Speaker A

Stuck on who to start for week eight of fantasy football.

Speaker A

We've got the insights and answers to help you make those crucial decisions.

Speaker A

No one is on by this week, so hopefully you have lots of options for your.

Speaker A

For your teams.

Speaker A

Um, we have lots of games, so let's just jump right in and see who's gonna have a good week.

Speaker B

Yeah, I just settled my lineups for going into the Thursday night game, and I did have lots of options, so that was kind of nice to see.

Speaker B

We have some questions about injuries still lingering out there that we'll have to navigate around, but not too bad.

Speaker B

So let's kick it off with Green Bay at Jacksonville.

Speaker B

And Green Bay is favored by four points.

Speaker B

This is supposed to be our highest scoring game, which has me a little confused, but hey, we'll go with that.

Speaker B

We have the problem at Green Bay of trying to figure out which wide receiver to start.

Speaker B

It's just a mystery each week.

Speaker B

And last week against Houston, it was Romeo Dobbs and Dontevian Wicks.

Speaker B

I was counting on it being Christian Watson, which didn't happen.

Speaker B

And when they're all healthy, it's just a toss up which wide receiver to start for Green Bay.

Speaker B

I guess it's kind of always good because there's usually one sitting out there on the waivers and you can go grab them if you're desperate.

Speaker B

But this week, hopefully no one's desperate since we don't have any players on by.

Speaker B

Although those injuries that have happened have been kind of crazy.

Speaker B

So you might be looking for one of these wide receivers.

Speaker B

They can all be played kind of sort of.

Speaker B

Like I said, it's hit and miss what you're going to get with these Green Bay wide receivers.

Speaker B

Jacksonville is a mess led by Trevor Lawrence, who is just not really good.

Speaker B

So on the Jacksonville side, you're going to be starting Brian Thomas Jr.

Speaker B

In this game.

Speaker B

Um, Jacksonville's kind of sure to go down early and be throwing, and he's their main wide receiver, so I do like starting him because they're going to be passing.

Speaker B

I also like Evan Ingram if he plays he what is questionable.

Speaker A

What about Tank Bigsby?

Speaker A

I picked up Tank Bigsby a couple weeks ago.

Speaker A

Should I be starting him this week?

Speaker B

Travis Etn has made it, made his way back to practice and maybe coming back into the game.

Speaker B

So, you know, there's some mystery there.

Speaker B

I don't love the Tank Big spe start this week if Etn's playing, but I do like it if he's not there.

Speaker B

I just hate sharing time, especially in A bad offense.

Speaker A

So definitely start Jordan.

Speaker A

Love Brian Thomas Jr.

Speaker A

Evan Ingram, probably start Jaden Reed, and hopefully he doesn't have too bad games.

Speaker A

If you have another Green Bay ride receiver, start him.

Speaker B

Yeah, I like Jaden Reed.

Speaker B

Jaden Reed was the favorite to go to until last week, and then he wasn't again.

Speaker B

It's a mystery.

Speaker B

So you're gonna have to, you know, make that call.

Speaker B

Green Bay does like to keep it balanced, so their running game is also in play.

Speaker B

But Jacksonville's allowing the seventh fewest rushing yards per game.

Speaker B

So that kind of takes out their.

Speaker B

Their running game a little bit.

Speaker B

But they're going to be running because they're going to be winning and they're going to be trying to make that game over with.

Speaker A

So what about Philadelphia at Cincinnati?

Speaker A

Who should I be starting or sitting?

Speaker B

So the Eagles defense has played well the last two weeks, but you know, they played Cleveland and they played the New York Giants.

Speaker B

So how much did they really.

Speaker B

How much did we really learn about how good the Eagles defense is?

Speaker B

In week four, we saw Baker Mayfield light the Eagles up.

Speaker B

So now we're faced with the situation of can Joe Burrow do it?

Speaker B

Cause Joe Burrow is better than Daniel Jones or DeSean Watson.

Speaker B

He's.

Speaker B

He's a big step up.

Speaker B

So can Burrow light up the Eagles like Baker Mayfield?

Speaker B

I think he can.

Speaker B

I like starting Joe Burrow.

Speaker B

Of course you're starting Jalen hurts.

Speaker B

So both quarterbacks are in play.

Speaker B

Cause the Cincinnati defense isn't so scary either.

Speaker B

You're not ever benching Zaquan Barkley.

Speaker B

You know, these are your.

Speaker B

I know.

Speaker B

Automatic starts.

Speaker B

And then I like A.J.

Speaker B

brown, Jamar Chase.

Speaker B

Again, automatic starts.

Speaker B

I'd sit the Bengals running backs Chase Brown and Zach Moss, they both struggled in week seven.

Speaker B

And Zach Moss, I don't know if he's hurt, if he fumbled the ball one too many times, but I just don't like their running game.

Speaker B

In this game.

Speaker B

Chase Brown's mostly taken over.

Speaker B

So if you're going to start one of them, it's going to be Chase Brown.

Speaker B

It's not going to be Zach Moss.

Speaker B

But if you have the option, I would sit both of these running backs.

Speaker A

What about tight ends?

Speaker A

This is.

Speaker A

Philadelphia has been one where we've kind of picked up a tight end or two.

Speaker A

Should I be starting Dallas Goddard or maybe Grant Calcaterra if I picked him off.

Speaker A

Picked him up off waiver wire.

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker B

So it looks like Dallas Goddard, I think, is going to miss another week.

Speaker B

He's not practicing and he's got that dreaded hamstring injury which lingers and lingers and lingers.

Speaker B

So Grant Calcaterra is playable in this situation for sure.

Speaker B

I think both of these sides are going to go back and forth and not have a lot of defense.

Speaker B

Hopefully they just don't stumble on themselves, which we see too many times.

Speaker B

So, yeah, he had a bad week.

Speaker B

Calcutero had a bad week last weekend, but they didn't need him either.

Speaker B

You know, Saquon Barkley ran for 175 yards and they didn't need to do anything except give the ball to Barkley and let him run.

Speaker B

So I think he's playable.

Speaker A

Arizona at Miami is next up with 46 and a half over under.

Speaker A

They're saying this is going to be high scoring then.

Speaker A

Do you see that happening?

Speaker B

I don't know.

Speaker B

I like this game.

Speaker B

On paper, I like this game.

Speaker B

You know, the Dolphins are getting two A back.

Speaker B

We're all going to be all excited, especially if he doesn't get hurt in his first game back.

Speaker B

We're all going to be holding our breath though, watching this game.

Speaker B

The Dolphins just looked really, really bad last week against the Colts.

Speaker B

They looked almost like they didn't want to win that game.

Speaker B

Jalen Waddle and Tyreek Hill had four total targets, two each.

Speaker B

They each had a catch.

Speaker B

How are you not even trying to get the ball in their hands?

Speaker B

And why are you telling me that Tua magically coming back is going to fix all of this?

Speaker B

And so I have concerns there.

Speaker B

The matchup doesn't get really any better.

Speaker B

The Dolphins are at home and they're going against a soft Arizona Cardinals.

Speaker B

So I like that.

Speaker B

But I feel like we've got that Pacific team coming to the east coast team coming back here a little bit.

Speaker B

And we know that when we've got that Pacific team going to the east that it's about 65% of the time they're winning and covering their spread.

Speaker B

But I think if they're covering the spread, then maybe it is a competitive game and maybe they are going to hit that over as well.

Speaker B

So you're going to start the players in these games, at least on the Cardinals side.

Speaker B

So Kyler Murray, James Connor, Marvin Harrison Jr.

Speaker B

Those are all in play.

Speaker B

You're starting them.

Speaker B

Trey McBride, their tight end as well.

Speaker B

And then we have the big question on the Dolphins side.

Speaker B

Are we going to buy in on it this week?

Speaker B

I'm not starting Tua.

Speaker B

I would let Tua sit there for a week and see how this is going to go Especially based on how bad it's been the last few weeks.

Speaker B

And then the bigger question comes in with the Dolphins running game.

Speaker B

Are you going to start Devin Achan or Raheem Mostert in this game?

Speaker B

And that's a big mystery for me.

Speaker B

I have Achan and I can't decide right now if I'm going to start him.

Speaker B

I probably will if you can sit on Tyreek Hill or Jalen Waddle.

Speaker B

I'm probably not going there until Tua gets a good game under his belt.

Speaker A

What would make you not start Achan on Sunday?

Speaker B

I had somebody better to play and that may be in my case.

Speaker B

I have Jordan Mason as well.

Speaker B

So if I'm sitting there with Jordan Mason or Devon Achan, I'm if Mason plays and that's a big if right now, then I'm probably playing Mason over Achan.

Speaker A

Makes sense.

Speaker B

You have any of these players?

Speaker A

I think I have Marvin Harrison by okay.

Speaker A

I've been cycling, cycling him in and out because I have some other options that I've liked more.

Speaker A

This week's going to be a little interesting with with DK out.

Speaker A

So I got to figure out who is.

Speaker A

Who are my starting wide receivers this week, which does segue as well into our next game of Buffalo at Seattle where I have both Keon Coleman and I have DK on my bench now.

Speaker B

So DK is interesting.

Speaker B

I thought for sure with his sprained MCL he was going to be out and now the coach is saying we're just going to sit him for a few days and decide on Friday how he's going to feel.

Speaker B

I feel like the line in this game, it's in Seattle and Buffalo is favored by three.

Speaker B

So if I give them their home team points that you usually get your 2 to 3.

Speaker B

Now this is a 5.5 to 6 point spread.

Speaker B

So I feel like Vegas has already decided that DK Metcalf isn't playing because if Metcalf is in this game and they're playing in Seattle, I don't see the line being Buffalo by three.

Speaker B

I think this is a much more competitive game, but they are putting it at 46 and a half points.

Speaker B

So that's kind of telling us another, you know, that they do expect some scoring in this and maybe the Seahawks can be just fine without DK Metcalf, but they're not going to win it, which I never like betting against the Seahawks in Seattle, but this might be the game to do it.

Speaker B

We'll see.

Speaker B

Now we've got the east coast team going to The west coast, and that's just 50, 50.

Speaker B

It doesn't get the same kind of odds that we see on the Pacific to East Coast.

Speaker B

If you've got them, you're starting Josh Allen.

Speaker B

Kenneth Walker is third.

Speaker B

James Cook.

Speaker B

James Cook is a must start.

Speaker B

The Seahawks defense is also really, really beat up.

Speaker B

So Seattle or Buffalo could have a very, very good day in Seattle.

Speaker B

I'm a little worried about Kenneth Walker making his numbers just because if this is a Bill's blowout, will they be passing more with Geno Smith?

Speaker B

And then do we give a bump up to Jackson Smith, Najigba and Noah Fan in this lineup as well?

Speaker B

So if I.

Speaker B

If Metcalf is out, then JSN is almost a must start in this game.

Speaker B

I even like Bobo.

Speaker B

If you're, like, getting all crazy or if you catch us on dfs, Bobo's comes in to be a what the heck play to see what can happen because the Bills can let some points get scored as well.

Speaker A

That's exciting to hear that this is.

Speaker A

This is a DFS possible game and that Bobo might even be an option there.

Speaker A

Probably an inexpensive option.

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker A

What about.

Speaker A

Yes.

Speaker B

As well.

Speaker A

Lockett.

Speaker B

I forgot him.

Speaker B

I think he could start this week.

Speaker A

Definitely.

Speaker A

Um, especially they've.

Speaker A

They've been doing a good rotation.

Speaker A

Lockett tends to get a lot of the shorter passes, it seems, but they.

Speaker A

Especially if DK is not starting.

Speaker A

I would say Lockett is a start.

Speaker B

Yeah, I think so, too.

Speaker A

What about.

Speaker B

And then we have.

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker B

The mystery of the Bills wide receivers.

Speaker B

So Amari Cooper came in.

Speaker B

Keon Coleman was suddenly open and could catch the ball.

Speaker B

So he looked good.

Speaker B

Do we count on that happening again?

Speaker B

And Cleel Shakir isn't doing nearly as much as we thought he was going to do this year, but is he just kind of lurking?

Speaker B

And then we have Dalton Kincaid, their tight end as well.

Speaker B

Eileen on starting Dalton Kincaid, he's not.

Speaker B

He's an important.

Speaker B

He's.

Speaker B

He's an important part of their offense, and I feel like he's playable.

Speaker B

Then when you get to the three wide receivers, it's kind of, you know, back to the Green Bay mystery.

Speaker B

Which one's going to do it this week?

Speaker B

And can we count on Keon Coleman two weeks in a row?

Speaker A

Or maybe it's Amari Cooper's week now that he's learning more of the routes.

Speaker B

As long as.

Speaker B

Yeah, that Coleman's not like, nudging him over and going, hey, just go straight down the field and you'll catch a touchdown.

Speaker B

Trust Me.

Speaker B

That was a great play though.

Speaker A

You're playing that way, dude.

Speaker B

Just go down there and catch the ball.

Speaker B

And that's what he did.

Speaker A

I love it.

Speaker A

Up next, Dallas at San Francisco.

Speaker A

San Francisco's favored by 4.

Speaker A

How is this game going to go?

Speaker A

San Francisco is really hurting.

Speaker A

Dallas has like thrown out this season.

Speaker A

I'm guessing.

Speaker B

Some of these lines really confuse me and this one would be one of them.

Speaker B

I know that the Cowboys have looked really bad, but they're coming off their by, so hopefully they've, you know, figured a few things out so they don't look as bad.

Speaker B

And the 49ers are just decimated with injuries.

Speaker B

So we saw Brandon Iuk last, last weekend go to ir, so he's out for the season.

Speaker B

Then Debo Samuel, you know, has pneumonia.

Speaker B

He played four snaps last week and was like, yeah, I'm going to the locker room and then went to the hospital.

Speaker B

So my confidence in Deebo being able to recover in just a week.

Speaker B

I know he's young, but I don't have a lot of confidence in Deebo being there either.

Speaker B

Then George Kittle has a foot injury now, so he's on the questionable list.

Speaker B

You can add Jordan Mason to that list as well.

Speaker B

He's not practicing either with an ankle injury.

Speaker B

And Juwan Jennings, well, didn't play last week.

Speaker B

He has a hip injury.

Speaker B

Chris Conley, also one of their wide receivers, has an ankle injury.

Speaker B

So this is a really, really beat up team that they expect to play extremely well against a healthy Cowboys team.

Speaker A

I don't get it.

Speaker B

I know that the Cowboys don't have a running game and the 49ers defense is fairly good, but this still has me, you know, scratching my head a little bit and we'll see how much the injury.

Speaker B

Who ends up playing for the 49ers, I think George Kettle end up playing and Jordan Mason.

Speaker B

But if Mason doesn't play, I feel like Mason's a must start.

Speaker B

We've seen teams run all over the Cowboys, but if Mason doesn't play, then Isaac Garendo, he's a must start as well.

Speaker B

Either one of those are players that you've got to get into your lineups.

Speaker B

The Dallas defense hasn't been, like I said, particularly good and I like Ricky Pearsall too, to step up for the 49ers.

Speaker B

We're going to see if this rookie can just jump right in and start catching some touchdown passes for them.

Speaker B

Of course you're starting Dak Prescott, CD Lamb and Jason Jake Ferguson.

Speaker B

If they can run on the 49ers or not.

Speaker B

I like their tight end, though.

Speaker A

Yeah, I think with Jake Ferguson, you're.

Speaker A

You're kind of stuck back in that tight end issue where there's not that many good tight ends this year, so might be.

Speaker A

If that's the one, then you're starting that tie in them.

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker A

Atlanta at Tampa Bay.

Speaker A

Atlanta's favored.

Speaker A

I think it makes some sense that Atlanta is favored.

Speaker A

Maybe that was reflection on the fact that Tampa Bay lost Godwin and Evans this week.

Speaker B

Yeah, Godwin is gone for the year, Evans till week 11.

Speaker B

And I probably don't get to make the call anymore on Falcons players since I didn't really like that game last week.

Speaker B

But Bijan Robinson looks really great.

Speaker B

He's had two great games in a row.

Speaker B

So you're starting B.

Speaker B

John.

Speaker B

There's no way you're not starting him.

Speaker B

I'm starting Kirk Cousins, too.

Speaker B

I like Kirk Cousins against this Tampa Bay defense that hasn't been able to stop a lot.

Speaker B

Therefore, we're taking in Drake London.

Speaker B

We're starting him.

Speaker B

We're starting Kyle Pitts.

Speaker B

We're taking our whole chance on the Falcons offense and Daryl Mooney, too, which I hope this doesn't come back to get me, but we'll see.

Speaker B

On the other side for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Bucky Irving didn't practice with a toe injury, so that one's got me a little bit concerned.

Speaker B

That was a did not practice on Thursday.

Speaker B

That already came out, so I want to watch that because if he doesn't start, I know Rashad White's looking to start, but if Bucky Irving doesn't start, I liked Sean Tucker running against when he had that big game against the New Orleans Saints a few weeks ago.

Speaker B

So I'm really curious what he can do.

Speaker B

And he's definitely worth, I think, taking a chance on in this game where they're going to have to lean on people that just know their offense and.

Speaker B

And players that have been there a little bit.

Speaker B

And I'm starting Baker Mayfield.

Speaker B

You know, they're going to be letting Baker throw that ball.

Speaker B

Rashad White's going to probably pick up some of those passes.

Speaker B

So you're definitely starting him.

Speaker B

And then Kate Otten.

Speaker B

Kate Otten's a must start.

Speaker B

He may be our top tight end this week because of all of the other injuries, and we're not really sure who the wide receivers are going to be or how they're.

Speaker B

What kind of chemistry they're going to have with Baker Mayfield.

Speaker A

Do you like the Atlanta defense this week.

Speaker A

I don't with all the injuries that have happened to Tampa Bay.

Speaker B

No.

Speaker B

I still don't like the Falcons defense anymore.

Speaker B

Sorry.

Speaker A

No worries.

Speaker A

Mostly thinking about streaming defenses or picking up defenses.

Speaker B

There are better options which may be.

Speaker A

In the next one of India.

Speaker A

Houston.

Speaker B

Nah, not this one.

Speaker B

Don't play either of these defenses.

Speaker B

We should see the return of Jonathan Taylor to the Colts this week and the Colts need him.

Speaker B

Anthony Richardson has looked really, really bad.

Speaker B

But the most fantasy points that Houston has given up all year was Week one and that was to Anthony Richardson when he had a healthy Jonathan Taylor and he was healthy as well.

Speaker B

So will we see a repeat of week one in in Houston this week?

Speaker B

I like this game to do that and it'll be interesting.

Speaker B

I know they've both still got some issues with injuries, particularly Houston, but I feel like this is the game that where Richardson has a great game and I never say that.

Speaker B

I'm a Colts fan and I don't like watching Anthony Richardson play and I'm usually really down on him.

Speaker B

I hope both of these two games just like don't come back to get me because I never go for the Falcons and I never go for the Colts and this week I'm like, yeah, Falcons are going to have a great game and the Colts are going to have a great game and you should be starting Anthony Richardson, Jonathan Taylor.

Speaker B

It gets kind of iffy though on the Colts wide receivers because I don't know if it's going to be Michael Pittman if we're going to see Alec Pierce or Josh down.

Speaker B

So I stay away from that mysterious three tiered wide receiver pool on the Houston side.

Speaker A

You kind of have to start Stroud.

Speaker A

I mean there is no kind of similar to what we've discussed with.

Speaker A

You have those top tier options.

Speaker A

You're just going to start them no matter what.

Speaker B

C.J.

Speaker B

stroud, Joe Mixon.

Speaker B

I love Joe Mixon in this game.

Speaker B

Stefan Diggs, Tank Dell, Dalton, Schultz, all starting all of them.

Speaker A

So Tennessee at Detroit.

Speaker A

I feel like Detroit's just going to run all over and score Most of the 45 points for this over under.

Speaker B

I think so.

Speaker B

And they're favored by 11 points.

Speaker B

I don't think we've seen a point spread that big maybe all season.

Speaker B

This is like watching a varsity and a JV team play.

Speaker B

It's going to be ugly.

Speaker B

The only Titan player you could potentially start is Tony Pollard and that's only if you're desperate at running back.

Speaker B

Otherwise, just stay away from the entire Titans side of the ball it gets a little crazy on the Detroit side because are they going to have to do anything?

Speaker B

Are they just going to run Jamar Gibbs and David Montgomery all over the Titans?

Speaker B

The Titans defense hasn't been, I guess it's not been good, but it hasn't been awful.

Speaker B

It's not winning them any games, that's for sure.

Speaker B

But their offense isn't helping them out anyway.

Speaker B

But then it comes into question.

Speaker B

You know, Amon Ra St.

Speaker B

Brown, you gave up a first or second round pick for him.

Speaker B

You want to, you need to start your, your top picks.

Speaker B

And I don't know that he's going to have to do much in this game.

Speaker B

I'm still going to have to start him.

Speaker B

I have him.

Speaker B

I'm starting Amon Ra and crossing my fingers that they decide to test out a few plays and just kind of practice against the Titans and Sam Laporta, their tight end, is the same situation.

Speaker B

The only thing that helps the Lions is the suspension of Jameson Williams, one of their wide receivers.

Speaker B

And he was suspended, I think on Monday for two games for violating the substance abuse policy.

Speaker B

He could appeal and play this weekend, but right now he hasn't appealed.

Speaker B

So if he's out, then I do like Amon Ra a little bit better and Sam Laporta a little bit better.

Speaker A

Do you think that Detroit will kind of pull some of their top players if they, they start getting too far ahead?

Speaker A

I know last week they had the really bad injury when they left and when they left Hutchinson in and they've kind of gotten criticized for that a bit.

Speaker B

We're seeing way too many of the star players get left in these good teams.

Speaker B

And like Chris Godwin, what was he doing in there with 43 seconds left?

Speaker B

They technically could still win it, but at some point you just kind of need to protect your house and your players and go home and regroup for next week with everyone healthy and they had already lost Evan, so.

Speaker B

But you know, that's what we get to do is sit here and criticize what they did last week.

Speaker B

Glad nobody does that to me.

Speaker B

Maybe they do.

Speaker A

You do it to yourself.

Speaker A

That's how it works out.

Speaker A

I think Baltimore, speaking of the game where Godwin was injured, Baltimore is going to be at Cleveland.

Speaker A

Baltimore's favored.

Speaker A

I think that's kind of a no brainer.

Speaker A

Ravens are rolling and we get to see Jamis Winston.

Speaker A

So Cleveland now has a new quarterback.

Speaker B

Yeah, Baltimore is favored by eight and a half.

Speaker B

I think in my head I am, you know, hoping that the Jameis Winston is the Jameis Winston of the past that can just chuck the ball down the field and this gets kind of fun.

Speaker B

I don't know if we're all just living in the past and we're not going to get that, but we're hoping that's what happens in this game and it stays somewhat competitive.

Speaker B

Vegas doesn't think it's going to stay any way sort of competitive at an 8 and a half point spread.

Speaker B

So we did see last week the return of Nick Chubb and he got to score a touchdown.

Speaker B

That was good to see.

Speaker B

So I do like that this game does set up to be pretty one one sided and we'll see if they even let Jameis Winston throw.

Speaker B

They haven't really shown that they want to throw the ball a lot and we're going to get to find out if they're going to be willing to take that risk with Jameis Winston, who I feel is a better quarterback than DeSean Watson was.

Speaker B

You know you're starting Lamar Jackson, you know you're starting Derrick Henry.

Speaker B

Winston might be a good streaming option.

Speaker B

If you're in need of a quarterback.

Speaker B

You probably aren't with no one on by but he, he's possibly there.

Speaker B

He does like to throw interceptions so make sure you're not in a minus two league.

Speaker B

And Cedric Tillman is startable, I feel like at wide receiver because last week he kind of showed with Jameis Winston that he is the one that, that they want to go to.

Speaker B

And of course you're starting David Najoku.

Speaker A

So are you sitting Nick Chubb and Jerry Judy and Jerome Ford then?

Speaker B

I'm sitting Nick Chubb and Jerome Ford for sure.

Speaker B

The Ravens are very difficult to run against so hopefully you have different options because this is not the game to start these two running backs and Jerry Judy just hasn't shown me that he's ready to step up and, and make the plays yet.

Speaker B

So hopefully you have better options than Jerry Judy as well.

Speaker B

I like Tillman more than I like Jerry Judy in this game.

Speaker A

So let's move on to Chicago at Washington.

Speaker B

Yeah, the big question here, will Jaden Daniels play with his rib injury that they say is just a pain tolerance but you know that gets kind of old playing in, in pain.

Speaker B

He didn't practice on Thursday.

Speaker B

My guess is he won't practice and he'll be a game time decision.

Speaker B

The line I feel like here says again he isn't playing.

Speaker B

These lines seem to tell us a whole lot.

Speaker B

Chicago's favored by two and a half and it's in Washington, I have Jaden Daniels.

Speaker B

I've got to make this decision too.

Speaker B

And hopefully you've got another quarterback hanging out there.

Speaker B

Make sure that you do have one because I don't know if he will play.

Speaker B

And then I got caught last week where he went out mid game and after like four points and I almost lost because he went out during the.

Speaker A

Game and luckily had Derrick Henry and won that that week.

Speaker B

Yeah, I had some backup powers there that helped out.

Speaker B

But if, if Jaden Daniels doesn't play Terry McLaurin, you almost can't play him.

Speaker B

Marcus Mariota isn't a viable replacement for Jaden Daniels, especially against a Bears defense that is good.

Speaker B

So if there's no Jaden Daniels, then There's no Terry McLaurin going in as well.

Speaker B

I do like the other side of the ball.

Speaker B

So Caleb Williams and DeAndre Swift, you're starting both of them for sure.

Speaker B

This is a great matchup for them.

Speaker B

And then we get back into, you know, that wide receiver question again.

Speaker B

Is it going to be Keenan Allen?

Speaker B

Is it going to be Romo Dun?

Speaker B

Is it going to be DJ Moore?

Speaker B

And you just kind of have to guess.

Speaker B

It could be all three of them if this gets out of hand, especially if Jaden Daniels is in there.

Speaker B

If he's not, then I just like the running game on both sides here.

Speaker A

What about Carolina at Denver?

Speaker A

I feel like there's not too much here to start.

Speaker B

My gosh, these points spreads are getting crazy.

Speaker B

So we got another nine and a half point game and it's Carolina and Denver.

Speaker B

Bo Nix is favored by nine and a half points.

Speaker B

How bad is Carolina?

Speaker B

Bryce Young is back at the quarterbacks.

Speaker B

So Andy Dalton was in a car accident this week here in Charlotte and he sprained his thumb.

Speaker B

Didn't have to go to the hospital.

Speaker B

Sprained his thumb.

Speaker B

I don't know.

Speaker B

He wasn't looking real good last week anyway.

Speaker B

Maybe that was just an excuse to put Bryce Young back in.

Speaker B

But anyway, they got it.

Speaker B

You're not starting Bryce Young and now I kind of have to wonder if, if you can even start to by Hubbard because the Denver defense is good.

Speaker B

They've.

Speaker B

They're playing well.

Speaker B

So I don't like any side of the Carolina ball with Bryce Young in there.

Speaker B

On the Broncos side you could play Bo Nex it.

Speaker B

It's kind of crazy to say that, but he could run for three touchdowns on the Panthers.

Speaker B

So Bo Necks.

Speaker B

If you need a streaming quarterback, Bonex is probably it.

Speaker B

And Devontae Williams is a must start as well against the Panthers.

Speaker A

What about the Denver defense?

Speaker B

Yeah, Denver defense.

Speaker B

Interceptions, definitely.

Speaker B

This is a defense you want.

Speaker A

Up next, Kansas City at Las Vegas Raiders.

Speaker A

I think that some of these maybe don't start too many people from the Raiders.

Speaker A

And now.

Speaker B

Yeah, you've got to go with Brock Bowers just off of his sheer volume that he gets.

Speaker B

But that's it.

Speaker B

You know, Garner Minshew is back in at quarterback, and I can't really say he's a downgrade.

Speaker B

He's just a different grade of quarterback that you don't want to start.

Speaker B

And every time that Kansas City gets a new wide receiver, I get a little excited that maybe we're going to see like old Patrick Mahomes.

Speaker B

And they got DeAndre Hopkins this week and I'm a little hesitant to speculate how long he can last because it seems like they come in and they get hurt within a week or two.

Speaker B

They're hurt just like juju Smith, Schuster.

Speaker B

He had a great game and then he got hurt.

Speaker B

And I'm hesitant on DeAndre Hopkins.

Speaker B

Plus, it's just his first week in there, so let's give him a game or two to figure things out.

Speaker B

Mahomes last week had 14 fantasy points and he hasn't topped 17 fantasy points this year.

Speaker B

You're going to start him probably because you have to.

Speaker B

I would prefer not to if you have another option because we could just see Cream Hunt and if you have Cream Hunt, you're definitely starting Cream Hunt in this MA matchup and hopefully you've got just other options everywhere else because don't want to start anyone else.

Speaker B

How about you?

Speaker A

I'm kind of in the same boat that I don't really.

Speaker A

I didn't realize that Mahomes had only hadn't had more than 17 fantasy points this season, and I already wasn't looking too much at Kansas City.

Speaker A

I do have to recover since kind of hoping DK Metcalf plays since one of my pickups from the waiver wire in the last couple of weeks had been juju and now juju's injured wide receiver.

Speaker A

Juggling's getting a little difficult here.

Speaker B

It definitely is.

Speaker A

So what about the New York jets at New England Patriots?

Speaker A

Because we had talked about Drake May being a quarterback who was a waiver wire option.

Speaker A

Is this a game I should play him in?

Speaker B

I do like Drake May.

Speaker B

I don't really love him in this game.

Speaker B

So the jets defense has been really good except for last weekend where they just let Russell Wilson, you know, have a day on them, which was really confusing.

Speaker B

So I'm assuming that the jets defense gets it back together and that Drake May isn't.

Speaker B

That isn't going to have a good day.

Speaker B

But if they let Russell Wilson do it, maybe Drake May can do it as well.

Speaker B

I still like Drake May for sure.

Speaker B

And he's been putting up good numbers, better than Patrick Mahomes.

Speaker B

So you gotta make that.

Speaker A

Might be worth the risk.

Speaker B

It might be worth the risk.

Speaker B

On the jets side, Devonte Adams didn't pop in and save Aaron Rodgers, but we'll see if, you know, week two brings a little bit better play out of Devonte Adams, whose hamstring injury is gone.

Speaker B

And then you definitely are starting Breeze hall the running game for the Jets.

Speaker B

So that is definitely a must.

Speaker B

Must start on this.

Speaker B

And then the jets defense, I would start as well.

Speaker B

On the Patriots side, Ramandre Stevenson didn't practice Wednesday with a foot injury and I know he's been battling injuries.

Speaker B

We'll have to wait and see till later in this week if he's going to start or not.

Speaker A

And now we're kind of getting to the bottom of the Games 41, which is kind of surprising for this, this next game 41 over under New Orleans at the LA Chargers.

Speaker A

I mean, is there.

Speaker A

I don't feel like you can play too many people from New Orleans.

Speaker A

Not even Kamara, really.

Speaker B

No, I.

Speaker B

We don't know who's going to be quarterback for New Orleans, so it could be Derek Carr, it could be Spencer Radler.

Speaker B

We don't know.

Speaker B

They've got injuries at wide receiver, so we don't know what's going on there.

Speaker B

Kind of, you know, steers everything towards the run game.

Speaker B

And the Chargers defense looks real, so they're good.

Speaker B

I don't really like the Chargers side that well either.

Speaker B

The only one I'm Starting here is J.K.

Speaker B

dobbins, who could just run all over the New Orleans Saints and have quite a day.

Speaker B

I do like the Chargers defense as well, but that's it.

Speaker A

And then our Monday night game is supposed to be our lowest scoring game of the week.

Speaker A

Maybe they should have switched out the games.

Speaker A

Didn't they do that like coming up in a couple of weeks where there's going to be a.

Speaker A

A new Sunday night game and they moved the original one to a 4pm.

Speaker B

Game they did that week nine?

Speaker B

So we get to watch the Colts in Minnesota for the Sunday night game, but they don't flex them into Monday night.

Speaker B

And we got a real turd of a game here with the New York Giants at Pittsburgh Steelers.

Speaker B

And Pittsburgh's favored by six and a half points.

Speaker B

I guess they're going to go with Russell Wilson again.

Speaker B

This is just ugly.

Speaker B

I don't even know how you get a six and a half point game and a 36 and a half point over under.

Speaker B

But they're basically telling you that the Giants aren't going to score, which I don't quite agree with.

Speaker B

The Steelers haven't shut down people that much.

Speaker B

But the only person you're starting here is Malik Neighbors again, just because of the volume he gets.

Speaker B

Daniel Jones isn't anything special.

Speaker B

The running game's going to probably take a setback with the strong defenses in play here and everyone else is iffy and I don't like Russell Wilson.

Speaker B

Please don't play Russell Wilson and George Pickens.

Speaker B

He could be started, but with caution.

Speaker B

With caution.

Speaker B

With okay, I've got no one else to play and I'm going to play George Pickens.

Speaker A

Yeah, this last week's Giants game was hard to watch and I ended up moving on to another game cause it, it was.

Speaker A

It was difficult.

Speaker A

Not quite what I expected from some of their previous weeks.

Speaker A

I wasn't expecting it as bad as it ended up being.

Speaker A

Um.

Speaker B

Yeah.

Speaker B

And I get to go to bed early both Sunday night and Monday night this week.

Speaker A

Yep.

Speaker A

Get some extra rest, prepare for the next week.

Speaker A

But that's it.

Speaker A

That's all the games.

Speaker A

So I kind of have some idea of who I should be starting or maybe I should be running to the waiver wire and revisiting.

Speaker A

Is there anyone that I could grab last minute?
