[00:00:06] looking good for this and I slept in these little goat horn things and I had a blowout

[00:00:12] this morning looking, you know, I lost sleep for my hair to look good and you can attest

[00:00:18] it looked good. Yes. For about 20 minutes and it is so muggy and so humid that this is what we're

[00:00:24] left with now. It'll do it that quick. Oh yeah. Yeah. And this is with like so much hairspray,

[00:00:30] so much product. Last night, Jonathan took me on a date, so I had my hair done last night,

[00:00:34] and I was like, "Oh, I'll preserve the curls. I'll use this little curling rod," which I've used them

[00:00:40] in the past. They are great. Mhm. For the fall and winter, when the air is not thick and moist. Um,

[00:00:50] and so yeah, I I really planned on debuting my my bangs in a much cuter way, but y'all can read

[00:00:58] between the lines. Or maybe you can't, but we're going with it. It's been so wet outside. Mhm.

[00:01:03] Like before yesterday here in Tennessee, and I am getting my information from Charles. Um,

[00:01:11] so take it with a grain of salt. Charles, he told me that we had gotten before yesterday nine inches

[00:01:19] of rain in the month of July. That's a lot. I feel like that sounds right though with how much we've

[00:01:26] gotten. Like we've had a couple of days where we had over two inches of rain in a day. Mhm. Yeah.

[00:01:31] So that's insane. It makes it to where we can't get hardly anything done. We have so many projects

[00:01:37] that we're trying to do. Like I mean we've been waiting on pastures for fencing would be nice.

[00:01:43] We've been trying to fence in four new pastures for what feels like a year. Probably actually

[00:01:48] it is a year. It is a year. And we finally have like just this much left of the final grade. And

[00:01:57] Jonathan was wanting to have post holes done by the end of the week and then we got smacked again

[00:02:02] last night by a pop-up thunderstorm. That's also it's giving me an ulcer because we're on nighttime

[00:02:08] turnout right now cuz during the day it's 100°. So my horses go out at night when it's cooler and

[00:02:14] the flies are less and all that good stuff. Well, I look on my apps and all of us use like multiple

[00:02:21] apps. They all contradict each other. And when I checked yesterday at like 1:00 because we were

[00:02:27] going on our like date and stuff. So before I got in the shower, I was like, "Oh, let me check and

[00:02:30] just text the girls like if they're going in or out." It said like a little rain, 30% chance of

[00:02:36] rain at like 2 a.m. I was like, "Ah, rain's fine. Whatever." It was a red blob. A red blob. We get

[00:02:43] back from our date. Uh huh. It is. Was this a day date? Oh, no. It was dark. Like we went to dinner.

[00:02:50] Gotcha. Gotcha. Um, so we get back from our date, it's dark. All of a sudden, the sky lights up,

[00:02:59] lightning everywhere. Um, like that sent me into a tizzy because luckily the lightning stayed far.

[00:03:06] It didn't really come our way. We just got rain. But I mean, I'm tired. I'm sick and tired. I'm

[00:03:13] tired of this, Grandpa. Of like thunderstorms every night with no warning. Yeah. Like crazy.

[00:03:20] We lost power. You did? Really? Yeah. I had to go get the generator out and run extension cords

[00:03:27] last night. Like, did you have a storm storm? Uh, so it was one of those where it just like it went

[00:03:32] right around us, but it just I guess destroyed the power lines or something. We didn't have power for

[00:03:38] like five hours. The bad stuff did go around us. Mhm. We got a lot of rain though. And I'm like,

[00:03:43] "Oh, great. Kennedy's outside, you know, which she loves being outside." That's the thing. And

[00:03:49] I I stick to my guns on like wanting my horses to have turnout, wanting them to have time to be

[00:03:55] regular horses, but then you're like, man, please don't die. Please don't hurt yourself. Please

[00:04:01] don't break anything. So anyway, we're here. We're ready. We have new hair. Matt is still

[00:04:08] out because he is a daddy again. Yeah, he has a new baby girl. We're so excited for him. So he

[00:04:15] is out with his wife where he should be. He'll be back soon. Um, so we have delayed a little bit of

[00:04:21] the horse show lessons, right? Getting started. Nate had a little lesson that we didn't really

[00:04:30] make a big thing about. You just kind of had your first thing. It was It was only 12 minutes. Making

[00:04:34] sure. It was 12 minutes. Making sure you mesh. I was on the horse for 12 minutes. You did great

[00:04:40] the whole 12 minutes. It was It was great, but I wouldn't call it like You said you were hurting

[00:04:43] though after the 12 minutes. I was really sore but wasn't like a full lesson, you know. So,

[00:04:51] um, some updates because I mean a lot of things have happened in the last couple weeks. So,

[00:04:58] uh, one thing is my Indy babies don't want to they don't want to be show horses. They don't. Um,

[00:05:06] so this past week, which this is a cool topic to talk about, I think because um, not even

[00:05:11] a cool topic, maybe a little bit controversial, but you know, I'll see people bragging my horse

[00:05:17] needs no maintenance or I I haven't given my horse maintenance in six years and he's fine.

[00:05:22] Just haven't dug deep enough. You keep digging that need to look a little harder. But also,

[00:05:30] you know, I don't feel like it's necessarily like a flex to be like, "My horse hasn't gotten

[00:05:36] maintenance in 6 years because like if if your horse is out of the pasture, like okay." Yeah.

[00:05:41] Yeah. If they're a performance horse though, but if they're a performance horse, I mean,

[00:05:45] think about human athletes. It doesn't mean you're like limping when you go get dry needling done or

[00:05:52] when you go get PT done or whatever. Like, you're trying to be at the top of your performance.

[00:05:56] You're trying to be at the top of your comfort during this performance to be able to excel in it,

[00:06:02] right? And so what we do is periodically we'll have the vet come out and just do flex tests. Um,

[00:06:09] so maybe the horse doesn't need anything and that'd be great if the horse needs nothing,

[00:06:13] but you need to check, right? Like you need to like at least check with your vet and be like,

[00:06:17] "Hey, I've been riding my horse consistently every six months." You know, just do a little

[00:06:23] flex test. You don't have to do x-rays every six months. You don't have to do the whole shebang,

[00:06:26] but what they do is they'll take your horse and they'll go leg by leg and they'll hold them in

[00:06:33] a specific spot for like 30 seconds I think at the ankle, at the hock, at the whatever,

[00:06:38] and they'll they'll flex them. And so, usually if the horse doesn't like trot normally afterwards,

[00:06:45] like they'll hold it 30 seconds and then they let them go. And if they don't trot normally

[00:06:50] within like two steps or whatever, then they'll kind of grade their lameness. Mhm. So depending

[00:06:59] on how long it takes for them to work out of that that kind of like soreness, they'll kind of grade

[00:07:04] it one through five. So if your horse took like just a little bit longer to get back to trotting

[00:07:10] normally after the flexion, then they might be like, "Oh, well like it's a two out of five

[00:07:14] on that leg. Maybe maybe icing after you ride or like whatever. Or if it's like a four out of five,

[00:07:19] hey, we need to take some x-rays. We need to see what's going on. Maybe we need to ultrasound this

[00:07:23] wherever is showing lameness. And so that's what we do on our horses. I really haven't had horses

[00:07:29] that have been working super hard at home until this past year, but we want to know because horses

[00:07:35] are stoic, very they're stoic. They most of them some of them are not. Some of them are they will

[00:07:44] tell you immediately if something's wrong. Um, but generally they are meant to be prey animals.

[00:07:50] So they're meant to be stoic. They're meant to be like they don't show their weakness right off the

[00:07:55] bat. And so sometimes you got to like dig a little bit and be like what's what's going on here? And

[00:08:00] sometimes you might think it's a behavioral issue and it's a pain issue. And so like Kennedy, Rikki,

[00:08:05] Ethel, um, all the two-year-olds, we went ahead and flexed and just got a baseline. How's everyone

[00:08:12] doing? You've been in work. Let's see. Let's see if there's any underlying issues. Yeah. And so,

[00:08:17] we were going, we were just doing that already. There's a fly. Anyway, we were just doing that

[00:08:25] already and we were like super happy to see Kennedy looked fantastic. And we were, you know,

[00:08:30] Rikki, we just got her back into work. She had had no vet maintenance and like um we were want

[00:08:36] to make sure she was comfy and we did some x-rays because she had had like a previous surgery on her

[00:08:40] ankle and so we just didn't want to make things worse and we wanted to keep her comfy. Things like

[00:08:44] that. Well, on the 2-year-olds, this is all coming around for a story. Okay. Okay. Because Wally is

[00:08:51] now in a stall for six weeks at least. Really? Because he has a broken leg. Really? Yes. Like I

[00:09:00] laugh because it's I laugh because it's so crazy. We were also just making fun of him for being a

[00:09:06] weenie. We were saying he was a weenie because of his abscess. So he came in from the pasture

[00:09:12] the week before on his back leg. Like usually if you see a horse be fine and they go from fine to

[00:09:19] like I can't put my foot down, it's usually an abscess. And that's generally the most treatable

[00:09:24] thing. Mhm. I mean, it can go south, but like if you catch it, you're usually good. So, he did have

[00:09:29] an abscess. We saw like we started poulticing it. We saw it bust. Like, very confirmed abscess. On

[00:09:36] the front end, completely sound, completely fine. Has had no issues. He had a little bump on the

[00:09:42] front of his cannon bone like six weeks ago. Six weeks ago, which we x-rayed immediately,

[00:09:48] totally fine. We palpated it, we x-rayed it, all the things because I think Dr. Jorge was

[00:09:53] out already. And so we were like, "Hey, can you x-ray this and make sure it's like not anything

[00:09:56] bad?" So we x-rayed it. Oh, it's fine. He just has like a little inflammation there. So we like

[00:10:01] poulticed it and like iced it and all the things. And he was never unsound on it. Yeah. So this time

[00:10:10] bump's still there. We're like, "Hey, can you like We weren't able to flex him fully because

[00:10:16] of the abscess foot. He wasn't going to give like an accurate depiction of soundness." Mhm. And so

[00:10:22] we were like, "Well, while you're here, let's just go ahead and do his x-rays." Cuz we were planning

[00:10:26] on doing 2-year-old x-rays. This bump is weird. We want to do it again. Check it again. And where

[00:10:32] is this? Cannon bone. So like the very front. So the the the hoof is here, ankle, the like long

[00:10:38] bone before his knee, like my shin. Yes. Kind of. If that was a person's anatomy is so weird as to

[00:10:47] what they like finger, I guess. So like this one. Yes. So, the the cannon bone underneath the knee.

[00:10:54] Okay. The bump is like right here. We take the x-ray. And I love when I hear my vet go, "Oh,

[00:11:03] yeah. Music to my ears. Yeah. It can't be good." He goes, "Oh, Lord. It's not broken broken." Yeah.

[00:11:11] But it's a fracture. Yeah. It's like there's a line there and it's it's from like he's like,

[00:11:17] "No doubt blunt force trauma happened to this leg." So Waylon obviously obviously either kicked

[00:11:24] him or while they were like cuz they're always I'm assuming like his little hoof came down on

[00:11:28] it. They're always on their back legs. Yeah, they are always like stallions together and they have

[00:11:36] a blast. They play all the time and so no doubt when they're playing Waylon must have just smacked

[00:11:43] it just in the right way. And um again, so hard for me to like I I'm so doubled down on like my

[00:11:53] stallion prospect having a friend, going outside all the time. Like I don't want to immediately

[00:11:59] put him in a freaking box. Like that's not what I want for my horses. Um but that's just kind of the

[00:12:05] risk that that comes with it. And so luckily we caught it before he was literally even limping.

[00:12:11] Yeah. And so he's going to be on stall rest for like six weeks and then we re-x-ray. So yeah,

[00:12:18] Stephanie's list of horses that she can ride is just dwindling. Now Weezy cuz Weezy had again

[00:12:25] before she was even limping. We found that she had the tiny little hole in her suspensory. So

[00:12:30] she's towards the end like we're like getting to the point where she can come back into work. We

[00:12:33] have two weeks left. Um and then Wally those are our only two horses on stall rest out of 44 if we

[00:12:40] count. Like I I totally forgotten our horse count to put Hollywood. So 44. So out of 44 horses, two

[00:12:47] of them are on stall rest, which isn't that bad. Decent. Under 5%. I did the math. Nice. Uh and

[00:12:57] what was funny is after like I made that post, I don't check Reddit, but other people did, and they

[00:13:01] were like, "Yeah, people don't believe you that those are your only two horses on stall rest." And

[00:13:05] I'm like, I mean Beyonce, who no one else would have Beyonce. No. Like as comfortable as she is,

[00:13:13] like she ripped her deep digital flexor tendon by 95% 10 years ago. It's insane. And so she

[00:13:21] still goes outside every day. She's outside every day. Who else is there that I mean I don't know

[00:13:26] who else they think is hurt anyway. Yeah. So less than 5% are on stall rest and they are both Indy

[00:13:32] babies. Fantastic. And so Stephanie it's just dwindling. So, she's got now she's got Rikki,

[00:13:39] though. And we did um do a little checkup on Blondie, who's my like double registered really

[00:13:45] pretty palomino mare. And we were like, she's really stiff in her hind end. Like, can you

[00:13:49] like look at it? Cuz even if she's just going to be a broodmare, we want her to be comfortable. And

[00:13:53] the more he worked her and the more he flexed her, the more comfortable she was, which she's an older

[00:13:58] mare. He also commented on how voluptuous her booty was. Yes, it is a voluptuous booty. And so,

[00:14:05] holding up a lot. He legs. That is true. It is. He's She's very stout and but she's good boned,

[00:14:12] too. I I imagine we've done a lot of work on her feet since she's been here and we've

[00:14:16] done a lot of things since she's been here and so she might be on the rotation for Stephanie

[00:14:21] to do some ground work with just for like the lubrication of her joints. So anyway, that's kind

[00:14:27] of the horse update. Yeah, that's kind of where we're at horse-wise. Um I am reminded to address

[00:14:34] this though. Okay, so a lot of people have been commenting about me putting my can in my mugs.

[00:14:44] I'm just I'm just goofy. I'm just silly. It's not not cuz you're mad at Mountain Dew. It's No,

[00:14:49] it's not that. It's not because I'm trying to do any sort of thing. I'm just It makes me I I don't

[00:14:56] drink coffee, so it just makes me feel a little more use a mug, you know. And it's a cute mug.

[00:15:01] It's a um Oh, weird. It's a kitty man. How weird that we both have like mugs. What? Right. Where's

[00:15:09] yours? They were all in here. What does yours have on it? That's just my name. This little mini farm

[00:15:17] love. So, if you uh if you like mugs, we have a lot of them. Pretty much every design that we do,

[00:15:26] we've got a mug for it. So, if you want to go shop at katievanslyke.net. She's even doing one

[00:15:32] uh with my face on it. Is that what you said when we the last conversation? I want nothing more than

[00:15:40] to have big reusable water bottles in the store. That's something I rally for all the time. We have

[00:15:47] meetings constantly about merch. It is so hard to source, so expensive. It's a battle between me

[00:15:55] trying not to have super overpriced things in my store and also actually making a profit like Yeah.

[00:16:02] And we have yet to find a supplier that makes it to where because on those types of items generally

[00:16:08] to get it to where you would make a profit, you have to order 10,000 or 20,000. And we're just not

[00:16:13] at that level in our business where we you should get there. But yeah, if you didn't know, mugs.

[00:16:23] Mugs. I'm just in a silly goofy mood. That's why my cans are in there. We're just goofing. We're

[00:16:27] just goofing. Um, the other cool thing that is happening this week, we didn't really tell anybody

[00:16:34] about this last year because we were afraid the platform would literally crash. Yeah. So,

[00:16:39] kind of last minute, I had this idea last year to you know how like do you ever do fantasy football?

[00:16:46] I've done it a couple times a long time ago. Not a big fantasy guy, but I know how to do it and I

[00:16:52] I like it. So, it's fantasy football-esque, but it's fantasy foaling. And so, like for instance,

[00:17:02] this past year we had nightmares. And so by Christmas, we we kind of opened it up just to

[00:17:08] subscribers who were already subscribing at that point. Like we didn't make a big post being like,

[00:17:12] "Oh my gosh, this we're doing this. Go subscribe so that you can be a part of it." Because we were

[00:17:17] afraid that the platform we like last minute tried to use would crash with that many people. We still

[00:17:25] had a ton of people enter. And so we opened it up just for subscribers um who were already there.

[00:17:31] Like I made one post about it and I was like, "Hey guys, we're gonna do this." Just because we were

[00:17:36] so terrified that it was going to like crash and then we wouldn't be able to feel like I remember

[00:17:40] this and I forgot about it because we haven't really talked about it. Very under the radar.

[00:17:44] Very under the radar and we learned a lot for the user experience and and it just felt I don't know

[00:17:50] wrong to make this huge thing about it and then be like, "Oh, we have all these glitches." Like we

[00:17:55] kind of did like a little beta testing thing this year and so lots of lots of improvements have been

[00:18:00] made. We have a third party company we're going to actually use now um for the platform. It's

[00:18:06] going to be a lot more um customized, going to be a lot easier. You're going to be able to save

[00:18:12] information. Like last year, I'll get into it, but anyway, we had nine mares. So by December 25th,

[00:18:19] you had to guess for each of those nine mares, the day the baby was born, the sex of the baby,

[00:18:26] the color, which we left room to say, hey, if the baby's color changes drastically because sometimes

[00:18:34] they don't show up at birth, then we'll change it by, and we had like a designated date, we would

[00:18:39] change it by uh the time of day that they were born. We had like windows of time you could choose

[00:18:45] the amount of time it took for them to stand and the amount of time it took for them to nurse. And

[00:18:50] because we have everything on camera, we had exact times of everything. And so that gave you what's

[00:18:58] like 6 times 9, 54. You do the hand thing. Yeah. I'm trying to get out of that. I can't. Every time

[00:19:05] somebody asked me a math question, I'm just like, um, so there was 54 different choices. Yeah. And

[00:19:15] so, I mean, it definitely whittled it down. There was only one person that had the most

[00:19:20] correct answers. We didn't have any tiebreakers or anything. And so, we had prizes for first, second,

[00:19:28] third. We had random drawings within just all the entries for like gift cards and things. And so we

[00:19:34] made we tried to make it fun, but things that we realized was that with the platform we used the

[00:19:41] first time, you couldn't save your answers. And so then a lot of people would be like,

[00:19:45] I forgot what I put if they didn't write it down. And so big whoops on our part. That's that's why

[00:19:51] it was like a beta testing thing, you know. Um, and so this year we're we're making it a lot

[00:19:58] more user friendly, going to make it a lot more pretty, like all the things. It will just be for

[00:20:03] subscribers again this year. Um, and we will make an announcement when that's open. And again, it is

[00:20:09] it's for the fact that like we do have to limit the amount of people. Like it's it's a platform.

[00:20:15] So So what if they just subscribe do the thing and then cancel? Like do they have to be subscribed

[00:20:20] for the month that you enter? Oh, if you choose to subscribe for longer, that's fine. But you

[00:20:26] only have to be subscribed for like December or something or whatever whatever we decide. Anyway,

[00:20:31] so we have a winner and the winner's prize I think is pretty cool. Yeah, she's coming to the

[00:20:38] farm. So, the winner's prize was they get to bring one person, they get a farm experience. Um it's

[00:20:45] a 4-hour experience of um we got them a really nice hotel in Nashville. We're sending a car to

[00:20:52] pick them up. So, we got like a really nice like car service to go pick them up. Excuse me, I did.

[00:21:00] Um car service picks them up, brings them to the farm. When they get to the farm,

[00:21:04] they are met with lunch. We provide them multiple options and then we get them whatever lunch they

[00:21:08] want. There's three different spaces that they can choose from to eat their lunch, whether that be

[00:21:13] like next to the goats, at the barn, at the shop, whatever they want. Um we already gave them like

[00:21:19] a big merch kind of like gift basket goodie bag kind of deal. They got a bunch of merch.

[00:21:24] Um they get a 30 minute um photo shoot with their favorite animal and then they get they

[00:21:32] get 15 photos that are edited. We've got to talk about that quickly. Um they get 15 edited photos.

[00:21:42] Um they get a full tour of all the barns, of the property. They get to go out in the foal pasture,

[00:21:48] like all that good stuff. And so it's a 4-hour immersive Running Springs experience. And um I

[00:21:55] think it's going to be very fun. So that's kind of like the only thing we've allowed at this point to

[00:22:00] allow someone as far as coming to the farm. As far as coming to the farm. So how do they

[00:22:04] get like content? Do they get to take pictures or anything? So we've got to talk to you about that,

[00:22:09] too. Um so we will be taking content for them. Um so that they don't have to be sitting there

[00:22:18] on their phones. We can take stuff of them, pictures of them with their favorite horses,

[00:22:21] like all that good stuff. Um, and again, we're going to like, you know, have have photos,

[00:22:26] have all the things. Um, just make it really memorable. And, um, so they chose to, you know,

[00:22:32] making it kind of all expense paid. So, like giving them gas vouchers, giving them,

[00:22:36] um, parking vouchers, all the things. And then, uh, they actually wanted to extend their stay. So,

[00:22:41] we just gave them an extra day in their hotel room so that they could, uh, it's a girl and

[00:22:45] her mom coming. Uh, so they're having like a a weekend in Nashville, too, which is really fun.

[00:22:50] So, I'm really excited for it for them for the upcoming year cuz we'll have 12 babies. Make it

[00:22:56] even even crazier. Um, so that's what's that's what's happening this week. So,

[00:23:02] we're we're going to have a really fun time. We're going to make a YouTube video out of it. We're

[00:23:06] going to show the experience. It'll be really fun. Um, I mean, for the for the first year though,

[00:23:12] it went pretty well. Like, we kind of I say we I was like, I have an idea. And then we tried

[00:23:20] to whip something up as best as we could and and it worked out. So we we learned a lot of things.

[00:23:25] When did you come up with that idea? November. Mid November. It couldn't have been too far off that.

[00:23:32] I think it I think it was I don't think it was any earlier than October. Yeah. No. No. Certainly not.

[00:23:39] Certainly not earlier than October. No. No. For it being a very last minute thing and then now I

[00:23:44] think it could be a really cool thing and and it's just another way to be super interactive

[00:23:48] with foaling season, right? And like and I I think there's no really downside to to playing it and

[00:23:56] stuff like that. The only thing was, you know, this year we did have some unfortunate, you know,

[00:24:01] really hard foalings and so um what we did with that was they were just no longer, you know,

[00:24:08] in So do they is there like a leaderboard? So, we did do a leaderboard this year, but because

[00:24:14] of kind of the tragedies and things, it wasn't kept up with as well as it should have been. So,

[00:24:20] that's another thing of why we're doing the third party, just so that everything's like, you know,

[00:24:26] very very distinct on timing, very quick, very uh easy and readable and like it's not hard to find

[00:24:33] and and all that good stuff. So, our hope is this next time like the players will get like a little

[00:24:40] profile so that they can go see what they've chosen and then like see what they've gotten right

[00:24:48] and what they haven't as they go along. So, it's going to be fun. It's going to be fun. So, that's

[00:24:53] one thing that's happening this week and then, you know, we're still just continuing on with with

[00:24:57] trying to prepare for this little horse show that we've planned. But again, like freaking Matt had

[00:25:04] had a kid. Had a kid. Uh, so he hasn't even had a lesson yet. And then we I guess we do probably

[00:25:10] need to um film yours. Yeah. Need to film one with me and I can go first. I'll just watch. You'll

[00:25:18] just watch until the group one. Mhm. Um I feel like after our last conversation with Rebecca, I'm

[00:25:26] very interested in having one of the games entered into it. Yeah. I like the games. Are we barrel

[00:25:33] racing? No, more so like egg and spoon. No, like an egg and spoon or like ride a buck or whatever.

[00:25:44] Like bareback. I was bomb at that. I feel like that's super dangerous though, especially you

[00:25:50] on Kennedy. Yeah, that's I'm like I don't know how she'd feel it. Also, in our first lesson,

[00:26:00] you know, I kind of asked you because I was like, I'm not a dude. Like, yeah, I feel like that would

[00:26:04] take some It would have to be worse practice. It would have to be worse for comfortability. I feel

[00:26:09] like bareback makes you sit more on your bum. Yeah. Anyway, I don't know. I haven't done it

[00:26:14] in a long time. The last time I rode bareback was on Ethel, which is like riding a couch anyway. It

[00:26:18] is. It is. You can do whatever you want on her. You ain't falling off. I feel like we should do

[00:26:23] like barrels, but also Kennedy will be showing at the World Show. That's true. Okay. Um, we could

[00:26:30] do like a walk, trot, lope. We could we could do we'll figure out something. If you have ideas for

[00:27:07] in that video, we explained a little bit about this clinic coming up. And so we're having some

[00:27:12] really amazing trainers and we're gonna have a saddle fitter come out and fit Weezy and Kennedy

[00:27:19] and things like that for a saddle. And we're going to have kind of a So what a clinic is is like a

[00:27:26] it's like a learning class that's also an example I guess. So like there's there's a trainer or two.

[00:27:33] There's like I think there's gonna be about four of us riding and then the trainers will say for

[00:27:40] each of us things we that we need to work on for this one class and they'll kind of do an example

[00:27:44] of the class. And so with this being a new thing within AQHA uh the English versatility, we want to

[00:27:51] just have a very like accessible way to know what the standard is and what judges are looking for

[00:28:00] and how you can showcase your horse. Whether it be a big hunter or whether it be a western pleasure

[00:28:06] horse like Kennedy, if you want to show in it, because it is a really good foundational class for

[00:28:11] everybody, whether your horse is meant to be super flashy at it or whether you're just trying to do

[00:28:18] something different, we want to have this example out there for everybody. So, that's what we're

[00:28:22] doing. With that being said, I need for my thick girls out there that show English, where do I

[00:28:29] get boots? Where do I get my breeches? I mean, I'm not going to be showing like I'm not gonna be in a

[00:28:35] coat or whatnot. I got to go get a helmet. I don't know where my Charles Owen is. I've always been a

[00:28:40] Charles Owen girl. I have no clue where it is. But I will helmet it up. We will we will do the dang

[00:28:45] thing. I'm a big helmet guy. Yeah, you are. I like them. But I also I'm like, do we go ahead and like

[00:30:08] more towards the helmet like a jumping helmet in the equitation for the last like 15 years.

[00:30:41] are sick. I haven't had one of those since I was like a teenager cuz I like swapped to helmet. He

[00:30:47] would walk around with one just Yeah. Just because as a style kind of vibey him and Matt next week

[00:30:54] they're going to come with there's a trainer. It's actually the trainer who has Hank. He has this

[00:31:00] like lucky hunt cap and it's so sun bleached but he refuses to change it because it's lucky and so

[00:32:02] and show the first couple days at the Murfreesboro show. Mhm. And then we just fly out. It's going
