Okay, so the following is a live stream that Candice and I
Speaker:did promoting our Impact Quantum Advent
Speaker:Calendar where we find a really cool and fun way to
Speaker:share the some of the insights that we had.
Speaker:It's definitely a lot more fun than your average highlight reel episode,
Speaker:so I encourage you to check it out@impactquantum.com advent
Speaker:calendar. There'll be a link in the show notes and let us know
Speaker:what you think as well as wish you all a very
Speaker:happy and healthy holiday season. And
Speaker:I can't wait to share with you all the cool stuff Candace and I are
Speaker:working on in the new year. So enjoy the show.
Speaker:Hello and welcome to
Speaker:Impact Quantum, an impromptu live episode. If you
Speaker:enjoyed the new dubstep theme song I have from the
Speaker:Frank's World live streams, let me know in the comments below. Wherever
Speaker:you're watching this, be sure to like, share, subscribe all that good stuff.
Speaker:My name is Frank Lavinia
Speaker:and you can catch me at the following URLs
Speaker:and with me is Candace Kahooli, the most
Speaker:quantum curious person I know. I always like to say
Speaker:the most quantum curious supposed. The most curious person I know because, you
Speaker:know, I think I said that on the stream and I was like, wait a
Speaker:minute, that's not right. How you doing?
Speaker:I'm doing great. Thank you so much. I'm actually really excited
Speaker:to join the the live, the live stream today
Speaker:to, you know, talk about what we're doing, you know, what
Speaker:we're doing for the rest of the month and just to say hi to
Speaker:everybody. Yeah. So you may have noticed that there was no
Speaker:show per se, on the usual Monday cycle that we like to be on is
Speaker:because we decided that
Speaker:one creative way to kind of end the season and it's been a successful season.
Speaker:If you look at our numbers. Like it just took off this year. Right. And
Speaker:this is season three and you know, season one and two. I mean, they're worth
Speaker:going back and listening to. But like, I think it really picked up this year.
Speaker:I think it was the addition of Candace for sure,
Speaker:as well as the industry itself has really taken off. Yeah.
Speaker:Starting last December actually with the Google's Willow announcement.
Speaker:And then, then you kind of had this, you know, nothing, nothing drives
Speaker:clicks like controversy. So then you had Willow's announcement
Speaker:of their success they had last December,
Speaker:and then ces
Speaker:where Jensen Wong was trash talking quantum computing. And
Speaker:that went to a back and forth between him, Bill Gates and a bunch of
Speaker:other people. Obviously a lot of people in the quantum
Speaker:quantum industry were not so pleased with that. And then he
Speaker:kind of walked back his comments about a month later
Speaker:at some other major conference.
Speaker:So, you know, so when, when the CEO of a, you
Speaker:know, a 5 trillion dollar company, I haven't checked today if they're still in the
Speaker:fives or in the fours, but, you know, the,
Speaker:the biggest valued company in the world trash
Speaker:talks your industry. It's a problem. Right.
Speaker:Because people listen. Right. And Jensen Wang is, is,
Speaker:you know, I would say 99 of the time,
Speaker:you know, knows what he's talking about. And that extra 1%
Speaker:isn't throwing shade in his direction. It's. He's still
Speaker:human. Right. And
Speaker:speaking of which, there's a really good audiobook I highly recommend.
Speaker:It's called the Nvidia Way. And if
Speaker:you don't have an Audible subscription already, if you go to the data
Speaker:driven book.com, you can get
Speaker:a free subscription on us, basically. Free book on
Speaker:us. And then if you get a subscription, we get a little, A little
Speaker:attaboy on the back from. From Audible.
Speaker:So what are we here to talk about today, Candace? We're
Speaker:talking about our Advent calendar.
Speaker:Yes. And we are super festive
Speaker:because this was actually your idea. I will give you credit for that. Oh,
Speaker:thank you. But frankly, it really, really
Speaker:came from the amazing season that we had.
Speaker:A hundred percent. You and I were talking about doing kind of like a highlights
Speaker:reel for December to
Speaker:kind of give us a breather. Two of my three kids have birthdays in
Speaker:December, plus the holidays and plus, you know, the general kind of
Speaker:urine stuff that I got to do for my day job.
Speaker:And it was kind of like, you know what, let's hold. Let's keep our powder
Speaker:dry until January when we can properly, you know,
Speaker:launch a new season. And we have a lot of cool stuff in store
Speaker:for, for season four. But we also had a lot of
Speaker:cool stuff happen this year. Yeah, I mean, we had 37.
Speaker:37 episodes was season three.
Speaker:And, you know, and when you think about
Speaker:the conversations that we had back in March. Right.
Speaker:You know, and, and so relevant, so exciting.
Speaker:And I just wanted to kind of take everything that we did,
Speaker:kind of mix it all up and say, let's just grab,
Speaker:you know, 24 highlights that
Speaker:we, you know, we don't want people to forget and make that,
Speaker:you know, a sweet little clip for every day,
Speaker:you know, with something festive. And then that's how we're going to
Speaker:highlight what we did in our podcast this season.
Speaker:Absolutely. And each one of them is a YouTube
Speaker:short and an article
Speaker:Right now, if you want to look at them, you got to go to our
Speaker:LinkedIn page because that's where we're posting them.
Speaker:And here's one. Let me know if you hear the audio cameras. Okay.
Speaker:Welcome to day one of the Impact Quantum Advent Calendar. Today's
Speaker:clip is on Schrodinger's graduate student. Quantum AI with Michael
Speaker:Magid. So what is, Jeff, do you think is the biggest miss?
Speaker:So we basically have a little short and then we have a link to the
Speaker:full episode and stuff like that. If you're, if you're, if you're that inspired to
Speaker:listen to the whole thing because, you know, again, we do want to, we do
Speaker:want to boost our numbers, but also
Speaker:learn the whole. Because I, you know, we highlighted these clips of
Speaker:conversations because we think they're important. And we also have an article kind of talking
Speaker:about the real kind of lesson from this. Right,
Speaker:right now that's the best place to go. The
Speaker:next best place to go is going to be when this is completed.
Speaker:Because this was also Candace's idea
Speaker:was how come we don't have a website where we can have this all. And
Speaker:this is big shout out to Enterprise DNA or
Speaker:NDNA who is sponsoring it this year.
Speaker:And big shout out to them.
Speaker:Thank you so much. Thank you so much. Right. We
Speaker:are still working on this. I'm actually Vibe coding it, which again, this
Speaker:isn't sponsored, but this is a perfect. I love this energy drink.
Speaker:So this is Arctic Vibe. I thought
Speaker:what better way to Vibe code with this?
Speaker:So you'll see, like, you know, we have the different days and stuff like that.
Speaker:But like, how long honestly did you take Vibe coding that. It was really
Speaker:impressive. It was really quick. I would say 15
Speaker:minutes for the initial structure and then the enhancements and stuff like that. The
Speaker:hard part is now where I really have to pay attention because that's the one
Speaker:thing I noticed about Vibe coding. You really have to pay attention to what it's
Speaker:doing, right? It just can't be like this one off window to the
Speaker:side. I mean, it can be because that's how I've been doing it, but you
Speaker:really have to pay attention to what you're prompt it because like, if you. It
Speaker:could easily get confused. And I would
Speaker:say the first initial framework was within like 30,
Speaker:15, 20 minutes. Right. And then
Speaker:kind of like it does seem to, it does seem to
Speaker:track with typical kind of development projects where like
Speaker:the last 20% of the project takes 80% of the time. It
Speaker:has that kind of xenon is It Xenon's Pirate Ox. I
Speaker:forget what it is, but, like, basically, the further along you go,
Speaker:the slower progress is.
Speaker:And so this is gonna be. I'm still
Speaker:working on getting, like, the links to stuff like that, and I have the pictures
Speaker:and we have.
Speaker:So you'll be able to click on it and kind of like all the stuff
Speaker:you would see in the article or most of the stuff you'll see in the
Speaker:article will be here. Right. So if you remember nothing else,
Speaker:you should, of course, you know, follow us on LinkedIn.
Speaker:But in the absence of that, if you go to
Speaker:impactquantum.com advent calendar, this is going to be continually
Speaker:worked on. I'm hoping to have it finished
Speaker:in the next couple days. Before we complete the first row here,
Speaker:I want to have it done and dusted and polished.
Speaker:No, I think it's great. I think it's great. And. And the fun part is,
Speaker:like I said, you get to go back and then listen. And
Speaker:the numbers have been really great.
Speaker:Now that I see we're highlighting specific episodes again
Speaker:and, you know, like, the first episode again was talking
Speaker:about essentially, the one thing you
Speaker:need in this field is a healthy
Speaker:dose of curiosity. Yes. And that was the first one,
Speaker:Michael Magid, we had a great conversation with him
Speaker:and really kind of like the key lesson there was
Speaker:if you think you understand quantum physics, you don't understand quantum physics,
Speaker:right? So, like, the whole thing of. Because for most people, this is a new
Speaker:field, right. Unless you're already studying
Speaker:physics or particle physicists.
Speaker:Particle physicists. This is new to you. Like, most normal
Speaker:people don't deal with this on a daily basis. Most
Speaker:people don't study this. Right. And it's hard
Speaker:stuff. The math is pretty wacky. The. The concepts
Speaker:behind it are so counterintuitive to how we experience the world
Speaker:at the. What they call it, the
Speaker:mesometric level. I think that was the. That was the.
Speaker:The SAT word for the day, right. So the
Speaker:idea is that, you know, there's three kind of
Speaker:sizes of things, right? There's the world we experience, right?
Speaker:That's meso. Meso is middle metric is measure. Right. So there's that.
Speaker:There's that Jesuit education where they forced me to study
Speaker:Latin and Greek, paying off that this many years
Speaker:later. There you go. And
Speaker:then there's kind of like what happens at the scale of planets and black holes
Speaker:and galaxies, right. It's slightly different than what we would
Speaker:experience. And then there's also at the
Speaker:subatomic level. Right. And those words, I Forget. But
Speaker:basically, you know, so the world we experience on a day to day
Speaker:basis is a very different world than you would experience in
Speaker:quantum space. Although as we've kind of progressed through
Speaker:the season, particularly in the last couple episodes, where we talk about quantum
Speaker:chemistry and quantum biology, well, maybe, just
Speaker:maybe some of the things we experience in our biology, in our
Speaker:lives do have some kind of underlying quantum explanation,
Speaker:right? Oh, absolutely. That's why I got so excited when we
Speaker:were talking to quantum biologist and
Speaker:then, and then when we were talking with, with Natasha and she's
Speaker:a, she's a quantum chemist. You know, it's, it's in the
Speaker:very molecules, in the very atoms, the very
Speaker:fundamental pieces of our universe of who
Speaker:we are are in fact quantum
Speaker:and run in a quantum way. And
Speaker:the fact that nature has existed and
Speaker:there are so many elements of quantum, you know, that are going on
Speaker:in nature and have been going on far longer than we have been
Speaker:knowledgeable, that that's actually what is happening.
Speaker:Right, right, right. And you know, we've had a lot of great
Speaker:conversations about that. And
Speaker:so I actually, I didn't tell you this yet, Candace,
Speaker:because it just happened yesterday. So inside my day job, I work at Red
Speaker:Hat, right. And that explains why there's a fedora over there.
Speaker:But we have a quantum interest group
Speaker:internally in the company and the, one of the organizers of it, she, she's doing
Speaker:a grad program actually in, in quantum computing.
Speaker:Okay. And she, part of her assignment is
Speaker:to, to talk to people in industry. And then she's
Speaker:like, can you talk to me about, you know, you know, like what she asked
Speaker:me, like, why we started the podcast and stuff like that kind of. It was
Speaker:an interesting conversation and it was,
Speaker:I was telling her about like, you know, quantum biology, right? Like, you know,
Speaker:that, you know, the, the fact
Speaker:that almonds smells like
Speaker:cyanide, right. Kind of an odd thing for them
Speaker:to smell the same. And one of, one of the leading theories, I don't know
Speaker:if it was ever confirmed, but the outer electron shell for both
Speaker:those chemicals, I
Speaker:forget what it's called, but the thing that makes almonds smell like almonds,
Speaker:right, Whatever that is, has the same electron shell
Speaker:shape as
Speaker:cyanide, right. Obviously two very different, otherwise different
Speaker:chemical structures with different radically different effects. But
Speaker:the fact that, you know, our noses kind of see them as similar
Speaker:kind of says something about our sense of smell, right. And
Speaker:that maybe it is, maybe it is somehow measuring quantum effects, which
Speaker:then has all kinds of other implications for, you
Speaker:know, the whole notion that we don't experience quantum
Speaker:kind of realities at, you know, mesometric scale.
Speaker:There's, there's that sat word again, kids.
Speaker:But it's true. It's like, you know, this, and also we, we, we
Speaker:talked about how the, this, the, this sense of smell,
Speaker:eyesight, you know, perceiving
Speaker:of color on wavelengths. You know,
Speaker:we talked about taste. Yep. You know, you have those
Speaker:people who, like me, who think that
Speaker:cilantro tastes like soap. Oh, really?
Speaker:Interesting. It's a genetic thing. Like there's literally
Speaker:like a gene that people have that, that turns that on or
Speaker:turns it off, supposedly. And it's funny because, you know, I,
Speaker:I, I, I have it, my husband has it,
Speaker:and therefore both of our children have it. Everybody thinks
Speaker:cilantro tastes like so here. But you
Speaker:know, again, the fact that some people have it, other people don't,
Speaker:and that's a whole other kind of quantum reality, which
Speaker:is just fantastic. Right, right, right. And I think
Speaker:that's exciting because in the virtual green room for this
Speaker:conversation you were talking about, we're not going to reveal too much,
Speaker:but there's a quantum sensing startup you
Speaker:were talking with. Oh, so, and, and you were like, oh, I
Speaker:just, just talking to a geologist. And I'm like, geologist?
Speaker:It's got to be some kind of quantum sensing thing. And you were like, yes,
Speaker:that's exactly what they're doing. Right. Because if you could detect whether it's, you know,
Speaker:oil, gold, you know, other things that are
Speaker:of value.
Speaker:I'll never forget the first quantum conference I went to, which was
Speaker:earlier this year. I went
Speaker:to and, and one of the, one of the speakers was like, you know,
Speaker:how many people here are into quantum planting? And, you
Speaker:know, nobody raised their hands. And he's like, I'm really surprised at that because of
Speaker:all the implications that you can have with quantum sensing, whether it's,
Speaker:you know, drone detection, stealth
Speaker:defeating, stealth systems or submarine detection.
Speaker:He's like, I'm in dc, I would expect that there would be a lot more
Speaker:of that. He goes, but, you know, where you're really seeing a lot of this,
Speaker:at least in the public sphere, is, you know, oil discovery, you know,
Speaker:know, kind of like detecting stuff underground. It's
Speaker:an interesting, it's an interesting field. And I think that,
Speaker:I think that we are really on the cusp of something big in, in
Speaker:that world. Oh,
Speaker:I think so. And the other thing that I can't, that is a very public
Speaker:thing is there's a place in Cherbourg, Quebec
Speaker:called QV Labs. And
Speaker:actually the the gentleman that I spoke to yesterday said, you know,
Speaker:you. You need to call up there and you need to go take yourself a
Speaker:little trip to Sherbrooke and go see this place. And
Speaker:it's. It's an incubator for Quantum. For
Speaker:quantum startups. Interesting. She give him a free copy of our
Speaker:book. Absolutely. The Quantum sales playbook.
Speaker:Yes. And I will say, like, anyone who is a
Speaker:nice. You like the Fordham reference? Dave Whitney. Holy
Speaker:moly. I went to school with this guy.
Speaker:That's freaking awesome, man. Fordham represent, baby.
Speaker:Yeah, Dave. Dave's an OG computer guy. He's actually
Speaker:fun story. So I know this is a sidetrack, but
Speaker:Dave could tell you this. I've been sidetracking my entire life.
Speaker:It was his Sun Spark workstation
Speaker:that I first saw Mosaic running. And for
Speaker:kids today, anyone born,
Speaker:Anyone born in the 90s will know what Netscape is. Right? But if you don't
Speaker:know what Netscape is, I feel really old. But if you don't know with.
Speaker:If you don't know, it was basically the first graphical
Speaker:browser, basically, I saw on his Spark
Speaker:Netscape thing. And I remember having a whole conversation with him, like, how do I
Speaker:get this on my Macintosh or my PC back in
Speaker:my. Back in my place? And the answer was not what
Speaker:I wanted. It was. It was a lot of money, basically.
Speaker:At least a lot of 1990s money. But, dude, that's
Speaker:awesome, man. I told you. I. I
Speaker:went on. I was on the Internet for the first time, you know,
Speaker:before aol. I have really
Speaker:good friend shout out to Scott Nanis,
Speaker:who was, you know, an Apple genius, before
Speaker:there was a Genius bar, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker:We're old Oats. Remember before there were Apple retail stores?
Speaker:Yeah, that nice. And he took. He took
Speaker:my phone that I had at Columbia and he jerry rigged
Speaker:that into my computer. And the phone was a modem.
Speaker:Oh, yeah, that would have been. That would have been an engineering feat.
Speaker:This is probably late 90s, I would say, right? Yes, exactly. And that was just
Speaker:so exciting. So, like, I'm like, oh, my gosh, you know, what's the
Speaker:Internet like? You know, everything is, you know, black and green. You know,
Speaker:it's really just an eye opener to what was. What
Speaker:was possible. Right. Remember I told you I got emailed my dad and he called
Speaker:me up and he's like, oh, my God, you're going to get in trouble. Oh,
Speaker:that's right. Emailed him. Yes. He's like, how did you find out my email
Speaker:address? I was like, I don't know, I just kind of figured it's your name
Speaker:at IBM. And there you go. And then he's like, I only talk to the
Speaker:military. Like, what are you doing emailing me? I'm like, okay,
Speaker:I just figured out how. How about we be impressed? Right?
Speaker:Well, that was. That was the vibe back then. Yeah. Dave,
Speaker:I'll. I'll hit you up on LinkedIn or message later, because I
Speaker:don't think I have any of her phone numbers because I still have my Jersey
Speaker:phone number from when I lived in Jersey and It's been like 21 years.
Speaker:Which, again, speaking of feeling old.
Speaker:I have my Westchester. I have. I have my. That's what. You still have your.
Speaker:You still have your New York thing? Yeah, yeah. My New York cell phone number
Speaker:that I've now made my international cell phone number. Because once in
Speaker:New York are always a New Yorker. Like, that's born and bred, right? I walk
Speaker:around Montreal, Quebec, and then I start talking and they're like, who are you? I.
Speaker:And I'm like, oh, God. When I. When I speak French, it's really
Speaker:butchered. Because my grandfather was from Montreal
Speaker:and, like, and he was a country boy from. I guess it was still kind
Speaker:of rural. He's where he was from. And
Speaker:so it's kind of like country boy, French Canadian,
Speaker:plus an American New York accent thrown on top of that,
Speaker:because he never really taught my dad and never really taught me. I know all
Speaker:the bad words, though, because he would always fight with, like, he had this one
Speaker:lawnmower. He lived in Staten island where he actually
Speaker:did have a lawn, but the Lawn was
Speaker:maybe 20ft by 6ft.
Speaker:I don't know what that. I know what that is in Freedom Units, but I
Speaker:don't know what that is in metric, but it's not very big. And
Speaker:it took him like, you didn't really even need a mower to do it. Like,
Speaker:you could do like a push mower. But, like, no, he bought this thing, like,
Speaker:I guess in the 50s,
Speaker:and he kept that thing running barely. So you would
Speaker:take him like, half an hour to get the thing started, and then two minutes
Speaker:actually mow, like, the small piece of grass. Right. He's proud. He should
Speaker:be proud. And like. But, like, during those
Speaker:30 minutes, you would get a lesson in French Canadian
Speaker:profanity that.
Speaker:It'S all religious. 90 is religious. So. So it's funny, right? So, like, you know,
Speaker:I remember hearing the word tabernacle
Speaker:said, and it's a whole. It's a whole thing. Yeah.
Speaker:And the nun said it in church. Right. Because I went to, you know,
Speaker:Catholic school and. And I was just like. Did she just say.
Speaker:I mean, it's like the equivalent of the F word, basically,
Speaker:or other words that I'm not going to say on the stream.
Speaker:And I remember. I remember thinking like. And like,
Speaker:there were not a lot of other French Canadian kids in my
Speaker:neighborhood. In fact, there were none. Right.
Speaker:I look around, and for my ears, I hear
Speaker:basically something like the F word or another
Speaker:bad word that equivalent of offense said by a
Speaker:nun in church. Right. And I'm looking around and I'm
Speaker:the only one who noticed. Which really does a weird thing to a
Speaker:fifth grader's head. Where. Right. Yeah.
Speaker:It's about the same age where all the kids. And I can't say it on
Speaker:the stream, but they all learn how to say seal.
Speaker:Oh, and steal. When you. When it really sounds like
Speaker:the F curse. And they all walk around, they're in
Speaker:hilarity. That they learn that in school. Right. I keep on seeing.
Speaker:So you see all my boxes that are behind me. I noticed that. But that's
Speaker:Christmas. I was gonna say. Yeah, that will also
Speaker:end. Kids, birthday, like you talked about. Birthday. My son is
Speaker:born December 30th. Oh, that's right. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker:He's like, I get. Every year, I get. I get jabbed.
Speaker:You put the Christmas and the Hanukkah and. And the birthday
Speaker:all together. And I'm like, well, you want like three. Three little slippy
Speaker:things or you want like a nice, really good present. Right? You know? Right,
Speaker:right, right, right, right. Yeah. And plus a birthday, like. Yeah. So two.
Speaker:So. So. So Dave points out that the 917 area code and the
Speaker:212 are coveted. That is true, man. Okay. I have a 914.
Speaker:Right. Well, that's Westchester. That's a Westchester thing. But there's a whole bunch of
Speaker:new area codes that have been added since I left. There's like. And I'm get.
Speaker:I see them. Hell is that? And then, like, you
Speaker:can ask. I don't want to say her name, but there's a voice assistant
Speaker:from Amazon. If I say, you can always ask her, she'll tell you.
Speaker:But.
Speaker:So. So Dave may not know this, but I have since. Since I've last spoke
Speaker:to Dave. I now have three kids, all boys. And two of
Speaker:those boys have birthdays in December. So basically the back half of December
Speaker:is a complete blowout. Right. So which is good because I always save my
Speaker:PTO for that. Yeah. And you can make it Special. You
Speaker:just, you know, it, it's. That's why I tell everybody I'm done
Speaker:shopping. And I'm very, very proud of that. Like, I've gotten all my shopping
Speaker:done. I make sure that I am not buying anything else after December 1st
Speaker:because I have another. I have a daughter who's born in mid
Speaker:October. Right. So once, I'm sorry, mid November. So once, like.
Speaker:Oh, you kind of like getting to that birthday gift shopping thing. Yeah, I have
Speaker:not done anything. Right. I have not done anything this year
Speaker:yet, so. Although. What? That's why
Speaker:there's the boxes behind me. So that's why the box is behind you. Yeah, I,
Speaker:I know my gift is there. That's the DGX Spark. I'm not
Speaker:even gonna ask for anything else for Christmas, but
Speaker:I typically panic around when, when, when we get to December 10th, I'm like,
Speaker:oh, that's usually when. Which is better than December
Speaker:24th. Right? So, you know, baby steps. Well, you've probably already
Speaker:ordered it if you're. Maybe you're just waiting for it to come in the mail,
Speaker:but you know. Yeah, yeah, I actually, so actually
Speaker:this is a fun story. So. So someone at work shout out to you. Jonathan
Speaker:had sent me Nvidia. I should probably pull it
Speaker:up, but Nvidia has a deal on some of their robotic stuff. And my
Speaker:oldest is really into robotics. And
Speaker:you know, I basically told him, I'm like, oh, well,
Speaker:I probably should have read the email and the website more thoroughly because
Speaker:the first item on the list is like a two, three thousand dollar thing
Speaker:discounted from five thousand. So, you know. Okay.
Speaker:But they had like the jets and nanos and stuff like that,
Speaker:which you can plug into a robotics unit.
Speaker:I was like, I was like, do you want, you know, if you
Speaker:want something for that? But he's only interested in stuff that applies to the robotics
Speaker:competitions. Okay. And I don't think that that qualifies, but I'm like,
Speaker:I'm like, dude, if you want it, right, you know, your birthday and
Speaker:Christmas are here and it's on sale. Right. So. Right, right.
Speaker:But that's cool that he wants to, he wants to do the competitions. I
Speaker:know, it's really interesting and the reason, I've always thought that was really compelling.
Speaker:All right, I'm gonna be the dad that like, oh, like, brags on his
Speaker:kid. He's a captain of one of their teams now.
Speaker:Frank, that's fantastic. It's just absolutely fantastic. But I wanted to mention is that I
Speaker:had spoken to two people who were Going to be airing the episodes
Speaker:in season four. And both of them got their opportunities
Speaker:to get involved in, in Quantum companies through hackathons.
Speaker:Yep. And you know, that is, you know, very much
Speaker:how some of these companies are looking for their talent,
Speaker:you know, so it's great that he wants to start kind of competing in that
Speaker:arena. That's very exciting. It's a very exciting and very
Speaker:fulfilling, you know, pathway for sure. That's great.
Speaker:That's great. I am looking
Speaker:because I have this shirt on Quantum.
Speaker:I am looking. And apparently it was removed from the.
Speaker:Oh no, it's not totally removed.
Speaker:Let's see.
Speaker:It is an Amazon merch. But I'm looking for the US one.
Speaker:Oh, okay, here we go. Here's the US one. I
Speaker:will share that.
Speaker:There you go. Oh, okay. I will put a link in the
Speaker:description for that. We do kind of have a merch store. Do we?
Speaker:Data driven. I need to,
Speaker:I need to clean this up actually.
Speaker:Yeah, this is one of my designs, Coaxes for boomers.
Speaker:Okay. I had a whole discussion when we bought, when we bought this
Speaker:house that. Oh yeah, Dave. I also, since we last spoke,
Speaker:I moved to a different state actually, several times. But.
Speaker:Yeah, you've moved several times since Fordham, for sure.
Speaker:Yeah. Internationally too.
Speaker:Let's see.
Speaker:I don't know where I was going with this, but yes, we do have a
Speaker:merch store and I do have to organize it. Shame on me if I'm not
Speaker:getting it done by this. But I do love my Quantum
Speaker:Quantum beltway shirt. This is what was originally designed for.
Speaker:And I know you have to go soon, so. As do I. I have a
Speaker:80 page document, training document I have to review in check.
Speaker:I also do have to vibe code. They're not sponsoring us, but good
Speaker:Lord, I wish they would. Man, just send Case. I'll be happy. Yeah, we should
Speaker:talk to them. And
Speaker:yeah, so. So again, look, we, we really,
Speaker:we want to do something special to, to highlight what
Speaker:we were able to do in 2025.
Speaker:And you know, we know everybody's super busy
Speaker:in December wrapping up their year. But you know what, it's also
Speaker:just a really great time to just, you know, take a little break and say,
Speaker:you know, let me learn a little quick something. You know, let me hear
Speaker:what, let me hear what they're talking about. I mean, I have learned so
Speaker:much. Seriously. And that's what the, the shout out to
Speaker:you to my fellow Red
Speaker:Hatter. And. But like, that was the thing
Speaker:I told her. I was like, you know, like, honestly, like, I learn so
Speaker:much from each episode that I get so much out of it. It's
Speaker:just like, I can't help but do it now, you know? Yeah. And
Speaker:I'm really excited to take everything that I learned and then adapt it into the
Speaker:next season because it's. It's just. It's. It's just really, really
Speaker:exciting. It's really, really is. And it's so relevant.
Speaker:And, you know, that's why when you're seeing, you know, everyone, it took a while
Speaker:to start seeing AI on the news, right? And AI
Speaker:is on the news every night. And now, you know, it's
Speaker:not every night, but now you're seeing AI and Quantum. And so it's
Speaker:really exciting to see, you know, the
Speaker:progression and the augmentation of what's
Speaker:happening, you know, in. In the whole ecosystem. It's just
Speaker:fascinating stuff. So I'm really, really glad that we did this. I'm
Speaker:really 100. So go check it out. Join us now.

Speaker:that's. That's our holiday special,
Speaker:right? It's a holiday special. Like, no, There you go. No singing
Speaker:wookies or anything like that.
Speaker:That's a deep cut from the 70s I don't think kids today will get. But,
Speaker:yeah, that's our holiday special. That's what we'll call this episode on the
Speaker:podcast. Okay. Impact Quantum Holiday special. Maybe next year
Speaker:we'll have a singing routine. I don't know. You
Speaker:can only hope or. Or. Or. Or fear. I don't know.
Speaker:Exactly. Exactly. Right. Exactly. All right, I'll play out the
Speaker:outro animation and catch you later. You got it.
Speaker:Thank you so much.
