What up y'?
Speaker BAll?
Speaker AThis is Emily and I'm Lisa and we are the Continents collaboration podcast.
Speaker AYes we are.
Speaker AYes.
Speaker ASo episode 201, we're.
Speaker AWe're around the corner.
Speaker BNew territory.
Speaker ANew territory.
Speaker ANew algorithms.
Speaker BFun for 222 also.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker AI've been seeing two.
Speaker ATwo people in US.
Speaker AYes, I know.
Speaker AWell, fire horse season is fire horsing.
Speaker BLook at this.
Speaker BFire horsing.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker BNow we're overlapping with Mercury retrograde.
Speaker BI'm not sure the length of it and where we'll be as far as when this episode comes out next week.
Speaker AWeek.
Speaker BBut we are right in the thick of it as of now, so.
Speaker AYay.
Speaker AWoohoo.
Speaker BLots of energies at play.
Speaker BWe're gonna check on them.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker ASo we're recording this on March 3rd and this airs next.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker AThree.
Speaker AThree.
Speaker AAnd I woke up at the crack of dawn this morning, literally trying to see the blood moon, the Virgo blood moon.
Speaker AAnd I didn't have an issue waking up because this time of year my body's so used to this clock that we're about to switch forward where we live.
Speaker BIt's next weekend.
Speaker AIt's next weekend.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker AAnd I'm so disappointed because I feel so good in this rhythm right now.
Speaker ABut I woke up, you know, 5:30, went outside to see the moon and I couldn't find it because of man made objects like high rises and lights blocking, blocking it.
Speaker ABut the light was really pretty.
Speaker ASo I guess it was like one of those rare instances where you could see the sunrise and the moon, the blood moon at the same time.
Speaker ASo I saw beautiful pictures on social media this morning, even from my neighborhood, but I couldn't see it myself.
Speaker AAnd I didn't really do any like ritual or letting go or anything like that.
Speaker AThere's so much stuff going on.
Speaker AI'm like, where do you even begin?
Speaker AYeah, lessons.
Speaker BI mean, it feels like a really great time just to kind of like protect your own peace with, with all that's going on.
Speaker BAnd I think that that tracks with a Mercury retrograde as well.
Speaker BLike it's a great time to, to kind of go inward and so we'll see what the.
Speaker BIf the I Ching agrees with that or what it, what it says.
Speaker AYeah, let's do a quick check in around where we are.
Speaker AGosh.
Speaker AWhat should our intention be to see when this episode finds you?
Speaker AThis I Ching reading will help you to assess where the energy is currently in the collective and how to navigate forward until we meet again.
Speaker BBeautiful.
Speaker BOkay, so I have nothing further to
Speaker Aadd Nothing further to add.
Speaker ATeaching.
Speaker AOkay, that was slow catapult.
Speaker AAnd it was too many cards.
Speaker AOkay, there we go.
Speaker AThat's interesting.
Speaker AI like.
Speaker AWhoop.
Speaker AI like that one.
Speaker AOkay, this is fun.
Speaker ASo the current energy of the collective, when you find this reading is hexagram 13, fellowship.
Speaker AIt's that.
Speaker AI like this one.
Speaker AIt's that little fire in the cave.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker AAnd there's bones around it.
Speaker BVery womb looking cave, if you want to go.
Speaker AOh, it is.
Speaker AThese are very like.
Speaker BThat reminds me of protecting peace.
Speaker AYeah, it does.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker AA shelter reminds me like you've got the fire and then there's five bones around it.
Speaker AMaybe to represent the five earthly elements.
Speaker APerhaps.
Speaker ABut it's sky above and fire below are the energies.
Speaker AAlthough the artwork depicts.
Speaker AAlthough it has that fire in there, it's just a lot of earthy, you know, coon colors, which is in relationships, partnerships.
Speaker AAnd this is telling us the story of fellowship.
Speaker AAnd then shifting forward is hexagram 19, the approach of spring.
Speaker AQuite literally the approach of spring.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker BI don't know if I've ever seen that one.
Speaker AYeah, it's beautiful.
Speaker AIt's earth above and lake below.
Speaker AAnd I like it reminds me of that book that we read growing up in the 80s and 90s, where the
Speaker Bsidewalk ends,
Speaker Awhere the wild things are, but also meets where the sidewalk Ends.
Speaker ADid you read that book?
Speaker BSidewalk Ends is Shel Silverstein.
Speaker BI know exactly what that is.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker BIt's the different poems with the illustrations, but Shel Silverstein's was always black and white drawings that.
Speaker BThat's like the.
Speaker BThe watercolors of where the Wild Things Are.
Speaker AYeah, yeah.
Speaker BAnd look at how this just sequentially goes together too.
Speaker BWhere do you go to hibernate during the winter, but in a cave?
Speaker BRight.
Speaker BAnd you're very much just kind of protecting your own piece.
Speaker BAnd then what comes with later is what comes next is coming out of the cave and into springtime.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker ABut I do like the energy currently is talking about fellowship, collaboration, relationships.
Speaker ALet's see.
Speaker AWe'll give a quick overview.
Speaker AWe're so good at this, we don't even need to read the translation.
Speaker AAnd again, it's from Paul o' Brien's Modern, Modern Translation.
Speaker AAnd yeah, I mean, this talks all about collaboration.
Speaker AQuick summary.
Speaker AWith a unified group solidly behind you, even difficult enterprises can be undertaken without great risk.
Speaker ASo who is around you that is supporting you in your endeavors, where you are headed?
Speaker AYou might feel very isolated in a cave, but in fact, you do have your collaborators.
Speaker AAnd I think that's A good.
Speaker BJust, I'm sorry to cut you off just based on what we were talking about before we recorded, you know, and I don't know if it's going to go on to say anything about this, but also doing an audit or a review of your current, you know, the people around you and determining who may or may not still be collaborators because sometimes you have to reevaluate, you know, somebody's potential position in your inner circle, if you will.
Speaker BAnd yes, and you know, you may have, you may discover that those who were previously your fellows are not necessarily acting in a way that promotes that anymore.
Speaker AYeah, this is very much the energy of that.
Speaker AI don't know how much of your story will come come out in the wash here.
Speaker ABut so informing your groups a spirit of cooperation studies the boat for the good of all sorts of.
Speaker ASo when you're cooperating that is reciprocated, that, that washes over everybody and you want to apply your high ideals, what you expect out of life onto you.
Speaker AI just listened to a podcast and I, I think it was a diary of a CEO and talking about, especially when people are trying to manifest partners in their life and they make this big long list of all like I want six, four and a big bank account and all these things and super fit.
Speaker AWell like how many of those things in that list do you embody yourself?
Speaker AWhat do you have to offer?
Speaker ABut in, in this energy of fellowship too, you need these close knit groups to help you or you know, to, to help each other through life together.
Speaker AAnd so, so apply high ideals to yourself as you would to the people in your group.
Speaker BAnd, and so many of those ideals and qualities actually determine whether somebody will make a good partner or not, you know.
Speaker AYeah, it's said, you know, we attract people that are similar vibration.
Speaker ANot to say that some don't.
Speaker AWhat, what is the saying?
Speaker BI mean Steve says this all the time too.
Speaker BHigh vibrational people or empress level people still attract.
Speaker BI mean they'll, they attract a lot.
Speaker BThey attract, you know, good, bad and in between.
Speaker BAnd part of that being high vibrational is having that discerning ability to, you know, eventually sort out who, who has your best interest in mind and who doesn't.
Speaker AI haven't heard you talk about Steve in a while.
Speaker AYes, I'll never fully leave my, my lexicon.
Speaker ASteve's love tarot.
Speaker AIs that what his channel is?
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker ASo also it talks about the importance of having differences in your group to be able to be the strongest.
Speaker ASo embracing diversity of strengths is more important.
Speaker AThan having a great number, but having a very good, solid, diverse group.
Speaker ASo very positive energy.
Speaker AThere is a top line change here.
Speaker ASo it says you are blessed by divine providence.
Speaker AOh, I've not gotten this line before.
Speaker AIn this energy, this is a time for improvement in every way.
Speaker ASupreme success goes to those who are in the world but not of it, who in the fullness of possession and at the height of their influence, remain modest and wink toward heaven.
Speaker AProvidence helps those who live with faith and gratitude and other people help the one who is true.
Speaker ATo those who have these qualities, more will be given.
Speaker ASo really being like we even talked about this in the pre chat.
Speaker AThe importance of being true to yourself and your values and integrity and not getting wrapped up.
Speaker ABut this is the recipe for supreme success.
Speaker AAnd that this is in this reading is really important to the collective who's receiving this today.
Speaker AAnd going further down, the person who's able to win over others by sincerity and a sense of dignity always find themselves in a favorable position.
Speaker AThis applies as much to those of great wealth and stature as to anyone else.
Speaker AA combination of emotional honesty and personal dignity produces the best results.
Speaker AThose who can maintain such qualities even while responding to improper behavior, have good fortune assured.
Speaker AI think this is.
Speaker AYeah, set you free.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker AOur pre chats always tend to link up with these energy check ins.
Speaker AI mean there is just such a collective resonance at play.
Speaker AIf pride and envy have surfaced in your life, let them go.
Speaker ADon't try to compete with others.
Speaker AProjected self images.
Speaker ACompeting with another's personal ego gets you nowhere.
Speaker AIt is a supreme waste of time and energy.
Speaker AConsider the dilemma of average people who consort with the rich and powerful.
Speaker AWhen dining with the elite, the poorer person must sometimes pick up the check.
Speaker ABe willing to do so without hesitation or resentment, and you will remain free in spirit and be equal of those around you.
Speaker BMan, isn't that the most beautiful metaphor for what we were just talking about?
Speaker BYou know, it's kind of like the theory too.
Speaker BJust like, you know, people are gonna say things and do things that are just wrong and you just kind of got to let them, you know, stay in your lane, stay in your integrity, stay in your truth.
Speaker AAnd it will reciprocity too.
Speaker AYeah, the reciprocity and the symbolism of picking up the check, you know, even when you might be in a lesser position of wealth, is going to further you in the long run.
Speaker ASo again, remaining free of spirit and also knowing that you are the equal or greater than those of around around you.
Speaker BAnd people who are running out on checks, especially people who have, you know, the resources.
Speaker BIt'll come back around.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker BIt'll come back around.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker AAnd it feels good to be able just to give from that place too.
Speaker APhilanthropy is an obligation of those in possession of material mature we.
Speaker ABy donating a portion of wealth to support the greater good, wealthy people can avoid becoming possessed by their possessions.
Speaker AOn the other side, those who lack resources need not feel shame in asking for or receiving assistance.
Speaker AAll wealth is passing is a passing trust to be administered by people for a short time.
Speaker AA small minded individual who is ignorant and lacking of this attitude will be controlled by what they own and the desire to accumulate more and more.
Speaker AEven though they have the potential power of abundance, they squander or hoard it and therefore never can be joyful and free.
Speaker AOkay, so lastly, the first lesson after an achievement of success is to stay fluid and mobile.
Speaker AThe amount of wealth doesn't matter as much as its usefulness going forward.
Speaker AWealth of any kind has the most value when used to launch new undertakings for the good of all, rather than the strength and the elite status of a few or just yourself.
Speaker AOne way to spread wealth is to be generous, especially with those who have helped you.
Speaker AThe reliable support of trustworthy people is the greatest asset of all.
Speaker AShout out to the collective Facebook group.
Speaker BYep.
Speaker BYeah, once again I have nothing to add.
Speaker AYeah, perfectly said.
Speaker AI Ching translation here.
Speaker APaul o'.
Speaker ABrien.
Speaker AAll right, so lastly, moving forward, the approach of spring.
Speaker AMy allergies feel the approach of spring.
Speaker AI walked out.
Speaker AI have like so many of those pollen clusters from the oak trees in my hair.
Speaker ANext comes the worms that are on the strings.
Speaker AThose are fun.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker AIt says spring is coming.
Speaker AGood times seem inevitable and there is vitality in the air.
Speaker AThis is the most auspicious time.
Speaker ALike a snake emerging from hibernation.
Speaker ASnake reference.
Speaker AThere's a snake again.
Speaker ANegative forces are only beginning to stir and can be effectively controlled.
Speaker AThis is a time of hopeful progress and must be used to one's best advantage when approaching good fortune.
Speaker AConscientiousness work.
Speaker AConscientious work pays great dividends.
Speaker AA clear road lies ahead.
Speaker AIn the spring, seeds that have been lying dormant are ready to bloom.
Speaker AAct now, for at some point this ripe opportunity for advantage advancement will be challenged.
Speaker ABecause no spring lasts forever, it's wise to stay alert and note the changing signs of the time in doing so.
Speaker APreparing for less fertile times is a noble and fruitful effort.
Speaker AMake the most of the season now.
Speaker ABeautiful.
Speaker AAnother reason why you have to have the right fellowship in play.
Speaker AThey have that those Elements of reciprocity and solution oriented and positive and love diversity.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker BNot with people focused on.
Speaker BOn status or
Speaker Asame same seas.
Speaker BPersonal advancement.
Speaker AYeah, I know, I know so much I could say there.
Speaker AI don't want to like give away.
Speaker AGive away totally the, the pre chat of content.
Speaker ABut yeah, I mean there's so much to be said.
Speaker ALooking through a world lens too that, looking for the things that unite individuals and seeing the advantage of having different perspectives and experiences and these differences are what make you.
Speaker AI mean it just brings that mastermind together so you all don't get into a group think of like, you know, if you're, if you're in a situation where there's a problem to be solved and you're all thinking of the same way and there's no differences in that.
Speaker AYou're just gonna feel like you're going down in the ship but someone with a different perspective and different experience space is going to be the one to lead through.
Speaker ASo you want, you want people with those different experiences and lenses in your circle and, and see that as an asset and not a threat.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker ASo I don't know.
Speaker AI feel good about it.
Speaker AI know like Mercury in retrograde.
Speaker ALife is going to be life thing even in retrograde.
Speaker ASo it's not like we can stay hunkered down and not move forward with changes and contracts and you know, here in the US and Canada too, doing taxes and that kind of stuff, you still got to do that.
Speaker ABut dot your eyes and cross your T's and have good people around you to help you navigate if you're feeling challenged and ask for help and if you have more to give, give it.
Speaker AThat's the recipe for, for supreme success here.
Speaker ASo what say you over there?
Speaker BI, I agree.
Speaker AI agree on all counts.
Speaker BAll those things.
Speaker BYeah, that's the I Ching tends to do.
Speaker AYes.
Speaker AYeah, it does.
Speaker AIt's always.
Speaker BWe have to let on the details of our pre chat.
Speaker AWe don't.
Speaker AI think it's relevant to so many
Speaker Bright now, you know, some, some life situations that they can apply that to.
Speaker BSo.
Speaker AYeah, no, I mean I'm thinking about it in my own, my own world, you know, from my pre chat what I was experiencing in the past week as well too.
Speaker AI am so grateful for the fellowship that I have in the challenging times and just the, the insights and the experience.
Speaker ASometimes it just feels good to have like, you know, you want to be, you want there to be a little bit of devil's advocate to give you, you know, one perspective or another.
Speaker ABut Also, it feels good to have those that are affirming.
Speaker AYou know, it's comforting.
Speaker AA little bit of both.
Speaker BWell, those people, the ones who are supposed to be there, can.
Speaker BCan do both.
Speaker BThey can, you know, challenge you when.
Speaker BWhen that's needed, but support you at the same time.
Speaker BAnd that doesn't mean acquiescing to your every, you know, idea.
Speaker AFluff my feathers all the time.
Speaker AFluffing your feathers.
Speaker BYou'll need a bunch of feather fluffers, but a little bit of fluffing is.
Speaker AYeah.
Speaker AMotivating.
Speaker BYeah.
Speaker AHelps you get through the times.
