not exercising like I am now.

Speaker:

Like they're, I was outta shape and then I got into shape.

Speaker:

And now people that were outta shape, they're outta shape

Speaker:

now somehow or less than me.

Speaker:

So I'm judging those people.

Speaker:

Or, uh, maybe it's, it's about foods, but I changed my diet.

Speaker:

Now I'm living in a way that feels healthy to me.

Speaker:

So everybody not eating like me, there's something wrong with them.

Speaker:

Or, uh, oh, I'm, I'm meditating now.

Speaker:

I didn't use to meditate.

Speaker:

So if you're not meditating like me, there's something wrong with you, right?

Speaker:

And so this is, I I mention it because it's not only is it common, but it's

Speaker:

something that's almost always overlooked.

Speaker:

Uh, we see it in other people, like we see like, oh, that, that, that person is

Speaker:

just so judgmental and so fix on that.

Speaker:

But, but we, we just can't see it in ourselves often 'cause we

Speaker:

all think we're right, right?

Speaker:

And so, uh, and like I said, energetically, it's not really

Speaker:

about those other people.

Speaker:

It's not about, uh, judging or blaming those other people.

Speaker:

It's actually about myself.

Speaker:

And I haven't got to the point yet then saying I really love who I'm

Speaker:

becoming, and I loved who I was too.

Speaker:

It was totally okay that I was, you know, a year ago, I was in

Speaker:

a different place 10 years ago.

Speaker:

I was 10 years younger and maybe not as learned as I am now.

Speaker:

And you know, like all the things that, you know, every step along

Speaker:

the way was just, just fine.

Speaker:

And when you could get to that space, you notice that, oh, the people

Speaker:

around me are okay too, even though they're different than me, even

Speaker:

though they're doing things that I've learned to do differently still okay.

Speaker:

And, and we're judging ourselves, aren't we?

Speaker:

When, when we judge others.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Well, that's where it's coming from.

Speaker:

That's the energy behind it is has to do with us, right?

Speaker:

So on the surface, if you look at it, yeah, we're just judging

Speaker:

all the people around us.

Speaker:

But, uh, it's particularly funny, you know, for, yeah, like me, I, you know,

Speaker:

I, I was teaching energy work and people relate that to spirituality,

Speaker:

even though, I don't know, energy work is just energy work, right?

Speaker:

It just has to do with how things are moving, kinda the bigger picture, and.

Speaker:

But, uh, it's a little hard to explain and validate with science, so we

Speaker:

kind of group it in with spirituality and kinda fit seems to fit there.

Speaker:

But I didn't call myself this, but you'd see after my name, like Jeffrey Allen,

Speaker:

spiritual teacher and energy healer, and I'm like, what happened when,

Speaker:

when did I become a spiritual teacher?

Speaker:

And, and then I would look around, I'm like, you know, if

Speaker:

you knew what was really going on inside my head, you'd see that.

Speaker:

A lot of times I see somebody and, and I have a little snap judgment.

Speaker:

I'd be like, oh, that person's really, whatever, you know, whatever the label is.

Speaker:

And, uh, I started noticing it 'cause people are expecting more from me.

Speaker:

And I'm like, okay, something's funny here, right?

Speaker:

Something's, something's funny.

Speaker:

Why am if I, my vibration is high and I'm doing all these great

Speaker:

things, how can I also be really self-righteous and judgmental?

Speaker:

And, uh, that's when I started noticing this pattern in other people too.

Speaker:

And, you know, my wife Hisami helped me see it and get some clarity

Speaker:

around the details and the energy.

Speaker:

And, um, so it's, yeah, it's, it's a really fun one.

Speaker:

'cause once, once you see it, it's really easy to shift to amusement, to just kind

Speaker:

of laugh at myself and go Got it, okay.

Speaker:

And everything kind of softens.

Speaker:

And then the people that I feel are judgmental toward me, suddenly I'm not

Speaker:

so reactive to that anymore because I realize, oh, they're just doing the same

Speaker:

thing I'm doing about a different issue or the other side of the same issue.

Speaker:

And, and we're all, we're all working through this ability to love ourselves

Speaker:

at any state, rather than having to, uh, achieve some perfect way of being,

Speaker:

eating, thinking, talking, working, being in relationships and so on.

Speaker:

and could this even be connected to self-sabotage in a way?

Speaker:

So let's say I'm trying to step into a new identity, but I'm shaming my old

Speaker:

identity and I'm saying that part is bad, that part is wrong and should have

Speaker:

never been there and it's unacceptable.

Speaker:

Is there a correlation then between people falling back into

Speaker:

that old identity, so to speak?

Speaker:

Yeah, well, I'd say, uh, there's energetically nothing's changed, So the

Speaker:

circumstances around may have changed.

Speaker:

I might be eating differently, talking differently, doing different things.

Speaker:

But the energy is exactly the same if I'm still thinking that I'm not, that

Speaker:

I have to do something to be better, that I, that I'm, I'm not good enough,

Speaker:

just regardless of where I'm at, right?

Speaker:

So, so actually pe it's, what's happening there is we've changed all

Speaker:

of our outer stuff, but we're actually in the exact same state inside.

Speaker:

We just might be a little bit more polished, on the outside.

Speaker:

And this probably is one of the key answers and one of the most common reasons

Speaker:

as to why people find themselves stuck.

Speaker:

Because when they're fully honest with themselves, they might realize

Speaker:

that the energy itself hasn't shifted.

Speaker:

Maybe it shape shifted, but it's, it's still the same shape, so to speak.

Speaker:

It's still from unworthiness to now judging the old self

Speaker:

rather than having kindness and compassion and love toward the self.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

You, you're right on there.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

It's, um, it's funny, I, I was watching a video just the other day.

Speaker:

I happened to see this old video that I made.

Speaker:

It was like 2012 ish say, it was quite, quite a while ago, and I was

Speaker:

watching it and the thing that struck me was not how much I've changed,

Speaker:

but I really haven't changed at all.

Speaker:

That's what struck me.

Speaker:

I'm like, like, feels like I'm growing and expanding all the time, but if I

Speaker:

look back 10 years, 15 years ago, I was having the same kind of thoughts,

Speaker:

the same excitement about growth.

Speaker:

Like, I've really kind of, I'm just sort of always the same person, but

Speaker:

it feels like, feels different, right?

Speaker:

That's profound.

Speaker:

So loving the old self and having no judgment toward that.

Speaker:

And from that place of love, stepping into the true self or the self that, that feels

Speaker:

most aligned in that particular moment.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

I've got a, just a short, short story about that.

Speaker:

I was in, um, this is when I was in Sedona and, uh, I was, you know, I

Speaker:

was meditating every morning having these just beautiful visions, these

Speaker:

conversations with my spirit guides.

Speaker:

And, uh, they would give me little assignments, right?

Speaker:

And they were always just very short, very, very clear things.

Speaker:

And, uh, one time they said, uh, love yourself, just this,

Speaker:

like two word suggestion.

Speaker:

And I was like, whew, okay.

Speaker:

The two words, that's pretty big.

Speaker:

Okay, I'm gonna work.

Speaker:

So that week, I just, you know, kind of used all my tools, looked at

Speaker:

places where I wasn't loving myself.

Speaker:

I really worked on it.

Speaker:

And a and a week later, you know, just one week later, this

Speaker:

is how big my ego is, right?

Speaker:

So I came back one week later in meditation and I said I think I got it.

Speaker:

I think I made some big progress this week.

Speaker:

I really feel like I love myself now, you know?

Speaker:

And they said, good, yeah, you're, you're doing a good job now.

Speaker:

You love who you are.

Speaker:

Okay, so next step is love, who you were.

Speaker:

I was like, ah, much harder because they got it.

Speaker:

And I'm just loving, like who I think I am today.

Speaker:

My idea about who I am today, it's kinda like a, you know, this

Speaker:

was before social media was big.

Speaker:

But it, it's a, it's kinda like if you love a photo on Instagram of

Speaker:

yourself, it's your favorite photo.

Speaker:

That's great.

Speaker:

But how about loving all the photos that have ever been taken?

Speaker:

Like, just can you, you know, can you fully love who you were?

Speaker:

And it's, it's hard, isn't it, from a, when I say hard, I don't wanna attach

Speaker:

a limiting story or belief to it.

Speaker:

But when I say it can be or seemingly hard is because there is no real

Speaker:

tangible result based outcome.

Speaker:

We've been so conditioned to kind of approach the healing journey in

Speaker:

this kind of getting better and being perceived as better from the outside.

Speaker:

So if I'm being loving and compassionate towards myself, it's, there isn't

Speaker:

really a, a, well, there is a big result and liberation obviously, but

Speaker:

it's more internal and, and maybe perhaps people's egos, if I can say

Speaker:

it that way, perceive it as not really something that is important because

Speaker:

others won't perceive that necessarily.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

That's really interesting.

Speaker:

So, um, surprisingly, when we make this shift, we start really loving ourselves

Speaker:

more everybody around notices, right?

Speaker:

Because what's happening is we're circulating different energy.

Speaker:

So before I was circulating, I was circulating love, but I was

Speaker:

also circulating some judgment and some fear and some ideas.

Speaker:

And so I just kind of mixed energy circulating.

Speaker:

As I'm able to clear that out and become more coherent, where I'm like

Speaker:

more often circulating energy of love, not, not a hundred percent, but you

Speaker:

know, more often, people around me are noticing because they're catching my

Speaker:

energy all the time when I'm with them.

Speaker:

And so I've, I've had so many, uh, students and clients from the

Speaker:

years say something like this where they, they work on themselves.

Speaker:

They do this internal work, and they'll say, I can't believe it.

Speaker:

I, this one client said, I got done doing this exercise.

Speaker:

I got done.

Speaker:

Like, working on just my internal stuff.

Speaker:

And something really surprising happened.

Speaker:

My, my husband, the next time I saw him a couple hours later, he said, I don't

Speaker:

know why, but you are just glowing.

Speaker:

You are so sexy right now.

Speaker:

Like, you're just amazing, right?

Speaker:

And she's like, I didn't expect that 'cause I was meditating and kind of

Speaker:

clearing out some old stuff, you know.

Speaker:

And here's my husband's like, wow, you're, you're hot.

Speaker:

This is great.

Speaker:

You're beautiful.

Speaker:

She's like, this is great.

Speaker:

And he doesn't, um, he doesn't talk about energy with her.

Speaker:

He is not into the energy work stuff, but he could just feel it so strongly.

Speaker:

'cause she was, she was really resonating this coherent field of love.

Speaker:

Same, same thing At work.

Speaker:

People at people at work will notice, your friends will notice, like, uh, it's, uh,

Speaker:

probably a lot of you have had, had this happen where somebody else say something's

Speaker:

different about you, what's different?

Speaker:

And you know, 'cause it had some great experience or a great workshop over

Speaker:

the weekend or something happened.

Speaker:

So you know why you're sort of glowing, but um, you haven't told anybody.

Speaker:

They could still

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

It, it's, it's, it's remarkable how when our, when the, let's

Speaker:

using your language, when we are circulating a different energy, how

Speaker:

doing the same thing is no longer the same, how it completely changes.

Speaker:

And just to bring some bit of my personal story in there as well.

Speaker:

What I would notice is in the past, and I'm, that's my work, is a disconnect

Speaker:

between, for instance, I'd be coaching people or facilitating a men's group

Speaker:

or women's group, or it doesn't matter.

Speaker:

And I would feel on top of the world.

Speaker:

And then I would feel tension regarding other aspects in my

Speaker:

life or another area in my life.

Speaker:

Not in my intimate life, but another area or something admin related, for instance,

Speaker:

that that annoyed me, that irritated me.

Speaker:

But now I would bring that energy at home and, and that energy would be

Speaker:

circulating, not during the workshop, not during the facilitation, nowhere there.

Speaker:

But it would then circulate with those closest around me.

Speaker:

And that really led me to reflect deeply, wait a moment.

Speaker:

It's with those closest around me where I want to be most mindful, apart

Speaker:

from the deeper mission and service.

Speaker:

So would then maybe the approach to that for a person struggling with that,

Speaker:

where there is a sense of incoherence or disconnect as I just described,

Speaker:

the first step, I assume would be to bring kindness and compassion to, to

Speaker:

that energy to us finding ourselves in this state that we are resisting

Speaker:

or clearly don't want to be in?

Speaker:

You, you got it.

Speaker:

You're right on.

Speaker:

And yeah, you have to find, uh, compassion for yourself.

Speaker:

And in some ways, kind of imagine, if you, like, in this situation, like when,

Speaker:

when we're teaching workshops, you know, it's, it's really easy to get into that

Speaker:

beautiful vibration and state and, you know, everybody's looking at us, you know,

Speaker:

like seeing us in the beautiful lights.

Speaker:

It's easy for us to be us, sort of our brightest selves.

Speaker:

And it's easy to also see all the people in the room with compassion

Speaker:

and love, you know, to really just, I, I just love all the people that are

Speaker:

here and I'm, I'm wanting to help them and, and share useful information.

Speaker:

So there's just all this beautiful energy circulating.

Speaker:

But of course when we, when we do that, any heavy energies that are

Speaker:

in us are gonna start to come loose.

Speaker:

Here's an opportunity.

Speaker:

I'm resonating this vibration of love, resonating with these,

Speaker:

these you happy vibrations.

Speaker:

So the other stuff that's kind of stuck is kind of starting to vibrate

Speaker:

and getting ready to come off.

Speaker:

But it's not gonna happen in that situation.

Speaker:

It's gonna happen, like I said, it's gonna happen when you go home, then you

Speaker:

go home and like, like all this stuff is coming off and sort of you, the, the

Speaker:

lights turn down and you exhaustion's coming in and like, then all the heavy

Speaker:

stuff that was coming, coming loose, uh, there's an opportunity to, for

Speaker:

that to start circulating around you.

Speaker:

And if it does, you, you kind of have to think like, uh, can I see myself

Speaker:

with the same love that I would see somebody else in this situation?

Speaker:

If I, if I was helping somebody or a friend or a family member who's in that

Speaker:

situation, I would just see them and I have compassion for them and love and

Speaker:

know, like, tell 'em it's, it's gonna get better, you know, the energy's

Speaker:

gonna, you're gonna move through this.

Speaker:

And if I can treat myself the same way, it's gonna, it's

Speaker:

gonna move out and heal quickly.

Speaker:

But if I say, oh, what's wrong with me?

Speaker:

I can't believe it.

Speaker:

It's so inconsistent.

Speaker:

Everybody thinks I'm this level, but I'm really this level and blah, blah,

Speaker:

blah, I start getting, I start getting down to myself, uh, all I'm doing

Speaker:

is basically taking all this stuff that was ready to release, and then

Speaker:

I'm bringing it back to me, right?

Speaker:

I'm starting to circulate all this energy that it's, it's circulating in me, but

Speaker:

it's circulating on the way out, right?

Speaker:

I'm releasing heavy energies.

Speaker:

So you have to be mindful when you're releasing heavy

Speaker:

energies to, to that it's okay.

Speaker:

They're, they're on their way out.

Speaker:

Somehow, somehow it's, it's remarkably easier when you think about things

Speaker:

as energy because you, you get out of your mental ideas of what's possible

Speaker:

and not possible, and you get out of the idea that someone's to blame.

Speaker:

Just all this sort of disappears.

Speaker:

It's, it's a standard energy moving.

Speaker:

This makes it really easy to, um, to let things move.

Speaker:

And, and could this maybe explain why, let's say people going are going

Speaker:

through a psychedelic journey or they're going through a retreat, or they're

Speaker:

doing a powerful breath work journey, whatever, they're doing something

Speaker:

powerful, and whatever they're doing, it's getting them into a peak state?

Speaker:

So what I'm hearing you say is in that peak state, of course they feel all the

Speaker:

love, they feel they're like expanding and even maybe the ego will say, I'm

Speaker:

done now this is it, I have reached it.

Speaker:

And then a few days later, or maybe even a week later, that kind of starts

Speaker:

to subside, that peak state and like we feel maybe a heavy energy or some

Speaker:

small thing, something admin related or something breaks in the house or whatever.

Speaker:

Or in the apartment we start to feel this heavy energy.

Speaker:

So basically what follows the peak is the loosening of those heavy energies,

Speaker:

which are asking to be, to be released?

Speaker:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker:

That, that's, uh, that's a great way to describe it.

Speaker:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker:

'Cause as your, as your vibration's going up, you know, as, and we

Speaker:

can do that in a resonant field together, we can raise our vibration

Speaker:

with each other really powerfully.

Speaker:

Um, we let people notice this, you go to church and you're singing and you know,

Speaker:

or you're with friends, hiking, you know, with your, with a group, you can really,

Speaker:

you know, bring that vibration way up.

Speaker:

So, yeah.

Speaker:

Then the, the little energy is that we're stuck now.

Speaker:

They can, they can get out easily.

Speaker:

So you'll notice some, it's not, it's not a failure that a few

Speaker:

days later or a week later you're feeling, you're feeling this energy.

Speaker:

It's like, uh, it's success, right?

Speaker:

I, I asked for a great healing.

Speaker:

But maybe I misunderstood it, that the great healing always felt wonderful.

Speaker:

It's, it's like, it's like great, great healing, uh, that it gets to

Speaker:

wonderful, you know, but it, but the stuff that's coming out doesn't feel

Speaker:

wonderful, or you wouldn't, you wouldn't have any desire to heal it, right?

Speaker:

it could be that this is where a lot of people are feeling shame and, and maybe,

Speaker:

and I don't wanna say teachings are failing them or teachers are failing them.

Speaker:

I assuming everyone has good intent or most people have good intent.

Speaker:

But it can very quickly venture into a kind of shameful, um, perspective

Speaker:

of ourselves, can't, can it not?

Speaker:

Because it's, it's almost like, oh, if you haven't yet fully stepped into

Speaker:

the new identity, it means whatever it means you haven't gotten it, it

Speaker:

means you have more healing to do.

Speaker:

It means you have more this to do.

Speaker:

But maybe what I'm hearing you saying, correct me if that resonates, is well,

Speaker:

maybe it's exactly the way it should be, it's just we're labeling this

Speaker:

loosening of heavy energy as a total annihilating failure and, and meaning

Speaker:

that we've achieved and gone nowhere.

Speaker:

But in truth, it's, it's just part of that journey.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Yeah, just part of the journey and, and that's a great way to think about

Speaker:

it because there's, you know, in my experience we continue to grow and

Speaker:

grow and grow and expand and expand and get lighter and lighter and lighter.

Speaker:

Hopefully, you know, this, this isn't, uh, there isn't some a hundred percent

Speaker:

that we're reaching where it's like, ah, like you said earlier, the Eagle wants

Speaker:

to say, ah, I'm there now, I got it.

Speaker:

Ah, I'm enlightened.

Speaker:

I got there.

Speaker:

Well, I can tell you that's, uh, that's not gonna happen, right?

Speaker:

As long as you're in a body, right?

Speaker:

Life's gonna keep bringing stuff your way.

Speaker:

There's gonna be challenges.

Speaker:

There's gonna be ups and downs.

Speaker:

There's gonna be ebbs and flows, and this is okay.

Speaker:

The goal isn't to try to like always be in a happy state or

Speaker:

always be like good or perfect.

Speaker:

That that's a completely, uh, ludicrous goal.

Speaker:

It's just not possible.

Speaker:

It's like saying, I'm gonna, I'm gonna take my car and it's always

Speaker:

gonna be a hundred percent full or a hundred percent charged.

Speaker:

That's my goal.

Speaker:

You're like, well, how are you gonna get anywhere, right?

Speaker:

Because that's, that doesn't even make sense.

Speaker:

You, or you're gonna have to pick your car up and carry it around

Speaker:

them because you can't, you can't use any of the fuel or charge.

Speaker:

So it's, it's the same way you're gonna, it's always gonna be moving and flowing,

Speaker:

and that's, that's totally okay, yeah.

Speaker:

You talked, you already touched upon that.

Speaker:

You talked about communicating with your spirit guides.

Speaker:

I'd love to talk a little bit more about spirits and, and some specific

Speaker:

questions around that as well that become more practical as well.

Speaker:

You mentioned you communicate with your spirit guides.

Speaker:

How do you perceive your spirits and, and also how do you understand

Speaker:

their, their role and purpose in relation to, to humans, to this world?

Speaker:

Yeah, sure.

Speaker:

That's a great question.

Speaker:

That's, um, it's changed a lot over the years.

Speaker:

So I'd say, you know, when I was first communicating with, with guides,

Speaker:

it was, felt like it was sort of me asking things and then hoping I would

Speaker:

feel something or get something, or there'd be some sign or like, right.

Speaker:

It was just seemed a lot of really one way for a while, right?

Speaker:

And then as I, started focusing on the energy of things instead of the

Speaker:

physicality of things, I started noticing, oh, there are, there is a

Speaker:

lot of information coming and there's a lot of synchronicities happening.

Speaker:

There's a lot of, uh, even silly things.

Speaker:

Like I, I walked into a bookstore one time and this book literally fell

Speaker:

off the shelf in front of me and like landed at my feet and I picked it up

Speaker:

and all I saw was the title, which was not even an interesting title.

Speaker:

And I was like, this book looks really good.

Speaker:

You know, I was telling my friend that this really enthusiasm.

Speaker:

I'm like, something weird's going on here with me, right?

Speaker:

And I was like, okay, so this is, uh, this is the universe providing, you

Speaker:

know, saying, Hey, focus on this, right?

Speaker:

I, I picked the book up that I read it, it was like one of the most,

Speaker:

uh, opening books for me ever.

Speaker:

It was just fantastic, right?

Speaker:

And it was called, uh, End Times by Cryon.

Speaker:

So like, you know, way back it was a prediction kind of book.

Speaker:

So, so information started coming in that way, right?

Speaker:

Uh, then the more I practiced and I got, I got quiet.

Speaker:

Then it started noticing, uh, it, uh, all of a sudden it started becoming voices.

Speaker:

And then the, once I got through sort of the, the basic questions, like I, if you

Speaker:

start talking to your guides, you know, to be honest, I was like in my late twenties,

Speaker:

so the questions I was asking weren't exactly enlightened questions, right?

Speaker:

So I'd be asking things like Does that girl like me?

Speaker:

how's this stock doing, right?

Speaker:

So, you know, it's, it's funny, but like, if you have this great ability, this to

Speaker:

talk to your guys, it's not like suddenly you're gonna become a different person.

Speaker:

You're gonna have the same concerns and desires and fixate on the

Speaker:

same things as before, right?

Speaker:

Did they help you on the stocks?

Speaker:

Uh, they, yeah.

Speaker:

Everything, it's, they're, they're amazing, uh, stocks,

Speaker:

dating tips, everything.

Speaker:

And, uh, but over time things get a little more interesting.

Speaker:

Strike any of the important questions like you asked, like, who are you?

Speaker:

Like what, what does this mean?

Speaker:

I'm talking to some, something that seems to have answers beyond what I

Speaker:

have and they seem to be, uh, right most of the time and they seem to have

Speaker:

a lot more broad perspective and, and love, and that there's no judgment

Speaker:

and that I have to do something.

Speaker:

And there's just this completely different perspective, right?

Speaker:

And like I said, it, it changed a lot over time.

Speaker:

Like, uh, um, eventually over the years, I started asking the questions like,

Speaker:

are you, you know, I'm talking to my guides and like, are you actually me?

Speaker:

Am I just talking to myself?

Speaker:

Hmm.

Speaker:

Then the guide's like, oh, now you're getting to the good stuff, right?

Speaker:

We're not talking about girls and cars and you know, like whatever,

Speaker:

you know, mundane stuff you wanted to know about it, but now we're talking

Speaker:

about the really interesting stuff, what's going on behind the curtains?

Speaker:

And they said, uh, yes and no.

Speaker:

From the perspective of the material world where there's, uh, separation and,

Speaker:

and physicality, no, we're not, you.

Speaker:

From the perspective of the spirit world where everything is one, and we're

Speaker:

talking about vibrations and fields and consciousness, then yes, we're the same.

Speaker:

And, uh, so that's what things started to get really, um, really interesting

Speaker:

and really deep, uh, really fast.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

If you, if you haven't had that experience talking to your guides,

Speaker:

I really, uh, recommend like playing with it in a fun and easy way, and

Speaker:

just know that the barrier that we feel initially, some people are able to do

Speaker:

it just like this, but if you're not, it doesn't mean you're failing, right?

Speaker:

So I was, I was like that I couldn't get anything at first, but what's

Speaker:

happening is you're actually, uh, your attention is going to the unconscious

Speaker:

energy that's between you, your current state of awareness, and the

Speaker:

state of awareness that you would have that to be communicated consciously.

Speaker:

And I say that 'cause you're always communicating with your guides.

Speaker:

All the time this communication's happening.

Speaker:

You're just not conscious of it because there's a, a layer of unconscious

Speaker:

energy around, uh, around you.

Speaker:

It's kind of the barrier of your, what you believe to be you.

Speaker:

And the more times, uh, you, you touch the unconscious energy, the

Speaker:

thinner and thinner and thinner it'll get, and eventually it'll disappear.

Speaker:

And suddenly you're having conversations you didn't know were possible.

Speaker:

And, uh, so, unfortunately, what we tend to do is like our awareness

Speaker:

goes and hits unconscious energy.

Speaker:

And we just sort of like, we're, we're trying, trying, trying,

Speaker:

focusing, focus, focusing.

Speaker:

Then as soon as it hits its unconscious energy, it just sort of goes off

Speaker:

somewhere else, we forget where we we're doing, you know, we fall asleep.

Speaker:

It's like when you're meditating, you know, fall asleep, this

Speaker:

is what's happening, right?

Speaker:

You, you span up to your unconscious energy, you hit it, you go

Speaker:

unconscious, you fall asleep.

Speaker:

That's called success.

Speaker:

So keep doing that over and over.

Speaker:

Keep bumping into this unconscious energy, and it will naturally fade away.

Speaker:

'cause the more times you touch it, the more you're moving it, changing

Speaker:

it and, and, and coming through.

Speaker:

But most people think, most people think it's failure, not.

Speaker:

And if you see it as failure, you'll stop trying.

Speaker:

If you know that, oh, I'm actually succeeding, keep going.

Speaker:

And is there always a kind of hierarchy in the sense of, um, first you can't really

Speaker:

ask the guides questions, but then as you lean in, you can directly communicate?

Speaker:

Or could it also be that some people just communicate with their spirit

Speaker:

guides in a different way, maybe in a more intuitive body, somatic way,

Speaker:

rather than specifically communicating?

Speaker:

Is there a difference or is it the same for everyone?

Speaker:

Uh, it's, it's actually different for everybody.

Speaker:

So we all have the same capabilities, but some of us are naturally good at, uh, one

Speaker:

part of intuition or energy work, and some of us are naturally good at other parts.

Speaker:

And so, like for me, a clear audience has always been, uh, kind of easier for me.

Speaker:

Like, I can hear things easier than I could see things.

Speaker:

And so being able to see things took more, took more practice.

Speaker:

But at first when we practiced visualizing, you

Speaker:

know, I, I just saw nothing.

Speaker:

Uh, then I could imagine I was visualizing things.

Speaker:

But that's different than visualizing things.

Speaker:

And I think that's a key, isn't it?

Speaker:

That, that we imagine we're speaking to a spirit guy, But it's kind of

Speaker:

in communication with our own ego.

Speaker:

yeah.

Speaker:

And this, this just takes some practice, right?

Speaker:

And it takes maybe at least a little bit of humility and a desire

Speaker:

to grow and some curiosity and that lack of self-judgment, right?

Speaker:

To know that like, uh, even now when I'm tuning into things, I know that sometimes

Speaker:

I'm just gonna hear what I want to hear.

Speaker:

So if you're, if you're talking to your guides or you're

Speaker:

tuning into your intuition.

Speaker:

And it's always validating you, telling you how smart you are

Speaker:

and how great your ideas are.

Speaker:

Kinda like using Chat GPT, right?

Speaker:

So, you know, if you notice that like the, the first month or two months of Chat GPT

Speaker:

is super fun 'cause you are like, it, it gets me, I'm the smartest person ever.

Speaker:

And then you realize, okay, wait a second here.

Speaker:

It's telling everybody that

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

it's just optimized for building a relationship, right?

Speaker:

So the same thing happens.

Speaker:

You gotta to start noticing if my intuition's always telling me I'm

Speaker:

right, always telling me what I want to hear, that's not intuition.

Speaker:

That's called wishful thinking, and it's very different.

Speaker:

Um, doesn't mean you don't have intuition, just means your expectation you know,

Speaker:

needs to be level set a little bit.

Speaker:

Like adjust a little bit and say, I wanna know what's actually going on,

Speaker:

not just what I want to hear, right?

Speaker:

Because I tell you, when you, when I started talking my guides

Speaker:

really deeply, the answer is almost always surprising in its depth.

Speaker:

It might be just a few words.

Speaker:

Like, I, like I said, love, love who you are, and then love who you were.

Speaker:

It's just a few words, but the depth behind, it's like, whoa.

Speaker:

They just, they just gave me, you know, this entire teaching on how

Speaker:

energy works and how our, our ego and our minds worked and everything just

Speaker:

with, just with a change of one word.

Speaker:

the, the guides give us what our soul needs.

Speaker:

And Chat GPT gives us a cookie for our ego i'd say.

Speaker:

Exactly.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

But it's okay.

Speaker:

It's, you know, if, if it's, if you're having fun and you're tuning

Speaker:

in and you've got curiosity and it's causing you to like, try some things

Speaker:

you might not have tried before, it's building your confidence, there's

Speaker:

nothing wrong with any of this.

Speaker:

It's just all part of the process.

Speaker:

But, uh, the, the more you can have fun with it and be curious instead

Speaker:

of serious, the more it's going to continue to expand and grow.

Speaker:

And, and you'll, you know, we, we learn to discern not outside, but inside.

Speaker:

Is this feeling I'm getting just 'cause I, I need it to be that way, or can I expand

Speaker:

and see what I want and also what's real?

Speaker:

In Shamanism, but also in other traditions you hear of shadow entities.

Speaker:

Some call it demons, some call it dark forces.

Speaker:

How do you describe that phenomena?

Speaker:

What is your perspective of that?

Speaker:

Well I'd say a couple things.

Speaker:

One, uh, dark is just the lack of light.

Speaker:

So it's not an active quality.

Speaker:

Um, actually I could pull a parable from it.

Speaker:

Maybe it was that Cryo book years ago.

Speaker:

Is, uh, you know, like when you walk in a room and you hit the light

Speaker:

switch, the room is dark, you hit the switch that the light comes on.

Speaker:

But there's, if you're in a room that's light, there's no dark switch you can hit.

Speaker:

You can't go in and hit a dark switch and then all the light

Speaker:

is like snuffed out, right?

Speaker:

You know, so you don't have to really be afraid of darkness, right?

Speaker:

'Cause you can just be a light and the light will flood into all that space.

Speaker:

But there's a, when you said it, it actually reminded me like years ago, this

Speaker:

was, uh, I was still working as a software engineer and I got this invitation to

Speaker:

come to Uganda as a, for first time.

Speaker:

I went there twice, about maybe five years apart.

Speaker:

So this was right around, uh, Y2K.

Speaker:

And I was just traveling with a friend and, uh, and with her,

Speaker:

her friends and family and so on.

Speaker:

And, uh, we went into this, we're we're walking by our house and

Speaker:

these, these gates opened up at this big kind of, um, estate, right?

Speaker:

And we walked in and I was like, you know, just surprised.

Speaker:

And then we went around and she said, oh, this is, this is Idi

Speaker:

Amin's old vacation space, right?

Speaker:

And I was like, oh wow, really?

Speaker:

Huh.

Speaker:

And I said, and they just let people walk in here And she said, no,

Speaker:

they don't let anybody in here, but I don't know when you walked up,

Speaker:

they open the door and let us in.

Speaker:

And I'm like, okay, I don't know either because I don't, I don't know anything

Speaker:

about this, you know, I'm just some random white guy wa walking through.

Speaker:

And um, and we walked down and we're standing on some of the ruins.

Speaker:

'Cause everything was kind of crumbled at that point.

Speaker:

And I was looking down at the lake, it's right up, right off this lake.

Speaker:

And I said, whoa, what is going on over there?

Speaker:

There's this like amazing, uh, vortex of energy, and then there's

Speaker:

all these kinda like, scary pictures in it of all this dark stuff.

Speaker:

And my friend, she said, oh, that's the place that she said the locals here, they

Speaker:

won't go to that place because that's, there's rumors that they were like human

Speaker:

sacrifices or things like, you know, something really scary happening there.

Speaker:

And I was like, well, then I gotta check it out.

Speaker:

This sounds, this is pretty exciting.

Speaker:

Like, let's go see, let's go check the energy, right?

Speaker:

And I went, no, no fear of this, right?

Speaker:

Because it's just energy.

Speaker:

Everything's energy.

Speaker:

And I, I walked up with, with my, uh, my two friends and, and, um,

Speaker:

it was the first time I saw it, like, uh, right in the air above me.

Speaker:

I've never seen this before, I could see this, like, this words kind

Speaker:

of, these like gold words are like, you know, sparkling and it said

Speaker:

beware evil lurks within, right?

Speaker:

And I just, I just started laughing.

Speaker:

I was like, woo, evil lurks within, right?

Speaker:

And I was like, alright, well let's, let's just see what we can do here, right?

Speaker:

So I just started grinding the area, just cleaning the energy up.

Speaker:

'Cause this is like, what I could see is this is a really beautiful,

Speaker:

natural vortex of energy here, and then somebody had just kind of stuck

Speaker:

these scary messages up, right?

Speaker:

So I just started cleaning 'em off, cleaning the energy, making it move.

Speaker:

And I didn't really notice what was happening until I started getting wet.

Speaker:

And then I looked around me and the, all these storm clouds had

Speaker:

come in and it was like starting to, it was pouring, pouring rain.

Speaker:

I was doing the energy work and I was just kinda lost my own space, just

Speaker:

moving all this energy out, just clearing all this so that people could start

Speaker:

using this beautiful energy again.

Speaker:

It was just stuck.

Speaker:

'cause not only was there, somebody had put some energy there to scare

Speaker:

people, but the locals, everybody around there were still believing

Speaker:

that there was some truth to it.

Speaker:

And so that was just, that was continuing to circulate this, this

Speaker:

sort of like dark energy, right?

Speaker:

This evil energy.

Speaker:

But all it was was nothing.

Speaker:

It was just ideas, right?

Speaker:

So I, I cleared all that out and uh, and then my friends were laughing.

Speaker:

They, 'cause they were, one of my friends was standing back and he said, yeah,

Speaker:

I've never seen anything that he said, I wish I had a video because like the,

Speaker:

the sky got dark and came and then like, it rained and then all the, everything

Speaker:

parted and clear and there was sunshine.

Speaker:

He is like, it looked like some kind of crazy movie.

Speaker:

And, um, I didn't think much of it, but uh, five years later I came back.

Speaker:

I visited the same friend we were walking through, and uh, and she

Speaker:

said, oh, I, I never followed up with you, but there's a school there now.

Speaker:

They, they built a school on the property.

Speaker:

They cleared it off, built a school, and there's like this, I don't remember, was

Speaker:

it fountain, but they'd made something right in that place that used to be the

Speaker:

scariest spot that nobody wanted to go in.

Speaker:

And she said, just cleaning the energy now, now they're actually

Speaker:

utilizing that big vortex of energy.

Speaker:

And, uh, yeah, I was, and I was just super happy.

Speaker:

'Cause I, I didn't have any intention.

Speaker:

I was just a tourist, but I happened to be there and, uh, I saw the

Speaker:

energy and didn't take it seriously.

Speaker:

And is that perhaps what strengthens or what identifies us with that

Speaker:

darkness or what pulls us into it is it is taking it serious?

Speaker:

It is identifying with it and it is fearing it.

Speaker:

Ultimately, that gives it its power.

Speaker:

Yeah, well, it's, um, I would, I would say that it's, it's looking at

Speaker:

the stories rather than the energy.

Speaker:

So stories can be very scary.

Speaker:

So here's a story about the history.

Speaker:

Here's a story about a person.

Speaker:

Here's a story about, um, something that happened.

Speaker:

All of that can create a lot of fear and tension.

Speaker:

It's easy to focus on that.

Speaker:

It's something tangible, think everybody can agree on.

Speaker:

You can tell the story and other people can tell the same story and so on.

Speaker:

But if you look at the energy, it's completely different.

Speaker:

So instead of, and this works on a big scale or you know, kinda

Speaker:

like the one I described, but it also works on a small scale.

Speaker:

Like if you're, if you're talking to a friend and you notice yourselves

Speaker:

getting down on something or somebody else that's not there, just notice

Speaker:

like, ah, what are we talking about?

Speaker:

Are we talking about this?

Speaker:

Are we just talking about the story?

Speaker:

Or are we talking about some energy underneath?

Speaker:

I love to make this shift when I, when I find myself being negative in some

Speaker:

way, um, I notice it and then say, okay, I'm, I'm just stuck in some story.

Speaker:

And then, uh, what, what else is happening?

Speaker:

Same thing we said before.

Speaker:

Just let my awareness expand what's happening beyond the story.

Speaker:

Oh, really interesting.

Speaker:

This story is happening because this energy is stuck over

Speaker:

here and it's not circulating.

Speaker:

Ah, that's, that's why I'm, but I'm fixated on this part.

Speaker:

If I'm fixated on this part of the stories, I can't, I can't see

Speaker:

the energy, I can't change it.

Speaker:

I can't start circulating something different.

Speaker:

So the story would be, a person's consciousness is hijacked

Speaker:

by a dark or evil entity.

Speaker:

That will be the story that is scary, that is fearful, i'm a victim.

Speaker:

I need to protect myself, I need to guard my energy.

Speaker:

All of it only inducing more fear and getting us, so to

Speaker:

speak, in a negative vibration.

Speaker:

But if we switch out of that in your own words and, and look at the energy,

Speaker:

it speaks a different language.

Speaker:

If there's, uh, if, if it has to do with other people, it, sometimes it helps to

Speaker:

remember that, somebody that's causing pain and confusion and like, sort of

Speaker:

spreading it in the world, there's only one reason that ever happens is that pain

Speaker:

and confusion is circulating within them.

Speaker:

Because it's circulating within them, just like if joy was circulating

Speaker:

within them, it's resonating out and and caring to other people, right?

Speaker:

And, uh, if I, if fear and confusion is, you know, somebody's circulating

Speaker:

that and it's re and it's resonating to other people, that's gonna create

Speaker:

a lot of scary, confusing stories about what's going on in the world.

Speaker:

And, uh, and it's easy to fixate on those and miss the fact that, uh, there's

Speaker:

another human in pain and confusion.

Speaker:

I can't imagine how much they must be hurting to be, you know, creating

Speaker:

this pain and confusion in the world that person's really hurting inside.

Speaker:

Like, suddenly when you see the energy automatically have compassion

Speaker:

the other, for the other person.

Speaker:

It doesn't make all their, you know, necessarily make their

Speaker:

actions acceptable or desirable.

Speaker:

But, you can still put that aside and look at the energy of the person and the human

Speaker:

and say, I, I have compassion for them.

Speaker:

I hope they feel better.

Speaker:

What, from your perception, what happens to someone who is circulating

Speaker:

this dark energy or, or fearful energy and doesn't become aware of

Speaker:

it, and what happens when they die?

Speaker:

It, it depends.

Speaker:

But if they're, if they're really fixated on something, like if we're

Speaker:

really fixated on something and we die, well, we tend to stay fixated on that.

Speaker:

I, I worked, I spent a lot of years working with ghosts.

Speaker:

Probably worked, you know, it some point now I've probably helped more people

Speaker:

than ghosts, but for a long time I'd helped more ghosts than people, right?

Speaker:

And it was kind of always the same story.

Speaker:

So, you know, when I, if I, if I found a ghost or if somebody felt like, uh, they,

Speaker:

they had a being inside them, like they were possessed in some way, or, you know.

Speaker:

So what we do is just, you know, uh, find the energy of that, that

Speaker:

spirit, that person who had died.

Speaker:

And the, the script is really simple.

Speaker:

I, I'd first say, I, I actually learned this, uh, you know, I was

Speaker:

gonna school for this, oddly enough.

Speaker:

And, uh, the script is really simple.

Speaker:

So I just say like, uh, hi, you know, I can see you.

Speaker:

And then usually that's like, oh, well, okay, so I just got a hello.

Speaker:

Nobody's said hello to me 'cause I don't have a body anymore.

Speaker:

That ghost is kind of surprised.

Speaker:

And then, um, started chatting a little bit, you know, Hey, what do you want?

Speaker:

What's up?

Speaker:

And then at some point I'd say, did you know that you're dead?

Speaker:

What?

Speaker:

Because right where, where they are is, they're stuck on something right here.

Speaker:

Like I said, just looking around like they're fixated and whatever, whatever

Speaker:

energy they couldn't let go of in life, the, the story that they had

Speaker:

that was so strong they couldn't let go of it is still there when they die

Speaker:

and they still, and that's why they're hanging out here around the planet.

Speaker:

' Cause they don't need to be, right?

Speaker:

And so, uh, just, you know, saying hello to them saying, uh, another

Speaker:

thing I'd ask is, uh, what year is it?

Speaker:

And then the, they'll be like, uh, 1995.

Speaker:

And I'm like, it's actually 2026 right now.

Speaker:

So just pushing that picture back a bit.

Speaker:

What?

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Did you know you died?

Speaker:

What?

Speaker:

Picture's getting further and further away, right?

Speaker:

And as you do this, and then it's like, okay, so did you notice

Speaker:

the big, uh, light up there?

Speaker:

Did you see that?

Speaker:

Oh, like, that's your next step.

Speaker:

Like, you don't have to stay stuck in the story.

Speaker:

Usually that's enough.

Speaker:

You know, just seeing, seeing that it doesn't, like I'm not asking

Speaker:

them what bad things they do, why are they hurting somebody?

Speaker:

How do I protect them?

Speaker:

How do I attack them?

Speaker:

Like, none of that matters.

Speaker:

It's just what's happening with the energy.

Speaker:

Just like people that are alive, they're still stuck in some pictures,

Speaker:

some information, some story.

Speaker:

So just help put a little distance there, show 'em a next step and have compassion.

Speaker:

Almost always, they go.

Speaker:

This differs very much from the spirit guides who are helping

Speaker:

humans evolve in consciousness.

Speaker:

So one is stuck on the kind of human plane, and the other is perhaps,

Speaker:

if we can say, so consciously choosing to support humanity.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Very different.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Ghosts.

Speaker:

Ghosts are basically just, uh, just like stuck.

Speaker:

People that didn't, you know, they haven't noticed yet that they died.

Speaker:

Um, it's, I mean, uh, occasionally I bumped into ghosts that knew they

Speaker:

were dead, but that was very rare.

Speaker:

Um, they'd have to be really upset about something to still stick around.

Speaker:

There's so much more I want to ask you, but the, let's, I want to fi

Speaker:

finalize with one, one question here.

Speaker:

We hear about people going through some kind of astral journey or having

Speaker:

very powerful out of body experiences.

Speaker:

Is there a danger there?

Speaker:

Not danger in the sense of, oh, an evil entity will come.

Speaker:

That's the story, yeah.

Speaker:

But, but is there, is there a risk with going too much out of the body

Speaker:

and kind of losing one's own center?

Speaker:

how do I describe that?

Speaker:

Well, first thing I would say is there's, it, it's a lot of fun,

Speaker:

like traveling outta body, doing all these things like super fun.

Speaker:

I can get it.

Speaker:

I, I got into that and played with that, you know, for a while.

Speaker:

But I would say there's no information out there that you need.

Speaker:

Everything you need is in here, in your life in the present moment.

Speaker:

So it's, it's basically just, um, it's kind of an.

Speaker:

It's interesting to notice your capabilities are greater

Speaker:

than you thought they were.

Speaker:

So that's, that's really powerful, really expanding.

Speaker:

But, um, it's always gonna be more powerful to just be back here in

Speaker:

your body in this present moment.

Speaker:

You know, just breathing, feeling the chair you're sitting on, feeling your

Speaker:

feet on the floor, touching your hands.

Speaker:

You know, doing something to bring you back to the moment, uh, is, is gonna

Speaker:

be much more effective in your life.

Speaker:

Because if you, if you're not here, if you're spread out all over the

Speaker:

place with your energy and attention, it's hard to do simple things, right?

Speaker:

That's why when you, you know, if you're walking to the bathroom at night,

Speaker:

sometimes, you know, spend, I'll just bump my shoulder into the wall 'cause

Speaker:

I'm not really in my body, right?

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Uh, you don't wanna walk around in life like that.

Speaker:

So, you know, is there a danger?

Speaker:

Uh, a little bit.

Speaker:

You're not gonna have as much fun, you're not gonna be very effective.

Speaker:

But there isn't a danger, like, uh, existential danger, like,

Speaker:

um, that you're harming yourself.

Speaker:

Uh, I would say it's, it's kinda like, uh, sometimes I like to go to Disneyland

Speaker:

and just ride the rides and have a lot of fun, but I don't wanna ride them all

Speaker:

day, every day for the rest of my life.

Speaker:

You know?

Speaker:

I want to, to come back and then be in my life and focus on kind of the here

Speaker:

and now and the same kind of thing.

Speaker:

I, I love that it kind of brings the conversation full circle, that,

Speaker:

that the real power ultimately lies in the present and in this moment.

Speaker:

And this is where the answers are.

Speaker:

And that also, it's very practical.

Speaker:

I always like to say that the spiritual journey is quite

Speaker:

paradoxically, extremely practical.

Speaker:

It is.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

If you want to, um, if you want to make a lot of change or be really productive

Speaker:

at work or in your relationships and so on, uh, just focus more on being present.

Speaker:

You know, let, letting it be okay that you're, have energies to

Speaker:

releasing, like we mentioned earlier.

Speaker:

And let, let yourself expand more and, and, and see what, what's

Speaker:

beyond the stories I'm hearing.

Speaker:

And all of a sudden you'll notice that, oh, I'm, I'm

Speaker:

connecting more with other people.

Speaker:

I'm resonating with them in a way I didn't realize it was before.

Speaker:

And the, the same life is being lived with a different feeling of being

Speaker:

present, a different awareness, a different fullness to it than you.

Speaker:

And, and you didn't, maybe didn't change anything on the outside.

Speaker:

Same job, same relationship, same haircut, you know, but, but all

Speaker:

of a sudden you're experiencing it in a, in a much richer way.

Speaker:

That's, that's gonna lead to new conversations and job opportunities and

Speaker:

you know, I mean, everything feels like it opens up when you're in that state.

Speaker:

' Cause you're participating in this life fully, I presume.

Speaker:

You are.

Speaker:

You, you are here quite literally.

Speaker:

And I suppose the outer body experiences can become a form of running away from

Speaker:

this present moment life because the heavy energies will most likely come up in the

Speaker:

present moment and not when we're going out of the body and kind of visualizing.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

I, I think it's, it's great.

Speaker:

Like I, I've, you know, tried, you know, any, uh, thing you can

Speaker:

imagine that's like a far out there or, I love trying all this stuff.

Speaker:

It's really nice, but it's, it's also nice to kind of come home to

Speaker:

the present moment, to the body.

Speaker:

That's, that's where fulfillment comes.

Speaker:

It's not, it's not out there.

Speaker:

You don't have to chase it.

Speaker:

Just, just come right back here and find it.

Speaker:

Jeffrey, where can people connect with you and find your work?

Speaker:

So you can find me on, uh, my website.

Speaker:

I'm jeffreyallen.com.

Speaker:

Uh, you can also find me on uh, spiritmind.com.

Speaker:

That's the website that I, and the teaching that I have with my wife Hisami.

Speaker:

If you guys are interested, there's, um, this beautiful little five day

Speaker:

course that I just made that's all experiential about kind of awareness and

Speaker:

easy ways to be present in the moment.

Speaker:

So it's like five different ways to be present and to, and

Speaker:

to come back to the moment.

Speaker:

And, uh, it's, it's very simple.

Speaker:

It's like maybe two minutes a day, just a little tool and then you

Speaker:

just practice throughout the day.

Speaker:

And, uh, that's kind of the best, um, best tool that I've created

Speaker:

recently is, it's really fun.

Speaker:

Just 'cause it's all experiential.

Speaker:

No, no lectures, no information.

Speaker:

Just doing it.

Speaker:

I love that because it has to be simple because ultimately

Speaker:

the truth is simple, isn't it?

Speaker:

It has to be simple.

Speaker:

If it's complex, it brings us back into the mind.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Exactly.

Speaker:

And that's what it's Called.

Speaker:

Five, Five Days to Calm Your Mind and Meet Your Spirit.
