Speaker:blood flow and destroying your erection, that is called
Speaker:endothelial dysfunction. What that means is that the blood
Speaker:vessel is lined by this lining called the endothelium. It's
Speaker:like a thin layer. Think of it like a thin layer of plastic
Speaker:that is wrapped on the inside of your blood vessels. So think of
Speaker:it like a pipe like this, and the inside the pipe is wrapped
Speaker:with like Saran Wrap, very thin, but it acts as the barrier for
Speaker:toxic stuff in your blood that doesn't get go to the cells. The
Speaker:toxic stuff supposed to go to your kidneys and you're supposed
Speaker:to urinate it out. But that barrier, the endothelium,
Speaker:prevents it from being leaked out into the cell. So when the
Speaker:endothelium is not healthy, it starts to leak. When it starts
Speaker:to leak. It allows toxic substances in your blood to leak
Speaker:out into your cell, and that's how your cells get sick. That's
Speaker:how your cells are not functioning normal. So that is
Speaker:what's called inflammation. And so the endothelium is affected
Speaker:by toxic substances, but it's mainly affected by guess what,
Speaker:insulin resistance.

Speaker:What insulin resistance means is that when you eat like say,
Speaker:bread, or when you eat like sweet, your body will release
Speaker:out insulin from the pancreas into the blood. And then the
Speaker:blood sugar that is dissolved by the food then goes into the
Speaker:cell. However, insulin resistance means that when the
Speaker:insulin is secreted into your blood from the pancreas, the
Speaker:blood sugar doesn't gets absorbed. It just kind of hang
Speaker:in there in the blood. So that way the blood sugar seems high,
Speaker:and that's what kind of give you that high hemoglobin A1C, or the
Speaker:high blood sugar count. And that condition is called insulin
Speaker:resistance.
Speaker:Number three, is that sedentary lifestyle. What it means is that
Speaker:if you're not exercising, let's say you're sitting at the desk
Speaker:all day, and you work on the computer while sitting around,
Speaker:and then you go home, you get too tired, you don't go exercise
Speaker:anything like that, and then you start putting on weight. Well,
Speaker:sedentary lifestyle where you're not exercising, it cause
Speaker:endothelium to break down. So this is what is critical for
Speaker:blood flow, because that endothelium, that plastic layer,
Speaker:has to be intact, because if they start to have some holes in
Speaker:it, then you're going to start having toxic stuff that go to
Speaker:the cell, making it sick. If the blood sugar is hanging around
Speaker:your blood for too long, and you're not exercising, then it's
Speaker:gonna affect your erection and affect your penis.
