you know, dude, it's funny because you mentioned Christmas three weeks

away. I remember June 25th being here and I

go, six months from now it'll be Christmas.

And that seems like yesterday.

>> RB: Mhm.

>> Jonathan: I mean when you, when you throw in summer

vacation, summer golf, broken member

guests, all that shit that goes on. And

then next thing you know, it's like we've arrived and here we are

and it's great. And bowl season's kicking off,

um, which by the way, for you people out there tuning

into sports this past weekend, Thanksgiving Day,

obviously, I mean the debacle that

took place in Detroit with the, with the

Chicago Bears mismanaging the clock, obviously the man

lost his job over that. Um, but

the Bears still covered the spread in that game. And then

the night game with the packers playing the Dolphins.

Dolphins cannot win in cold weather, period.

And the NFL race is shaping up, dude. I

mean, you know the

nfc, you got the Lions

that are just ripping people apart. And

the Eagles are starting to get hot, bud. The Eagles starting to get hot.

AFC is wide open.

>> RB: I really like the Lions, I really

do. Problem is, whenever you get into,

um,

playoffs, you know, it gets a little

tight, gets a little tense. You know, people change a Little bit.

It's like playing golf with a lead. Right. Uh, you start doing

some things that you wouldn't normally do.

>> Jonathan: Yeah.

>> RB: And they bite you in the butt, and you end up losing. And there you go.

And then the person that's always there just kind of made it into the

playoffs. Chips away at it.

That is the Chiefs, um,

run away with it. Oh, yeah, because they've been there.

>> Jonathan: And that Black Friday game, I mean, another game they should

have lost, clearly. I mean, granted, the guy had to

kick a field goal to win, but the point being is they didn't get a chance to kick

the field goal because of the bad snap. And it's. That's

like three times this year where these Chiefs. And

do you feel like the refs.

>> RB: Are kind of holding out a little bit?

>> Jonathan: I don't know. But it's. It's. It's interesting. You know, it's

kind of interesting how it all shapes up.

>> RB: Well, um, the Steelers,

they came, they bounced back after the

Browns debacle. Um, they put

on a show against the Bengals, but it was a little

tighter than expected when you scored 44

points. Um, maybe the defense wants to show up every once in

a while.

>> Jonathan: Yeah, defense, you know, I don't like the

fact, but the point is, too, Cincinnati has a pretty good

offense, but, yeah, it's given up 38 still. Thank God we

had that defensive touchdown. But no, Russ was cooking,

baby.

>> RB: He was cooking. And so it's a big one on Sunday against

the Browns again.

>> Jonathan: Again.

>> RB: So, um, you know, the Browns have a short week.

This is where the Steelers have to take advantage of this and put them away,

boys.

>> Jonathan: And then Saturday, two days from now, you know, a lot of

the conference games in college, you know, you

know, Big 12, the ACC, the

SEC, Oregon to.

>> RB: Absolutely. Boat race.

>> Jonathan: Penn State, Big 10. Oh, yeah.

>> RB: I want that to be a debacle.

>> Jonathan: Well, you know, if you recall, earlier in the season, Penn State

snuck by usc, headed to the West Coast.

They were losing that game for a while, and then they came back and

won. And they're moving out back west now, or

I don't know where they're playing this, the championship game, but I gotta

imagine it's somewhere at a neutral site.

But regardless, they're playing that team on the west

Coast, Oregon Ducks. And I feel like Oregon. Oregon

is just there. People don't realize how good their defense actually is to,

you know.

>> RB: Yeah. And how about Oregon's Bo Nix? He's having a hell of a

year for rookie year. Um,

you know, is he Going to be Rookie of the Year for the NFL.

He's proven himself, and I know it started off

a little rough for him, and,

um, what's his

name?

>> Jonathan: Sean Payton.

>> RB: Sean Payton, Yeah. I mean, how could I forget?

>> Jonathan: I mean, how could you, um, forget that?

>> RB: But, you know, I think that Sean Payton

kind of corralled the troops a little bit, and he's

pretty good at doing that, so.

>> Jonathan: And then the Mountaineers fired Neil Brown, which,

obviously, Neil was a great guy, um, served

the Morgantown community here for the last six years.

But he gone, and I wish him the best, and

hopefully this new coach that we get, you

know, takes the reins a little bit and gets us back into contention. What I heard,

funny, I heard on the McAfee show, he. Bill

Belichick said something about. Hey, let me talk to you about

that. Let me talk to you about that.

>> RB: Well, another question for you, Another name that, um, I'm going to throw out there

is Nick, uh,

Saban. You know, I don't think that

he is going to be a coach, but, hey, who's to say that he doesn't get

involved in some solacity.

>> Jonathan: Yeah.

>> RB: Consulting, uh, with the team or something for West Virginia.

He said that he wants to get them back on the map, so.

I don't know. Jimbo, uh, Fisher. I know that's a name that's

being thrown around. Jimbo Fisher would have to give up his contract

of $70 million that he's being paid. He's not going to do that for

two years to help you out. Sorry, bud. Like, he's

enjoying feeding the cows. It's fine.

>> Jonathan: That's right. Yep. Angus. Black Angus.

So all kind of good things happening right now into this weekend,

guys, and.

>> RB: For, uh, you know, for us

personally, we are one month away from our.

>> Jonathan: First golf trip, 20,

>> RB: So, yeah, um, we come out slinging right

out of the gates the first week in January, so we're really excited

for that one. Um, and, yeah,

man, we got a cool guest today. Yeah, fun

guest.

>> Jonathan: Three times Stanley cup champ, Big rig.

some time out of his schedule playing for the Chicago Blackhawks

now, but has had a hell

of a career on the ice, and,

uh, obviously loves to chase

birdies, bogeys, pars, all the above.

walked off the ice. He's sitting down with me and Pep right now.

We're having a little one on one discussion with the man.

>> Speaker A: Yeah, thanks for having me, boys. Really looking forward to it.

>> RB: It's a long time coming, I'm telling you. I was in this group chat with you and

Flurry trying to hammer this down. You're a busy guy

and I understand that. I respect it.

>> Speaker A: Yeah, I nice. I'm like flir. Sometimes

my cell phone, I don't get back to people.

>> RB: He's terrible.

>> Speaker A: He's awful. Uh, he's one of the worst.

>> RB: The worst. But when he needs something, he picks it up real

quick.

>> Speaker A: As I've gotten older, I've gotten worse in that situation of

like, you. You read it and then you

forget the text. You know, you read a

text, you're like, all right, I gotta respond. And then you think about it and then you

just like, forget about it. And then.

Yeah. Um, usually I'm not bad with getting back to people, but

I've been. I don't know, maybe I'm getting older. Old age.

>> Jonathan: No.

>> RB: Chicago will do that to you too sometimes, right?

>> Speaker A: Yeah, that's true.

>> Jonathan: I think we're all guilty of that, though. I mean,

because especially if you're in multiple group chats

and then you get some. One off text from just some

randos and you got to get back to them, but then it's like,

you know, whatever.

>> Speaker A: No, for sure, but I don't think. No,

that was. That was on me. I. We

had this plan since last

year probably.

>> RB: That's all right.

>> Jonathan: It's all good, though.

>> Speaker A: We finally got it done.

>> RB: We got it done.

>> Jonathan: So what's going on, man, in Chicago,

the big chi town? I mean, that's got to be a fun

vibe.

>> Speaker A: Yeah, it is. It's been great. We. We love the city of

Chicago. I'm from St. Louis originally, so it's nice to be close

to home families in town. You know, family gets

to come up a lot. Her family gets to come up a lot.

Um, it's just been one of those, uh, you

know, it's a great city. Uh, we live in Lincoln park

there, so it's been.

>> RB: That's awesome.

>> Speaker A: Been excellent. Um, you know, we get to walk everywhere. I mean,

it's a little cold right now. So cold.

Um, but no, it's good. Obviously,

hockey part. I wish we were winning more, but, you know, hopefully

we can get on a roll here and get buzz in here. But,

um, everything's been great about the organization,

the city, you know, the players on the team. It's been great

vibe. It's just the winning aspect of it. We gotta get.

We gotta get our. Our in gear here and get

some. Get some wins here, so. But it's. The vibe's been

great. Um, I love everything about it. I love the

city and the organization. The setup's great.

>> RB: Two of the most underrated things about Chicago. Well, one,

not so underrated, but the food scene's incredible.

>> Speaker A: Yeah.

>> RB: In Chicago. It's amazing.

>> Speaker A: It's amazing golf.

>> RB: There is so much good golf in Chicago that I don't think people

realize.

>> Speaker A: Yeah, there's a lot of golf. You know what's crazy, but you have

to drive about an hour in

traffic, so the time, you

know, that's true. So,

um. But, yeah, there's a ton of good golf courses

here. Um, I got the

opportunity to play a couple courses here, so it's been.

It's been good. You know, we. We tend to try to, you

know, play right before season starts a lot. Right. Right

before camp opens up. Um, and

then now, you know, it just.

>> RB: It's over.

>> Speaker A: Yeah, Over.

>> RB: So that's why playing in Tampa was the

ideal situation for you. You know, obviously,

you're winning cups. Life was great. But also,

you know, how many organizations can you play for that you

go to the rink and then go play nine holes if you

want, in the afternoon or whatever?

>> Speaker A: No, for sure. I think that was great for us because you

had an opportunity to do both. Um, and there's a lot

of good golf courses in Tampa. You're kind

of. You're kind of right in the middle, too. So you can get to anywhere fast.

Right?

>> RB: Everything's 30 minutes in Tampa. I don't care what anybody says. It doesn't

matter how close or how far. It's 30 minutes.

>> Speaker A: Yeah, everything's about 30 minutes. So it's been

good. Like, you know, that when. When I played there, we

had an opportunity. I was a member

of two courses. Um, any

day off, I got an opportunity to go play.

Um, you know, it's just. It's a different vibe.

Uh, you know, you can get kind of reset, get away from the game

a little bit. Go play. Go hit the skinnies and

just kind of just chill.

>> RB: So are you still a Pelican?

>> Speaker A: Yeah.

>> RB: Okay.

So we just had a buddy Join. Like, a couple months

ago, um, Ryan almost got us

kicked out of there a couple, couple months ago,

um, for changing his shoes in the parking lot.

>> Jonathan: I mean, give me a break. Like, I just

put the shoes on in the parking lot, but I didn't see the sign there that

said, uh, right next to me, don't change shoes in the parking lot.

But then I asked the dude, I'm like, yo, can I, Am I

allowed to change shoes in a parking lot? I already did it though, by the way. I, uh,

was already done. And he's like, we prefer you do it in a locker room. And I was like,

well, I already did it, so whatever. And then they're busting my

balls. I'm like, listen, we.

>> RB: That place is awesome.

>> Speaker A: You guys like it?

>> RB: I love the place. The layout,

everything is good. I love the caddies were.

Everything was great. The food, everything.

>> Speaker A: Yeah, it's a great course. I love the

staff there. Uh, Mr. Doyle did a great

job of, you know, going in there and reamping

that course and bringing the right people.

And, um, you know, when he asked, it was

kind of a no brainer for me to go and join. And

his family takes good care of me. Um, you

know, the staff there is great. The caddies are awesome. And

that course is so well kept.

It's crazy.

>> RB: It's like Augusta national mini.

>> Speaker A: Like, you guys saw the hurricanes come

through, obviously, Florida,

this, this, uh, this

summer. Well, I guess,

yeah, September, whatever. But dude,

that course was flooded and they had it meant two

days later. Yeah, I was like, how is that even possible?

Like, they, uh, do a really good job. I

know that for a fact. Um, and

they, those greens are some of the best greens.

>> Jonathan: Oh, yeah.

>> Speaker A: I can roll on ever. And, um,

um, yeah, I mean, I love it. It's

just nice because it's obviously walking

only. Um, it's nice to kind of just

walk and kind of chill. Like sometimes when you get in a golf

cart, you're rushing everywhere, you're driving your partner

everywhere, or, yeah, he's driving you everywhere if you're not

having a good day. So it's just like, it's nice to walk and kind of

just chill, have a drink and,

um, you know, and you can't really lose a ball there.

No, that's kind of nice too.

>> RB: And the squirrels, they're huge.

>> Speaker A: Yeah, they're massive.

>> RB: I mean, the one almost attacked. Beat cats.

>> Jonathan: Beat cats. Our buddy was running in circles.

>> RB: Yeah.

>> Jonathan: Now he's the member. But

how about that one? Now he's the member. Dude, but the

sand, right? It's like the same sand as Augusta.

>> Speaker A: Yeah.

>> Jonathan: And when I was told that, I was like, well, shit, I'm gonna try to hit in a

bunker. Like, I'm just gonna try to fill with this hands, like, for.

>> RB: You know.

>> Speaker A: I mean, it's awesome. Like, it's a course you

can score on for sure, but it's also a course that can get you

in trouble. Um.

>> Jonathan: Oh, yeah.

>> RB: Well, you ask Flurry, though, he says it's easy. Like, everything's easy for

him, but he never breaks 80.

>> Jonathan: Yeah.

>> Speaker A: God, that guy.

>> Jonathan: Yeah.

>> RB: Own worst enemy on the golf course, Flurry.

>> Speaker A: I mean, he, uh. I watched him ring off back

to back. 68,

Um. Pretty impressive stuff. I mean, he can.

He can just hit the ball so far.

>> RB: Oh, it's insane.

>> Speaker A: Yeah, this iron game's great.

>> RB: Uh, we were in, uh, We. We went to Ireland with him

and. Are you telling the three wood story?

>> Jonathan: Well, no, you can tell him the three wood story, but I would just thought about

that. Go ahead.

>> RB: The other story, we were in Ireland with him and Vince, uh,

Trocheck, and we played, uh,

Royal county down this one par five

12 straight into the win or

no, straight downwind. And I thought I hit a pretty good one, and

he hit this low three wood. It was like 50 yards

by me. Ah,

he absolutely smoked this thing.

And so with his little shitty grin that he had.

>> Speaker A: Oh, yeah.

>> RB: So giddy about everything.

>> Jonathan: Flurries was.

>> Speaker A: Then he puts a chew in.

>> Jonathan: Yeah.

>> RB: And he drinks three beers and pukes.

>> Jonathan: But, um, Fleurs was getting hit on, though, in the

lobby bar.

We were. We were popping some Guinness, and he was getting

hit on by this dude.

>> Speaker A: No way.

>> Jonathan: And it was so uncomfortable. I actually will send

you the picture. It's so, uh, you guys, the picture of him just

sitting there feeling totally, like,

attacked by this cat. And basically, the guy

wanted to know if he was a boxer. He wanted to know if he

boxed flurries like the. Are

you talking about? And then he started asking more

questions, and we're like, all right, we gotta get out.

>> Speaker A: We gotta get out of here.

>> RB: Um, well, you play with, um. Our buddy just

played with Connor Cruz. He said he was a great

dude.

>> Speaker A: Talking awesome. He's the best. He's one of

the best. I get an opportunity to play with him quite a bit out

there. Um, went to some

concerts with them. He's the man. Dude. That guy's

awesome. We played in our. Because me and

Fls were just a funny story.

Main FL were playing in the one, uh, day member

Guest. It was right after the season. I invited him, and Connor

was in our crew, in our group,

and another guy. And

so I'm like, hey, do you know who we're playing with? He's like, yeah. I was like,

that's Tom Cruise's kid. Yada, yada, yada. The

drinks, the drinks start flowing and

not even hole three into it, he's

like, hey, so your dad's Tom Cruise?

I'm like, flirts. Come on, man. That guy probably doesn't want

to talk. He just wants to come out here and he just wants to be normal.

Like play golf. No, but he opened

up to us pretty well. It was a good day. Like, that's, that's

when we hit it off. Because he knew we liked to drink

a little bit. He was drinking a little bit. We were having fun.

None of us had a good day that day. But, you know, we had fun on the

course, uh, with each other and just

crushing. So we, uh. That was just so

funny to me. He just right into it. He had no care in the

world. He just went right into it.

>> Jonathan: Yeah.

>> RB: So I understand. I understand you've played Muirfield Village

and something, uh, with the caddy there.

>> Speaker A: Yeah, it was pretty bad.

>> Jonathan: You almost snap him.

>> Speaker A: Well, listen, the course was great.

It was in great condition. Uh, they just kind of treat us

like, Listen, I know we have a bunch of hockey

guys coming in. Um, my thing

is, don't tell guys you can come on and then treat, treat them

like right.

>> RB: That's.

>> Speaker A: That's fair, that's fair, that's fair. So, like, if you

really don't want us out there and you feel like the numbers don't want us out there, then

don't, don't have us come. Uh, we were lucky

enough. Um,

Rossovic, that plays in Carolina now, and, uh, Jared

Bull, oh, Bowlsy

Bullseye, uh, Play is a member there.

So Corey Perry knew him, so he, they,

Those guys helped us out a little bit. And

Fuller and Roswell said we can use their clubs.

So, um, we get there

and we're teed off at

4:00.

Um, we grab lunch. We get there pretty early. Then we

start hitting balls with their rental clubs. They only give us one

rental clubs for, um,

I think three, four sums.

>> Jonathan: What?

>> Speaker A: Um, so one, One bag of cart.

A group. Um,

we were kind of asking, hey, can we get more? Is there any

way they're. Yeah, yeah, whatever. So

after we kind of hit, we go down to

where we pick up the golf carts and

we go to the guy who's like, hey, Roswick

and Bowler so we can use their clubs. Like,

no, no, they didn't. They just shut it down. I'm

like, all right, whatever. And par's like, no,

they did. So we're like. And I went over there. I was like, hey. They did like.

Like, you're not using them. And par. Like, here's the text

here. Here it is right here. Get my

clubs. And they're like, no.

So whatever.

It's like 3:15. And we're kind of just sitting there.

We're teeing off at 4 and nothing.

There's no one in front of us. There's not one

person has teed off in, like, 15 minutes. Now 15

minutes goes by, we're like, hey, we. I go into the.

In the clubhouse, and I was like, hey, can we tee off like, your tea times

at 4? I was like, there's no one coming.

Like, there's. We haven't seen one person in

literally 25 minutes. Like,

you're telling me your tea times are probably spread out by Every, what,

12 minutes?

>> RB: Yeah.

>> Speaker A: My guess is. So I was like, we haven't seen anyone. Like,

no, no, there's another guy coming right now. He's supposed to

tee off. Nothing. The

caddy's like, the one cad. He goes, he's not even here.

He's not even showing up today. So we go to the clubhouse. He's like, the

caddy's like, you're not. They're not coming today.

Like, he still might come. I'm like, just let

us go. Like, we're not bad golfers. All these guys can hit.

Like, yeah, if. If they want to play in front of us when they get out

there, by all means, go.

>> RB: You could have had four holes done by now.

>> Speaker A: Well, we could have had. We. There was no one in front of us the

entire. Yeah, like, we could have had,

I mean, at least four.

>> RB: Yeah.

>> Speaker A: Um, and then we have our caddy, we get our beers,

and then our caddies second

hole grabs, just goes

right behind her, cart grabs a beer, opens, and starts

drinking. I'm like, what the fuck is going on?

Like, this can't be real life. Like,

I was like, there's no way this is real life right now. Like,

I'm looking at everyone. I'm like, are you guys seeing this?

And then, like, he kept doing it. I'm like, what is

going on? Like, I get

it. Like, he's like, I love Bowler. Like, he's my guy. And I'm

like, all right, whatever. Maybe they do it together. But like,

yeah, but we're not even.

>> RB: Allowed to use his clubs now. You're drinking our beers.

>> Speaker A: Yeah, no, no. Yeah, that too. And then

randomly. Was it the second hole or the

third hole? I might. I think it might have been the second hole,

too. He grabs my. He grabs someone's driver

rental club and just tees off, hits a ball,

and I'm like, what is going on?

Like, this is like, uh, this. Like,

I've never seen this done before.

>> Jonathan: That's so weird. That, like.

>> Speaker A: And he was like, so, like, listen, he was a

great guy. He was like. But he was, like, cocky. He's like, oh,

you trying to fit in with you guys, you gotta do that. You got, like,

telling us what to do. And, like. And everyone's like,

like, all right. Like, shut up. Like, we just want to come, um, golf. Give.

If you want to give us a read, give us a read. Whatever.

Like, no one really cares. Like, guys

were asking for a read. And then we're on

that downhill par

three over the water. Um,

12. 12. Is that 12?

>> RB: Um, yeah, there's 12 yet. 12 and 16 are the ones

with water.

>> Speaker A: The one that's downhill. And he's like, uh,

oh, you guys stink. He's just kept chirping us. And

I'm like, all right, good. I want to see you hit the ball again.

Now I'm pissed. Now I'm like, screw you, dude.

Like, get up and hit it. He shanks one so

far, right? Doesn't barely make it. 60

yards, goes in the water. He's like, give me another

ball. Same thing. I'm like, stop chirping

us. Like, you're just as bad. Like, yeah,

we're just. Literally, it's our day off. We're just trying to hang

out and play some golf.

>> RB: And so far, it's been miserable.

>> Speaker A: It was the worst experience. The food was

great.

>> RB: Milkshake.

>> Speaker A: Milkshake. Yeah. Uh, they were great. The food was great. But, like,

the service and they kind of, like, you could tell, like, they didn't

want us there. They put us at the last tea time possible.

And, um, you can just tell, like, the

caddies probably didn't want to go because they had. Probably had to do another,

right? So, like, it was just kind of

shitty in that part. But I'm

sure that's a one off for us. That's probably, like, a one off.

That's one thing.

>> RB: I think that, too. You. You go. You can flip the script

on that one, right? I'm sure you've been over to Grove 23

being in Tampa, that's

the opposite. There, they make you feel like you're a member,

and whatever you need, they do. What. I mean, it's

just. It's such a cool vibe. And, you know, you

got. You can wear gym shorts and a T shirt there,

and you want to tee off whenever, go.

Uh, it's just. I think that's the way golf's going is just

like, let us do what we want.

>> Speaker A: No, I agree.

>> RB: Within reason.

>> Jonathan: But I mean, to their point, like, it's not like they

were teeing off on a Saturday at 11 in the

morning. I mean, we're talking. They had a 4 o'clock tee time and no one was

around. Like, come on, you got to give some

leniency.

>> RB: But like he said, if you don't want us there, then that's fine.

>> Jonathan: Just tell us that or just say.

>> RB: Don'T waste our time.

>> Jonathan: Yeah, they love Whiz. They love Wiz Newski.

>> Speaker A: Yeah, they do, huh? Uh.

>> Jonathan: Oh, yeah.

>> Speaker A: But we. And Flourish and Headman played double Eagle

the next day, um, after

practice. That was.

>> RB: That's a good one. I heard that's a really.

>> Speaker A: Caddy. Uh,

he was everything. He was a caddy. Like, maintenance guy.

Like, he's been there for years. He was like. I think

he was 80 years old. And, like,

this guy was awesome. Like, we.

He was the best. Like, we. The first

hole or second hole, we're

on the greens and, like,

without even hesitation, he's like, it's

uphill

110% left to right. Was.

Didn't even look, and it was like, bang on.

Like, he knew. Like, it was, like, instant.

And I was just like, this is unreal. Like, Flourish is like,

dude, he's even looked. And I was like, well, that's

a guy that's probably been there for 40 plus

years. Like, I don't think he needs to. He could

probably walk and feel where it's. Where he is, where it's

at. And, like. And like, he was doing that all day, and

his reads were just unreal. So I was just like, this is

unbelievable.

>> RB: Like, yeah, Completely different experience for you.

>> Speaker A: Completely different. People are so friendly. So

nice. Take your time. Play as many holes you want.

We are the only people out there.

>> RB: Pine Valley, which you got on your hat right now, that. That experience

is out of this world now. Ryan's never. Ryan's been there, but he's been

rained out twice.

Um, I've gotten to experience it, and

that is awesome.

>> Speaker A: Yeah, that's a great spot. Um, we.

Yeah, my. A friend of mine,

my trainer at my gym in St. Louis.

Um. Uh, these people

I met, they're an older couple. And,

um, the gentleman John that took

us, um, he's a member there, and

he always asks. He's like, you should. You should. I

play golf with him in the summer. And he's like, if you had the

time, like, come to Pine Valley. And I kind of just

brush it off. Like, you don't really want to call people and be, okay, take me

to Pine Valley.

Um, so Stammer had his

500,000 game, and I just shot

him a text. He's like, hey, is there any way you can help me out?

Um, it's obviously a long shot for you,

but if you can

donate around a golf with

Steven Stamko. She's like, without hesitation.

He's like, absolutely. And it was just like,

all right. And then he comes back with, I got another guy, so

now we can bring up to six guest. So I was

like, oh, damn.

>> RB: So now the planes. And now. Now that you're taking

a plane.

>> Speaker A: Now we're. Yeah, now the planes, and now the wheels are

moving. Now everyone's heads are moving. And I looked at

Stammer. I was like, listen, like, you don't have to

take me, because I'm doing this.

Like, pick your guys that, like, have been

with you for, you know, the majority

of the time. And,

uh. And then I got a text. He's like, you're

coming, right? And I was like, I don't know yet.

Um, because I. John, text me that. Because I

was like, I don't know yet, because Stammer's kind of picking the thing. He's

like, well, I'd love for you to come. So I was like, all right.

So I'm, like, banking on Stammer to invite me, and

obviously, he ended up inviting me because. But

it was a good time. Like, that experience was great.

Um, we had some good stories, man.

We. We were pretty. The first day was awesome.

Played and then got, uh, a little drunk,

smoking, had dinner. Then we set out back,

smoked some cigars. And Brad Faxon was there.

>> RB: Yes. And, um, he's got

some stories.

>> Speaker A: We. Yeah, we, uh. John

wasn't too happy the next morning because he left,

but m. Once he

found out we were with Brad, he was like, all right, maybe that's fine.

But it was, like, pitch black. And we go to

18, and we bring that. He makes all the

workers bring the golf carts and to shine them on

18. And we're all doing a putt off for, like, 100 bucks, me

and him. I would. I have a sweet video of me.

>> RB: And him at Pine Valley. Yeah, that's

pretty sick. I don't think.

>> Speaker A: Too many people lessons, and,

uh, obviously, we weren't being obnoxious. We were just having

fun, playing. Playing a little putt off, and then he

was giving us all lessons, and then, uh, me and him

had a. A putt off, and,

um, I made it. Then he came back and made it. But

it was great. Uh, we had a good time. I mean, the

course is great. Hard walk, though, walking through

sand like that.

>> RB: Dude, it's so hard.

>> Speaker A: It's tough.

>> RB: And, I mean, I'm not trained at

all, so, um, that's really a hard walk

there.

>> Jonathan: I just remember. The only thing I remember vividly is the pro shop.

Being small, it's tight,

relatively speaking, to what you would think,

right?

>> RB: It's very small.

>> Jonathan: But I can't comment on the course.

>> RB: Yeah, it is. It's awesome.

Like, the showers, the locker room. It's so cool there.

Uh, yeah.

>> Speaker A: Yeah. I just. It's just. I feel like they haven't changed things

since it's been built, so maybe one.

>> RB: Day we'll get you out there, Bash.

>> Jonathan: Hey, you know what? Uh, third time's a charm. Fourth time's a

charm, whatever it is. You know? But you just set it up.

I'll be right there. Just holler.

>> Speaker A: Yeah. I mean, I've. So all that in one year. I

played Augusta and Pine Valley.

>> Jonathan: You got Augusta?

>> Speaker A: Yeah.

>> Jonathan: What was that like? Did m. You take

photos, like, every hole?

>> Speaker A: Ah, so. You're not supposed to. It's like, Pine Valley.

You can't have your phone.

>> Jonathan: But.

>> Speaker A: So once you do.

>> Jonathan: Sometimes the.

>> Speaker A: When we, uh, we were lucky enough. That's actually a pretty

funny story, Mr.

Um. Doyle, the owner of Pelican,

which is a big sponsor for the Lightning,

he's a member there. And we were playing

one day with, um. It was me, Alex,

Corn, his son Danny, and

him, and

I was drinking a couple High Noons, and I was like,

at once. I was like, Mr. Doyle, uh, how's

Augusta? He's like, oh, it's beautiful. Like, it's great.

And kind of just like, randomly just go,

when are you gonna take me? He goes, whatever you

want. And then we're on our way home, and

Killer's like, man, do you think he'll really take us? I'm like,

I have no idea. But I just. He's like,

why'd you just ask him that? I was like, uh, who cares? What's he gonna say

no, right?

>> RB: You're in the same position.

>> Speaker A: We're in the same position. Like, what? He's. If

he's obviously playing golf with us, he likes us. Like,

we're athletes. Like, he doesn't have to talk business. Like,

we're just kind of hanging out. Like, he's like, man, that would

be cool. So we're in Philly,

and we were kind of all texting, a group chat before, but

we didn't think it was going to fall off because he's like, give us some.

He goes, give us some dates.

And we gave him the dates of our

long All Star break. And I was like, oh, uh, whatever.

Maybe it's not going to work. It is. Whatever. And,

uh. But we were so, like, grateful at that time anyways,

of this. Him acknowledging it. Yeah, we didn't think he

would acknowledge it. Um,

but that's the kind of person he is. He's just so nice, and the family's

just so nice. And I get a

call in Philly,

and, um, I go,

hey, Mr. Doyzak. Everything's, uh,

booked for Augusta. I was like, really?

Yeah. I was like, so we're. He's like, we'll

leave Sunday morning. We'll go play

18, wake up Monday. Play 18, play par three,

fly home. I was like, all right. I was like, how do I fly there? Like,

how. What. What.

>> RB: Like, what airline?

>> Speaker A: What airline? Like, where do I fly into? He's like, I guess you don't

like flying private. I said, yep. All right. Got

it.

>> RB: Got it.

>> Speaker A: And then, like, he sent us, like, a

itinerary sheet of, like, what

you can and can't do, what to wear and all this stuff, and

it was just. It was beautiful. Like,

very, um, grateful of him and what he's done for me,

you know, and the opportunity for him

to take me. It was like, you know, that's like one in the

Stanley cup to me. Like that.

>> RB: Yeah, that's definitely

both, uh, in one year.

>> Speaker A: Yeah.

>> Jonathan: But what's one thing about

Augusta that you thought differently going into

it? That after playing it, you know, is it a hole?

Is it, like. What's one thing that you realized when you were there

playing it that might be different than what spectators see on TV?

>> Speaker A: 16. It's not a

downhill shot, really?

>> Jonathan: Level.

>> Speaker A: Level.

>> RB: Wow.

>> Speaker A: A lot of wind.

I mean, we played in February,

and it was perfect.

>> RB: Probably there, too.

>> Speaker A: And the first day was. It rained on us

heavily until about we got to 10,

it kind of stopped. Uh, it was

windy, but it just

seems like if there's like a divot or

like an acorn. The green in the fairway,

you see, it's like someone like comes out of the woods and grabs it

fixes like, perfect. And

like, um, it

was great. Like, we were the only.

There's another group out there from New Zealand. The prime

minister and his three

buddies. They came over. I think they were trying to play like

300 plus holes before they went home.

And they were going out there. I think they were

going out there to play, finish the rest,

and then they were leaving. So it was just us out there. It was

awesome. Like, no worries. Like,

just had fun. But go back to your

pictures. We couldn't leave. Our phone had to be in

the. In the room.

>> RB: And that's interesting.

>> Jonathan: That is kind of cool, though.

>> Speaker A: That is cool. So he's the one that took pictures.

>> RB: That's awesome.

>> Speaker A: He took a ton of videos, a ton of pictures. It

was awesome.

>> RB: Like, because they're probably like, listen, these members are, uh, the guests are going to

hold up, play. If there is a lot of play.

>> Jonathan: Yeah, they're going to be taking pictures.

>> RB: Keep it rolling. The members going to be here again.

Let him do it.

>> Speaker A: And the grandstands were going up when we were there because it was

February, so it was pretty

cool.

>> Jonathan: I got to imagine, uh, teeing off on the first tee. Like, the

bubble guts start going a little bit. Like you're sitting there and you're

feeling something. You know, it's like

not quite game seven feeling maybe, but something

similar to that where you're just like your teen off. First

hole.

>> Speaker A: No, it was bubble guts for sure. I was like, don't this up.

Uh, like, don't shank this. Because the club

pro was out there, his son or a

college kid that was playing with him that day or

something, or he just finished, but it was

raining and everyone's just kind of sitting around.

You're like, the nerves hit.

Thank God I put one right down the middle. Because

we go up to the first tee and like, only one

shot, and I'm like, oh,

man. We don't get. We don't get two shots if I

mess this up.

>> RB: No breakfast bowl, huh?

>> Speaker A: No, uh, but it was great. Like, we.

We loved it. Like, I mean, it was just beautiful

out there. Like, everything about it, the.

The people, like, we like

legit. We were. There's probably.

There's another gentleman, old gentleman that was just having dinner. He doesn't

play golf anymore. He had like his whole family there just at

dinner. We saw them and then the prime minister, then us, and,

like, we were the only ones. Kind of walk around

the dining room and, like, you go to

the bar area, there's like a worker that pops out of nowhere. I'm

like, you guys have like a ton of workers for maybe

15 people here. So, like, it was just nuts to me.

Like, we're going everywhere, but he got that. We got

the opportunity to go have a drink up in the Crow's Nest. That was

sweet.

>> Jonathan: Damn.

>> RB: I hear their wine selection there is like,

all world.

>> Speaker A: Yeah, it is all world. They took us down there. It was

sweet, like, everything. Like,

the bottles to, you

know, the whiskey to, you

know, they got literally everything.

>> RB: Well, we're, we're, um, we're going down the pelican

January 3rd to the 5th for a little trip. And,

uh, there's, I think, six of us going.

And, um, four of the guys never ate a burns before.

So we're were indulging in that Friday night, which.

I love that place. Yeah, their wine

selections. Out of this world.

>> Speaker A: It is out of this world. Where you get you guys staying in the Villas at

Pelican.

>> RB: Um, BCATS Villas.

The BCATS condo over in Clearwater.

But I might talk it into, uh, letting us get

us a place over there.

>> Jonathan: Well, the issue is we're all, like, close

to 40 years old, you know, and we

have routines. Like, me, I gotta have my routine in the

morning. You know, I have my coffee, run

to the bathroom, whatever I do, whatever.

You know, take a shower, scrub it up a little bit, and get

moving. But, uh, some people might not be like that, and so

we're a little concerned about that. So BCATS is definitely listening

right now, and he's definitely gonna say something to Pep and I about

this, and it's a conversation that we'll have next week. Bk

but, um, going back to the Augusta

thing real quick, we always have that discussion, like, hey,

what would you pay?

>> RB: Yeah.

>> Jonathan: If you got a call today that said, hey, you can go

play Augusta, and you know, you've

already played it, so it me, I'm saying

25k. I'm in right now.

>> Speaker A: Pep.

>> RB: Yeah. Yeah. I like that number.

>> Jonathan: I mean, it's. It's a. Listen to the stories that he just said.

It's. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity for

gophers.

>> RB: I got the opportunity to play Sage Valley, which, if you

haven't done. Have you done Sage Valley?

>> Speaker A: No.

>> RB: We can make that happen in end

of April, early May. We can plan something. You bring

some Guys down. We'll make it happen. But,

um, got to do it. And the caddies

there do Augusta and

Sage, and, um, it was awesome. Just hearing some of

the stories that I'm telling about Augusta and how similar

Sage is to Augusta. Um.

But, man, what a vibe down there. It's incredible.

And that's the best thing about it. It's just golf, dude. It's all

golf. And you're drinking good drinks and

good food, and it's like, the ultimate experience for a

golfer. Either one. I'm assuming Augusta is the same

way.

>> Speaker A: Yeah, I mean, it was just. The experience was great. Everyone's just so

friendly, so nice. I think, too, like, you

just. You go to a place like that, and everyone's kind of.

And all. A little bit. You're just kind of staring. So I just, you know,

I just caught myself, uh, staring in the space

someday. Like, I was just like. I'm really doing

that even in the dining room. I'm just, like, looking around. Like,

you know, people are talking. I'm probably not listening, because I'm just,

like, looking so, like,

you get a place like that, and it's

just, you know, it's remarkable

because, you know, it's like I said, it's like a Stanley cup for me, going

to a place like that and fortunate to be able

to do it.

>> RB: Well, fortunately, you have three of those.

>> Speaker A: Yeah, I know.

>> RB: Which, I mean, talk about that. I mean,

you played for your hometown team, St. Louis Blues, win a Stanley

cup, which they were struggling there for a little bit. Uh, they

win a Cup, and then you get.

Did you get traded or did you sign and.

>> Speaker A: I signed as a free agent.

>> RB: And then you win two Cups, and then you almost had a chance at the fourth in a

row. That's insane.

>> Speaker A: It was insane. Yeah.

>> RB: Uh, tiring, too, huh?

>> Speaker A: Uh, yeah, it was great. Um, obviously,

St. Louis was fun. I got to go back home, play,

kind, um, of be a part of my son, you know, because,

you know, I've gone during the year. He lives in St. Louis, and

he's playing hockey on a school, so it was an opportunity for

me to go home and be a part with him.

And didn't start off great.

Um, you know, dead last in

January, and then somehow get

out of the funk and win

11 straight games. And we're kind of buzzing. We're flowing. And

then, you know, it just kind of took the turns, you

know, and, uh, we just. We felt

it. We. We felt great. Going to the playoffs, we were the hottest

team. Going to the playoffs, we Feel like we can beat anyone. Um,

we got the third seed playing Winnipeg.

Um, you know, beat those

guys, and we go into Dallas, you

know, win game seven. Um, we were

down three, two, going to their place for game

six. Um, you know, win a

barn burner in game seven. Two. One hockey game. But

we just had that swagger, that confidence that we knew,

like, if we make a mistake, the next man's

going to pick you up.

>> RB: That's all. Yeah, that's.

>> Speaker A: And it's just like, you knew if, like, a defenseman made a

mistake, Bennington was going to pick you up. And

we just had that vibe, that swagger that, you

know, we didn't have in the beginning of the year. We weren't, you know,

we didn't have any All Stars. I mean, Ryan O'Reilly had a

great year. Shannon Teresenko, I

mean, we had some good players, but we didn't have, like, the

elites. The best of the best, right, that you would call, like,

a cooch or McKinnon or McDavid or dry

seidel or, you know, Patrick Kane taste.

Guys that can, like, take over games. Like, we had guys that just play the

simple way, played the right way. Um,

you know, they cared for the team. And we just

got. We just got rolling. We are big and heavy. We're

strong in your face type of team.

Um, and we just steamrolled kind of, you know,

we. Conference finals.

The Blues have been there a lot of times, so it was

like, is this the Blues year? Are they going to get over the

hump? Like, are they going to just lose another conference finals in the

San Jose Sharks or, you know,

and, you know, that hand pass goal.

Now San Jose is up 2:1 in the series.

And I still remember Berubi came in and goes,

boys, don't even comment in the media. It. Who

cares? I mean, everyone makes mistakes. They made a mistake.

We know it. Nothing we can do. Tomorrow's a new day. Wake

up and we'll get them. Game four. And we

won three straight. And it was just,

uh. Now we're off to the finals and we're playing an elite

team, Boston. Good team. And,

uh, it was a back and forth, you know,

win one, win one, win one, win one, win one, win one. And

then we finally took that one. We were on the ropes

in game seven, by all means, the first 12 minutes.

But, um, it was.

Bennington was great.

>> RB: What a. What a.

You know, you growing up as a hockey player and

it's. Bash and I were obviously

golf fans and all that, but and

we'll never have a major championship. But what's that

relief for you whenever you get the hoist that

trophy and finally, just like, is it just. You

just excel and just enjoy it?

>> Speaker A: Huh?

>> RB: Huh?

>> Speaker A: Yeah, you do. I think the coolest part is,

like, watching the older guys that

never won before, just like Jay

Bomeester and Alex Steen, like, guys that played,

you know, 20 years in the league that's grinded that this

is, you know, this is what they wanted.

Um, and to watch them lift that

cup over their head was just like, Jesus Christ. Like,

this is why you play the game right here, to watch these

guys. And, you know, I. I wish everyone can have

that feeling in the NHL, and unfortunately, not everyone has that

feeling, but I think it's one of the best feelings

in the world when you get an opportunity, someone passes that cup to

you, and you just lift it up and you skate around, you're

like. You just kind of. Like you said, you kind of take a

deep breath, you take it all in. You're like, this is why

we play the game right here.

>> Jonathan: Yeah.

>> RB: Uh, Brett hall celebrated like he was on the team, too. So.

Yeah, but

then you. I mean, again, you go, what a run. Then you go to

Tampa. You win two in a row. There had an opportunity for

three in a row with Tampa, and it's just,

um. Again, you look back on your career, and it's just.

You won three Stanley Cups in a row. Like, what in the hell?

>> Jonathan: Yeah.

>> Speaker A: Yeah, it was crazy. Like, you know, when we won the

one in the bubble, I was like, two in a

row didn't really sink in, but I was,

like, happy. I was like, this is

awesome. Like, these guys, for me, it was

like, again, it goes back to

watching these guys, like, in 2019,

a team that had the most wins

before Boston, or they tied for the most

wins before Boston just broke it. But they get swept by

a Columbus team, they're deflated. Are

they blowing up the team? What are they going to do? Media is

all over them. And then, you know, we

go into the year, we get, you know,

myself. And then we traded for Barkley,

Goodreau, Coleman, all these guys that

just. Yeah, they needed to kind of

get over the hump and to watch them

win it, like, had been in stammer that been

there for so long. Yeah, it was like, a sign of relief for

these guys because they've been so close. You know, they

Stanley cup appearance, you know, they've been to multiple conference

finals. They were there. And again, it

goes back to like, why we play the game, to see guys like

that, that been with one organization to get an opportunity

to do that. And, um, I think

it was cool because we. We won that year.

And we go back and it's. Coop

had a cool little saying

when we started training camp. This is our last day of school

together. So he brought that model into us.

He's like, this is our last day of school. Like, no one's gonna be

a lot of guys. A lot of you guys aren't gonna be here next year. Free

agents, like, guys are gonna sign. He's like, this is

our last day of school. And I thought that was cool. He's like, we

have another opportunity to do what Pittsburgh did. People

are going to take us out of this. You guys won because it

was in the bubble.

Bubble. He's like, this is our time, whatever.

Obviously, the short season, but still we. We came.

We won in end of October,

and we. No, we won in September,

and we were already playing Camp

Christmas. So, like, it was a quick

turnaround. Was, uh.

>> RB: What was the first, uh, thing you did with the

cup when you first won it? What was. When you got that? Your

cup with the day? What'd you do?

>> Speaker A: Oh, man. What didn't I do? Uh,

I mean, I did everything.

>> RB: Drank a million beers out of it.

>> Speaker A: Drink a million beers. By the end of it, though, like, it's

with anything, um,

you kind of want to just get rid of it because, like, you're holding

it. People want to take pictures with you. It's like,

it can kind of get exhausting.

>> Jonathan: Yeah.

>> Speaker A: Um. You know, I think the best part for

me is just being there with family and friends in the beginning

and.

>> RB: Yeah.

>> Speaker A: Getting to enjoy that and, like, drinking out of it and having, um, fun with

that part. Because once you get. Once it gets into a

big party, then it's just, like, it's over.

It's over because then it's like, cousins,

friends, more cousins, aunts, uncles.

>> RB: You know, people you didn't know that know you.

>> Speaker A: Yeah. And, uh, I think.

But I. I love the second time around. I kind of did

it right the first time. You don't really know. You know,

I took it to my uncle's roller hockey rink. I took it to her

family's restaurant, took it out to my

buddy's farm. Um, it was awesome. It was a great

time, but you learn and you learn.

And, uh, the second time was better. You just

went to the hotel. We rented this place in the hotels.

We did, like, a morning brunch, hung

out, uh, family Came close, friends

came. And then we took, kind of took the bus around to my

hometown. Took it to every bar. It

was great. Like, I got to see, you know, kids I went to

high school with.

>> Jonathan: Yeah. You know, like, look at me now.

>> Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, it was fun. Um, you know, I

took it to my grandparents graves so

like, you get, you. You kind of learn your second time

around. And then I just drew like a. I had like a wedding venue at

us through like a huge party.

>> RB: Yeah, that's awesome.

>> Speaker A: It was perfect. We had a live band, you know, dance

floor, dj. So. And that's more.

It's. It's better that way because then you can put the cup

down and guys can, you know, go

over and touch it. And it was great though because the

blues guys were in town because I did in early

September, so everyone was back in town.

Um, Wayne Gretzky showed up, so that was cool.

Um, a couple of Tampa guys were there. McDonough

Bogosian John Cooper showed up.

But yeah, Kelly Chase, I mean,

Chaser.

>> RB: Had a time, huh, huh? Yeah, he was at everyone's Stanley cup

party probably.

>> Speaker A: It was funny because the cup has a curfew,

right? And

Phil was like, hey, Pat, you know, it's 12,

like it's got to go. I was like, hey, like

Wayne's showing up. He's like, really? I was like,

yeah. It's like, do you mind? He's like, absolutely. This thing can

stay as long as it wants. I was like,

perfect. But

at that time at 12, everyone was kind of dying down

a little bit.

>> RB: So like people were getting out.

>> Speaker A: People were getting out and uh, Wayne

shows up. It was fun. Like, that's awesome. Stay till about

2:30.

>> RB: So freaking drink a couple with Wayno.

>> Speaker A: And yeah, it was awesome. So like, I was lucky

enough. Even the night before, Phil texted me. He's like, hey,

I'm in town early. I know you're staying at the

Ritz. Um, doesn't have

the cup. He's like, yeah, let's just bring it down to

the lobby and have a couple drinks. Is it perfect? So I

got to see it that night before too and kind of just, just me,

my, myself and my wife just kind of hanging out.

>> Jonathan: Myself so sick.

>> Speaker A: So that was um, it was cool.

I mean, like I said though, like when you win,

I think the best part is being with your teammates at that

time. You know, drinking out of it, having fun, you

know, partying with it in the cities, running around the

cities, taking everywhere because you want to see like the

fans faces when they see nothing. Like,

so it's. It was cool.

>> Jonathan: The third time winning it, uh, you probably were like, hey, bud, you know what?

I did this. I did it two years in a row. Why don't you

guys touch it a little bit? I did it before.

That's really impressive. The fact that it could have been four is

just.

>> RB: Yeah. I don't think there's too many people. Three Stanley

Cups, Pine Valley and Augusta National.

>> Jonathan: I mean, Patty is just on a roll.

>> RB: He's living boys.

>> Speaker A: Yeah. I was living my best life there.

>> Jonathan: You get into the mix a little bit with some roller hockey.

>> Speaker A: Yeah.

>> Jonathan: Is it like, beer league, or are you, like, legit, like, crushing

people?

>> Speaker A: Um, I used.

Like, before I. We moved

to Tampa. Like, my uncle runs a roller hockey

rink. All Americans. My best

friend's dad owns the building, and I grew up with

them. Um, and I lived at that rink, and

I would go play men's league if I was living in St. Louis. Yeah,

that's more like beer league. Like, you're with your

buddies.

>> Jonathan: Yeah.

>> Speaker A: Or you're with your old teammates that played before

Triple A. Guys that have their own team. Uh, but I

do play nationals. Like, it's called the

pro division. Uh, they put, like, 20

grand up for it. And, uh, it's

like, these guys that play roller hockey, for them, it's just

like, you know, it's like they're Stanley cup, like.

>> Jonathan: Yeah.

>> Speaker A: Pride. Enjoy. Guys have jobs, you know.

>> Jonathan: Yeah, that's what I like.

>> Speaker A: They, you know, but this is. This is how they keep their

competitiveness. Like, guys that used to play or, you

know, only played roller hockey or played ice before,

but, you know, been bounced around, but retired, but they want

to still compete and get that competitive edge.

So, um, the pro division is excellent. It's a

lot of guys that just play roller hockey that only know. And

it's. It's fast, it's skilled. These. These guys

are so good. Um, but I grew up

playing it. That's all I knew when I was young. I just loved

it. And I, uh, still love it. I think it's a

great sport. I think it's good for. For your

hands, your. Your vision, everything about it,

patience about the game. I

enjoy. That kind of translates over to ice hockey.

So, um, I really like the sport

a lot. I think, uh, you know, obviously,

sometimes it can get a bad rep from other people, but

I think it's so good for people.

>> Jonathan: Yeah. Yeah. And I mean, it

transcribed, like, everything you

do on the ice has some, in some

way is parallels to your Golf swing

shit.

>> Speaker A: I agree. Your slap shot.

>> Jonathan: Just look at Hayden. Look how he slaps

it.

>> Speaker A: Yeah, I know.

>> RB: Putt work shit, though.

>> Jonathan: Uh, yeah, I wish.

>> Speaker A: I need to figure out my game. My game sucks. But, you

know, there's one thing I do do. I

compete. I don't give up, man. I'm always in

it somehow, so I love it.

>> Jonathan: Right.

>> Speaker A: That's a grinder out there, people. Hayden hates

it sometimes because he's like, I don't know how the hell you do it. Your swing

is terrible. You barely hit the ball

245 yards.

Um, but, yeah, it's just like, I

just grind. I just go out there and grind and, you know, I try

to make my pars or bogeys and kind of walk away from it,

like, make the odd birdie here and there.

>> RB: Yeah.

>> Speaker A: And, uh, you know, give myself a

chance. So, I mean,

I. I just enjoy the game of golf. I

love it. Like, it's my time when summer comes around.

It's like, that's my time to get away.

>> Jonathan: That's right.

>> Speaker A: That's my.

That's my.

>> RB: And everyone needs that space.

>> Speaker A: Everyone needs it. Summertime, um,

it sucks, though, because in Florida,

courses close because it's. It's their

off season, so it's. It's tough.

You know, Pelican,

I think closes after July 4th,

so then, you know, but I.

They were doing like a three week maintenance thing.

Three weeks on for two, three weeks, and then

off or a month, and then reopen after Labor Day for

the summer. For the what? For the season. So it was

tough. Um, so you can maybe

only squeak in about, you know, six, seven rounds.

>> RB: Yeah.

>> Speaker A: Before they. They shut down. But you guys, you know, you want to

play right now in their peak.

>> RB: Season, when everything's like, yeah, I can't

wait.

>> Speaker A: Yeah, I mean, it's gonna be good. Ryan McDonough

was just joined out there, and he played. He was sending me

pictures, uh, the other day, and he's like, man, this

course is unbelievable. He's like, it's just in such great

shape. He's like, the caddies are the best. You know, I feel

like everyone has such a good. When I bring people out there,

like, man, this is great. Like, it's just so peaceful. It's

relaxed, and everyone's so friendly, and it's just like,

yeah, man. Just. They did it the right way.

>> Jonathan: No, they did. And we're definitely stoked to get back down there

and play it again.

>> Speaker A: But, um, the greens are like, Augusta,

too. Yeah.

>> Jonathan: Yeah.

>> RB: Well, I mean, I Don't know that.

>> Speaker A: From what other people say is related in the way they're

smokes and all that. I think they took a page out of

their. Because I think Fred Ridley's a

member. Yeah.

>> RB: Yeah, so. So Fred Ridley's

daughter is married to a guy in a town that we

all live in.

>> Speaker A: Um, where are you guys living?

>> RB: Pittsburgh South. South of Pittsburgh. Yep.

>> Jonathan: I'm in West Virginia, but close

enough state line. Morgantown.

>> RB: Get him the Pikewood. He love that.

>> Speaker A: Yeah, My wife's best friend

is from there.

>> Jonathan: Oh, really?

>> Speaker A: Jillian Barnett.

>> Jonathan: Barnett from Morgantown.

>> Speaker A: Jillian Barnett. Uh, she's from West

Virginia.

>> Jonathan: Huh.

>> Speaker A: She went to Marshall.

>> Jonathan: Okay.

>> RB: I played golf there.

>> Speaker A: Yeah. Ah, she was.

>> RB: I think I. I'm not kidding you. I think I know this

name.

>> Speaker A: Yeah, she's like. You can look her up on Instagram if.

Julian Barnett.

>> RB: All right.

>> Jonathan: Um, he.

>> Speaker A: She's from West Virginia. Yeah.

Um. But, yeah, that's. Small world.

But she moved to St. Louis and then,

um, they became really good friends and she ended up dating

her brother for a little bit. And,

um. Yeah, small world.

Never been out to West Virginia.

>> RB: Well, we can make that happen.

>> Jonathan: Well, we got two top hundos right here, my man, so

you're welcome anytime, man. When you get some downtime, we could do something

up in Pittsburgh, Fox Chapel or Oakmont, Laurel, and

then mosey on down here and hit up a couple spots.

>> RB: Yeah, we'll do that. Really?

>> Speaker A: Absolutely.

>> Jonathan: But I know we're getting close on our time with you, Patty, and

we really appreciate it, but I gotta say one thing before

we transition into our last segment called the Tap in

segment, how about the whole deal with biz

getting kind of gang. Gang bustered over there in

Scottsdale, man. I mean, these five guys didn't even

like, what are they thinking?

>> RB: That one guy?

>> Jonathan: What are they thinking?

>> Speaker A: Yeah, I don't know. Um. Now there's a

video escalating. They attack someone at the golf course.

>> Jonathan: Yeah.

>> RB: Before that. Lay some lady out.

>> Speaker A: Yeah. So like,

um. I mean, they. I, ah.

Uh, they're lucky, to be honest with you.

Um, because if they didn't have

six, I mean, if they maybe had three, I think

bizarre would have took him out.

But, I mean, it didn't even look like biz had a scratch. But

if you see all those photos, those guys looked hurt.

>> Jonathan: Yeah.

>> RB: The gun green.

>> Speaker A: I just think it's immaturity. Like, it seems like

I've been. I've been on Twitter and this one

guys just been like, feeding my

Twitter feed with like, all the information about These

people, he's, like, going deep. And I think biz

is having that. Having this guy on to talk to

him about what he's been finding and all this stuff

they have.

>> RB: Hilarious.

>> Speaker A: Um, so I think that's not their first

offense, but, you know, man up

to biz. I mean, he's sticking up for a place that he goes,

that he's loyal to, too. He knows the managers

there, he knows the workers. And, uh, good on him

because it seemed like no one else was doing anything. And good on

him for stepping in and.

>> RB: Yeah, for sure.

>> Speaker A: Definitely. Um, you know. You know,

some people can just be, you know, that's it. It's just

like, grow up. Like, if they're not going to serve you because you don't have a

seat at the bar, just. Just wait. Be patient.

>> RB: Yeah.

>> Jonathan: Yeah.

>> Speaker A: And seemed, uh, like they were pretty drunk already,

so. But I'm just pumped for biz, though, man, because,

like, these guys, like, if you're gonna treat people

like. And they're messing with the wrong guy

and now this thing has blown up to the max,

or their faces are painted everywhere.

>> Jonathan: Everywhere.

>> RB: They can't have a job right now.

>> Speaker A: No. And I, uh, think it's great because,

you know, they picked the wrong person. But

for sure, good on Bizzle for sticking out

for a place and the manager and,

um, because it seemed like no one else was doing it.

>> Jonathan: That's it. I agree. All
