Speaker:inspiring, and fun for today's episode.
Speaker:So for this milestone episode, I'll be sharing 50 awesome
Speaker:reasons to just say yes.
Speaker:To intermittent fasting.
Speaker:Let's be real.
Speaker:It's back to school season, and with the stresses of work and packing
Speaker:kids lunches, carpools, and the never ending stream of emails, life is busy.
Speaker:But what if you could boost your focus, clear your mind, and even drop a few
Speaker:of those coffee and donut pounds, all by saying yes to a new way of eating?
Speaker:And that is what intermittent fasting is all about.
Speaker:You pick a window for eating, you take a break from constant

Speaker:Naturally, no pills, no artificial crap.
Speaker:If F helps you fit back into your favorite jeans.

Speaker:Number two, intermittent fasting totally simplifies your meal.
Speaker:Planning by reducing the number of meals you need to prepare and worry about,
Speaker:it is so much simpler when you're only planning for one or maybe two meals a day.
Speaker:Number three, fasting improves insulin sensitivity, decreasing
Speaker:the risk of type two diabetes.
Speaker:Number four, and one of my absolute favorite reasons to say yes to if
Speaker:F is intermittent fasting promotes autophagy, helping your body clean
Speaker:out old and nasty damaged cells, it's seriously like spring cleaning.

Speaker:Reason number five, if F has the potential to support heart health
Speaker:by improving blood pressure and cholesterol levels, how cool is that?
Speaker:Number six.
Speaker:Another super awesome reason intermittent fasting reduces
Speaker:inflammation throughout the body.
Speaker:OMG, this benefit has been ginormous for myself, my husband,
Speaker:and so many people that I know.
Speaker:Who do IF number seven.
Speaker:Intermittent fasting improves brain health.
Speaker:The focus and mental clarity that comes from fasting is nothing short of amazing.
Speaker:Number eight, intermittent fasting is a great weight loss plateau breaker.
Speaker:If you have been going down the traditional dieting road and are
Speaker:stuck, give intermittent fasting a try.
Speaker:Number nine, regulates appetite hormones like ghrelin and leptin.
Speaker:Number 10 may lower your cancer risk by influencing hormone
Speaker:levels and reducing inflammation.
Speaker:Moving on to number 11, IF enhances metabolic flexibility, allowing the
Speaker:body to switch between fuel sources.
Speaker:Efficiently, number 12, if reduces the need for late night snacking, which
Speaker:is often a source of excess calories.

Speaker:fasting really does strengthen self-discipline and mental resilience.
Speaker:We can go, we really can go several hours without shoveling food into
Speaker:our mouths, and if F is a great way to teach ourselves that.

Speaker:including keto or paleo or vegan.
Speaker:It's very complimentary.

Speaker:Another one of my absolute favorite reasons to do if f.

Speaker:That also frees up a lot of space in your brain.

Speaker:the risk of metabolic syndrome.

Speaker:body breaks down and uses stored fat.

Speaker:Intermittent fasting can help reduce visceral fat by promoting the body's use
Speaker:of stored fat for energy and visceral fat is the deep fat that is stored around our
Speaker:internal organs in the abdominal cavity, which can increase the risk of health
Speaker:problems like heart disease and diabetes.

Speaker:Intermittent fasting encourages mindful eating.
Speaker:You definitely savor meals more after you've been fasting, and I know when I
Speaker:have my OMA or my one big meal for the day, I feel like I'm sitting down to
Speaker:a gourmet feast and I let myself enjoy every single bite without worrying
Speaker:one tiny second about calories.
Speaker:I just focus on whole foods that are nutritious.
Speaker:Foods that are fueling my body and that taste delicious.

Speaker:Intermittent fasting most definitely helps control cravings
Speaker:for sugar and processed foods.
Speaker:Number 24.
Speaker:If F has the potential to boost growth hormone production,
Speaker:which helps with fat loss and.
Speaker:Muscle gain number 25.
Speaker:Intermittent fasting is very flexible and it can be tailored
Speaker:to fit any lifestyle or schedule.

Speaker:Number 26, if F frees up so much extra time for hobbies and family
Speaker:or self care, which we all need to spend more time on these days.

Speaker:You can do IF at home, at work, and even when you're traveling or on vacation.

Speaker:IF has really taught me how to get in tune with my hunger cues and how to

Speaker:I still remember when I first felt that energy surge.
Speaker:It was about two weeks after starting my IF journey when my body started to become
Speaker:fat adapted and was switching over from being a sugar burner to a fat burner.
Speaker:I literally woke up one morning and I could physically feel the
Speaker:energy come alive inside me.
Speaker:It's hard to explain, but.
Speaker:It really was magical number 34.

Speaker:learned that many, many celebrities and famous people and public figures and
Speaker:experts endorse intermittent fasting.
