Unknown:

Hey, I'm Paige Killian, founder and CEO of everything

Unknown:

with style. I've built a business helping busy moms of

Unknown:

littles get organized in three simple steps. Like many of my

Unknown:

clients, I love being a mom and I also desire more. If ever, you

Unknown:

felt that stirring in your heart, that whisper or really

Unknown:

loud voice that keeps you up at night, and I don't mean teething

Unknown:

toddlers and noisy teenagers, then you are in the right place.

Unknown:

Because this is not a solo mission. Whether you're a little

Unknown:

curious or totally ready to be a mom, boss, and use your God

Unknown:

given gifts to serve others step into your calling, turn your

Unknown:

passions into purpose, and still make it to the carpool line on

Unknown:

time, then girlfriend, it's time to pivot. I've got you. Now

Unknown:

let's get started. Hey there, welcome to the time to pivot

Unknown:

podcast. I am your host, Paige Killian. And I wanted to say,

Unknown:

first of all a massive thank you and welcome to this podcast. If

Unknown:

you are listening on Monday, April 17 2023. Chances are it's

Unknown:

because you may have been a listener of my first podcast,

Unknown:

the moms organization motivation podcast that I started in 2020

Unknown:

when we hit lockdown, and I had to stop my organizing business,

Unknown:

and be home to do the old homeschooling thing with the

Unknown:

kiddos. And I could no longer go into my awesome organization,

Unknown:

client's homes to get them organized in three simple steps.

Unknown:

So I started a podcast where I talked about my love of

Unknown:

organization, the ways that I did that. And the podcast was

Unknown:

born, I wanted to stay relevant. And so I wanted them to always

Unknown:

remember, Oh, she's the organizer that I'm going to get.

Unknown:

As soon as we're out of this crazy quarantining time, I'm

Unknown:

going to get her to come and organize my house. But guess

Unknown:

what happened. Not only did the podcast become my first big

Unknown:

pivot in my business, but also I found myself three years later

Unknown:

now in 2023, at another place of the importance of a pivot, and I

Unknown:

really just kept feeling like God was putting on my heart that

Unknown:

I needed to start a new type of podcast that was going to be all

Unknown:

about learning those lessons in the pivot when we need to make

Unknown:

that shift in our lives. So I invited you if you were over on

Unknown:

the moms organization, motivation podcast, as a

Unknown:

listener there to come join me here, so that I could share

Unknown:

different stories that I've had different experiences that I've

Unknown:

had that I've gone through, where I've had to learn how to

Unknown:

shift and pivot. And I also want you to know that there are

Unknown:

amazing guests who are coming up, they're going to be sharing

Unknown:

their times that they've learned to pivot in their life in their

Unknown:

business, and give us some great advice for better ways that we

Unknown:

could do it ways that we could shortcut the process. So that

Unknown:

when we are at this crossroads, when we are at this place of

Unknown:

pivot, instead of resisting it, we'll lean into it and do that

Unknown:

with integrity. Do that with grace, do that with the

Unknown:

understanding that we don't have to have everything figured out,

Unknown:

it's okay. We can lean in and do things scared, and we can do

Unknown:

really hard things. So I'm guessing that if you did follow

Unknown:

me over from that podcast, you are either an awesome loyal

Unknown:

listener, or you are a dear friend or a family member of

Unknown:

mine. And I appreciate you so so much for being here. If that's

Unknown:

not how you found me, and you are listening later than our

Unknown:

launch week, I'm guessing that you're here today. Because

Unknown:

there's some sort of thing that I'm going to say that you need

Unknown:

to hear. And if today, you need to hear that I'm here to give

Unknown:

you some love, give me some encouragement, give you some

Unknown:

support. As you are going through a transition in your

Unknown:

life, a time in your life that you need to pivot, then you

Unknown:

better believe that I take that responsibility very seriously.

Unknown:

And I'm honored that you've chosen to spend your time here

Unknown:

with me here with my awesome guests who are going to be

Unknown:

sharing their experiences of pivoting. So I hope that you

Unknown:

will join me or week after week. Every Monday, a new episode will

Unknown:

go live. Unless you are here with me in launch week, and we

Unknown:

will actually have a new episode go live every single day. So

Unknown:

April 17. On Monday, you'll hear the trailer Episode One and two,

Unknown:

and then Tuesday through Friday of this week. Eat. Stay tuned

Unknown:

for some really awesome topics. I'm gonna be doing solo

Unknown:

episodes, I'm going to be talking about things like mom

Unknown:

guilt, ah, does that come into your life by the way, if you're

Unknown:

not a busy mom and you're listening, I just want you to

Unknown:

know that every time I say, girlfriend or girl or mom or

Unknown:

mama, just know, I still can be talking to you as well. So maybe

Unknown:

you can make that adjustment in your mind. And in your heart, as

Unknown:

you hear me say those if that's not really word you identify

Unknown:

with. But please just know, it mostly means friend, it means

Unknown:

friend, I am so excited to be your cheerleader as you move

Unknown:

through this transition in your life. As I said, if you're

Unknown:

getting stuck in mom guilt, or person guilt, then just know

Unknown:

that there's no place for guilt in our hearts, when we're being

Unknown:

called to do something new, it can be scary, we can wonder if

Unknown:

we're going to be able to do it and still handle the other

Unknown:

responsibilities in our life. I understand that I've lived it.

Unknown:

And that's part of what I want to share on that particular

Unknown:

episode is how you can combat that guilt and still continue to

Unknown:

move forward. I'm going to be talking about what the heck is

Unknown:

the calling is that even real is that hocus pocus? Is that

Unknown:

something that aligns with things in your heart? Do you

Unknown:

feel like having a calling is actually something that happens?

Unknown:

Well, I believe it is. And I believe that you have got

Unknown:

incredible gifts that need to be unlocked and shared with the

Unknown:

world. And if that feels scary, or uncomfortable, just know

Unknown:

there are episodes that are going to be coming about that as

Unknown:

well, I'm going to be talking about getting comfortable with

Unknown:

being uncomfortable, if that makes any sense to you. If it

Unknown:

doesn't, hopefully after that episode, it will. Because I

Unknown:

believe that when we are called to do things and share our gifts

Unknown:

with other people in order to serve them. And we are really

Unknown:

moving forward in our lives with purpose, then you absolutely are

Unknown:

on the right track. There's no need for that guilt to creep in.

Unknown:

You are pursuing your purpose, you are taking your gifts that

Unknown:

you were given, and they're not in vain. They're being used to

Unknown:

serve others. So that's just a little glimpse of what this

Unknown:

upcoming week and future episodes will entail. So I hope

Unknown:

that you will join me everyday this week, and also each week of

Unknown:

the month. Because I really feel like this is something that we

Unknown:

need to do together. So stick with me. Again, I'm so grateful

Unknown:

you're here, I promise you, I will bring my all and my

Unknown:

everything and share with you everything that's on my heart.

Unknown:

Because I know that when I listen to other people's

Unknown:

podcasts, or when I bumped into someone awesome and strike up a

Unknown:

conversation at the grocery store, or at a baseball game.

Unknown:

It's because there's meaning in that we were meant to be in that

Unknown:

place at that time to hear that message and connect with that

Unknown:

person because there's some greater goal in the end that

Unknown:

we're supposed to accomplish. So whether today or any of the days

Unknown:

ahead, you are here for encouragement, or life lessons

Unknown:

or motivation or inspiration, I can assure you that I will do my

Unknown:

very best to share with you what I've learned and have some

Unknown:

incredible guests on to share with you what they've learned. I

Unknown:

hope that you enjoy. I will talk to you tomorrow or the next day

Unknown:

or next week. For more on how we can pivot. Thanks for listening.

Unknown:
