Hello everyone and happy Monday.
Speaker AI hope you had a magical weekend.
Speaker AHere I am.
Speaker ADay 8 and also Monday motivation live stream.
Speaker ASo day 8 of the 10 day going live challenge.
Speaker AWelcome.
Speaker AAnd today I'm talking about visualization purely because it's something that I know that I ought to do and I don't always do it, but I do know the transformational result it has, even if I'm just visualizing how my day goes.
Speaker AThe day visualization is something that Brendan Bouchard recommended and I know that when I've tried it, it really makes a difference.
Speaker ANow, over the weekend I had an invitation to, to kind of fulfill a dream that I've had for a while.
Speaker AIt, it brought it so much closer.
Speaker AAnd as part of that invitation, I was asked to step into the end result.
Speaker AAnd it is truly magical.
Speaker AAnd so this morning I wanted to invite you to start your week by choosing three things that you really would like to happen this week and that maybe you've woke up this morning, think, oh my goodness, that's not going to happen, and given yourself all of the excuses why it's not.
Speaker ASo I invite you to actually write down the reasons why it could happen and then let us explore the power of visualization and how you can use it to create the week that you want.
Speaker AWe'll have a go at some practical techniques and as I say, create a list of intentions and being able to step into the moment to achieve them.
Speaker ASo visualization, you know, it isn't something that's just magic and hasn't been scientifically proven.
Speaker AYour unconscious mind often doesn't know the difference between reality and a visualization.
Speaker AThat's why when you think of a lemon, and if you visualize, you have a lemon in your hand and you can smell that freshness and you can see the juice of the lemon, if it's been cut in half and you want to bring that lemon to your mouth.
Speaker AAnd if you sit in that visualization, you'll find you're already salivating, your body is already responding.
Speaker AThat's why listening or reading books, for instance, the theater of your mind, you respond to what's in that novel.
Speaker ASo if you're reading a horror story, you'll find yourself being frightened and you might choose not to read the next section because you've already created that visualization and your whole body's responding to it.
Speaker ASo that's the power of visualization.
Speaker AI mean, one of the other techniques, actually I haven't done this for a while, is how your body responds to visualizations.
Speaker AIf you put your hands together so your palms are flat together and your fingers are aligned and you notice that all of your fingers are aligned, and if you look at that, that middle finger and you know that it's aligned and then you just shake it out and then you're just going to focus on your left hand, that middle finger, and you're going to just say, grow, get longer, get longer, and you're focusing on that middle finger.
Speaker AGet longer, get longer, grow longer, grow longer.
Speaker AI can see you growing longer.
Speaker AI can see you growing longer.
Speaker AThen if you come and do the same thing, put your palms flat together, you'll see there's actually a difference.
Speaker AThat finger has appears to have grown longer.
Speaker ASo you can try that for yourself and shake it out.
Speaker ABut that's the power of your mind and officialization.
Speaker ASo it's much, much more than daydreaming.
Speaker AIt's a powerful tool that can help you manifest your goals and intentions and also step into a state of achievement.
Speaker ASo being able to visualize, for instance, if you're creating a presentation and being able to visualize it going well before you step onto that stage, so you rehearsed it in your mind two or three times, you'll be amazed at what happens and how much easier and in flow your presentation will be.
Speaker ASo visualization is the practice of creating that mental image.
Speaker ABut it's more than just the mental image, it's creating the whole experience if you can step into and kind of live that visualization.
Speaker ASo as I say, your whole body's involved, your emotions, your physiology is involved as well.
Speaker AAnd you can use this to boost your motivation and confidence.
Speaker AAs I say, before you do presentations or before you do anything, but it also kicks into your unconscious mind and helps you enhance your performance and your results throughout the week.
Speaker AIt can help reduce anxiety and increase overall well being when we visualize success, because we're not just imagining it, we're actually programming our minds for achievement.
Speaker ASo let's start by creating a list of things that you want to go well this week.
Speaker AIt could be anything from completing a project at work or spending quality time with your family.
Speaker AOr if you're a healthy running person, it could be having a great run, whatever it is for you, even if it's baking a cake and wanting that cake to come out magically.
Speaker ASo grab a pen and paper, I'll type it out and write down at least three, three things that you want to go well that this week and I invite you once you've got those three things to Close your eyes for a moment and visualize each item on your list as if it's already done.
Speaker ABut actually step into each item.
Speaker AJust watch it like a, a movie that you're in.
Speaker ASo you're looking through your own eyes and you're feeling the feelings, you're hearing the sounds, you're feeling all of the emotions.
Speaker AYou're feeling how your physiolog, how your body will respond.
Speaker AAnd you're living through that kind of mini video of everything going well.
Speaker AAnd you can, you can rehearse this, as I say, a couple of times.
Speaker ASo for a morning routine, you know, you can make your visualizations effective by incorporating it into every day.
Speaker ASo reviewing what you want to go well each day, but also revisiting your list and visualizing everything coming to fruition that maybe hasn't yet.
Speaker AYou might also consider creating affirmations based on the visualizations.
Speaker ABut actually when you make the affirmation, stepping into that state of it's already done that feeling, the physiology, the visualization, so it reinforces the vision and it just reminds you during the day.
Speaker AFor instance, if for instance, you, one of your visions is a presentation that you create a real success, you know this, I am confident the presentation has been well received.
Speaker AAnd you can create that affirmation with seeing it well received with the round of applause, with the standing ovation, with that feeling of glow and positivity and confidence that you get from a job well done.
Speaker AAnd you can use that affirmation to kind of motivate you each time you, those negative thoughts might creep in or that doubt starts springing up.
Speaker AUse that affirmation to help you.
Speaker ASo as we wrap up today's session, remember that visualization is not just about seeing.
Speaker AIt's about feeling.
Speaker AIt's about the physiology.
Speaker AIt's about living it in advance and believing that what you want to do, that your desire is already yours, and approach each day with the mindset that everything on your list as possible create a mini list for each day and know that everything that you want to do within the day is possible.
Speaker ASo I'm thinking about doing a webinar around visualizations purely because I'm going to be doing the whole process myself for the next six months.
Speaker ASo I'm creating a whole goals and visualization for the next six months.
Speaker AAs we're coming towards the end of the year.
Speaker AHow do I Want to see 2020 live going?
Speaker AI'm not doing it for the air because I just think there's so many things happening that the next six months would be quite powerful to focus on.
