Welcome back to another episode of health hacks. I am Melissa Deally, and let me ask you this, have you ever told yourself everything's fine, yet your body is still feeling like it's bracing for impact. That's because your nervous system doesn't speak logic. It speaks energy, body language, tone and signals. It listens to what you do, not just what you say. So if you're rushing, holding your breath, multitasking or in constant overdrive, your nervous system thinks, uh oh, we're not safe. It thinks we're running away from a lion. And here's a powerful reset you can do anytime, anywhere. Place your hand gently on your heart, take a slow, deep breath in and say to yourself, I'm safe. I've got me. And really feel into those words. Let them land, because your nervous system is always eavesdropping on how you treat yourself.
