Speaker A

Hello everyone and happy Monday.

Speaker A

I hope you had a magical weekend.

Speaker A

Here I am.

Speaker A

Day 8 and also Monday motivation live stream.

Speaker A

So day 8 of the 10 day going live challenge.

Speaker A

Welcome.

Speaker A

And today I'm talking about visualization purely because it's something that I know that I ought to do and I don't always do it, but I do know the transformational result it has, even if I'm just visualizing how my day goes.

Speaker A

The day visualization is something that Brendan Bouchard recommended and I know that when I've tried it, it really makes a difference.

Speaker A

Now, over the weekend I had an invitation to, to kind of fulfill a dream that I've had for a while.

Speaker A

It, it brought it so much closer.

Speaker A

And as part of that invitation, I was asked to step into the end result.

Speaker A

And it is truly magical.

Speaker A

And so this morning I wanted to invite you to start your week by choosing three things that you really would like to happen this week and that maybe you've woke up this morning, think, oh my goodness, that's not going to happen, and given yourself all of the excuses why it's not.

Speaker A

So I invite you to actually write down the reasons why it could happen and then let us explore the power of visualization and how you can use it to create the week that you want.

Speaker A

We'll have a go at some practical techniques and as I say, create a list of intentions and being able to step into the moment to achieve them.

Speaker A

So visualization, you know, it isn't something that's just magic and hasn't been scientifically proven.

Speaker A

Your unconscious mind often doesn't know the difference between reality and a visualization.

Speaker A

That's why when you think of a lemon, and if you visualize, you have a lemon in your hand and you can smell that freshness and you can see the juice of the lemon, if it's been cut in half and you want to bring that lemon to your mouth.

Speaker A

And if you sit in that visualization, you'll find you're already salivating, your body is already responding.

Speaker A

That's why listening or reading books, for instance, the theater of your mind, you respond to what's in that novel.

Speaker A

So if you're reading a horror story, you'll find yourself being frightened and you might choose not to read the next section because you've already created that visualization and your whole body's responding to it.

Speaker A

So that's the power of visualization.

Speaker A

I mean, one of the other techniques, actually I haven't done this for a while, is how your body responds to visualizations.

Speaker A

If you put your hands together so your palms are flat together and your fingers are aligned and you notice that all of your fingers are aligned, and if you look at that, that middle finger and you know that it's aligned and then you just shake it out and then you're just going to focus on your left hand, that middle finger, and you're going to just say, grow, get longer, get longer, and you're focusing on that middle finger.

Speaker A

Get longer, get longer, grow longer, grow longer.

Speaker A

I can see you growing longer.

Speaker A

I can see you growing longer.

Speaker A

Then if you come and do the same thing, put your palms flat together, you'll see there's actually a difference.

Speaker A

That finger has appears to have grown longer.

Speaker A

So you can try that for yourself and shake it out.

Speaker A

But that's the power of your mind and officialization.

Speaker A

So it's much, much more than daydreaming.

Speaker A

It's a powerful tool that can help you manifest your goals and intentions and also step into a state of achievement.

Speaker A

So being able to visualize, for instance, if you're creating a presentation and being able to visualize it going well before you step onto that stage, so you rehearsed it in your mind two or three times, you'll be amazed at what happens and how much easier and in flow your presentation will be.

Speaker A

So visualization is the practice of creating that mental image.

Speaker A

But it's more than just the mental image, it's creating the whole experience if you can step into and kind of live that visualization.

Speaker A

So as I say, your whole body's involved, your emotions, your physiology is involved as well.

Speaker A

And you can use this to boost your motivation and confidence.

Speaker A

As I say, before you do presentations or before you do anything, but it also kicks into your unconscious mind and helps you enhance your performance and your results throughout the week.

Speaker A

It can help reduce anxiety and increase overall well being when we visualize success, because we're not just imagining it, we're actually programming our minds for achievement.

Speaker A

So let's start by creating a list of things that you want to go well this week.

Speaker A

It could be anything from completing a project at work or spending quality time with your family.

Speaker A

Or if you're a healthy running person, it could be having a great run, whatever it is for you, even if it's baking a cake and wanting that cake to come out magically.

Speaker A

So grab a pen and paper, I'll type it out and write down at least three, three things that you want to go well that this week and I invite you once you've got those three things to Close your eyes for a moment and visualize each item on your list as if it's already done.

Speaker A

But actually step into each item.

Speaker A

Just watch it like a, a movie that you're in.

Speaker A

So you're looking through your own eyes and you're feeling the feelings, you're hearing the sounds, you're feeling all of the emotions.

Speaker A

You're feeling how your physiolog, how your body will respond.

Speaker A

And you're living through that kind of mini video of everything going well.

Speaker A

And you can, you can rehearse this, as I say, a couple of times.

Speaker A

So for a morning routine, you know, you can make your visualizations effective by incorporating it into every day.

Speaker A

So reviewing what you want to go well each day, but also revisiting your list and visualizing everything coming to fruition that maybe hasn't yet.

Speaker A

You might also consider creating affirmations based on the visualizations.

Speaker A

But actually when you make the affirmation, stepping into that state of it's already done that feeling, the physiology, the visualization, so it reinforces the vision and it just reminds you during the day.

Speaker A

For instance, if for instance, you, one of your visions is a presentation that you create a real success, you know this, I am confident the presentation has been well received.

Speaker A

And you can create that affirmation with seeing it well received with the round of applause, with the standing ovation, with that feeling of glow and positivity and confidence that you get from a job well done.

Speaker A

And you can use that affirmation to kind of motivate you each time you, those negative thoughts might creep in or that doubt starts springing up.

Speaker A

Use that affirmation to help you.

Speaker A

So as we wrap up today's session, remember that visualization is not just about seeing.

Speaker A

It's about feeling.

Speaker A

It's about the physiology.

Speaker A

It's about living it in advance and believing that what you want to do, that your desire is already yours, and approach each day with the mindset that everything on your list as possible create a mini list for each day and know that everything that you want to do within the day is possible.

Speaker A

So I'm thinking about doing a webinar around visualizations purely because I'm going to be doing the whole process myself for the next six months.

Speaker A

So I'm creating a whole goals and visualization for the next six months.

Speaker A

As we're coming towards the end of the year.

Speaker A

How do I Want to see 2020 live going?

Speaker A

I'm not doing it for the air because I just think there's so many things happening that the next six months would be quite powerful to focus on.

Speaker A

So please do like share this to your lists, make some comments, let me know what you're visualizing and how it's gone, and let's support each other in manifesting our best selves.

Speaker A

And please do like this video, share it, and if possible, subscribe or follow thank you for joining me today.

Speaker A

I hope you feel inspired and ready to take on the week ahead.

Speaker A

And don't forget that tomorrow is Tuesday Tech.

Speaker A

I think I didn't do tech last week after all, but I'm thinking about taking the terror out of tech tomorrow, so tune in for that.

Speaker A

And thank you so much for watching to the end and have a magnificent Monday with all your goals coming true.

Speaker A
