8

00:01:25.550 --> 00:01:27.420

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Okay, are you ready for the big question?

9

00:01:27.420 --> 00:01:28.449

Hope Pedraza: Let me hear it.

10

00:01:28.530 --> 00:01:34.409

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: What's the most significant thing, in your opinion, that we can do as individuals to

11

00:01:34.680 --> 00:01:37.429

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Impact how the world is going.

12

00:01:39.720 --> 00:01:48.940

Hope Pedraza: I think, for me, it is to be aware and to be conscious. I think we can… it's really easy for us to go through life

13

00:01:49.440 --> 00:02:02.240

Hope Pedraza: on autopilot. And to be completely unconscious with our day-to-day, and our existence, and our purpose, and our impact, and all of that, and so for me, it's just living awake, and conscious and aware.

14

00:02:02.410 --> 00:02:19.159

Hope Pedraza: And making that the goal, and the more we do that, I feel like that's how you build a ripple effect. We help other people to do the same, and when we're more aware, we're more conscious, we can spread love and kindness and all of the good things that we want to see in the world.

15

00:02:20.090 --> 00:02:20.770

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Yes.

16

00:02:20.960 --> 00:02:28.910

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And it's so easy, even as spiritually aware people, to fall into old habits of

17

00:02:28.910 --> 00:02:42.039

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: you know, you're just, like, you gotta get the things done, just because, you know, we live in this 3D world, and there's stuff that has to be accomplished, because we don't want to experience the consequences of not accomplishing those.

18

00:02:42.370 --> 00:02:44.120

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: masks, so…

19

00:02:44.680 --> 00:02:55.470

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: just the… the more we can spend in the… that spiritual realm, I think the better off all of us

20

00:02:55.850 --> 00:03:00.419

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: become. But it's not to beat up on people who, like.

21

00:03:00.890 --> 00:03:11.729

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: you're doing the thing, you know, you're going to run into the grocery store, and you're, you know, getting the kids off to school, or whatever it is that you're doing. There's just, like, the daily things.

22

00:03:11.830 --> 00:03:22.490

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: just being able to pull back. We're not trying to bash people who find themselves in that moment, but when you become aware that, hey, I'm just functioning in this… this…

23

00:03:22.820 --> 00:03:36.599

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: we'll call it the reptilian brain. It's just the automatic things that you just normally do that… and you lose track of the fact that, hey, I'm a spiritual being, I'm having an experience here.

24

00:03:36.600 --> 00:03:41.530

Hope Pedraza: It's not the experiences having me. Exactly, exactly.

25

00:03:42.610 --> 00:03:48.450

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: So, you have an interesting approach to all of this, and it really has

26

00:03:48.820 --> 00:04:03.319

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: It's gotten me really curious about how the minerals play into how we feel, and how it affects us on all levels, you know, body, mind, and soul.

27

00:04:03.550 --> 00:04:06.220

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Let's… let's explore that for a little bit.

28

00:04:06.220 --> 00:04:10.280

Hope Pedraza: Yeah, so I… I love anything…

29

00:04:10.280 --> 00:04:35.199

Hope Pedraza: where science meets energetics and science meets soul, and so the work… that's really… I mean, it's the work that I do. It's science meets energetics. And the science part for me is my functional practitioner hat, and one of my favorite things to do is mineral testing. And I run functional labs so we can see what's actually going on in the physical body, so we don't have to guess, and when we know what's going on in the physical body, then we can tie it into the energetic, and the mental and the spiritual and all those things.

30

00:04:35.740 --> 00:04:40.239

Hope Pedraza: So, when we're talking about the physical body, for me, at a foundational level.

31

00:04:40.500 --> 00:04:46.340

Hope Pedraza: If we really want to know, I know people, most women come to me and they're like, fix my hormones, like, I want to fix my hormones, or whatever it is.

32

00:04:46.410 --> 00:05:05.100

Hope Pedraza: And that's fine, I'd love to help you fix your hormones, but at a foundational level, what's actually going on is at a cellular level, and that's where the minerals are. And so, the minerals, for me, are the foundation of everything. The minerals are considered the spark plugs in the body, meaning that everything, every reaction in the body.

33

00:05:05.100 --> 00:05:10.469

Hope Pedraza: involves minerals in some way, shape, or form. Whether they're the cofactor or the catalyst, they're involved. So every

34

00:05:10.470 --> 00:05:19.550

Hope Pedraza: Hormone, enzyme, protein, neurotransmitter, minerals are involved in the creation and the elimination and all of the things that happen with those.

35

00:05:19.600 --> 00:05:20.630

Hope Pedraza: So…

36

00:05:21.140 --> 00:05:31.319

Hope Pedraza: Yes, we feel the effects of, you know, mineral imbalances on our hormones, our energy, our brain fog, our anxiety, and all these other physical symptoms.

37

00:05:31.500 --> 00:05:35.239

Hope Pedraza: But at the core of it, I want to know what's happening with your minerals.

38

00:05:35.520 --> 00:05:42.400

Hope Pedraza: And so, that's where we start. And then, tying that into, kind of, the energetic body.

39

00:05:42.460 --> 00:06:01.970

Hope Pedraza: when we look at, for example, the chakra system, right, all the chakras are correlated with specific glands or organs that emit specific hormones. So the hormones are the little chemical messengers telling our body what to do and when to do it and how to do it, and if we go one layer below that, the minerals are the cofactor, or the catalyst for those.

40

00:06:01.970 --> 00:06:13.229

Hope Pedraza: That's where we start at that physical level that eventually is going to affect us at this energetic level with our energy centers and how the energy's flowing through the body. So it's all about the minerals for me. It starts there.

41

00:06:14.180 --> 00:06:14.780

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Yeah.

42

00:06:15.000 --> 00:06:32.459

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: It's definitely about that. Minerals bring to mind, like, crystals, and I know a lot of our listeners understand crystals have different properties. They're not all the same, and we may hold one and think that I'm getting this benefit, but there…

43

00:06:32.520 --> 00:06:47.270

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: or not. You know, there are people out there that are just like, that's all garbage. But everything vibrates at a frequency. And all of these minerals in our body also bring a frequency

44

00:06:47.350 --> 00:06:50.570

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: that… That needs to be…

45

00:06:51.280 --> 00:07:00.189

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: operating kind of like on a radio. Every… every organ in your body has a job that it does, and it…

46

00:07:00.330 --> 00:07:06.299

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And it all goes together. It's not like you can just say, oh, just fix my hormones. Well, you know…

47

00:07:07.040 --> 00:07:21.909

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: What you're really saying is, like, find… give me a… wave your magic wand and make me irrespons… or not responsible for the consequences of all of the things I've done up to this point, and I don't like this consequence, please fix that.

48

00:07:22.330 --> 00:07:22.900

Hope Pedraza: True.

49

00:07:22.900 --> 00:07:34.429

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Rather than, understanding that it's… it's… it's the whole package. Everything is connected to something else. And, you know, I was talking about the crystal, but it's…

50

00:07:35.010 --> 00:07:47.730

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Each of those minerals is like a separate crystal in that it has properties that… that interact with each other, but also interact with other systems that are in your body.

51

00:07:49.060 --> 00:08:06.280

Hope Pedraza: Yeah, that's exactly right. And, I mean, we are really… we are electromagnetic beings, and we all… we have electrical properties, and thinking specifically, like, sodium and potassium, we hear about electrolytes, that's what's happening. It's sending electrical signals throughout the body, so we are electromagnetic beings, we're electrical beings.

52

00:08:06.280 --> 00:08:16.089

Hope Pedraza: And so, that's really what's happening. And you're right, and I think that's important to bring up, too, is that it's not just about the individual minerals, but it's how they interact with each other. And that's really…

53

00:08:16.280 --> 00:08:28.219

Hope Pedraza: the beauty of the testing that I do with minerals, I do… I use an HTMA, or a hair tissue and mineral analysis, is because, yes, we can look at the minerals at face value, but really what's more important is how they're interacting with each other.

54

00:08:28.220 --> 00:08:46.980

Hope Pedraza: Because they all have these special relationships, and they all… all these different combination of minerals help with specific things, like your thyroid, or your adrenals, or your immune system, or your gut. So they all have these roles that they play together and separately, so it gives you a whole picture when we look at those relationships as well.

55

00:08:47.680 --> 00:08:54.560

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And it's not even a matter of having not enough of some of them. Sometimes you have too much.

56

00:08:54.710 --> 00:09:01.929

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Of some things, and it throws everything off balance. And without testing, it's really hard…

57

00:09:02.250 --> 00:09:19.880

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: hard to know what's going on. And, you know, just going to a regular doctor, you can ask for the tests, but unless you actually… you personally know what you're looking for, or how it's supposed to go together, that doctor's not going to be able to tell you, really.

58

00:09:19.960 --> 00:09:24.910

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: He's gonna tell you you're within the normal range, but it's normal for sick people!

59

00:09:24.910 --> 00:09:49.739

Hope Pedraza: Well, that's it. That's it. And that's really the big difference between functional labs and conventional labs, right? Functional labs, you're literally looking at the function of the body. Conventional labs are just for disease and diagnosis, that's really the only thing. So yeah, you're in the normal range for a person who doesn't have a disease, but if you want to know, you know, how can I live optimally, and that's, you know, the people I work with, they want optimal. Like, I don't want to just be not dead, or, you know, not sick, I want to live optimally.

60

00:09:49.950 --> 00:10:06.500

Hope Pedraza: And the other thing with the labs is, with the HTMA, or the hair tissue mineral analysis, you're literally sending in some of your hair, hair as a tissue or collection of cells, right? And so it's going to give you a completely different reading than when you go to the… because you can get your minerals tested in a blood lab, you can do that.

61

00:10:06.750 --> 00:10:08.460

Hope Pedraza: But just like any other blood lab.

62

00:10:08.620 --> 00:10:21.649

Hope Pedraza: A blood lab is just a blip in time. It's like, this is what's happening in your body right now. I could take the same test tomorrow, and it could say something totally different, depending on what I ate, or if I had stress, or if I, you know, it could say something totally different.

63

00:10:21.900 --> 00:10:31.150

Hope Pedraza: So, with… and that's the other thing with minerals, not to get too science-y, but a lot of minerals are intracellular, meaning they're supposed to be in your cells.

64

00:10:31.150 --> 00:10:51.670

Hope Pedraza: So if I'm looking at it from a blood panel, for a lot of these minerals, I'm really not getting an accurate reading. That's not what's going on in the cells, it's in your blood. And which can also give you, kind of, misinformation, if you will. Like, specifically, I'm thinking about potassium. I've had this happen with multiple clients, where they go and get their blood labs, and they're like, oh yeah, my doctor said my potassium is, like, through the roof.

65

00:10:51.670 --> 00:11:03.409

Hope Pedraza: Well, yeah, it's not supposed to be in your blood, it's supposed to be in your cells, so you're actually deficient. Like, we need to work on your potassium level, so it's just… it's just not giving you the full picture of what's going on at a cellular level when we're looking at the blood lab.

66

00:11:04.630 --> 00:11:07.550

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I think that happens with people with thyroid issues, also.

67

00:11:07.550 --> 00:11:07.919

Hope Pedraza: So, yeah.

68

00:11:07.920 --> 00:11:14.550

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: It's, like, the common complaint is, well, I went to the doctor, and he said, I'm fine. Well, Yeah.

69

00:11:14.910 --> 00:11:19.479

Hope Pedraza: It's fine in the fact that you don't have a disease with your thyroid, but your thyroid still isn't functioning great.

70

00:11:19.480 --> 00:11:23.440

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Yeah. It just doesn't mean anything. Yeah.

71

00:11:23.440 --> 00:11:25.510

Hope Pedraza: Yeah, for sure. We like to assign.

72

00:11:25.510 --> 00:11:30.770

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Assign meaning to things that… really… Don't have any meaning.

73

00:11:31.000 --> 00:11:31.620

Hope Pedraza: Yeah.

74

00:11:31.910 --> 00:11:33.979

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Just because, you know, they can charge you for it.

75

00:11:33.980 --> 00:11:36.260

Hope Pedraza: Yeah, exactly.

76

00:11:37.670 --> 00:11:41.089

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: So, how does all this play into human design?

77

00:11:41.420 --> 00:11:42.620

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Yeah.

78

00:11:43.040 --> 00:11:44.540

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: That's an interesting connection.

79

00:11:44.540 --> 00:11:58.550

Hope Pedraza: Yes, yes, yes. So, the first step for me, as I mentioned, is always looking at the physical body, just so we don't have to guess. We don't have to wonder, is it your hormones, is it your gut? Is it your thyroid? Is it… whatever. We do the labs, I have… we have the data now, this is exactly what's going on in your body.

80

00:11:58.550 --> 00:12:04.589

Hope Pedraza: From there is where I tied into human design. So I have the labs, I have the data to see this is what's going on.

81

00:12:04.590 --> 00:12:10.859

Hope Pedraza: Now I can look at your human design chart and see… let's analyze that. Let's see… let's look at your energy centers.

82

00:12:10.860 --> 00:12:24.720

Hope Pedraza: See how your energy is designed to flow in the body, and then put these things together, so if I see, you know, XYZs happening in your adrenals, well, let's look at your chart and see the root center is tied to your adrenals, so let's see how the energy is designed to flow through your adrenals.

83

00:12:24.720 --> 00:12:44.330

Hope Pedraza: Is it defined or is it undefined, right? Are there… what patterns and shadows are showing up there that we can work to deconditioning? And from there, once we can kind of see the energetic patterns that are showing up that are causing these physical things to happen, then we can do the subconscious work, the reprogramming, the deconditioning, to work on releasing those patterns to get that

84

00:12:44.330 --> 00:12:50.269

Hope Pedraza: That free flow of life force energy flowing back through the body, which is going to affect you at the physical level.

85

00:12:51.700 --> 00:12:54.899

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And don't you just love how they all kind of go together?

86

00:12:54.900 --> 00:13:01.330

Hope Pedraza: I love it. I love a puzzle. It's just like a puzzle. It's a big puzzle, and I just love putting the pieces together. It's… it's really… I love it.

87

00:13:02.330 --> 00:13:10.029

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And how do your… how do your clients feel after they go through this experience? Because it's… it's so unique.

88

00:13:10.280 --> 00:13:12.270

Hope Pedraza: Yeah, yeah, I mean, it's… it's…

89

00:13:12.320 --> 00:13:27.670

Hope Pedraza: you know, it's really… yes, it's this journey to healing, but it's also this journey to you. Like, it's this journey to understanding yourself at this whole other level. I mean, human design alone, in my opinion, is this journey to understanding yourself at a whole other level.

90

00:13:27.670 --> 00:13:33.139

Hope Pedraza: But when you're putting it together with your physical, emotional, mental, all these other… like, putting that whole

91

00:13:33.280 --> 00:13:36.130

Hope Pedraza: puzzle together, all those pieces together.

92

00:13:36.740 --> 00:13:39.810

Hope Pedraza: You were understanding yourself at this time.

93

00:13:39.810 --> 00:13:57.710

Hope Pedraza: totally different level, because I know what's going on in my physical body. I know why this is happening in my physical body. I understand myself on an energetic level, and how these things are impacting this. You have this whole picture of how and why your body is functioning the way it is. And for me, like, I always tell my clients this.

94

00:13:57.710 --> 00:14:06.670

Hope Pedraza: the biggest thing for me, the biggest thing I want them to walk away with, for me, is feeling a sense of empowerment. Where I know my body.

95

00:14:06.960 --> 00:14:25.309

Hope Pedraza: I know how to advocate for myself, because I know my body so much, so I know how to advocate for myself, and speak up for myself, and to find the support and the help that I want, because I know if I'm feeling something in my body, I know that it's right, and I'm gonna find… you know, it helps them make empowered decisions for themselves, and it helps them…

96

00:14:25.520 --> 00:14:36.850

Hope Pedraza: be able to have that confidence to go out into the world. And, you know, work a lot with high-performing women, a lot who are entrepreneurs, or business owners, or career-driven women.

97

00:14:36.870 --> 00:14:49.919

Hope Pedraza: And it's… that… that confidence you feel in your body from just understanding your body at that level carries over into every other aspect of your life, into your business, and your career, and your relationships. So it's… I mean, you can't… I think the…

98

00:14:50.240 --> 00:15:04.620

Hope Pedraza: the Western world does a really good job of compartmentalizing our body, compartmentalizing all these things, but they all go together. I mean, all these patterns, the way your body is functioning, is the way your business and your relationships, and it's all connected.

99

00:15:04.620 --> 00:15:15.829

Hope Pedraza: And so, to understand yourself at this deep level is going to affect every… impact every other aspect of your life, and that's… I mean, that's what my clients… that's what they leave with, and that's what I want them to leave with.

100

00:15:17.010 --> 00:15:22.160

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I… I look at this, and I know from experience that once

101

00:15:22.770 --> 00:15:32.839

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: you experience something like this. It also has ripple effects out into your community, because then you're… then you're looking at your kids differently.

102

00:15:32.840 --> 00:15:33.380

Hope Pedraza: Mmm…

103

00:15:33.380 --> 00:15:43.930

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And you're helping them grow up, understanding that, hey, there's a connection here between who you were designed to be and how you're feeling, and it helps them,

104

00:15:44.110 --> 00:15:45.650

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: When they get to be…

105

00:15:46.280 --> 00:15:56.270

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: teens and young adults and, you know, as they go through life, they're more connected to their body. My youngest daughter is, like.

106

00:15:56.270 --> 00:16:01.160

Hope Pedraza: She's kind of amazing, in that she just has always intuitively.

107

00:16:01.160 --> 00:16:02.870

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: understood her body.

108

00:16:03.180 --> 00:16:04.050

Hope Pedraza: That's awesome.

109

00:16:04.050 --> 00:16:10.030

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I've learned so much about just respecting my own body from her.

110

00:16:10.030 --> 00:16:10.600

Hope Pedraza: Hmm.

111

00:16:10.600 --> 00:16:14.140

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I always say that, you know, She's a gift.

112

00:16:14.600 --> 00:16:17.580

Hope Pedraza: That's amazing. She came here, she's a much older soul.

113

00:16:17.580 --> 00:16:22.440

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Yeah, yeah, yeah. To teach me stuff. Yep. And she has so much stuff.

114

00:16:23.760 --> 00:16:25.800

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: But it just… it…

115

00:16:25.990 --> 00:16:40.329

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: there's so much power when you can understand how your body functions, and you can take, I want to say ownership or responsibility, but it's even more than that. It's just… it's like…

116

00:16:40.430 --> 00:16:52.159

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: It's like the power center inside of you gets lit up, and you can advocate for yourself in a way that is… it doesn't come across as aggressive.

117

00:16:52.390 --> 00:17:01.679

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: But it's very much just who you are, and people can be in your energy, and they feel comfortable.

118

00:17:01.990 --> 00:17:05.210

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: But there's… the boundaries are definitely there.

119

00:17:05.670 --> 00:17:07.310

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I don't know if that makes sense.

120

00:17:07.310 --> 00:17:20.999

Hope Pedraza: Yeah, no, it makes total sense. Yeah, for sure. Yeah, I mean, it's you… you understanding your body is you standing in your power. I mean, that's… that's what it is, which I really… I mean, I could go down a rabbit hole in this, but I think that's for so long, that's why so much…

121

00:17:21.000 --> 00:17:35.410

Hope Pedraza: I mean, women didn't know how their bodies worked for centuries. They didn't understand how or why they got pregnant, what a period was, the fact that you could prevent pregnancies if you knew what time of the month to not have sex, right? All these things, I think, were kept from us for so many years for that reason.

122

00:17:35.410 --> 00:17:45.120

Hope Pedraza: I think… I think it's universally known how much power, especially a woman, has when she understands her body and how her body works, and I mean, that is, that's us standing in our power.

123

00:17:46.210 --> 00:17:52.220

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Yeah, I'm so over the… every phase of a woman's life is a medical crisis.

124

00:17:52.220 --> 00:18:10.159

Hope Pedraza: Well, that's it, and I think that's such a good point, because, you know, there have been studies, and studying menopause in different cultures, you know, in the United States, and a lot of the Western world, it's like this horrible thing, and you have these horrible symptoms, and you have to suffer through it, and blah blah blah.

125

00:18:10.160 --> 00:18:27.410

Hope Pedraza: Where in a lot of indigenous cultures and ancient cultures and Eastern cultures, it's a rite of passage, and they don't have the same symptoms, because you're going into it with the mindset of, like, this is a rite of passage, and it completely changes how you experience that transition.

126

00:18:28.010 --> 00:18:29.560

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I love menopause.

127

00:18:29.750 --> 00:18:36.210

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I'm 65, and it's just, like, this is the best part of my life. I love it.

128

00:18:36.210 --> 00:18:37.230

Hope Pedraza: so much.

129

00:18:37.230 --> 00:18:45.130

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: You know? It's something to look forward to as a younger woman. It's like, you've arrived.

130

00:18:45.130 --> 00:18:47.130

Hope Pedraza: I love that.

131

00:18:47.840 --> 00:18:53.889

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: So, yeah, and it's… I see so many women out there that are just, like, they…

132

00:18:54.080 --> 00:19:07.109

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: They're, like, afraid of it, they're afraid of getting pregnant, they get pregnant, and then they feel like they have to depend on the medical community to help them, because nobody has told them, you know, how the process goes.

133

00:19:07.110 --> 00:19:15.109

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I remember the first time I had my first child, it was before the internet, and it was actually even before ultrasounds. I didn't know if she was going to be a boy or a girl.

134

00:19:15.200 --> 00:19:16.200

Hope Pedraza: And…

135

00:19:16.200 --> 00:19:19.700

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: She's in her 40s now.

136

00:19:20.840 --> 00:19:27.940

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: it was… it was… and my mother wasn't… my mother and I had, like, a terrible relationship, but,

137

00:19:28.580 --> 00:19:31.949

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I wasn't talking to her, so… and she didn't know, she…

138

00:19:32.170 --> 00:19:35.059

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: She… she didn't really want to have kids.

139

00:19:35.790 --> 00:19:43.229

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And so… It was a big surprise to me, the whole process.

140

00:19:43.340 --> 00:19:49.910

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And, you know, the what to expect when you're Expecting series, That… that's…

141

00:19:50.420 --> 00:20:00.399

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: That's junk science. Yeah. That should not help you. There's… there's a book that Dr. Sears wrote, the birth book, I think is what it.

142

00:20:00.400 --> 00:20:00.940

Hope Pedraza: Oh, okay.

143

00:20:01.050 --> 00:20:06.009

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I read that after… when I was having my third child, and it was just like…

144

00:20:06.190 --> 00:20:09.240

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Oh, so these are the phases you go through.

145

00:20:09.240 --> 00:20:10.010

Hope Pedraza: Mmm.

146

00:20:10.060 --> 00:20:20.589

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And, you know, it empowers women to just have babies and not have to have epidurals or any of the other chemicals they want to sling at you.

147

00:20:21.550 --> 00:20:35.039

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And there's… there's ways to do it that, you know, with breathing techniques, and, you know, they talked about Lamaze, but, you know, if you don't understand what the process is, that's not going to help you.

148

00:20:35.040 --> 00:20:35.610

Hope Pedraza: Yeah.

149

00:20:35.840 --> 00:20:37.410

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And I… I don't know.

150

00:20:38.100 --> 00:20:39.660

Hope Pedraza: Yeah, it's true, I mean.

151

00:20:39.660 --> 00:20:39.990

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I think.

152

00:20:39.990 --> 00:20:46.380

Hope Pedraza: That's true with every phase. I mean, I think it's even true with when young girls start their periods, like…

153

00:20:46.430 --> 00:20:56.929

Hope Pedraza: I know… I didn't know… I didn't know… I didn't know any… I didn't know anything. I didn't know anything, and we don't… I think, you know, the sex ed I had in school was essentially like, here's, like.

154

00:20:56.930 --> 00:21:20.420

Hope Pedraza: sex makes babies, don't have sex, like, that was the extent of it. Like, there wasn't a lot. You didn't learn the phases of your cycle, like, there's so much that wasn't taught. And I work with women, grown women in their 30s, 40s, 50s, even 60s, who were never taught about their period, never taught about the phases of their menstrual cycle, never taught about their hormone fluctuations throughout the month. Like, we were… most of us, I don't want to say none of us, most of us were not taught this stuff.

155

00:21:20.700 --> 00:21:35.960

Hope Pedraza: And cycle syncing is a huge piece of what I help my women who are premenopausal, what I help them with, and building their business according to their cycle, and knowing their energy. Like, this is empowering. This is how women work smarter, not harder. This is how women

156

00:21:36.000 --> 00:21:46.039

Hope Pedraza: In my opinion, stave off dis-ease in the body when we understand our energetic, our hormonal cycles, and we can work to that so we're not working against ourselves.

157

00:21:46.040 --> 00:21:59.409

Hope Pedraza: And we can use our superpowers that happen in different phases throughout the month to be productive, or creative, or intuitive, or whatever it is. I mean, it's… there's so much power in that, and yeah, I think it all goes down… we just…

158

00:21:59.410 --> 00:22:05.499

Hope Pedraza: we weren't given a manual, and we weren't taught these things, because I think, collectively.

159

00:22:05.970 --> 00:22:17.289

Hope Pedraza: the patriarchy, if you will. It's… we know what power we hold when we understand how our bodies work. Like, we hold the power, really. We're the only beings that can create life, so we really do hold the power.

160

00:22:18.130 --> 00:22:18.720

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Yeah!

161

00:22:19.870 --> 00:22:24.870

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Yeah, and it's… when… Ignorance…

162

00:22:25.760 --> 00:22:38.310

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Ignorance makes it easier to be controlled, because when you don't know what's happening, you have to depend on other people to help you, whereas when you are informed about how things work.

163

00:22:38.440 --> 00:22:43.729

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: You… you can make different decisions, because you understand what the consequences are.

164

00:22:43.730 --> 00:22:44.630

Hope Pedraza: Exactly.

165

00:22:44.630 --> 00:22:45.270

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: You know.

166

00:22:46.940 --> 00:22:57.919

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And it empowers you to say no to things that are just like, no, that's gonna happen at a time when I need to just be very mellow and low-key. And…

167

00:22:58.570 --> 00:23:04.899

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: A note for older women, or women who are looking at menopause.

168

00:23:05.020 --> 00:23:07.360

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Those cycles don't stop.

169

00:23:07.360 --> 00:23:08.219

Hope Pedraza: Yeah, for sure.

170

00:23:08.220 --> 00:23:11.629

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: If you don't stop being a woman just because you stop menstruating.

171

00:23:11.630 --> 00:23:12.140

Hope Pedraza: Yes!

172

00:23:12.140 --> 00:23:20.460

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: You still have times of the month where you're much more energetic, it may sync up more with the moon, you might

173

00:23:20.550 --> 00:23:36.610

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: pay more attention to the moon, what's going on. We are water beings, primarily. People don't understand that, and water works in our bodies in interesting ways. Water is a conductor of electricity.

174

00:23:36.610 --> 00:23:41.560

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: People forget that. Water can be changed by talking to it.

175

00:23:41.750 --> 00:23:45.519

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And… Putting intention into it?

176

00:23:45.680 --> 00:23:53.549

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Not just the water in the glass that you have sitting next to you, but the water in your body, based on what you tell it.

177

00:23:54.170 --> 00:23:55.790

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And how you talk to it?

178

00:23:56.120 --> 00:24:07.040

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And you can talk to your body, and… and… And hold thoughts that will… change… Your body physically?

179

00:24:07.450 --> 00:24:16.489

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And it's… It's just… it's just how we were created, but most people just don't understand all of that.

180

00:24:16.490 --> 00:24:32.870

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: You're told you have a heart, it pumps, it pumps oxygen around your body and blood, but I don't know that that actually is how it works. It's just like trees. Did you know trees don't just suck water up out of the ground? They actually draw it down from the sky?

181

00:24:33.010 --> 00:24:35.060

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And put it in the ground?

182

00:24:35.060 --> 00:24:36.280

Hope Pedraza: Wow.

183

00:24:36.450 --> 00:24:39.460

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: There's just, like, so much science around water that.

184

00:24:39.460 --> 00:24:40.020

Hope Pedraza: Yeah.

185

00:24:40.860 --> 00:24:46.529

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: You know, we talk about cycles, but, you know, water is one of the biggest minerals in our body.

186

00:24:46.530 --> 00:24:47.350

Hope Pedraza: Yeah, yeah.

187

00:24:47.350 --> 00:24:48.679

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: that it…

188

00:24:49.710 --> 00:24:58.029

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: we need to understand it, and it's not all just H2O. Like, H3O is a much more potent

189

00:24:58.590 --> 00:25:05.040

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: kind of water in your body that's a charged Type of water?

190

00:25:05.040 --> 00:25:05.770

Hope Pedraza: Yeah.

191

00:25:07.200 --> 00:25:09.600

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: That's so exciting. I get… I get into the science.

192

00:25:09.600 --> 00:25:12.449

Hope Pedraza: I love it, I love it.

193

00:25:14.160 --> 00:25:19.539

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: So… As we bring our physical and energetic worlds together.

194

00:25:21.120 --> 00:25:24.090

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: How do you feel that it helps us understand ourselves?

195

00:25:27.140 --> 00:25:32.649

Hope Pedraza: I think that… I mean, I think it goes back to what we were saying before. I think…

196

00:25:33.110 --> 00:25:49.720

Hope Pedraza: Understanding the physical processes and, like, physiologically, how our body works is one thing, which I think is very important, and I want my clients to understand that, which is why when I… when I'm going over labs, I mean, I go in a really in-depth consult with them, so they really understand what's going on, so I think that is important. I think…

197

00:25:49.910 --> 00:25:59.629

Hope Pedraza: even more importantly, I think, is the energetic body, because I really believe that everything physical that's happening in the body has some energetic, emotional root cause.

198

00:26:00.050 --> 00:26:03.660

Hope Pedraza: So for me, that's even more crucial, is to understand

199

00:26:04.000 --> 00:26:13.660

Hope Pedraza: how your energetic body works. And for me, energy and emotions, those are… those are interchangeable for me, because emotions are energy, emotion, so it's… for me, it's… it's the same thing.

200

00:26:13.660 --> 00:26:27.330

Hope Pedraza: So, understanding how your energy body works, and understanding how the energy is designed to flow through, and which is why I bring in human design, understanding the patterns and the conditioning that exists in your energy body.

201

00:26:27.330 --> 00:26:36.180

Hope Pedraza: and understanding how that impacts how your energy is flowing, and thus impacts your physical body. So I think, for me, the most important piece is that

202

00:26:36.320 --> 00:26:53.540

Hope Pedraza: energetic piece, because that's… that's the… when we talk about root cause, and we talk about root cause a lot, and for… before I brought this into my work, and I was just doing the work as a functional practitioner, it was all, you know, oh, the root cause of, you know, chronic symptoms, and root cause being, you know, the gut things, or the mineral things, and that's…

203

00:26:53.650 --> 00:26:55.039

Hope Pedraza: That's part of it.

204

00:26:55.370 --> 00:27:11.510

Hope Pedraza: But the deeper root cause, the deepest root cause, is that energetic body. It's what's going on in your energetic body. What are the patterns that are playing out in the background, the subconscious beliefs that are causing the patterns to play out in the background? Like, that's… that is the real root cause.

205

00:27:11.640 --> 00:27:14.420

Hope Pedraza: So, that's… that's the most important piece for me.

206

00:27:16.150 --> 00:27:21.449

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I love that. So, how do you work with people? Is it, like, one-on-one, in groups?

207

00:27:21.450 --> 00:27:37.730

Hope Pedraza: Yeah, right now, it's one-on-one. I do have some courses that are more self-paced, but it's still, it still has a little bit of touch points for me, just because I like to be able to look at the labs and give that really in-depth analysis with the labs and tying it to human design, so I do have some more self-paced

208

00:27:37.880 --> 00:27:51.410

Hope Pedraza: type, programs, but then the one-on-one work, we really go deep into, like, I call them quantum healing sessions, like, into the work to, you know, uncover all those patterns and deconstruct and rewire all those patterns. So I love the one-on-one work, but

209

00:27:51.410 --> 00:27:59.759

Hope Pedraza: there are definitely ways to do more self-guided, and some people are, you know, some people thrive in that self-guided, self-paced kind of way, so I do have those options, too.

210

00:28:01.030 --> 00:28:04.569

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I love that. And I know that you're over on Substack.

211

00:28:05.430 --> 00:28:09.379

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: So, let's talk a little bit about what you're doing over there.

212

00:28:09.380 --> 00:28:10.400

Hope Pedraza: Yeah, yeah.

213

00:28:10.400 --> 00:28:11.089

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: your plans.

214

00:28:11.090 --> 00:28:30.560

Hope Pedraza: I… my plans… I was gonna say, it's new to me. Like, I've been on Substack for a while, but I've just been reading… I've just… I've… I found Substack a while back, and I just… I love reading other people's musings and, you know, internal thoughts that they're bringing to life, and, like, the work of people's inner worlds. Like, I…

215

00:28:30.560 --> 00:28:41.529

Hope Pedraza: It's such a different platform, and that's really why I was drawn to it. I'm kind of getting over the social media thing, like, it's kind of been kind of a drudgery for a while for me.

216

00:28:41.930 --> 00:28:51.849

Hope Pedraza: So I… yeah, I like… I like the deep thoughts and the deep, yeah, an intuitive…

217

00:28:52.490 --> 00:29:11.059

Hope Pedraza: stories and all of those things. So, yeah, my plan over there, I'd been there for a while, and I literally just started posting, like we said… I said before you hit record, literally today was the first post that I posted, because I've just been reading everybody's stuff, like, and also kind of getting an idea, like, how do… how do I, you know, how do we do this? How do we… how does it work? How are people interacting? That kind of thing.

218

00:29:11.060 --> 00:29:21.970

Hope Pedraza: But for me, I… I'm a Pisces, so I am, like, the deep, intuitive mystic that has a lot of, like, really deep things to talk about, and I just find a lot of times social media is just not…

219

00:29:21.970 --> 00:29:25.059

Hope Pedraza: as welcoming to that kind of thing. I'm not saying you can't do that there.

220

00:29:25.200 --> 00:29:44.459

Hope Pedraza: I just don't feel as, yeah, I don't know, don't feel as great about it there. So that's my goal. I want to bring… I have so many… I… I love to write, I love poetry, I have creative things that I want to express, so for me, that's what it's going to be a lot of, is just kind of bringing all those things that have been percolating in my…

221

00:29:45.050 --> 00:29:55.270

Hope Pedraza: Inner world, in my mind, and in my soul that want to come out, and using this as a place to let all of those out, and connect with other people who are doing the same.

222

00:29:56.140 --> 00:29:58.409

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: That sounds awesome. I'm a Pisces, too, so what.

223

00:29:58.410 --> 00:30:01.849

Hope Pedraza: Oh, amazing! February 20th is mine.

224

00:30:02.860 --> 00:30:07.080

Hope Pedraza: On the 24th. Okay, so you're right on the cusp, or right on the cusp.

225

00:30:07.080 --> 00:30:07.970

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Yep, yep.

226

00:30:07.970 --> 00:30:09.150

Hope Pedraza: Awesome.

227

00:30:11.110 --> 00:30:11.890

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Yeah.

228

00:30:12.380 --> 00:30:14.720

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I meet a lot of Pisces in my life.

229

00:30:14.720 --> 00:30:15.560

Hope Pedraza: Oh, barely.

230

00:30:15.560 --> 00:30:17.690

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I kind of attract them, I don't know why.

231

00:30:17.690 --> 00:30:18.020

Hope Pedraza: Yeah.

232

00:30:18.370 --> 00:30:19.610

Hope Pedraza: funny.

233

00:30:20.150 --> 00:30:27.660

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: So you… you offer a holistic detox, energetic spring cleaning for the mind, body, and soul. You want to talk a little bit about that?

234

00:30:27.680 --> 00:30:32.609

Hope Pedraza: Yeah, yeah. So, I… the work that I do, I…

235

00:30:32.840 --> 00:30:49.580

Hope Pedraza: I can't help but make it, like, a comprehensive, holistic experience. So, it's, you know, we… the word holistic, I always hesitate to use that word. I think it's thrown out around so much where I… people don't even know what it means anymore. For me, it's more like W-H-O-L-E. It's whole, it's the whole body.

236

00:30:49.580 --> 00:30:56.439

Hope Pedraza: And so, we talk about detoxing. Detoxing… detox has been, like, a real… I feel like a really trendy word over the past, I don't know.

237

00:30:56.440 --> 00:31:01.449

Hope Pedraza: maybe 6 to 7 years. And so, when I created this, I wanted it…

238

00:31:01.550 --> 00:31:07.649

Hope Pedraza: to be something that people could resonate with, because people resonate like, oh, I need to detox. But this isn't like a…

239

00:31:07.650 --> 00:31:24.890

Hope Pedraza: let's go do a juice cleanse kind of detox. This is that WHOLE detox, where, yes, I'll talk about the body, and we'll talk about your detox pathways in your body, but we're also going to talk about your mind, and your energy, and your spirit. Again, that holistic approach to detox, and how…

240

00:31:24.890 --> 00:31:26.689

Hope Pedraza: We can detox

241

00:31:27.080 --> 00:31:39.860

Hope Pedraza: Energies that no longer serve you, maybe energies that aren't yours that you've been carrying, all of those things, and it really is just this holistic, comprehensive experience of detoxing my body, soul.

242

00:31:41.790 --> 00:31:46.560

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I love it. And people can find this, they'll be able to find it on Substack.

243

00:31:46.560 --> 00:31:51.790

Hope Pedraza: Yes, they can find it. By subscribing to your system? By subscribing, yes, exactly.

244

00:31:51.790 --> 00:31:54.159

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And that's going… we just decided this today, so…

245

00:31:54.760 --> 00:31:56.240

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: The time you guys hear this…

246

00:31:56.240 --> 00:31:58.900

Hope Pedraza: Real time?

247

00:31:59.500 --> 00:32:03.350

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: You can find her substack at Hope.

248

00:32:04.160 --> 00:32:05.280

Hope Pedraza: Pedraza.

249

00:32:05.280 --> 00:32:10.329

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Pedraza, thank you. Yes, I'm sorry. I thought I'd written it down here, but then I…

250

00:32:10.610 --> 00:32:23.900

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: then it's not where I put it. So, hopepedraza.substack.com, and she also has a website, hopefulandwholesome.com, and you also have a podcast.

251

00:32:23.900 --> 00:32:26.540

Hope Pedraza: So, let's talk about that for half a second, and then…

252

00:32:26.810 --> 00:32:32.770

Hope Pedraza: Yeah, for sure. So it's the same name, Hopeful and Wholesome. And the podcast really, I mean, it's…

253

00:32:32.770 --> 00:32:55.360

Hope Pedraza: geared towards high-performing women, and it's all that… I mean, it's a lot of what we talked about today. It's putting together the body, the mind, the soul, we talk about mindset, we talk about nutrition and wellness and energetics and spiritual things, so it's really that, again, that W-H-O-L-E approach to life and living, and how that impacts every aspect of your life, so I have some

254

00:32:55.360 --> 00:33:20.299

Hope Pedraza: really great interviews with industry experts and thought leaders, and then I have a lot of solo episodes. I do little mini episodes every Friday that I call Magnetic Minute of Hope, pun intended, and it's just, like, little 5-minute little snippets for Fridays for just, just, like, deep insights and thoughts to bring into the weekend. So, yeah, it's a really great place to hang out and connect with me and learn more about what I do and what I teach, and just to dive into your own

255

00:33:20.300 --> 00:33:23.020

Hope Pedraza: deeper into your own journey, so you can find me there.

256

00:33:23.610 --> 00:33:25.709

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Beautiful, beautiful. We'll definitely have to…

257

00:33:25.940 --> 00:33:33.510

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: connect people to that, too. Yeah. Don't you love how whole can be, like, nothing and everything?

258

00:33:33.720 --> 00:33:34.370

Hope Pedraza: Yeah.

259

00:33:35.210 --> 00:33:36.670

Hope Pedraza: That's very deep.

260

00:33:37.360 --> 00:33:40.870

Hope Pedraza: That just kind of hit me. I love that. I love that.

261

00:33:41.150 --> 00:33:51.479

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: So, people can find the courses, they can connect with you if they want to, have a conversation with you, I'm presuming over on your website.

262

00:33:51.480 --> 00:34:11.360

Hope Pedraza: Yeah, you can find me on my website, you can reach out, you can email me, you can… I'm also… I'm on Instagram as well, so if you want to DM me, a lot of people just DM me there, too. And then all my… if you follow my podcast, my contact info is on my podcast, or all the show notes, of course, but yeah, you can always just find my website and, or find me on Substack and get my website there.
