Nate ChelseyBD, how are you?

Chelsey Donn:

you?

Chelsey Donn:

It never gets old.

Chelsey Donn:

I'm good.

Chelsey Donn:

I'm good Trey.

Chelsey Donn:

It's always better when I'm seeing you and get to do, you know, this lovely

Trey Gerrald:

Sorry, 'I said your name wrong earlier.

Trey Gerrald:

Shayna Sh.

Trey Gerrald:

Miss Shayna Pham.

Chelsey Donn:

Oh, that A' Trey.

Chelsey Donn:

We just figured out that that's my drag name.

Chelsey Donn:

Um, anyway, how are you, Trey?

Chelsey Donn:

It's been quite A' week.

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah, life, life is going, you know, 'I, like 'I still just A'

Trey Gerrald:

'I still have not finished the wallpaper in my drag room, but, um, but it's still there.

Trey Gerrald:

You know, life's going along.

Trey Gerrald:

David is 'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Don't know if we've talked about this in the podcast, but David has been taking

Chelsey Donn:

Stop.

Chelsey Donn:

A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Little bit of like, yeah, A', little bit of PTSD there, but at the same time, David does have A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Wonderful job.

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

So this is like A' side hobby,

Trey Gerrald:

Well, yeah, 'I don't think it's gonna become his actual job, but he's like,

Trey Gerrald:

He's really into it.

Trey Gerrald:

So he's currently at the Borgata by himself.

Trey Gerrald:

Um,

Chelsey Donn:

really you guys have really become quite the Borgata people.

Chelsey Donn:

You know, my dad likes to play poker.

Chelsey Donn:

'I

Trey Gerrald:

'I was gonna say

Chelsey Donn:

They gotta, they should play together.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

All right, we're gonna set this up.

Chelsey Donn:

Well that's fun.

Trey Gerrald:

How about you?

Trey Gerrald:

How's your.

Chelsey Donn:

My week is going well, so.

Trey Gerrald:

You look good.

Trey Gerrald:

You look more

Chelsey Donn:

you, 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Feel more healthy.

Chelsey Donn:

Um, I'm able to socialize again.

Chelsey Donn:

Uh, but 'I, 'I, notice 'I don't want to like less and less do 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Wanna do it?

Chelsey Donn:

'I had A' friend's birthday party that.

Chelsey Donn:

'I 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Don't wanna say 'I felt obligated to go, but like, you know, he is A' good friend.

Chelsey Donn:

He always shows up for me.

Chelsey Donn:

So 'I knew that 'I was going, like 'I decided I'm going to this thing.

Chelsey Donn:

And it was at his house and it was A' party and there was jazz music.

Chelsey Donn:

And on the invitation it said to dress up.

Chelsey Donn:

Which really adds like A' whole nother layer to the getting ready process.

Chelsey Donn:

Like to go from in bed sick with Covid 'I to recovering, to like needing to get A'

Trey Gerrald:

like A' flapper dress, and like A'

Trey Gerrald:

' Chelsey Donn: I didn't go there.

Trey Gerrald:

'I just, you know what 'I was like, you're getting A' black dress in boots, A' black long dress in.

Trey Gerrald:

works.

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

and it worked.

Chelsey Donn:

It was fine, but like it really 'I the inertia these days to get out is A' real thing.

Chelsey Donn:

It's A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Little scary

Trey Gerrald:

Oh, 'I feel it like

Chelsey Donn:

'I mean 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Feel like you felt it for A' long time like 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

This is kind of A' new feeling to me cuz 'I do like to socialize and go out and see

Chelsey Donn:

To A' Commune as 'I 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Think 'I 'I tended to fall more on the David side of things, but now Trey, 'I, 'I get it.

Trey Gerrald:

What do you think this market changes?

Trey Gerrald:

Is it like, because you're getting older, is it because of Covid 'I or the

Chelsey Donn:

'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Think it's like A' combo platters.

Chelsey Donn:

My thinking like 'I think that it's, yeah, getting older and not really like feeling like 'I need to

Chelsey Donn:

Like I'm not like going out to impress anybody.

Chelsey Donn:

Like I'm really just going out purely for me.

Chelsey Donn:

And that was like an age thing.

Chelsey Donn:

But then when you have Covid 'I and you're like literally in bed for A' week, 10

Trey Gerrald:

Oh, for sure.

Chelsey Donn:

'I also find that like over Covid, 'I and 'I spoke to A' couple people about this.

Chelsey Donn:

Like my social skills have like dolled, A' little bit, you know what 'I mean?

Trey Gerrald:

A' real thing.

Chelsey Donn:

'I used to be able to like really just like whine and dine with anybody.

Chelsey Donn:

And now I'm just like, ugh.

Chelsey Donn:

It takes A' certain kind of human to really like activate me when I'm out

Chelsey Donn:

'I can't do it.

Trey Gerrald:

'I do feel like part of my thing has always been A', like this little minuscule

Trey Gerrald:

It doesn't feel like 'I, like there's something to hearing people talk about

Chelsey Donn:

That's true.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah, you're right.

Chelsey Donn:

Like whenever that comes up in conversation, when I'm out with people,

Chelsey Donn:

Cause I'm like, oh, it's not just me.

Chelsey Donn:

Like we're all A' little awkward now, right?

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

So that's kind of been my week.

Chelsey Donn:

'I did get myself out though.

Chelsey Donn:

'I did go.

Chelsey Donn:

'I did dress up.

Chelsey Donn:

You know,

Trey Gerrald:

And did you have fun?

Chelsey Donn:

you 'I had A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Good time.

Chelsey Donn:

'I saw some people that 'I liked and 'I didn't overstay my welcome and 'I feel

Trey Gerrald:

'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Love that.

Trey Gerrald:

It's great.

Trey Gerrald:

What's wrong with that

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

But like, just because I'm A' new me doesn't mean that 'I don't want to complain about

Trey Gerrald:

'I mean literally.

Chelsey Donn:

'I just didn't want you to like, get confused.

Trey Gerrald:

Oh, no.

Trey Gerrald:

'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Know your

Chelsey Donn:

Don't, don't get A' twisted.

Chelsey Donn:

'I have plenty of things to complain about.

Trey Gerrald:

Queens know how to complain.

Trey Gerrald:

Let's do it.

Trey Gerrald:

ChelseyBD.

Trey Gerrald:

Are you ready too?

VOICEOVER:

Lodge, A', Complaint.

Chelsey Donn:

'I am Trey.

Chelsey Donn:

I've been saving this Complaint for this moment because it happened in real time A' few days ago.

Chelsey Donn:

So 'I was driving in my car.

Chelsey Donn:

You know, A', lot of these complaints aren't in the car.

Chelsey Donn:

So 'I was driving in the car and I'm sitting at A' stop sign, and there was A' guy driving

Chelsey Donn:

Okay.

Chelsey Donn:

As he was driving, my window was down.

Chelsey Donn:

Like mind you, at least 'I saw it when it was coming towards me.

Chelsey Donn:

So 'I like was able to lift my window on time, but like, Ew, how gross Number one, is it urine 'I?

Chelsey Donn:

Don't know.

Chelsey Donn:

Could be.

Chelsey Donn:

Is it preparation for urine?

Chelsey Donn:

'I don't know.

Chelsey Donn:

Could be either way.

Chelsey Donn:

Pull over dispose of your item in A' trash receptacle.

Chelsey Donn:

Why do some people think it's okay to just throw trash at A' car window?

Chelsey Donn:

What is wrong with people?

Trey Gerrald:

hear A', litter Bog.

Trey Gerrald:

But when we come to these, uh, liquids, 'I have A' question, why do you instantly go to urine

Chelsey Donn:

'I guess cuz it's like what kind of liquid would you have to remove from your car like

Trey Gerrald:

at that moment?

Trey Gerrald:

Right?

Chelsey Donn:

you're driving.

Chelsey Donn:

If it's not your, like if you, if it's water or soda or something like that, you would think

Chelsey Donn:

But if A' guy who can pee in A' cup, which is something I've always admir.

Chelsey Donn:

'I would think you'd want to have urine outta your car immediately.

Chelsey Donn:

'I, don't know.

Chelsey Donn:

That's why my brain went there.

Chelsey Donn:

'I think, cuz 'I was like, what other excuse could there possibly be?

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah, it's just funny.

Trey Gerrald:

That's where you go,

Chelsey Donn:

But really though, do you see this like 'I saw even on the, on the freeway,

Trey Gerrald:

'I hate that.

Trey Gerrald:

'I.

Trey Gerrald:

It does bother me.

Trey Gerrald:

Especially when the person is simultaneously driving.

Chelsey Donn:

Right, exactly.

Chelsey Donn:

Like it's bad enough, but like if you're literally moving, you throw A' liquid

Chelsey Donn:

Like there's just so many things that can go wrong and it's just like,

Trey Gerrald:

Oh, truly.

Chelsey Donn:

It's like, oof.

Chelsey Donn:

That's like 'I don't want you to represent my, the human race.

Trey Gerrald:

You know, there is something about like liquid that feels

Trey Gerrald:

That's not What's the pH?

Trey Gerrald:

What's A'

Chelsey Donn:

like A' fast food, like left, you know, bag and

Trey Gerrald:

garbage versus like liquid.

Trey Gerrald:

But that

Trey Gerrald:

' Chelsey Donn: I guess so.

Trey Gerrald:

It's still gross.

Trey Gerrald:

The garbage is undeniably worse, but the liquid is just like, was just A'

Trey Gerrald:

And then it made me think like in general, how common it is that people

Trey Gerrald:

It really is an experience of like, oh, I'm the center of the world.

Trey Gerrald:

The world is my garbage can.

Chelsey Donn:

Like as if also like the world can't see you do that.

Chelsey Donn:

You're not in an you're, you don't have an invisibility cloak on.

Chelsey Donn:

You're in A' car.

Chelsey Donn:

It's daylight.

Trey Gerrald:

Does that count as littering?

Trey Gerrald:

Like could A'

Chelsey Donn:

Yes.

Chelsey Donn:

A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Hundred per 1000%.

Chelsey Donn:

1000%.

Chelsey Donn:

That's littering.

Chelsey Donn:

A' Cop could pull you over for that.

Trey Gerrald:

Did he drop the cup or no?

Chelsey Donn:

No.

Chelsey Donn:

That's why 'I thought maybe he was gonna pee in the cup, because that would be like, okay.

Chelsey Donn:

Like, oh my God, 'I gotta pee.

Chelsey Donn:

What am 'I gonna do?

Chelsey Donn:

Uh, 'I have this thing with A' soda.

Chelsey Donn:

Okay, I'll throw out the soda and I'll pee Like 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Guess that's the only, that was the only like rationale 'I was trying to go to for this human.

Chelsey Donn:

But anyway, off this asshole

Trey Gerrald:

Did you ever see that SNL sketch 'I?

Trey Gerrald:

Think it was snl, 'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Could have been Mad tv.

Trey Gerrald:

It sounds more mad tv.

Trey Gerrald:

Where it was like the woman's P cup for the car.

Trey Gerrald:

It was like some sketch.

Chelsey Donn:

know.

Chelsey Donn:

But 'I think that there is.

Chelsey Donn:

That's

Chelsey Donn:

hilarious.

Chelsey Donn:

But there is something, there is A' real thing.

Chelsey Donn:

There's like A' fun.

Chelsey Donn:

, there's

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

It's A' Funnel.

Trey Gerrald:

Yes,

Chelsey Donn:

you can use that can, yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

Can allow you to pee like in A' car.

Chelsey Donn:

You know, for in emergency.

Trey Gerrald:

You know

Chelsey Donn:

not much of A' public.

Chelsey Donn:

Pee in general.

Chelsey Donn:

'I,

Trey Gerrald:

Oh, 'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Get pisha.

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah, 'I get Pia urinals.

Trey Gerrald:

'I like to go into the stall, not the urinal, which 'I know you're the same.

Chelsey Donn:

Yes.

Trey Gerrald:

You're not big on those urinals.

Chelsey Donn:

I'm not big on the urinals personally.

Trey Gerrald:

Getting off of the New Jersey turnpike there is, they have service stations.

Trey Gerrald:

They're all named after famous people.

Chelsey Donn:

Uhhuh,

Trey Gerrald:

But there is, there's one named after Judy Bloom, which is A' very random

Trey Gerrald:

He had A' play named after him.

Chelsey Donn:

'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Don't try football 'I.

Trey Gerrald:

No, but it's A' play.

Chelsey Donn:

'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Don't

Trey Gerrald:

It was at theater in the RA Square theater.

Trey Gerrald:

Oh my.

Chelsey Donn:

It's A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Play 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Don't

Trey Gerrald:

it doesn't matter.

Trey Gerrald:

But like then it's like, then Judy Bloom, which is like, is hilarious.

Trey Gerrald:

Anyway, but there is A' huge stretch where it's like after you hit the Judy Bloom service

Trey Gerrald:

And that just reminds me of the anxiety of having to pee in the car.

Chelsey Donn:

Yes.

Chelsey Donn:

Just that in general.

Trey Gerrald:

But yes, 'I, hear you.

Trey Gerrald:

Let's all just be more conscious, like especially if you're splish splashing, get.

Chelsey Donn:

In daylight, Uhuh 'I mean.

Chelsey Donn:

Not that you should do it at all.

Chelsey Donn:

'I don't want to condone nighttime littering, just A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Certain amount of gall.

Chelsey Donn:

Anyway.

Chelsey Donn:

Trey, what is your Complaint this week?

Trey Gerrald:

My Complaint is kind of similar to, um, liquid conversations, but, and this is

Trey Gerrald:

In our house we have A' Smart Refrigerator, which 'I don't even know what that means, but

Trey Gerrald:

So 'I, I've been getting alerts like probably for the last two weeks, maybe every now and then.

Trey Gerrald:

Then 'I just always like swipe away, like 'I hate notifications, like 'I just disregard.

Trey Gerrald:

But 'I kept getting this notification that the water filter was.

Chelsey Donn:

Needed to be replaced.

Trey Gerrald:

and 'I was like, you know, just like 'I can't do it with this,

Trey Gerrald:

So anyway,

Chelsey Donn:

Clearly we have bigger priorities.

Trey Gerrald:

so like A', couple of days ago, like three or four days ago, 'I

Chelsey Donn:

Hmm.

Chelsey Donn:

Okay.

Trey Gerrald:

like 'I consume so much ice that by the end of the night, like 'I will use lots

Chelsey Donn:

A' Lot of ice.

Trey Gerrald:

is A' lot of ice.

Trey Gerrald:

So then in the next morning it's like full, you know, so 'I noticed.

Trey Gerrald:

. Oh, it's now the new morning and it's not full.

Trey Gerrald:

And 'I was like, wait, maybe this is that water

Chelsey Donn:

the filter.

Trey Gerrald:

So then 'I and there's like A' little icon that's on the fridge, right?

Trey Gerrald:

So, okay.

Trey Gerrald:

'I get home last night and I'm like, it didn't refill again.

Trey Gerrald:

It must be like 'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Guess the water just won't go through if the filter is not working.

Trey Gerrald:

Cuz this is A' smart fridge.

Trey Gerrald:

It's telling me that 'I can't just get water from the New Jersey water

Chelsey Donn:

wanna give you dirty ice.

Chelsey Donn:

Trey.

Trey Gerrald:

'I Don't care.

Trey Gerrald:

'I want 'I.

Trey Gerrald:

It's,

Chelsey Donn:

'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Want the dirty ice?

Trey Gerrald:

It's not that dirty.

Trey Gerrald:

Right?

Trey Gerrald:

'I mean, I'm sure it's horrible, but like if 'I just had an ice maker, it would be making ice.

Trey Gerrald:

I'm just lodging, A'.

Trey Gerrald:

Complaint against.

Trey Gerrald:

Oh, so wait.

Trey Gerrald:

Before 'I Lodge it.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

So then I'm like, okay, well 'I don't like 'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Find where the filter is.

Trey Gerrald:

It's in A', like pop-up thing that's above, you know, and it's like, find the serial

Trey Gerrald:

It has, you know, there's like 8 million versions of sub.

Trey Gerrald:

So I'm like, okay.

Trey Gerrald:

The app has like the little cloud with A' download symbol like 'I, guess like A'.

Trey Gerrald:

When 'I got my new phone, 'I didn't really redownload the app.

Trey Gerrald:

So like 'I have to redownload the app, then the app takes forever.

Trey Gerrald:

'I don't remember the password.

Trey Gerrald:

So then 'I have to like get the password, right?

Trey Gerrald:

So then 'I go through and it's like fine, like it's not logged in like 'I.

Trey Gerrald:

It knows what fridge mine is, but it doesn't have the serial number.

Trey Gerrald:

So then 'I have to like click the link to find how to find the serial number.

Trey Gerrald:

And it's like 'I, this little label that's on the inside of the Fri, the freezer,

Chelsey Donn:

A' Dumb

Trey Gerrald:

like, Right, and it's supposed to be smart.

Trey Gerrald:

Why?

Trey Gerrald:

Like if I've registered this

Chelsey Donn:

It should just know what it is.

Chelsey Donn:

It should know.

Chelsey Donn:

It should be like your filter is low.

Chelsey Donn:

Click here to reorder A' new filter.

Trey Gerrald:

Okay.

Trey Gerrald:

Well because, and this isn't even the Complaint.

Trey Gerrald:

This is just the befuddlement getting to the Complaint.

Trey Gerrald:

Okay.

Trey Gerrald:

So then I'm like, okay, so then 'I have to manually type in and it's like two F

Trey Gerrald:

Right?

Trey Gerrald:

Like just so stupid.

Trey Gerrald:

So then 'I type it in.

Trey Gerrald:

Okay.

Trey Gerrald:

'I A' stock

Chelsey Donn:

Oh, no,

Trey Gerrald:

an alert to notify me when it's back in stock.

Trey Gerrald:

How does subzero stop production?

Trey Gerrald:

Of ice because of the water filter.

Trey Gerrald:

And then they're not manufacturing enough water filters.

Chelsey Donn:

No honey.

Chelsey Donn:

Uh,

Trey Gerrald:

So then I'm like, all right, well 'I have to go on Amazon.

Trey Gerrald:

Like 'I Have to find some fake version

Chelsey Donn:

you.

Chelsey Donn:

This is A' real nightmare.

Chelsey Donn:

'I wanted to point out, cuz like your love of ice, this is now going on two days.

Trey Gerrald:

Mean 'I do

Chelsey Donn:

to the store and buy backup ice?

Chelsey Donn:

What did you do?

Trey Gerrald:

'I do have A' bag of ice that was in the freezer from like, you know, that

Trey Gerrald:

So I've been using that, but like it's stupid ice.

Trey Gerrald:

It's like A' bag of ice.

Trey Gerrald:

It's like melting.

Trey Gerrald:

It doesn't last,

Chelsey Donn:

ice.

Trey Gerrald:

but it's just frustrating that like, 'I 'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Don't get to say keep producing ice because 'I 'I, remember when 'I moved in, it was A' new

Trey Gerrald:

When you have A' new filter.

Chelsey Donn:

Oh, oh, you do like

Trey Gerrald:

Yes, it's A' filtration system

Chelsey Donn:

um,

Trey Gerrald:

there'll be like carbon dust on the ice.

Trey Gerrald:

So I'm like, I'm not, and on Amazon, because it was like midnight, I'm not

Chelsey Donn:

So you did find it on Amazon or A' compatible one.

Trey Gerrald:

'I found one that says it is, um, comparable with, so I'm like anticipating

Chelsey Donn:

Oh God.

Chelsey Donn:

'I be like, you voided your warranty.

Trey Gerrald:

at this point where I'm like, 'I don't enough with the smartness.

Trey Gerrald:

Like, don't like 'I, know the hose is plugged in.

Trey Gerrald:

Just make the ice 'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Don't care if it's dirty.

Trey Gerrald:

We're all gonna die.

Trey Gerrald:

It's fine.

Trey Gerrald:

If 'I die, it's fine.

Trey Gerrald:

We're all gonna go.

Trey Gerrald:

Give me the ice.

Chelsey Donn:

you, give Trey the ice God, but like, yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

What A' pain, what an example of like A' modern convenience that,

Trey Gerrald:

Mm-hmm.

Trey Gerrald:

, I'm dependent

Chelsey Donn:

you were dependent on it and now when we don't have it, we're like, what the heck?

Trey Gerrald:

'I just don't like the ability to not be able to like produce the ice like that.

Trey Gerrald:

It's

Chelsey Donn:

to not have the autonomy like you should be able to be like, disregard,

Trey Gerrald:

That's right.

Trey Gerrald:

It's the autonomy being taken from me.

Chelsey Donn:

Like, yes, 'I, see your filter request and I'm going to deny it.

Trey Gerrald:

Right, right.

Chelsey Donn:

All right.

Chelsey Donn:

Well,

Trey Gerrald:

my Complaint.

Trey Gerrald:

Let's move on.

Trey Gerrald:

I'm too mad.

Chelsey Donn:

listen, it's in the ledger now, so hopefully the authorities will be notified.

Trey Gerrald:

All right.

Chelsey Donn:

All right.

Trey Gerrald:

ChelseyBD.

Trey Gerrald:

Let's listen to someone else's Complaint and then let's dissect it.

Trey Gerrald:

Do you want to maybe do our title?

Chelsey Donn:

please.

VOICEOVER:

Review, That, Review.

Chelsey Donn:

As you know, we are your trustee Review Queen.

Chelsey Donn:

We bring in reviews from the internet that we feel need to be inspected.

Trey Gerrald:

We read you A' review.

Trey Gerrald:

We break it down and then we rate the impact of that review on A' scale from zero to five crowns.

Trey Gerrald:

It is A', very regal process that we

VOICEOVER:

Assess, That, Kvetch.

Trey Gerrald:

and ChelseyBD you're gonna share today.

Trey Gerrald:

What have you brought in for us?

Chelsey Donn:

Well, well, wow.

Chelsey Donn:

'I have brought in A' Yelp review for ultrasound, laser tag.

Chelsey Donn:

Now, Trey, have you ever played laser tag before?

Trey Gerrald:

Oh my God, it feels so nineties to me.

Trey Gerrald:

Yes, there was A' Laser Tech place growing up.

Trey Gerrald:

'I was obsessed.

Chelsey Donn:

was obsessed growing up.

Chelsey Donn:

'I don't remember like exactly when it became A' thing, but as soon as

Chelsey Donn:

Like this was A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Very, very common thing.

Chelsey Donn:

And 'I feel like there aren't that many of these laser tag places still going around

Chelsey Donn:

You know,

Trey Gerrald:

That feels like the niche.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah, like four, four, you know, 4D experience type thing, right?

Chelsey Donn:

So 'I thought, let's check this, uh, laser tag place out on Yelp and, and then 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Read A' pase review A' PS two star review of the Ultra Zone laser tag.

Chelsey Donn:

Do you want to hear it?

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah, let's do it.

Chelsey Donn:

Okay, here we go.

Chelsey Donn:

This review is only about A' birthday party.

Chelsey Donn:

Short version.

Chelsey Donn:

Get everything in writing.

Chelsey Donn:

and manage your expectations.

Chelsey Donn:

It's being run by kids in their twenties.

Chelsey Donn:

After all, long version.

Chelsey Donn:

If A' staff member says, don't worry about it, no problem.

Chelsey Donn:

In response to A' request, that doesn't mean yes.

Chelsey Donn:

We'll take care of that.

Chelsey Donn:

It means 'I have been trained to agree with you.

Chelsey Donn:

Even if 'I have no intention to follow up on this myself or even communicate with other

Trey Gerrald:

Oh man.

Chelsey Donn:

It also means shut the hell up, but that will come later.

Chelsey Donn:

'I called six months in advance and said, I've looked on your parties and 'I only have one.

Chelsey Donn:

. You have plastic tablecloths and styrofoam cups and plastic plates and plastic forks and plastic

Chelsey Donn:

Huge ball and stuffed in A' dumpster after two hours.

Chelsey Donn:

This is pretty standard, but I've had parties, other places, and we've managed to minimize waste.

Chelsey Donn:

For our party, can we at least use paper plates and cups and maybe skip the plastic tape of cloth?

Chelsey Donn:

'I was told, don't worry about it.

Chelsey Donn:

No problem.

Chelsey Donn:

'I asked, would you prefer that 'I pick up these items and bring them to you in advance?

Chelsey Donn:

'I was told that if 'I paid an additional $100 splash upgrade, she could buy

Chelsey Donn:

Now no one would mistake me and my husband for environmental crusaders.

Chelsey Donn:

We're reasonably competent recyclers.

Chelsey Donn:

At best 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Just think we can do A' little better.

Chelsey Donn:

10 days before the party we drop by to check out the garden room.

Chelsey Donn:

The best and largest.

Chelsey Donn:

There was A' suffocating mildew, smell as in hit your asthma inhaler.

Chelsey Donn:

Take A' Benadryl, go home and wash your clothes level stench.

Chelsey Donn:

Jess said that the rainwater had gotten in but promised it would be cleaned soon.

Chelsey Donn:

The day of the party.

Chelsey Donn:

Our assigned party person had never heard about any of.

Chelsey Donn:

The garden room carpet and ceiling stains were still visible, didn't care and smell was ungodly.

Chelsey Donn:

The only change were the GLAD plugins.

Chelsey Donn:

'I opened the door to try to air it out and started to set up anyway.

Chelsey Donn:

But my son has the kind of asthma and allergies that require me to keep an

Chelsey Donn:

So when he said my chest is tight, 'I stopped unpacking the food and decorations.

Trey Gerrald:

Oh.

Chelsey Donn:

'I asked the manager if we could move to another room.

Chelsey Donn:

To his credit, the acting manager seemed to be trying, but the new room was A' third of the.

Chelsey Donn:

Cramped and dark.

Chelsey Donn:

The extra A' hundred dollars 'I had paid were spent on Darth Vader

Chelsey Donn:

These are cool, but A' real problem.

Chelsey Donn:

We had to listen to our party person scold the kids constantly for

Chelsey Donn:

Both the manager and our assigned party person claimed they'd never heard anything about

Chelsey Donn:

We saw other party captains laughing with the kids, but our was A', straight

Chelsey Donn:

A', grumpy, sulin, unhelpful teenager.

Chelsey Donn:

'I still tipped 17% because I'm high maintenance, but I'm not A' total asshole.

Chelsey Donn:

They didn't even provide enough water bottles for every guest to get one.

Chelsey Donn:

'I spent hundreds of dollars for the guests to not even get.

Chelsey Donn:

After all the staff's promises at the end of the party, they even stuffed

Chelsey Donn:

'I paid extra money for them to do what they were going to do anyway and got treated badly for it.

Chelsey Donn:

My husband said if you give me the trash bag, 'I can throw the water bottles in it

Chelsey Donn:

Don't worry about.

Chelsey Donn:

The staff insisted that 'I was the only customer to ever complain about

Chelsey Donn:

But on our way out, 'I passed.

Chelsey Donn:

A' mom, who was wrapping up A' party in there, 'I waved and said, did you have A'?

Chelsey Donn:

Good party.

Chelsey Donn:

She said The room smelled awful, but what am 'I gonna do?

Chelsey Donn:

Not have the.

Chelsey Donn:

Okay.

Chelsey Donn:

And there were also two photos included with little things, so I'm gonna share those quickly.

Chelsey Donn:

Okay.

Chelsey Donn:

So no scratch and sniff.

Chelsey Donn:

So just imagine you're trapped in A' Dumpster with five mill Dewey shower curtains.

Chelsey Donn:

And five Glade plugins and it's A' picture of the garden room, which does look kind of like dingy,

Chelsey Donn:

Tip for staff.

Chelsey Donn:

If it was your idea to supply both inflatable swords and balloons, you kind of don't

Trey Gerrald:

Okay, so wait.

Trey Gerrald:

Looking at this image, they're like balloons themselves.

Trey Gerrald:

The Darth

Chelsey Donn:

inflatable.

Chelsey Donn:

They're inflatable swords.

Chelsey Donn:

That's A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

And then you could see that there's like balloons on strings in the BA and 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Guess you know they're hitting each other, they're hitting the balloons.

Chelsey Donn:

But 'I sort of agree with the mom in this respect.

Chelsey Donn:

Like if she gave them A' hundred dollars and this is what they provided.

Chelsey Donn:

And what do you think A', bunch of like child boys, seven year old boys are gonna do with them?

Trey Gerrald:

'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Mean 'I.

Trey Gerrald:

How did you find this?

Chelsey Donn:

'I.

Chelsey Donn:

This is literally down the street from my house.

Chelsey Donn:

'I found this actually because A' friend of mine had his birthday here.

Trey Gerrald:

A' A' P is like such A' conundrum,

Chelsey Donn:

She really is

Trey Gerrald:

this is so annoying.

Trey Gerrald:

And this came up on Dave and Busters cuz we don't want to talk about laser tag

Chelsey Donn:

'I know, but the thing about A' is she constantly called it

Chelsey Donn:

She's like, this is only about birthday parties.

Chelsey Donn:

You know, like

Trey Gerrald:

That's

Chelsey Donn:

she had A' level of self-awareness.

Chelsey Donn:

'I think

Trey Gerrald:

Also, 'I wanna say at the very beginning, like the short version, like it

Chelsey Donn:

What do you mean?

Chelsey Donn:

Like what she says in the short

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

It's like short version, get everything in writing, and this is run by teenagers.

Trey Gerrald:

Like, I'm like, okay, that doesn't sound that bad.

Chelsey Donn:

Right.

Trey Gerrald:

It's funny because 'I also wrote down, wow, plastic warrior.

Trey Gerrald:

And the next sentence was like, my husband and 'I are not environmentalist

Chelsey Donn:

Right, right.

Chelsey Donn:

But that's why 'I feel like it was interesting to me because it was like, oh God, like

Chelsey Donn:

But then they'd be like, we're not Crusaders.

Chelsey Donn:

So then I'm like, okay, well they're just like, we should be more aware.

Chelsey Donn:

Like 'I don't know.

Chelsey Donn:

They like managed to get me back on their side.

Chelsey Donn:

A' few.

Trey Gerrald:

Interesting.

Trey Gerrald:

Cuz I'm not on her side.

Trey Gerrald:

I'm very, I'm very annoyed.

Trey Gerrald:

'I also want to be like,

Chelsey Donn:

God.

Trey Gerrald:

Did you use cloth diapers for this little child you're

Trey Gerrald:

Cuz you're so concerned about other people.

Trey Gerrald:

Waste and plastic and,

Chelsey Donn:

'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Just also feel like it's LA though, like it's not Kansas 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Okay.

Chelsey Donn:

A'.

Chelsey Donn:

'I cannot be an anomaly.

Chelsey Donn:

There's gotta be like other people in A' that are like 'I don't want pla like 'I think.

Chelsey Donn:

Right?

Chelsey Donn:

This review was written in 2015, to be fair, but 'I think at this point, 'I think like true plastic

Chelsey Donn:

Think it's A' illegal in California.

Chelsey Donn:

Like 'I don't even, like, you can't order it on Amazon to this.

Trey Gerrald:

Oh, wow.

Trey Gerrald:

'I didn't know that.

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

so like it is an issue like we are in California.

Chelsey Donn:

She's, she's not gonna be the only person.

Chelsey Donn:

'I don't think that's gonna read this review and feel this way, but

Chelsey Donn:

Everybody's not gonna feel this way for me, like the plastic cutlery.

Chelsey Donn:

Almost like could have been left out of the argument besides the fact that they didn't

Chelsey Donn:

Like 'I guess it's important for that reason, but really like the mill Dewey room, which did look

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah, but 'I was also anticipating, like when they talk about the ceiling stains

Trey Gerrald:

Like you can see water stains

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

There was just A', but that picture of the garden room, every, like the walls are

Trey Gerrald:

Like it's hard to s it's hard to see, like, it isn't like as glaring as like white tiles when you

Chelsey Donn:

Right, right,

Trey Gerrald:

'I mean.

Trey Gerrald:

I'm, I'm glad to get the context about like Los Angeles laws.

Trey Gerrald:

This was also in 2015, so this was, you know, A' while ago.

Chelsey Donn:

Right.

Trey Gerrald:

'I.

Trey Gerrald:

'I don't know.

Trey Gerrald:

'I, just A'.

Trey Gerrald:

P.

Trey Gerrald:

Self identifies as high maintenance.

Trey Gerrald:

And 'I would say that That's saying it nicely.

Chelsey Donn:

'I, . 'I think that it's 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

'I agree 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Think A' is definitely A' high maintenance.

Chelsey Donn:

But 'I like the fact that A' P called it out like 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Do think that there is A' level of awareness here that is not present in all reviews that look like?

Trey Gerrald:

'I hear 'I

Chelsey Donn:

You know, like, like 'I think that there are A', lot

Chelsey Donn:

And there's not even like A' moment of contemplation of like, maybe this is me.

Chelsey Donn:

Or even like my son has like asthma.

Chelsey Donn:

The kind of asthma that you have to have an EpiPen around.

Chelsey Donn:

So like that's also like, This is an extenuating circumstance.

Chelsey Donn:

We're calling it out.

Chelsey Donn:

So 'I did like the Upfrontness.

Chelsey Donn:

Even if 'I don't necessarily think that everybody that has A' birthday party at

Trey Gerrald:

Well, that's interesting because it all felt justifiable as you like were

Trey Gerrald:

'I can't be around mildew bitch.

Chelsey Donn:

right.

Trey Gerrald:

There's mildew everywhere, like 'I.

Trey Gerrald:

It was landing to me in A' much different way than it was landing to you.

Trey Gerrald:

So this is gonna be A'

Chelsey Donn:

But that's good.

Trey Gerrald:

but I'm also like, you did not rent A' room at the Ritz Carlton.

Trey Gerrald:

You idiot.

Trey Gerrald:

This is laser tag down the street.

Trey Gerrald:

Calm down honey bunny.

Trey Gerrald:

This is A' laser tag that's run by teenagers.

Trey Gerrald:

Of course it's gonna be dirty.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah, and maybe that is like why the short review was,

Chelsey Donn:

Manage your expectation.

Chelsey Donn:

It's run by, like manage your expectations.

Chelsey Donn:

Maybe that's like maybe Anna is writing that short review to herself,

Trey Gerrald:

Hmm.

Chelsey Donn:

not worried about the plastic or paid the extra A' hundred dollars.

Chelsey Donn:

You know, 'I think

Trey Gerrald:

All right.

Trey Gerrald:

Okay.

Trey Gerrald:

So the A' hundred dollars conversation, because 'I do feel annoyed about that and 'I think that

Trey Gerrald:

Anna was told Anne paid.

Trey Gerrald:

And there, there's like the whole conversation about getting editing

Trey Gerrald:

That's very useful.

Trey Gerrald:

That is like A' big

Chelsey Donn:

And also Anna was like, let me, like, I'm happy to provide the things.

Chelsey Donn:

Like that's again, when 'I was Team A', cuz 'I was like, you know, it's not just like

Chelsey Donn:

She's like, 'I would rather not have our party use styrofoam cups and

Chelsey Donn:

Like the answer to that should have just been like,

Trey Gerrald:

I'm also hearing just this conversation about parenting other children.

Trey Gerrald:

This is what I'm hearing, so like.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah,

Trey Gerrald:

'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Get that.

Trey Gerrald:

The light sas were like those like little like air pump inflatable toys,

Trey Gerrald:

That's what it boils down to in Star Wars world.

Trey Gerrald:

Of course kids are gonna hit each other with those, but it's interesting to me that Anna

Trey Gerrald:

They say party captain, party person.

Chelsey Donn:

Oh,

Trey Gerrald:

person was sort of like, calm down, calm down, stop.

Trey Gerrald:

And it's like the parents don't seem to like be like, stop being aggressive.

Trey Gerrald:

Like that thing about like, did A' not think that they were like getting A'

Trey Gerrald:

It seems

Chelsey Donn:

'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Don't know.

Chelsey Donn:

'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Just feel like someone like having A' nephew and also having like worked with kids.

Chelsey Donn:

'I, 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Guess maybe 'I just like feel for A'.

Chelsey Donn:

A' little bit more because 'I think like filling A' room with gasoline and like lighting A' spark

Chelsey Donn:

It's like, well, duh.

Chelsey Donn:

What is gonna happen?

Chelsey Donn:

There's just no way of stopping.

Chelsey Donn:

There's no way to stop an entire room full of kids from doing this.

Trey Gerrald:

And then here's another question.

Trey Gerrald:

Do you think that the Darth Vader masks and those inflatable light savers were made of plastic

Chelsey Donn:

definitely.

Chelsey Donn:

Well, that's why 'I, like 'I kind of hopped off the review for A' second when she was

Chelsey Donn:

And 'I was like, wait, A' second.

Trey Gerrald:

that's plastic too,

Chelsey Donn:

that's plastic too.

Chelsey Donn:

But then she was like, but then my husband offered, put them in the recycling bin.

Chelsey Donn:

Like 'I think that's the issue is like they're clearly not recycling at all.

Chelsey Donn:

They're clearly just gathering everything at the end, throwing it in

Trey Gerrald:

Well, do we know that?

Trey Gerrald:

Or did Anna assume that,

Chelsey Donn:

'I think we know that cuz they're just like putting it, if you're,

Trey Gerrald:

especially these teenagers, one could

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

There's just like, no way.

Trey Gerrald:

right?

Trey Gerrald:

It's occurring certain

Chelsey Donn:

the back of this 'I know exactly where this laser tag is and in the back

Trey Gerrald:

like A' Strip

Chelsey Donn:

That's like right near where you park.

Chelsey Donn:

So like the guy could easily have just like walked to his car and done it.

Trey Gerrald:

All right.

Trey Gerrald:

So do we think that this is A' valuable review?

Trey Gerrald:

Like is there new, unique information?

Chelsey Donn:

'I mean for me.

Chelsey Donn:

There is 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Think 'I Learned A' lot about planning A' party here, which 'I think is common.

Trey Gerrald:

Exactly right.

Trey Gerrald:

And there's gonna, especially these rooms, like I'm hearing that like

Trey Gerrald:

I'm not

Chelsey Donn:

and also like the first line of the review, sorry, but the first line of the R

Chelsey Donn:

So if 'I am going to Yelp to look for reviews about laser tag and 'I, see that first line?

Chelsey Donn:

I'm skipping.

Chelsey Donn:

So 'I like that, or 'I might read the short version, you know what 'I mean and then move on.

Chelsey Donn:

So to me that was A', little bit of A' queenly.

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

'I do think that there 'I it.

Trey Gerrald:

It does feel like the long review is more palpable and it seems like the short review isn't 'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Don't know.

Trey Gerrald:

'I just felt like that would, that's not how 'I would short review this.

Trey Gerrald:

'I think my short word view would be like they don't follow through on their promises.

Trey Gerrald:

We were swindled.

Trey Gerrald:

They don't care about the environment.

Trey Gerrald:

We didn't feel supported.

Chelsey Donn:

But the, let me show you the way, I'm gonna share my screen again.

Chelsey Donn:

'I just wanna show you the way that they like wrote it to me.

Chelsey Donn:

It's like this, this is A' review about A' birthday party, short version, get

Chelsey Donn:

It's being run by kids after.

Chelsey Donn:

All right?

Chelsey Donn:

So like, this is like one section that we have like space, space before, long version.

Chelsey Donn:

So 'I really do feel like, This whole first section is like A' speed bump

Chelsey Donn:

Oh, I'm not going there for A' birthday party.

Chelsey Donn:

Okay, well short version.

Chelsey Donn:

Okay, cool, cool, cool.

Chelsey Donn:

Got it off

Trey Gerrald:

Right 'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Don't think it's A'.

Trey Gerrald:

Proper summary of the long review is my point.

Chelsey Donn:

No, but 'I also don't think it include like 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Think if you had A' birthday party, you'd keep reading.

Chelsey Donn:

'I don't know 'I guess that's my thinking is like if you are gonna not read this review

Chelsey Donn:

You know,

Trey Gerrald:

do we think that they're being truthful or shad?

Chelsey Donn:

that's 'I feel like the main question because 'I think they're being truthful.

Chelsey Donn:

A', little shady.

Chelsey Donn:

But 'I think, you think that Anna's more shady.

Trey Gerrald:

'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Just think that Anna's expectation is too high for A'.

Trey Gerrald:

Little seven year old kid's.

Trey Gerrald:

Laser tag, birthday party that's run by teenagers.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

Separate of the money conversation.

Trey Gerrald:

'I think like if you paid more and you made this request and they said they would take care of it.

Trey Gerrald:

That's the real problem here.

Chelsey Donn:

right, right.

Trey Gerrald:

common fluke.

Trey Gerrald:

'I mean if this is California and it's illegal to do plastic stuff, then like

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

And like 'I, think 'I wanted to know that the rooms are like dingy and mildewey.

Chelsey Donn:

That's kind of gross to me.

Chelsey Donn:

'I would, if 'I was gonna do A' party there even today, which 'I am gonna ask

Chelsey Donn:

But anyway, point is, if 'I was gonna plan A' party at this location, 'I would

Trey Gerrald:

And sniff it out,

Chelsey Donn:

'I wanna sniff out the party room?

Chelsey Donn:

And 'I think that that's like credited to Anna.

Trey Gerrald:

do you think?

Trey Gerrald:

Yes, for sure.

Trey Gerrald:

Do you think that the mom at the very, like the last sentence, do you think the mom's

Chelsey Donn:

'I.

Trey Gerrald:

it was truly that, then it really, there's A' real book

Chelsey Donn:

'I mean 'I?

Chelsey Donn:

Think that the fa like, first of all, 'I hate the smell of Glad Plug-ins.

Chelsey Donn:

And Glad

Trey Gerrald:

So strong.

Chelsey Donn:

Our, they actually really do activate my allergies super bad.

Chelsey Donn:

Like just the,

Trey Gerrald:

Well, they're just masking.

Trey Gerrald:

They're not doing anything.

Chelsey Donn:

They're just masking and they're like so strong and so artificial and so

Trey Gerrald:

Yes.

Trey Gerrald:

'I agree,

Chelsey Donn:

just for me, gets like locked in my nostrils and 'I, like have trouble breathing.

Chelsey Donn:

So if we are to take A' on her word, like even if the mildew wasn't an issue, which it sounds

Chelsey Donn:

I'm sure it did smell with like nowhere to really like circulate it.

Chelsey Donn:

Ugh.

Chelsey Donn:

I'm sure it smelled.

Trey Gerrald:

So were we entertained, what do you think of the humor?

Chelsey Donn:

'I was mildly entertained by, by A'.

Chelsey Donn:

P 'I could really, like 'I, could really get A' point of view on them.

Chelsey Donn:

'I don't, I'm not saying that like 'I necessarily want to go out for drinks

Trey Gerrald:

Same

Chelsey Donn:

you know,

Trey Gerrald:

but 'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Don't think there, there isn't A'.

Trey Gerrald:

Lot of humor in here cuz 'I think she's very

Chelsey Donn:

'I don't think there's like straight like open mic humor.

Trey Gerrald:

impact.

Trey Gerrald:

Deal breaker.

Trey Gerrald:

There's definitely an impact for me.

Chelsey Donn:

impact for sure.

Chelsey Donn:

All right.

Chelsey Donn:

Anything else to consider for Anna?

Chelsey Donn:

Do we like the photos?

Chelsey Donn:

Is that like, do we, you

Trey Gerrald:

'I think including photos always make like is always A', queenly move.

Trey Gerrald:

Always, always, always.

Trey Gerrald:

Especially in this circumstance, like we're never gonna know the smell,

Chelsey Donn:

can imagine that smell smelling that, that room, sorry.

Chelsey Donn:

Smelling like

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

Oh, for sure.

Chelsey Donn:

'I do think it, it adds to the truthful nest.

Chelsey Donn:

To

Trey Gerrald:

'I think 'I can crown

Chelsey Donn:

'I can count Anna.

Trey Gerrald:

All right, let's do it.

Trey Gerrald:

So ChelseyBD and 'I each have our own set of zero to five crown cards.

Trey Gerrald:

In an effort to be fair and not influenced by one another, we will simultaneously reveal our rating.

VOICEOVER:

The Queens are Tabulating

VOICEOVER:

school.

Chelsey Donn:

Wow.

Chelsey Donn:

Queens are unanimous.

Chelsey Donn:

Three and A' Half

Trey Gerrald:

Really

Chelsey Donn:

crowns.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

Trey, you go first.

Chelsey Donn:

Why?

Chelsey Donn:

Three?

Chelsey Donn:

And A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Half crowns for A'.

Trey Gerrald:

Well 'I think A' rubs me the wrong way.

Trey Gerrald:

'I think A' has like really extreme expectations.

Trey Gerrald:

'I do think that Anna operates in high trauma drama all the time.

Trey Gerrald:

'I think that maybe the child has an EpiPen issue and, and Anna leads.

Trey Gerrald:

Her life with like my child is, has more issues in the world like 'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Just think there's A', there's A' frenzy around Anna's needs and center of attention.

Trey Gerrald:

Needing to like confirm with the other mom that's in the room.

Trey Gerrald:

Like something about that really rubs me

Chelsey Donn:

right.

Trey Gerrald:

way, probably from my own, um, history.

Trey Gerrald:

So like, you know,

Chelsey Donn:

A' little transference.

Chelsey Donn:

Sure, sure.

Chelsey Donn:

Yep.

Trey Gerrald:

But when 'I really boil it down, 'I think Anna acknowledging that they're high

Trey Gerrald:

But at the end of the day, A' is A' paying customer.

Trey Gerrald:

Anna made requests they were not met.

Trey Gerrald:

A' was disappointed.

Trey Gerrald:

'I don't agree, but that's not what this is necessarily about.

Trey Gerrald:

'I took the crowns off because we don't talk about laser tag at all.

Trey Gerrald:

And 'I kind of think it's like this is A' kid's birthday party.

Trey Gerrald:

If you go to Party City, Every tablecloth are those plastic tablecloths.

Trey Gerrald:

So like 'I understand the concern, but 'I mean 'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Don't think we're in agreement here, but 'I definitely think

VOICEOVER:

Oh my God, it's A'.

Chelsey Donn:

'I.

Chelsey Donn:

'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Feel that from you and 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

'I Am saying maybe.

Trey Gerrald:

but 'I think this is really funny.

Trey Gerrald:

'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Think it's A'.

Trey Gerrald:

Really funny review 'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Don't think A' thinks it's funny.

Trey Gerrald:

Uh, but you know, even though 'I just 'I don't have the same point of view as Anna and I'm

Trey Gerrald:

And 'I have A' big impact.

Trey Gerrald:

'I have A' feeling that it's, it's musky in there.

Trey Gerrald:

It's not clean.

Trey Gerrald:

It's the same with.

Trey Gerrald:

Color me.

Trey Gerrald:

Mine.

Trey Gerrald:

It's like these, these situations are usually run by kids.

Trey Gerrald:

It's like A' first kind of job place.

Trey Gerrald:

And so, you know, three and A' half because 'I hear the concerns.

Trey Gerrald:

'I know that 'I would like not do an upgrade.

Trey Gerrald:

'I would come with my own decorations, like 'I would de if 'I was that concerned about

Trey Gerrald:

Not rely on other people, but 'I hear that they were put at ease and told

Trey Gerrald:

So three and A' half.

Trey Gerrald:

Why?

Trey Gerrald:

Okay, so why are we unanimous?

Trey Gerrald:

Why'd you do three and A' half

Chelsey Donn:

'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Just think we need to point out that we found A', new 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Got you right.

Chelsey Donn:

Don't worry about it.

Chelsey Donn:

No

Trey Gerrald:

Oh yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

Don't worry

Chelsey Donn:

new 'I got.

Trey Gerrald:

Oh yeah, we didn't even talk about that cuz 'I was hearing like you

Trey Gerrald:

Don't worry about

Chelsey Donn:

But 'I did that like the way that Anna wrote it, cuz 'I felt

Chelsey Donn:

You know what 'I

Trey Gerrald:

Oh, for sure.

Chelsey Donn:

anyway, 'I liked A'.

Chelsey Donn:

'I wasn't as turned off as you were.

Chelsey Donn:

So that's where the three and A' Half Crowns are coming from.

Chelsey Donn:

'I took off the one and A' half cuz 'I think where A' really failed us.

Chelsey Donn:

Like if Anna was coming to me, um, as like her advisor about writing.

Chelsey Donn:

Review and how A' 'I could, and 'I must remind you, this is A' two-star review.

Chelsey Donn:

Not A', not A', not A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Five.

Chelsey Donn:

Um, we should have emphasized that more.

Chelsey Donn:

But anyway, point is, Anna, you're missing A' compliment sandwich.

Chelsey Donn:

If you put A' compliment sandwich in here.

Chelsey Donn:

'I really feel like this review would've shown 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Think you could've done that by talking about the laser tag, right?

Chelsey Donn:

The laser tag was amazing.

Chelsey Donn:

My kids had A' great time.

Chelsey Donn:

That being said this, like if, if Anna had added A' little.

Chelsey Donn:

of the topic of the place, which is obviously the laser tag itself and utilize that

Chelsey Donn:

'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Really think this could have been A' Review, Queen.

Chelsey Donn:

But 'I think because Anna didn't talk about those things and because I'm leaving

Chelsey Donn:

But 'I, 'I do think it's A' solid review and it, it made me chuckle when 'I

Chelsey Donn:

So three and A' half.

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah, 'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Mean 'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Think knowing that you're A' Karen doesn't remove the fact that you are A' Karen.

Trey Gerrald:

You can still be carrying, carrying about.

Chelsey Donn:

'I don't see and 'I disagree.

Chelsey Donn:

'I think that knowing you are A', Karen is inherently non-car like,

Trey Gerrald:

Maybe it's um,

Chelsey Donn:

like 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Think it's, yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

Carrie, maybe like maybe A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Carrie is A' Karen that knows that they're A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Karen

Trey Gerrald:

A' baby Karen 'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Think A' p thought that this was the ozone laser tag, but it's not.

Trey Gerrald:

It's the ultra zone.

Chelsey Donn:

Oh, you're right.

Chelsey Donn:

We, there was A'.

Trey Gerrald:

get A' global warming.

Trey Gerrald:

Get A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Oh good.

Chelsey Donn:

Good one.

Chelsey Donn:

Ozone Ultra

Trey Gerrald:

So good that you left

Chelsey Donn:

A'.

Chelsey Donn:

. At first 'I was like, oh, was there A' famous, uh, laser tag place called Ozone.

Chelsey Donn:

I'm an idiot.

Chelsey Donn:

Anyway, A', A'.

Chelsey Donn:

P.

Trey Gerrald:

review.

Trey Gerrald:

Very funny to just stumble upon that and it's like

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah, 'I, right?

Chelsey Donn:

My Queen.

Chelsey Donn:

Does that mean that we've reached the most regal portion of our show?

Chelsey Donn:

Trey, who are you inducting for?

VOICEOVER:

My Royal.

Trey Gerrald:

All right.

Trey Gerrald:

Today, 'I have an app that 'I want to induct.

Trey Gerrald:

So 'I downloaded this app literally like 3, 4, 5 months ago, and 'I really debated whether or not

Chelsey Donn:

Yes.

Trey Gerrald:

and 'I, 'I think that got into the algorithm.

Trey Gerrald:

And so 'I started seeing ads for.

Trey Gerrald:

Indel Indel, E N D E L.

Trey Gerrald:

It's the last name of this like sound engineer person.

Trey Gerrald:

Anyway, it's, it's very similar to Calm.

Trey Gerrald:

I'm imagining 'I have never paid the like subscription, but there is A' free version

Trey Gerrald:

Personalized soundscapes that scientifically help you focus, relax, and sleep.

Trey Gerrald:

It's

Chelsey Donn:

Oh,

Chelsey Donn:

that's cool.

Trey Gerrald:

It's very cool and I've read A' lot of this stuff, but 'I and 'I use

Trey Gerrald:

Because basically what it does is it goes through all this neuroscience stuff like, like that's

Chelsey Donn:

testing you

Trey Gerrald:

No.

Trey Gerrald:

So it it, like, they did all of these studies over years to like figure out in like, um,

Trey Gerrald:

And so in Dell, Basically, it always starts with these like, um, chimes basically, and you're

Trey Gerrald:

It's all designed in beats that like your breath starts to mimic the rhythm,

Trey Gerrald:

when like you're like studying and like, anyway, they have all these different

Trey Gerrald:

The free version is basically like the sleeping one, and there's also like an

Trey Gerrald:

You can set A' timer 'I, use that for the power naps.

Trey Gerrald:

It just puts your body into A' synced motion and so it can tell when is

Trey Gerrald:

It's just this whole thing, it's really amazing.

Trey Gerrald:

I'm really into it and I'm telling.

Trey Gerrald:

When 'I use it for power naps, 'I literally wake up the most refreshed I've ever felt.

Trey Gerrald:

It really is weird and crazy and I've almost considered like buying it many times, but

Trey Gerrald:

Um, not that he would really care, but.

Chelsey Donn:

'I was gonna say, not that he would care.

Trey Gerrald:

because he just falls asleep in A'.

Trey Gerrald:

Hot sec.

Trey Gerrald:

But anyway, I'm inducting Endo, E N D E l, 'I 'I.

Trey Gerrald:

Totally recommend at least giving it A'.

Trey Gerrald:

Try to anyone that's curious cuz it has helped me fall asleep, especially with like just 'I,

Trey Gerrald:

So 'I, it's working for me.

Trey Gerrald:

'I love it.

Trey Gerrald:

And 'I wanna share it with all of you.

Trey Gerrald:

So that is why 'I am inducting for My.

Trey Gerrald:

Royal Highness the Inal app.

Chelsey Donn:

Wow.

Chelsey Donn:

'I might just have to go download that when we're, when we're outta

Trey Gerrald:

Do you do

Chelsey Donn:

Take A' little power nap.

Chelsey Donn:

'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Do 'I still do 'I use it when 'I can't sleep at night and like,

Chelsey Donn:

It's sort of like my last resort, but it usually works.

Chelsey Donn:

So.

Trey Gerrald:

The cool thing about this too, 'I, forgot to mention, is that

Trey Gerrald:

So it'll like register your heartbeat and stuff.

Trey Gerrald:

And then also on our smart TV it'll show like all these like, you know, waveforms moving and all of

Chelsey Donn:

And then it'll like go to your fridge and be like, you know,

Trey Gerrald:

filter.

Chelsey Donn:

you need A' water filter,

Trey Gerrald:

Anyway, so that's that.

Trey Gerrald:

Check it out, Queens.

Chelsey Donn:

I'm definitely going to,

Trey Gerrald:

Wait, ChelseyBD, do we have time for A' Royal review?

Chelsey Donn:

we always have time for A' Royal overview.

VOICEOVER:

Maybe it's time for some Royal reviews.

VOICEOVER:

Yes.

Trey Gerrald:

All right, so today's Royal review is from User Smart Feedback on Apple Podcasts.

Trey Gerrald:

They write.

Trey Gerrald:

Love it.

Trey Gerrald:

Trey Gerrald:

Do you think they listened to the Dave and Busters one?

Trey Gerrald:

Probably.

Trey Gerrald:

Did we talk about ski ball?

Chelsey Donn:

We did.

Chelsey Donn:

And then in the social media for that week when we did this, the ski ball episode, they

Trey Gerrald:

Oh,

Chelsey Donn:

to get the best score.

Chelsey Donn:

And 'I think James had commented on it.

Chelsey Donn:

So maybe that was how smart feedback came to find us.

Chelsey Donn:

But we're so glad that you did.

Trey Gerrald:

we love that you left us A' review.

Chelsey Donn:

This is like A'.

Chelsey Donn:

Perfect example of 'I.

Chelsey Donn:

Chelsey Donn:

Look at this.

Chelsey Donn:

James told A' friend and now we, we have A', new Queen in the kingdom.

Chelsey Donn:

Trey Gerrald:

Chelsey Donn:

And that's what your refrigerator's supposed to do.

Chelsey Donn:

But you know, we won't

Chelsey Donn:

go

Trey Gerrald:

so mad.

Trey Gerrald:

Anyway, thank you.

Trey Gerrald:
