Theme Song!]

Chelsey Donn:

hello,

Trey Gerrald:

Well, hello, Chelsey and hello listeners.

Trey Gerrald:

And welcome to Review That Review the podcast dedicated to reviewing.

Chelsey Donn:

nice mustache.

Chelsey Donn:

We're just like Siskel and Ebert only instead of reviewing cinematic, masterpieces,

Chelsey Donn:

Review!.

Trey Gerrald:

Thank you.

Trey Gerrald:

That's Chelsey Donn.

Chelsey Donn:

And that's Trey Gerrald.

Trey Gerrald:

And together we are.

VOICEOVER:

The Review Queens.

Trey Gerrald:

In case you're wondering, I just pulled up a sticker mustache than

Trey Gerrald:

How are you?

Trey Gerrald:

Chelsey goose?

Chelsey Donn:

Oh, my God.

Chelsey Donn:

I'm good.

Chelsey Donn:

I got to say a little bit exhausted.

Chelsey Donn:

A friend's birthday occurred yesterday, and that's a weird way of saying at a

Chelsey Donn:

And we went to the Renaissance fair, which has never been on my personal

Trey Gerrald:

I've never been to a Ren fair.

Chelsey Donn:

I had never been either.

Chelsey Donn:

I got, it was better than I thought it was going to be.

Chelsey Donn:

Like, I, I have a lot of anxiety and crowds.

Trey Gerrald:

you have to dress up?

Chelsey Donn:

Well, that's the other thing.

Chelsey Donn:

So at first I was invited to go to this birthday thing.

Chelsey Donn:

Of course I was going to go, it's a very good friend.

Chelsey Donn:

And I was like, well, I'm not going to dress up because I don't want to like masquerade

Chelsey Donn:

And she was like, you're going to look weird.

Chelsey Donn:

Like you needed.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

And so I was like, ah, I guess I have to dress up.

Chelsey Donn:

And then I had to buy a costume.

Trey Gerrald:

you have pictures?

Chelsey Donn:

And like, I also, like, I don't like to do any of these rights.

Chelsey Donn:

So I was literally the photographer the entire time I like looked really cute and there were

Trey Gerrald:

I want to see, where did you just buy on Amazon or something?

Chelsey Donn:

I, I think I looked really, cause at first I was going to be a Viking

Chelsey Donn:

Fair.

Chelsey Donn:

I should like try a little bit.

Chelsey Donn:

So I was like a fairy, like with a flower crown.

Chelsey Donn:

It was

Trey Gerrald:

Kim?

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

I pulled it off and it was a lot more fun and a lot less crowded

Chelsey Donn:

Nonetheless, I am going to have a complaint about it later, but tell me a little bit while I find

Trey Gerrald:

That's a great question.

Trey Gerrald:

I've had a good week.

Trey Gerrald:

You know, things are chugging along.

Trey Gerrald:

I'm recuperating from having my sister and her husband and her two

Trey Gerrald:

I don't know.

Trey Gerrald:

if I mentioned, but my nephew Elliott, he got sick and so they had to take him to the emergency room.

Trey Gerrald:

And that that was a little sad because we didn't get to do a bunch of stuff that we

Trey Gerrald:

I did show him my thought of the podcast because we introduced him to

Chelsey Donn:

How'd he never seen it before.

Trey Gerrald:

No.

Trey Gerrald:

And he really giggled and loved.

Trey Gerrald:

I don't know if you remember in the beginning there was like a baker That

Chelsey Donn:

That sounds right.

Trey Gerrald:

it's almost falling the whole number and he thought that.

Trey Gerrald:

was so funny, but, um, yeah, so we're just recuperating and um, everyone else, all

Chelsey Donn:

Thank

Trey Gerrald:

yeah, I spent a good.

Trey Gerrald:

week.

Trey Gerrald:

Did you find your Ren fair pick?

Trey Gerrald:

Ooh, cute.

Trey Gerrald:

Yes.

Trey Gerrald:

I love it.

Trey Gerrald:

I love the crown

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

I mean, I had to wear a crown in honor of the queen dumb.

Trey Gerrald:

You look very tan.

Chelsey Donn:

I was Tang.

Chelsey Donn:

I've been getting T I mean It's so it was very sunny.

Trey Gerrald:

That's my first thought is like Turkey legs and then getting sunburned.

Trey Gerrald:

that's my of a rent fair.

Chelsey Donn:

that's accurate.

Trey Gerrald:

Well it good.

Trey Gerrald:

Wait.

Trey Gerrald:

So did you say that this might lead you into needing.

VOICEOVER:

Lodge A Complaint.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah, new location, new complaint, or really like new

Chelsey Donn:

So, you know, when you go to a line and there's like a congregation of people that are in

Trey Gerrald:

God.

Chelsey Donn:

Why are you standing there?

Chelsey Donn:

Like you.

Chelsey Donn:

Create traffic.

Chelsey Donn:

It doesn't make any sense out of all the places to stand.

Chelsey Donn:

Why are you choosing with your group to stand in line and then like a half an hour

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah, you are.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

You are in line.

Trey Gerrald:

That does happen all the time.

Chelsey Donn:

What is that?

Chelsey Donn:

What is it?

Trey Gerrald:

I guess it's a lack of awareness.

Chelsey Donn:

awareness.

Trey Gerrald:

that's what it is.

Chelsey Donn:

wow.

Chelsey Donn:

Look around.

Chelsey Donn:

Notice where you are.

Trey Gerrald:

I feel like there'd be a higher level of.

Trey Gerrald:

Cognition right.

Trey Gerrald:

now after COVID that like, if you're at an event with a lot of people and you're near a lot of

Trey Gerrald:

Oh, cause they're in a line.

Trey Gerrald:

So like, if I'm in a clump with people that were not in line, I would want to make sure

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah, not everybody and not if you're on, you're probably like six, I don't know.

Chelsey Donn:

Kettle of me.

Trey Gerrald:

Hey,

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

Anyway, meta is actually not bad.

Chelsey Donn:

I am not a beer person and it tastes like a very sweet beer, but like not enough, like beer to

Chelsey Donn:

He has to beer.

Chelsey Donn:

It's more like a cider, I guess, like sweet alcoholic cider.

Chelsey Donn:

And the one that I got was like blueberry lemonade.

Chelsey Donn:

So it was about as like, Mike's hard lemonade as you get for me, it, you know,

Trey Gerrald:

Isn't there something in the Harry Potter world about me,

Trey Gerrald:

butter.

Trey Gerrald:

Oh, I thought there was something with the word meat, but maybe not.

Trey Gerrald:

But yeah, I feel like that was like a thing everyone was very into, well,

Trey Gerrald:

I have been on both sides of this complaint, unfortunately.

Trey Gerrald:

This is sort of a spinoff here, but this happens in Manhattan when you're like

Trey Gerrald:

And you're all like saying your Jewish goodbyes and at a street corner and it's just like,

Trey Gerrald:

And so like incoming walking traffic can't get up.

Trey Gerrald:

Like that gives me so much agita, but it is like the lack of awareness when you're

Chelsey Donn:

and it congested.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

Well, I hear that.

Trey Gerrald:

I'm sorry.

Trey Gerrald:

Unfortunately, that problem doesn't go away.

Trey Gerrald:

Once you enter, what are we in the, When you leave the Renaissance era

Chelsey Donn:

When you leave the Renaissance and new enter the 21st century.

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah, unfortunately,

Chelsey Donn:

I know it exists everywhere.

Trey Gerrald:

um,

Chelsey Donn:

What's your complaint tray with that in mind.

Trey Gerrald:

So this has been on my list for a while, and it always felt a little weird, but I'm

Trey Gerrald:

Have you ever noticed that it seems that like people instantly forget manners or

Trey Gerrald:

You know, the horrors of getting a wooden key from a gas station and having to open the bathroom.

Trey Gerrald:

That's going to be a horse in also at an airport before, like the attendant has gotten

Trey Gerrald:

And they just like, completely forget how to be a human.

Trey Gerrald:

Like, why is, why are they so disrespected?

Trey Gerrald:

You would not do that in your own house.

Trey Gerrald:

I'm assuming.

Chelsey Donn:

I was going to say that might be an assumption.

Chelsey Donn:

Like I think there are people that regardless of the bathroom location, whether it be their

Chelsey Donn:

I can't imagine that someone who is very respectful at home and is putting down the toilet

Chelsey Donn:

I don't know, maybe either way.

Chelsey Donn:

I feel you cause.

Chelsey Donn:

It's such a crap shoot, especially at like a gas station bathroom.

Chelsey Donn:

In fact, when I go to a gas station bathroom and it's clean, I'm like, oh my God, this is amazing.

Trey Gerrald:

It's like you look around like, am I on candid camera?

Chelsey Donn:

Exactly.

Trey Gerrald:

But I'm not even talking about like disgusting bodily functions.

Trey Gerrald:

I'm talking about like, just a disarray of

Chelsey Donn:

Oh, toilet paper,

Chelsey Donn:

paper

Trey Gerrald:

towels.

Trey Gerrald:

not in the right spot.

Trey Gerrald:

countertop being soaking wet.

Trey Gerrald:

It's like, people like just don't any.

Trey Gerrald:

And I also recognize like you and turn it's disgusting.

Trey Gerrald:

So it's like, well, I'm not going to assume the responsibility of cleaning this.

Trey Gerrald:

So like, maybe that adds to it.

Chelsey Donn:

have it's so gross though.

Chelsey Donn:

Like I had like taken a paper towel, like a paper towels to like lift up other people's

Chelsey Donn:

that.

Trey Gerrald:

That is a, that is like such A'.

Trey Gerrald:

common thought of mine.

Trey Gerrald:

Yes.

Trey Gerrald:

Anyway, that is my complaint.

Chelsey Donn:

A'.

Chelsey Donn:

I agree.

Trey Gerrald:

I think like, just why, why, why can't we all just

Chelsey Donn:

Can you imagine if there was like a tiny little corner in like the gas

Chelsey Donn:

I know you cause you you've complained about the bathroom.

Chelsey Donn:

It doesn't have before...

VOICEOVER:

Listener Voicemail.

Trey Gerrald:

Oh, Chelsey

Chelsey Donn:

one I'm so excited.

Chelsey Donn:

Oh my God.

Chelsey Donn:

This is my favorite.

Chelsey Donn:

You guys.

Chelsey Donn:

Okay.

Chelsey Donn:

What do we have?

Chelsey Donn:

What do we have?

Trey Gerrald:

All right.

Trey Gerrald:

So this is a listener voicemail from a listener named Jessica.

Chelsey Donn:

Okay.

VOICEOVER:

Hey Queens.

VOICEOVER:

My name is Jessica and I just had a Lodge this complaint.

VOICEOVER:

As soon as it came to my head, I have to Lodge A Complaint.

VOICEOVER:

Everything that needs to be charged.

VOICEOVER:

Are you with me?

VOICEOVER:

Like, okay.

VOICEOVER:

We've got the normal cell phones.

VOICEOVER:

Laptops.

VOICEOVER:

Cool.

VOICEOVER:

No problem.

VOICEOVER:

Okay.

VOICEOVER:

Then we got E readers, Fitbits watches, remote AirPods, headphones, clocks, speakers,

VOICEOVER:

I feel like I'm charging something constantly all over my house.

VOICEOVER:

I don't have a counter service available to cook on for all of the things charging and

VOICEOVER:

That's That's my complaint.

VOICEOVER:

I hope you guys are having a great day.

VOICEOVER:

Bye.

Chelsey Donn:

God.

Chelsey Donn:

I love Jessica.

Chelsey Donn:

Jessica be my friend.

Chelsey Donn:

I don't even know who you are, Jessica, but I want to be

Trey Gerrald:

Jessica.

Trey Gerrald:

Wait, that's such a wait.

Trey Gerrald:

This whole charging situation totally shows up for me when I'm traveling.

Trey Gerrald:

And it just happened when I went to LA with you, because I have an apple watch.

Trey Gerrald:

I have an iPad, I have an iPhone and they all have different cords.

Trey Gerrald:

So it's like, I'm always

Trey Gerrald:

stressing out.

Chelsey Donn:

It's terrible.

Chelsey Donn:

We got to figure this out.

Chelsey Donn:

I'm so with you, Jessica, if there's one thing that I hate in the like, modern era that I'm

Chelsey Donn:

It's wires, wires, any kind things dangling off of things.

Chelsey Donn:

Like here's my opinion about it.

Chelsey Donn:

We have wifi.

Chelsey Donn:

What are we going to have wifi that also charges things.

Chelsey Donn:

if we do, will it cause cancer that's.

Trey Gerrald:

not going to say but I think that's exactly what it will.

Trey Gerrald:

I mean, we're probably getting it anyway from the wifi.

Chelsey Donn:

I know.

Chelsey Donn:

When do you think we'll get Do you think we'll get there like soon where we're wirelessly charging?

Chelsey Donn:

Like through literally just a signal,

Trey Gerrald:

reason I think we want is because I think apple makes too much money off of people

Chelsey Donn:

maybe those, no, I don't think it is unfortunately, but maybe they'll sell like a port

Chelsey Donn:

A hub.

Trey Gerrald:

I would buy that.

Chelsey Donn:

I would buy

Trey Gerrald:

but on this conversation, one of my biggest pet peeves, and maybe I should

Chelsey Donn:

have my laptop right now, stressing me

Trey Gerrald:

I hate it.

Trey Gerrald:

I Hate it.

Trey Gerrald:

There's courts everywhere.

Trey Gerrald:

Anyway.

Trey Gerrald:

Also get Jessica's point here because it's like everything that we utilize needs to

Chelsey Donn:

That's the worst.

Trey Gerrald:

I'm sorry.

Chelsey Donn:

I'm angry for you, Jessica.

Chelsey Donn:

Well, thank you for bringing this up.

Chelsey Donn:

Cause this was a great complaint that I hadn't even thought of, but at the

Chelsey Donn:

Agreed daily.

Chelsey Donn:

I roll my eyes at the courts.

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah, I think this is, Um, I think this is my college roommate, Jessica.

Trey Gerrald:

I have a guest.

Trey Gerrald:

If it is high, if it's not, Hey.

Chelsey Donn:

Let's be friends.

Trey Gerrald:

Thank you Jessica for calling in.

Trey Gerrald:

We appreciate that.

Trey Gerrald:

If you have a complaint that you want to Lodge, if you have a different opinion about one of our

Chelsey Donn:

That's right.

Chelsey Donn:

And now that we've heard our complaints and Jessica's complaints, do you think we should hear

Trey Gerrald:

I would love nothing more.

Chelsey Donn:

I would love it too.

Chelsey Donn:

So as you know, we are your trustee, Review!

Chelsey Donn:

Queens.

Chelsey Donn:

We each bring in a review from the internet that we feel needs to be inspected.

Trey Gerrald:

read you the Review!

Trey Gerrald:

break it down and rate the impact of the review on a scale from zero to five crowns.

Trey Gerrald:

It's a very Regal process That we call

VOICEOVER:

Assess That Kvetch

Chelsey Donn:

And Trey, I believe you are first today, queen, are you ready?

Trey Gerrald:

I'm ready.

Trey Gerrald:

Let's do it.

Chelsey Donn:

Let's do it.

VOICEOVER:

Review That Review.

Trey Gerrald:

All right today, I'm going to share a five-star review.

Trey Gerrald:

Uh,

Chelsey Donn:

God.

Chelsey Donn:

Love it.

Chelsey Donn:

Okay, great.

Chelsey Donn:

Let's do it.

Trey Gerrald:

so this is from amazon.com.

Trey Gerrald:

Have you ever heard of it?

Chelsey Donn:

Um, I believe a M a Z O N, right?

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah, it's like the Amazon rainforest.

Chelsey Donn:

Okay.

Chelsey Donn:

Yes, heard of it.

Trey Gerrald:

So, okay.

Trey Gerrald:

So this is, um, a five-star review from Stephen R from amazon.com for Kaboom scrub free

Chelsey Donn:

I feel like this is like exposure therapy with all these long titles,

Chelsey Donn:

I'm okay.

Chelsey Donn:

I'm okay.

Trey Gerrald:

But just to clarify here, before we get into the Review!.

Trey Gerrald:

So I watched a video on this.

Trey Gerrald:

It is a, uh, toilet bowl system that you hook internally inside of the toilet bowl, so that

Trey Gerrald:

It's not like dropping a little tab or scrubbing.

Chelsey Donn:

Right.

Chelsey Donn:

It's like a built-in device, but it like every time you flush or whatever it is it yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

Okay.

Trey Gerrald:

I guess you knew what that was.

Chelsey Donn:

I've gone down many rabbit hole with this and always have

Trey Gerrald:

well maybe Steven, art's going to sway you.

Trey Gerrald:

I have a feeling.

Trey Gerrald:

Okay.

Trey Gerrald:

here we go.

Trey Gerrald:

Steven, ours Review!

Trey Gerrald:

subject as this actually works.

Trey Gerrald:

I live on long island on the border of NYC parentheses, born and raised in NYC.

Trey Gerrald:

And while the water here is delicious.

Trey Gerrald:

It makes pizza and bagels tastes so amazingly yummy, but it also leaves

Trey Gerrald:

If I don't constantly clean the toilet balls in my home, it will look

Trey Gerrald:

I read the product's claim and all their reviews, which honestly left me with very

Trey Gerrald:

I had to give it a shot, no tools and all installed and only five

Trey Gerrald:

And all I can say.

Trey Gerrald:

Quote.

Trey Gerrald:

Wow, fuck.

Trey Gerrald:

Get about it.

Trey Gerrald:

Dust stuff works.

Trey Gerrald:

Who'd a thunk.

Trey Gerrald:

Get and quotes parentheses.

Trey Gerrald:

That's the new Yaka and me talking.

Chelsey Donn:

God.

Trey Gerrald:

By now I would have to spray scrub and thoroughly cleaned the bowls

Trey Gerrald:

Not only is the bowl shiny clean, but it has that freshly cleaned smell.

Trey Gerrald:

Two, one more time, parentheses new Yaka to use people, not for

Trey Gerrald:

If yo want to clean bowl and you's guys are looking at.

Trey Gerrald:

Alda stuff, folk get about it by dis stuff because it works real good.

Trey Gerrald:

And cause I knows that use knows dat.

Trey Gerrald:

I knows that dis works real good, like, and you'll knows.

Trey Gerrald:

Two, if you's get some, and that's exactly why I recommend this stuff

Trey Gerrald:

Dear Two, parentheses.

Trey Gerrald:

LOL.

Trey Gerrald:

I hope enough of you have either watched enough movies that take place in New York.

Trey Gerrald:

Listen to, to Joey on friends or.

Trey Gerrald:

A few laughs.

Trey Gerrald:

We honestly only talk like that when we are talking to friends or other new Yorkers

Trey Gerrald:

Without anyone putting a gun to your head, to help you decide or not smiley face emoji smiley face.

Trey Gerrald:

Smiley face emoji and parentheses period, seriously.

Trey Gerrald:

And without the jokes, I was pleasantly surprised to see how well this works,

Trey Gerrald:

What an incredible time-saver not to mention the energy, sweat, and that gross feeling.

Trey Gerrald:

Whenever you clean your toilets, parentheses, leaving you to scrub one

Trey Gerrald:

I wouldn't have believed how well this does without testing it for myself.

Trey Gerrald:

And now I honestly can't say that this stuff really cleans and truly works exactly

Chelsey Donn:

All right.

Chelsey Donn:

So like.

Chelsey Donn:

Stephen R has given us a three for one, I think there were at least

Chelsey Donn:

I believe that there was the initial top Review!

Chelsey Donn:

then there is that middle new Yorker exclusive Review!

Chelsey Donn:

and then there was a final review at the end.

Chelsey Donn:

So any one of those three isolated probably could have been a Review!

Chelsey Donn:

Steven decided to give us all three.

Chelsey Donn:

I thought he's he was a little bit.

Chelsey Donn:

Spend a little bit too long at the fair with the whole new Yorker bet.

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah, right.

Chelsey Donn:

We could have dabbled in it and it would have been okay.

Chelsey Donn:

We hit it a little too hard, I think.

Trey Gerrald:

I guess so much of the timing it's about when to let go.

Chelsey Donn:

Exactly, exactly.

Chelsey Donn:

I mean, we really got Kaboom over the head.

Trey Gerrald:

to us.

Trey Gerrald:

I really went on a journey with us because I was sort of like, Hey, this is not funny.

Trey Gerrald:

But then the parents statical about like, LOL, I hope enough of you like

Trey Gerrald:

Like, then I was sort of like, oh, they're just like, I'm sweet, probably older

Chelsey Donn:

I agree.

Chelsey Donn:

I like that part of it.

Chelsey Donn:

I like, I always will applaud self-awareness.

Chelsey Donn:

Yes.

Trey Gerrald:

sort of hooked me back, but then you're Right, Then we did go

Trey Gerrald:

Well, okay.

Trey Gerrald:

So we, before we started this, you said you've gone down a rabbit hole of these

Trey Gerrald:

So would this, do you think that you would trust Stephen R.

Chelsey Donn:

I think Stephen R is like one of the most promising reviews

Chelsey Donn:

I usually end up like, not going forward because there's a lot of

Chelsey Donn:

And so I get nervous about that.

Chelsey Donn:

Cause especially like I'm in a rental and it's an older house.

Chelsey Donn:

I usually get to the point where I read, if you reviews that mentioned the

Chelsey Donn:

Steven didn't mention anything about the pipes though,

Trey Gerrald:

But they do mention that they've read like good reviews and bad reviews.

Trey Gerrald:

And so they were conflicted, but Yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

they don't about the pipe dam.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

So I am assuming that there was none to that's good.

Trey Gerrald:

I've literally never heard of such a product in my life.

Chelsey Donn:

Oh, really?

Trey Gerrald:

I had to watch a video cause I was like, what are they, what is this?

Chelsey Donn:

really liked that.

Chelsey Donn:

They mentioned the no tools thing and that it was easy to install.

Trey Gerrald:

Um, I can't tell if this is like unique information.

Trey Gerrald:

I do think that there's value here and here.

Trey Gerrald:

That Stephen R was also on the fence and then decided to like, go for it.

Trey Gerrald:

And they're outrageously impressed so much so that they're in such a good

Chelsey Donn:

right.

Chelsey Donn:

Right now that I've saved all this time, cleaning my toilet.

Chelsey Donn:

Let me work on my staff.

Trey Gerrald:

But now I'm not sure if that, like, I don't know how to tell

Chelsey Donn:

I don't think it's a fluke.

Chelsey Donn:

I mean, I think the Kaboom generally is like a pretty good product,

Trey Gerrald:

I do think of Kaboom as being a little less toxic for some, I don't know why I'm

Trey Gerrald:

I just think of it as being a little more.

Trey Gerrald:

Light.

Trey Gerrald:

I don't know what that's even about, but I feel like it doesn't seem as intense as Clorox,

Trey Gerrald:

So I feel like it could mess up your pipes, but I don't know anything about that.

Chelsey Donn:

right?

Trey Gerrald:

The spelling grammar here was outrageous because they were spelling a dialect.

Trey Gerrald:

So that was like really challenging and the whole tirade and the new, any new Yorker, Y

Trey Gerrald:

Also the most challenging for me.

Trey Gerrald:

Like, I've read, forget about it before as one word.

Trey Gerrald:

They wrote H w O D da Huda Huda Huda.

Chelsey Donn:

Who'd a thunk it

Trey Gerrald:

I mean, it was like, I had to like stop for a second to like read it

Trey Gerrald:

And he always in the New York accent, dialect spelling it's works.

Trey Gerrald:

W E R K S but in the gay community, that's like, why park?

Trey Gerrald:

Oh, there were some random misspellings here and there, but it's definitely,

Trey Gerrald:

Um, focused on here with the spelling.

Trey Gerrald:

Cause I've I've, this is a first for me with reviews where they're doing

Chelsey Donn:

that's an interesting question then, because do you feel that, that you read this

Chelsey Donn:

Did you feel like you were fishing for the information because of this device?

Trey Gerrald:

I just thought it was so weird.

Trey Gerrald:

Like, I want to know more about Steven, like why what's going on,

Chelsey Donn:

right.

Trey Gerrald:

I didn't feel like I was fishing because you pointed out it's like

Trey Gerrald:

It just seems like so unnecessary and random.

Chelsey Donn:

I agree.

Chelsey Donn:

The only thing that I'm thinking, going through my notes as I'm like, okay, what were the key

Chelsey Donn:

If I was someone that was looking for a product, I would want to know this too.

Chelsey Donn:

And it is a little hard for me to find.

Chelsey Donn:

I feel like they are.

Chelsey Donn:

The water stands on the toilet being embarrassing, because like I dealt, when

Chelsey Donn:

Like I cannot be the person with the toilet, with the stains in it.

Chelsey Donn:

So I liked that.

Chelsey Donn:

They mentioned.

Chelsey Donn:

The stains and that the stain situation seemed to be resolved.

Chelsey Donn:

And they mentioned where they were.

Chelsey Donn:

Cause there is like a difference of your water based on location.

Chelsey Donn:

So I feel like that was good.

Chelsey Donn:

Obviously.

Chelsey Donn:

I said the no tools thing was good that it, that there is a fresh, clean

Chelsey Donn:

So I do feel like there's a lot of really good information here.

Chelsey Donn:

And I wonder again, if we were just too long of the fair.

Chelsey Donn:

And we missed an opportunity to really highlight those points.

Chelsey Donn:

Cause I did lose track a little bit.

Trey Gerrald:

Yes.

Trey Gerrald:

well, that is what's interesting.

Trey Gerrald:

Cause when you read this Review!

Trey Gerrald:

it is a sandwich because the subject is, this actually works.

Trey Gerrald:

And then the last statement as five stars and two thumbs up two thumbs up emojis that

Trey Gerrald:

Like I did.

Trey Gerrald:

I did get very excited when I saw this to read it on the show.

Chelsey Donn:

It's a fun Review!

Chelsey Donn:

for sure.

Trey Gerrald:

And I think the impact here is that I would want to buy it.

Trey Gerrald:

Like it makes me think like, oh, but now I'm scared because of the piping situation,

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah, I think I would trust Steven.

Chelsey Donn:

The one thing that again, like maybe personal bias, but I like, obviously I love in New York

Chelsey Donn:

I'm thinking about a

Trey Gerrald:

toilet.

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

When I first read it, I thought the stains and the toilet.

Trey Gerrald:

work

Chelsey Donn:

I know, I know.

Chelsey Donn:

I know.

Chelsey Donn:

All right.

Chelsey Donn:

I think I have enough information to count.

Chelsey Donn:

Steven.

Chelsey Donn:

How about you?

Trey Gerrald:

Sam.

Trey Gerrald:

All right.

Trey Gerrald:

So Chelsey and I each have our own set of zero to five crown cards and an effort to

Trey Gerrald:

We will simultaneously reveal our rating.

VOICEOVER:

The Queens are Tabulating.

VOICEOVER:

The school.

Chelsey Donn:

Okay.

Chelsey Donn:

I'm wanting a three crowns.

Chelsey Donn:

Trey is holding up four crowns.

Chelsey Donn:

I did three for Steven because I felt like, again, I've mentioned this, that I won't get

Chelsey Donn:

Ironically, we went on a little bit long and the Review!, I lost some of the

Chelsey Donn:

Taking it into consideration as to whether or not to buy the product.

Chelsey Donn:

But I don't know how effective Stephens Review!

Chelsey Donn:

is going to be for people to pull the trigger on this product, or if he's going to lose some

Chelsey Donn:

So that was why I went with three crowns.

Chelsey Donn:

How about you try why'd you go with four crowns for Steven?

Trey Gerrald:

I just did four cause I appreciated the jest.

Trey Gerrald:

And also once I thought that the humor was going on too long, I appreciated the like reality.

Trey Gerrald:

Like, I hope least gave you a smile.

Trey Gerrald:

And like, if we're talking about cleaning a toilet, I don't think of that as fun.

Trey Gerrald:

And so I appreciated that there was a sense of fun within this Review!

Trey Gerrald:

but ultimately I think Steven has sold me.

Trey Gerrald:

I want to try this very curious.

Trey Gerrald:

So that's why I went with for

Chelsey Donn:

Good job, Steven.

Chelsey Donn:

Are you sold a Kaboom?

Trey Gerrald:

good germ.

Chelsey Donn:

Good germ.

Chelsey Donn:

Steven R

Trey Gerrald:

All right.

Trey Gerrald:

Well, we'll take a quick break.

Trey Gerrald:

And when we come back, we can get into Chelsey's Review!.

Chelsey Donn:

cannot wait.

VOICEOVER:

your crown.

VOICEOVER:

We'll be right back.

Trey Gerrald:

Chelsey it's game time.

Trey Gerrald:

How about you?

Trey Gerrald:

And I get strapped into this Meryl-Go-Round.

Trey Gerrald:

Woo.

VOICEOVER:

Icon.

VOICEOVER:

most of the day is I feel like 'I can't!' That's with an,.

VOICEOVER:

A'..

Chelsey Donn:

Oh, Meryl, Trey.

Chelsey Donn:

And I have each picked a rotten scathing, pithy One-Star-Zinger.

Chelsey Donn:

And with 30 seconds on the clock, we'll each try to recite ours zinger

Trey Gerrald:

Just like queen Merrill, who does it all.

Chelsey Donn:

the clock runs out.

Trey Gerrald:

Okey-doke Chelsey goose.

Trey Gerrald:

What is your zinger?

Chelsey Donn:

All right.

Chelsey Donn:

So you'll notice a theme of my reviews today.

Chelsey Donn:

So my zinger is for a scented Turkey leg, dog, chew toy.

Trey Gerrald:

Oh, I was like, why?

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah, it's leaps and bounds.

Chelsey Donn:

Chicken scented, Turkey leg, dog chew toy.

Chelsey Donn:

Large.

Chelsey Donn:

This review is written by Mary with an eye 21.

Chelsey Donn:

The subject is not for strong chore.

Chelsey Donn:

Right.

Chelsey Donn:

So better get super chewers.

Chelsey Donn:

The Review!

Chelsey Donn:

is unfortunately, my dog broke off a piece in two minute.

Trey Gerrald:

Uh, well that defeats the whole purpose.

Trey Gerrald:

All right.

Trey Gerrald:

Well, I'm going to strap you in to Clifford, the big red dog.

Chelsey Donn:

Oh my God.

Chelsey Donn:

I love Clifford.

Trey Gerrald:

Are you ready

Chelsey Donn:

I'm ready.

Chelsey Donn:

I'm ready.

Trey Gerrald:

here?

Trey Gerrald:

We.

VOICEOVER:

Three, Two, One, GO!.

Trey Gerrald:

Soap opera

Chelsey Donn:

my dog broke in two minutes.

Trey Gerrald:

Chelsey Donn:

Unfortunately, my dog, my dog minutes.

Trey Gerrald:

slapstick.

Trey Gerrald:

Film noir.

Chelsey Donn:

Unfortunately, my dog broke off.

Trey Gerrald:

Wow.

Trey Gerrald:

You got six diva.

Chelsey Donn:

I'm tired.

Chelsey Donn:

That was, uh, I was racing to the finish on that one.

Chelsey Donn:

All right,

Trey Gerrald:

That was good.

Chelsey Donn:

you.

Chelsey Donn:

Where is your zinger from today?

Trey Gerrald:

Today.

Trey Gerrald:

I have a zinger from Google.

Trey Gerrald:

This is for the Exxon gas station near my house.

Trey Gerrald:

And this is written by.

Chelsey Donn:

Been

Trey Gerrald:

Yes.

Trey Gerrald:

And this is written by Stephen spelled with a pH Steven.

Trey Gerrald:

an, and their One-Star-Zinger as what?

Trey Gerrald:

A gas.

Chelsey Donn:

that Paul sicker?

Chelsey Donn:

all

Trey Gerrald:

And of course they're an elite reviewer

Chelsey Donn:

All right.

Chelsey Donn:

So I'm going to stop you in obviously to like a gas pump.

Chelsey Donn:

Okay.

Trey Gerrald:

Okay.

Trey Gerrald:

I'm ready.

Chelsey Donn:

Rod, that gas pump.

Chelsey Donn:

Are you ready?

Chelsey Donn:

Haul?

VOICEOVER:

Three, Two, One, GO!.

Trey Gerrald:

What guy,

Chelsey Donn:

Trey Gerrald:

Chelsey Donn:

Trey Gerrald:

Chelsey Donn:

Trey Gerrald:

Chelsey Donn:

Trey Gerrald:

Chelsey Donn:

Trey Gerrald:

VOICEOVER:

Trey Gerrald:

Chelsey Donn:

you have a good job.

Chelsey Donn:

Try.

Chelsey Donn:

Good jerk.

VOICEOVER:

Review That Review.

Trey Gerrald:

Oh, all right.

Trey Gerrald:

We are back from that game break.

Trey Gerrald:

And now Chelsey, it's your turn.

Trey Gerrald:

Why don't you share with us?

Trey Gerrald:

What is your Review!

Trey Gerrald:

this week?

Chelsey Donn:

am I?

Chelsey Donn:

Goodness.

Chelsey Donn:

All right.

Chelsey Donn:

I don't know why I decided to go with that.

Chelsey Donn:

I don't know why I decided to go Southern.

Chelsey Donn:

All right.

Chelsey Donn:

So this is for the very Renaissance fair that I attended.

Chelsey Donn:

It is the original Renaissance pleasure bear.

Chelsey Donn:

It's in.

Chelsey Donn:

Irwindale California.

Chelsey Donn:

This is a one-star review by Laura are on Yelp and it was only written one day ago.

Chelsey Donn:

So fresh.

Chelsey Donn:

Review!

Chelsey Donn:

hot off the presses.

Chelsey Donn:

Here we go.

Chelsey Donn:

Never made it in.

Chelsey Donn:

We were in within a mile of the entrance after an hour drive from where we live, we

Chelsey Donn:

Our car never moved.

Chelsey Donn:

We had bought tickets online, but didn't even make it into the festival.

Chelsey Donn:

Incredibly disappointing, a huge waste of time and very expensive gas to get there for nothing.

Chelsey Donn:

I will be contacting them for a refund.

Chelsey Donn:

We were there at 9:00 AM, so there should have been no problem getting.

Chelsey Donn:

Hundreds of cars were lined up and many people just like us turned out of line and left.

Chelsey Donn:

We lived in Houston, Texas area for 16 years and visited the Ren Fest every year.

Chelsey Donn:

The one in Houston, Texas is said to be the biggest and arguably the best

Chelsey Donn:

We never had a single issue.

Chelsey Donn:

Parking you just pay and are waved into the spots.

Chelsey Donn:

It's very fast and efficient in Texas.

Chelsey Donn:

Your vendors and performers missed out on a lot of customers in Los Angeles

Chelsey Donn:

Either got the parking running better or relocate the fair to a place with better accessibility.

Chelsey Donn:

I would tell everyone, I know at this point to not bother even trying to go to the Los

Trey Gerrald:

Okay.

Trey Gerrald:

I have a lot of questions

Chelsey Donn:

Okay.

Trey Gerrald:

Okay.

Trey Gerrald:

What time does the fair open?

Chelsey Donn:

So they did their due diligence.

Chelsey Donn:

They got there on time.

Chelsey Donn:

It opens, I want to say, like, they tell you to get there at nine, if you want to get parking.

Chelsey Donn:

So they did get there on time, but there is a little bit of a funny story with

Trey Gerrald:

Got a towel.

Chelsey Donn:

there was a warning about the parking situation, because

Chelsey Donn:

I'd taken up residence in a certain portion of the parking.

Chelsey Donn:

So they had to rope things off in order to accommodate the owls.

Chelsey Donn:

So the parking situation was much worse than it usually is.

Chelsey Donn:

So that's why we actually opted to Uber there.

Chelsey Donn:

So I'm not at all surprised that this happened, but what is frustrating as.

Chelsey Donn:

Email or, or wherever.

Chelsey Donn:

Jimmy, my friend's fiance saw the notice that told us about this.

Chelsey Donn:

It said, if you want to park get there before 9:30 AM.

Chelsey Donn:

So Laura did do what they said to do.

Chelsey Donn:

You know what I mean?

Trey Gerrald:

Where is this located?

Chelsey Donn:

It's around a reservoir.

Chelsey Donn:

So there's like a body of water.

Chelsey Donn:

And then it's like open park is the best way I can describe it.

Chelsey Donn:

Like I would imagine that if you're not there during the time of year, when it's the Ren

Trey Gerrald:

And how far from Los Angeles county.

Chelsey Donn:

I think it took us like an hour or so from where my friend lives,

Chelsey Donn:

It's past Pasedena

Trey Gerrald:

Oh okay.

Trey Gerrald:

this is like, this is like a grassy play.

Trey Gerrald:

Like it's not like not in

Chelsey Donn:

no, no, no, no, yeah, no, this is like off in a few.

Chelsey Donn:

Yes, exactly.

Chelsey Donn:

It's like Coachella for people that play Dungeons and dragons.

Trey Gerrald:

Well, okay, well, that's all of this is good information because

Trey Gerrald:

My first thought was, okay, why don't you attempt to go at a different time, but maybe

Trey Gerrald:

And then my other thought was.

Trey Gerrald:

Well, it's hard to compare LA to Houston, because I'm imagining there's more open space in

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah,

Trey Gerrald:

I don't know.

Trey Gerrald:

I've never been there, but this so us an open space.

Trey Gerrald:

So, I mean, I feel like parking, parking is always an issue, especially when I

Trey Gerrald:

So I don't want to say that statement, but like on that thought parking is always an issue.

Trey Gerrald:

And I do think that who is responsible.

Trey Gerrald:

Is whoever is putting on the Ren fair.

Trey Gerrald:

So they like, if there is a

Chelsey Donn:

because if you're selling the tickets, you should be

Chelsey Donn:

You have cut off selling the tickets when you reach the point where

Trey Gerrald:

Or

Chelsey Donn:

Or stagger people,

Trey Gerrald:

that's what I was gonna say, that maybe there wasn't enough knowledge

Trey Gerrald:

to see whatever.

Trey Gerrald:

But like there has to be some sort of structure in place.

Trey Gerrald:

To spread out the wealth throughout.

Trey Gerrald:

Cause how many days was the Ren fair?

Chelsey Donn:

I think it goes on for a little while.

Chelsey Donn:

I'm not exactly sure how long, but F I want to say like a couple of weeks, a few weeks, maybe the

Trey Gerrald:

Oh,

Chelsey Donn:

Like, it's like, it's a thing.

Chelsey Donn:

Well, that's why I'm saying, like, it's interesting that this was written a day ago

Chelsey Donn:

So it does make me wonder, is that.

Chelsey Donn:

Situation specific to this time period.

Chelsey Donn:

Like if, if they had full usage of the entire parking area, would this have been a non issue?

Trey Gerrald:

And they said that they drove like an hour away, but you kind of drove an hour away.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

Well, will you bird?

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

Right?

Trey Gerrald:

Well, I guess my question is like, if they, if Laura actually are, I should say

Trey Gerrald:

because we're open for like 20 days.

Trey Gerrald:

Why don't you just come another day,

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

Or maybe they would give her, there is like a P a F a free, well, the funny thing about the

Trey Gerrald:

Oh God,

Chelsey Donn:

I can do I can't even go there.

Chelsey Donn:

But, so here's the interesting thing to me.

Chelsey Donn:

Normally, if I read a review and it's like, I didn't even get to go.

Chelsey Donn:

That's like a non-starter for me.

Trey Gerrald:

What's going to say that.

Chelsey Donn:

But when I was reading this Review!

Chelsey Donn:

I was thinking, especially because I, we did find out in a sort of

Chelsey Donn:

I was thinking, this is really important.

Chelsey Donn:

You know, like how you get there and if you can get there in a reasonable amount of time and

Chelsey Donn:

So that's why I thought there was value here, even though we don't get a review of the actual fair,

Trey Gerrald:

I agree, especially since this is.

Trey Gerrald:

Similar to a Comicon where it's like, people are dressing up, they're forward

Trey Gerrald:

It isn't just a carnival on the side of the road that you just pull over and go to.

Trey Gerrald:

Like, there's a lot of planning.

Trey Gerrald:

There's a whole community around this.

Trey Gerrald:

There's like a safety and feeling in a community that accepts you and like embraces you.

Trey Gerrald:

So like I recognize the disappointment.

Chelsey Donn:

right.

Trey Gerrald:

I do think it is sort of funny to be like this expensive gas, like you chose

Trey Gerrald:

One, the whole, this, it does trigger that thing for me about stop talking about

Trey Gerrald:

Cause you don't live there anymore.

Trey Gerrald:

So like I understand you're comparing this to that, but.

Trey Gerrald:

I don't know.

Trey Gerrald:

I recognize the frustration.

Trey Gerrald:

I think it is valuable for everything that you just said.

Trey Gerrald:

And I believe them.

Trey Gerrald:

I mean, I believe that other cars were turning and going and like, you know,

Trey Gerrald:

Is this common?

Trey Gerrald:

Or I don't know.

Trey Gerrald:

I mean, I feel like it not be a common thing because you have to have park,

Chelsey Donn:

I mean, I think that the, it must have been a common thing.

Chelsey Donn:

We had a really hard time getting out of there, like even just getting an Uber out of there.

Chelsey Donn:

So I think that there was something going on with the parking

Trey Gerrald:

but is that typical for every calendar gear or is that typical for the 2022?

Chelsey Donn:

I think it's typical for this year, but that was also another thing that I was

Chelsey Donn:

cause I thought it would be fun.

Chelsey Donn:

And we could talk about it a little bit more in the after show about.

Chelsey Donn:

Personal Review!

Chelsey Donn:

and experience, um, going to the Ren fair.

Chelsey Donn:

So that was why I was looking for it.

Chelsey Donn:

And as I was looking for an interesting Review!

Chelsey Donn:

and I found some older reviews, I thought that's not really useful because

Chelsey Donn:

So if I was going to go.

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah,

Chelsey Donn:

if I was going to go next year, I feel like the first place I would

Chelsey Donn:

Like.

Chelsey Donn:

I don't know, like, I don't know an old Review!

Chelsey Donn:

for something like this is not useful.

Trey Gerrald:

Well, it's interesting you went there cause I was just thinking

Trey Gerrald:

Who is this Review!

Trey Gerrald:

serving.

Trey Gerrald:

I imagine that people that are going now probably bought tickets a long time ago,

Trey Gerrald:

And you're like, oh, okay.

Trey Gerrald:

Like, let's just see what it's

Chelsey Donn:

I think Uber, Uber, you have to Uber.

Chelsey Donn:

If I read this Review!

Chelsey Donn:

I would just think I cannot drive there.

Chelsey Donn:

The driving there is going to be a nightmare.

Trey Gerrald:

But question,

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

how did the Uber get past the parking line?

Trey Gerrald:

Because there is a different line for just dropping off.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

Wow.

Chelsey Donn:

And then when we left, I mean, it took us forever to get an Uber

Chelsey Donn:

So that was stressful

Trey Gerrald:

you were back in the Renaissance.

Chelsey Donn:

back in the Renaissance.

Chelsey Donn:

And nobody wants you on your phones, but they did come and pick us up right where we were basically

Trey Gerrald:

All right.

Trey Gerrald:

So what about the humor here?

Trey Gerrald:

I don't think don't think Laura's having any humor.

Chelsey Donn:

Laura's not in a good mood.

Chelsey Donn:

She's not in a giggly space.

Trey Gerrald:

think I can talk about the impact of my anything else for you?

Chelsey Donn:

Spelling and grammar was all good.

Chelsey Donn:

We use like some, all caps, but like no of is just a little like sprinkled here and there.

Chelsey Donn:

I thought it was a well-crafted Review!

Chelsey Donn:

an inappropriate length and I think that's it.

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

All right.

Trey Gerrald:

I think I can crown Laura.

Chelsey Donn:

Okay.

Chelsey Donn:

Let's crown.

Chelsey Donn:

Laura are.

VOICEOVER:

are Tabulating.

VOICEOVER:

The school.

Chelsey Donn:

It's three and a half, three and a half.

Chelsey Donn:

The Queens are unanimous or Trey.

Chelsey Donn:

Why?

Chelsey Donn:

Three and a half.

Trey Gerrald:

all Right.

Trey Gerrald:

So I sit there and a half, because I think there is a really large impact here, and that would

Trey Gerrald:

They didn't, I, I don't know.

Trey Gerrald:

I just said three and a half because it's a little more than average to me, but

Trey Gerrald:

You didn't experience a, you know, so, and it may be, there was a

Trey Gerrald:

So I sit there and a half because I can't guarantee it.

Trey Gerrald:

This is going to be every single person's experience.

Trey Gerrald:

So for that reason, three and a half, what about you?

Trey Gerrald:

Why did you do three and a half?

Chelsey Donn:

I completely believe that this was Laura R's experience based on what was happening,

Chelsey Donn:

And I think that this is a good cautionary tale for someone that is looking to go in real time.

Chelsey Donn:

I could only give three and a half because like I mentioned before, We never got in the fair.

Chelsey Donn:

So I can't really give you any more crowns than that because you didn't, you didn't get to

Chelsey Donn:

So for that reason, three and a half crowns for you, Laura are.

Trey Gerrald:

Fine.

Trey Gerrald:

I can't wait to hear more about this Ren fair experience on the after show.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

Yes.

Chelsey Donn:

All right.

Chelsey Donn:

My queen, we have reached the most Regal portion of our show.

Chelsey Donn:

Who are you?

Chelsey Donn:

Trey in ducting for...

VOICEOVER:

My Royal Highness!

Trey Gerrald:

So this week, I am going to induct a product that was recommended

Chelsey Donn:

Okay.

Trey Gerrald:

I don't actually know her shit.

Trey Gerrald:

There was one year on the view where for December, they were doing recommendations and

Chelsey Donn:

Okay.

Trey Gerrald:

And what it is basically a black canister that contains two metal canisters

Trey Gerrald:

So then you can pour or brew your coffee

Chelsey Donn:

And make it

Trey Gerrald:

from your drip and to this canister.

Trey Gerrald:

And it makes it iced.

Chelsey Donn:

Oh, wow.

Chelsey Donn:

This is the perfect product for you,

Trey Gerrald:

It's the perfect product because you aren't diluting the coffee with ice.

Trey Gerrald:

That's going to turn to water and like disgusting.

Trey Gerrald:

And you can do it with iced tea.

Trey Gerrald:

You can make ice tea, like brew, hot tea.

Trey Gerrald:

it with Y.

Trey Gerrald:

And like, if you want to chill your line, you can do it with anything against.

Trey Gerrald:

Uh, hyper chilled experience.

Trey Gerrald:

truly lovely.

Trey Gerrald:

You can buy them on Amazon.

Trey Gerrald:

They do have a website.

Trey Gerrald:

They like instantly sold out.

Trey Gerrald:

This was maybe three or four years ago on the view, but I have told so many friends about it.

Trey Gerrald:

They've purchased them.

Trey Gerrald:

Everyone's obsessed with that.

Trey Gerrald:

It's called the hyper chiller Gina's product.

Trey Gerrald:

I love it.

Trey Gerrald:

I highly recommend it and has had a huge impact in my life because I am Such a consumer.
