Unknown:

Hello and welcome to the Borealis experience. I'm

Unknown:

your host Aurora, and I'm so grateful to be spending some

Unknown:

time with you today meditating. I will be guiding you through a

Unknown:

meditation for when you feel lost and confused. 2020 has been

Unknown:

a really tough year, we've been faced with challenges that

Unknown:

most of us probably couldn't imagining happening. Some of us

Unknown:

lost jobs. Some of us were stuck in a house or apartment

Unknown:

was not much space with people that we love. But if it gets too

Unknown:

tight, then there's nasty fights attempts happening. Some of us

Unknown:

felt extremely lonely, way lonelier than

Unknown:

they did in previous years. If they've been single for a while

Unknown:

or lost a partner. It's been very challenging on many levels.

Unknown:

So this meditation today is for when you feel lost and confused.

Unknown:

So make yourself really cozy and comfortable there. If you want

Unknown:

to lay down on the ground, feel free to do that. If you feel

Unknown:

like sitting up straight today, maybe you can sit on a pillow or

Unknown:

on a cushion

Unknown:

and adjust your pelvis and the first meditation here on this

Unknown:

podcast I describe exactly how you can sit comfortably without

Unknown:

having to tense up your muscles around the spine.

Unknown:

And then tuck your chin slightly elongate your neck, roll your

Unknown:

shoulders up and back.

Unknown:

And close your eyes if you wish to.

Unknown:

You Your hands can be on your thighs can have your palms open

Unknown:

up to the sky or facing down for a more grounding sensation.

Unknown:

Sometimes when we feel lost, it's good to

Unknown:

have the palms facing down and maybe even like grab your thighs

Unknown:

a little bit to feel yourself.

Unknown:

Beautiful.

Unknown:

Take a deep inhale and exhale.

Unknown:

And when I feel lost and uncertain at times, I try to

Unknown:

remember myself of the good things and the steady things and

Unknown:

the things that

Unknown:

keep me alive. Keep me in a good healthy balance.

Unknown:

So let's start with the lungs fill your lungs filling,

Unknown:

expanding

Unknown:

and then retracting again

Unknown:

and it is through our breath that we can

Unknown:

highly influence our thoughts and our overall state of being.

Unknown:

When we get agitated when we feel uncertain or scared,

Unknown:

sometimes the breath gets really shallow.

Unknown:

We don't even notice that.

Unknown:

So if we come back to our quiet place to a safe place, and tune

Unknown:

into a breath, calm down again.

Unknown:

Then you can literally feel how everything reacts as all of a

Unknown:

sudden.

Unknown:

Now focus on the muscles around your eyes, around your mouth,

Unknown:

your jaw muscles, as usual, keep them relaxed

Unknown:

maybe put one hand onto your heart and the other hand in your

Unknown:

lower back area.

Unknown:

And feel that when you really let your lungs expand and

Unknown:

something happens underneath your hand.

Unknown:

Head is placed on your lower back

Unknown:

the skin is moving

Unknown:

underneath your hand there.

Unknown:

So that just means that you can really direct your breath to

Unknown:

wherever you put your hands on your torso.

Unknown:

Know that this time of confusion and feeling loss will pass.

Unknown:

It is just a phase in your life.

Unknown:

And maybe you can even see it as an opportunity. Please Don't

Unknown:

roll your eyes. I know how hard it is at times to see

Unknown:

opportunity and challenging times.

Unknown:

But maybe it is an opportunity to reconnect back to yourself

Unknown:

to your body

Unknown:

your body your best friend that is serving you on a daily

Unknown:

every second of your life without even asking much from

Unknown:

you.

Unknown:

See how your heart is beating. See how your lungs and kidneys

Unknown:

and your liver is working constantly for you to be healthy

Unknown:

and experience this life

Unknown:

see how your taste buds can taste delicious food

Unknown:

know that you're not alone, that there's so many people out there

Unknown:

who feel exactly the same we just have to start talking about

Unknown:

it and support each other and don't isolate

Unknown:

relax your eyes

Unknown:

tune back into your breath

Unknown:

No, that was an relaxed and more positive attitude towards

Unknown:

ourself.

Unknown:

We can let go of resistance and

Unknown:

anger, sadness

Unknown:

and attract goodness again and hope.

Unknown:

We just have to get out of that state of mind of

Unknown:

not wanting something and not

Unknown:

feeling good about ourselves.

Unknown:

We have to focus on the things that make us feel good. So focus

Unknown:

on your heartbeat.

Unknown:

Focus on your lungs,

Unknown:

your relaxed face.

Unknown:

And know that these challenging times will pass and you feel

Unknown:

confident and happy and joys again.

Unknown:

Maybe you want to remember the last time you felt true joy

Unknown:

where your heart was jumping in your chest

Unknown:

maybe try to recall a person that brings you joy and really

Unknown:

envision them standing in front of you.

Unknown:

Whatever it is, that brings good feelings up.

Unknown:

Call it in.

Unknown:

Be grateful for it

Unknown:

tune back into your breath

Unknown:

call that beautiful image and

Unknown:

and know that

Unknown:

when you jump into a cab into a taxi,

Unknown:

you don't tell the driver all the places you don't want to go

Unknown:

right.

Unknown:

You tell the driver I want to go here I want to see this. This is

Unknown:

what I want to pay you for

Unknown:

and the driver will gladly

Unknown:

do everything to bring you there safely.

Unknown:

So what I mean by that is

Unknown:

now that you took the time and the energy to meditate,

Unknown:

think of the things that you want in your life instead of

Unknown:

what you don't want.

Unknown:

You want to feel freedom. You want to feel certainty,

Unknown:

confidence

Unknown:

and how does it look like how do you walk? How does your face

Unknown:

look when you're confident really envision these good

Unknown:

feelings

Unknown:

now bring your hands together

Unknown:

and rub them against each other

Unknown:

and I'll place them on your eyes

Unknown:

and feel the warmth

Unknown:

maybe your fingers are kind of touching your whole forehead and

Unknown:

and face there

Unknown:

and feel the warmth he may repeat that several times.

Unknown:

Or you just stay like this for a little bit

Unknown:

Very good.

Unknown:

Bring your hands in front of your heart and pray up position.

Unknown:

Pull your head down

Unknown:

and feel the warmth of your hands once again

Unknown:

your body is here to make you feel safe and good about

Unknown:

yourself.

Unknown:

It is serving you at all times.

Unknown:

Appreciate it.

Unknown:

And know that those challenging times out there will pass

Unknown:

and soon you will feel confident

Unknown:

relaxed, free.

Unknown:

Maybe even already.

Unknown:

Call those images in as often as you can. Especially before us

Unknown:

fall asleep at night.

Unknown:

Namaste

Unknown:

thank you so much for being here with me today. This episode

Unknown:

meant a lot to me. I'll be sending out a new episode very

Unknown:

soon. I'm always there for you. Lots of love. Aurora be proud of

Unknown:

yourself.
