Hello podcast fam, as you gathered from the title of this episode, we are diving into chill sales. This is something I've been talking about a lot. Um, one, because we have an upcoming masterclass, the art of chill sales is running on August 22nd. It will be live and, um, there will be a lifetime access replay. If you want to get inside of that, you can just DM me over on Instagram at Michelle Hartz, man, I get asked all the time, Michelle, I love the way you. the, how is this? So chill and are you really chill? Like, are, is that like real like, do you feel chill? I could ask this question all the time. So I figured we need to have a whole podcast episode on it. Um, and I wanna give you a little bit of a backstory of how this came about, why I sell the way that I do. Um, and really how to implement this into your own business. If this is something that you're wanting to do, if you're wanting sales to feel easier, if you're wanting them to feel lighter, if you are wanting to just sell from like a place where it feels really true to you feels honest to you, and it's not just like, I'm gonna show up and say this perfect thing, cuz this is the thing that I hope is what's gonna make them buy it's. Your method, it's, it's your way. And it's chill. It's chill. Um, again, we're gonna be covering this on the deepest level inside of the art of chills masterclass. So if you wanna get in there again, you can, you can message me, but for today, we're gonna go through like the basics and the foundations of chill sales. So for me, Chill sales really came about after 2020, when my business model I had scaled and I'm using air quotes. When I say that I had scaled, but really what my business model was. Was launching all the time. I was literally launching every single month, if not every other month. And I wasn't making money inside the business if I wasn't launching. And that was an easy street to burn out. What had happened was my business grew, I went from six figures to multiple six figures and I was like, whoa, this is cool. And like, money felt awesome. Like that was more money than I had ever made in my. I was really proud of that. I was so excited, but when that year had ended, I looked at my partner and I was like, you know, con I'm really tired. I'm really tired. And it just got to the point where. Launching endlessly. All of the time was really exhausting for me. Selling felt hard when you see people that are like sell every single day. I remember hearing that back then and I like believe that I Tru I truly believe that I believe I believed that for years, but back then in 2020, it felt just like really hard. And I felt like I was just coming up with new offers to come up with them, to have something to launch that would make me money because again, I wasn't making money if I wasn't launching. And I really hit my breaking point in early 2021 and was like, if this, like, there has to be another way. There has to be. I'm just somebody that does not wanna have a business model that requires launching all the time. I just, I just don't want that. That's not what I want. I don't wanna have a business model that requires me to create new offers all the time. If I wanna create new offers and I wanna sell them, I will, but I want it to be a choice. I don't want it to be a have to, and I don't want my income to be dependent on that. And that's really where I had the get in tune with like, okay, well, what do I want, what do I actually want in a perfect world? how would this look? And for me at that time in a perfect world, how would this look? I could just show up and sell whatever I wanna sell when I wanna sell it and it's sell out. Okay. And I really had to ask myself, okay, well, how can I do this without launching? And for me, what that looked like is pre-selling offers knowing when they're coming. Looking months ahead in the business. I'm normally somebody, if you've listened to other podcast episodes, you've heard this. If you're new to me. Welcome. I'm so glad that you're here. I normally look at my business three to four months in advance, sometimes two to three months, just depending on what's going on in my world. But I normally know what's coming the next 2, 3, 4 months. Um, now do I allow my intuition to shift and change things? Yes, of course. Do I pivot when life happens? Yes, of course. I'm not somebody that. This is how it has to be. We can't change it. That's not how I run my business. That's too hard. That's too heavy. That's too structured. Um, so I love having structure with some play. And so what I started doing was looking at 2, 3, 4 months in advance and knowing what was coming, I started looking at, okay, if this offer's coming in two months from now, I can start pre-selling that. And then I can public sell it for like a week or two and then run that offer. Or I could sell it for a whole month if I wanted to, and then run that offer. And that's really where the art of chill sales started to be born. As I started to play with this 2021 for me was really a year of. experimenting. And I experimented that whole year to really find my quote unquote unlaunched process. I have a whole program that teaches you this. Um, it's called at capacity. If you wanna get inside of that, it's completely passive. Now you can just message me on Instagram. It's a life changing program. If you're wanting to not launch and have a different structure, um, to really unlaunch, it walks you through that step by step. But throughout 2021, I was doing this. I was experimenting and I was looking at what's working. What's not working. What do I love about these processes that I'm doing? What do I hate? And I kept coming back to the question of how can I make this easier? And that's something that I want you to ask yourself in your business all the time. I ask myself this question all of the time, okay. If this worked, how can I make this easier? How can I replicate this? So often what we do is we do something that works. And then we don't look at it and then we're not, we don't understand why it worked. We're just doing it because someone told you to do it. Maybe your business mentor said, Hey, let's try this. And then you're not really sure why it worked or how it worked, um, so that you can replicate it again in the future and have it work inside of different offers, in different things that you're selling. This is something I'm really big on with my clients, my mastermind clients, and my one to one clients. They will always hear me say, and this is why we'll do this. And this is why we do. and I'll always teach 'em from a sales psychology standpoint. This is why this is why this works. And the reason for that is because I want them to understand why and how it's working, so that if one day they're not working with me, they can replicate it and see that same success. And this is something that's going to allow sales to be easier sales, to be quote unquote. Chill, because you're understanding what you're doing, how you're doing it, why you're doing it. You're also understanding what works. What's not working, what you love, what's easier and how to replicate it. And this was something again, I was doing all throughout 2021 and people started noticing people are like Michelle doesn't launch. My clients were like, Michelle, you're not launching offers, but you're selling out offers. And people started noticing Michel. You're selling out offers months in advance. We mastered this so well in 2021 that before we even got close to 2021, I think it was October. Um, it might have been November, but I think it was October I'm like 99% sure on this in October of 2021, we had already had six figures plus contracted for 20, 22 before the year. Because of what I was doing inside of my business, I had mastered this without launching at all inside of 2021 programs were selling out more than ever before. Programs were filling easier programs were selling months in advance. And we just had so much recurring revenue coming in for months. And I was like, I really mastered something here. And that's where. Chill sales. The art of chill sales was really born, was through that year of experimenting. And so with today's episode, what I want you to gain from this is if you are doing things in your business that are not serving you, that you're doing them just to do them and they're not working. We wanna pivot. We can change them if you're launching, just to launch, because you were taught this beautifully mapped out launch plan with your launch calendar and say this thing and talk about this thing for the next five days. Yeah. You guys know how it goes. And you're like, just going through the motions, it's going to feel harder. That was something I realized is the more I went through the motions in my business, I was doing shit just to do it. Cuz I was told to the harder business felt the harder sales felt, the slower people joined, offered the more cricket I had in my DMS. And so this is something I really want you to start thinking. This is a thought provoking episode for you to think about what do I want my business to actually look like? But more importantly, what do I want it to feel like? And how can I simplify things to make it work better for me to yield a better outcome and have it work for the long term and have it be repeatable right now, everything we do inside of my business is repeat. I know how my consumers buy. It's intentional, the way in which I sell is all intentional. And it's really. it's really easy and I'm always experimenting with new things and if it works great, we're gonna replicate it. We're gonna keep note of that. And if it doesn't, we're like, okay, noted. Maybe we can try it this way. And these are things I want you to start playing with in your business. What we do in business, when it comes to sales is we take things so serious and I understand this. Like I'm not, I don't take sales lightly. I don't take money lightly. You guys know this, especially if you're full-time entrepreneur. I understand your business funds. And I want your business to massively fund your life. And I believe to my core that when you are doing things that you love, and you're not just showing up to show up, you're not just using systems to use them. And you're like really in love with your sales process and how you're doing things and how you're selling. And it feels natural. It feels simpler. It feels good on your nervous system, you trust your process. It's going to yield a greater result. It's going to make you more money long term. And so with this, from a strategic standpoint, some things that I did do in my business in this process that I still do, and that I work with my high level mastermind clients and my fierce mastermind and my one to one clients is just something that we do on the deepest level. What we do to create from a system standpoint, from a strategy standpoint, really easy and chill sales. Is we intentionally set up the business to be able to sell, to have everything, sell everything you guys have heard me say that multiple times, if you've been in my world for a while, you see that in my content everywhere. If you're new here, you're going to hear me say that all the time, because I believe everything gets to sell everything inside of a business. I believe that whether you're on social or not, sales could be coming in. I believe that no matter what you're doing, money can be coming. Without sales calls, um, without sales pages, without showing up all day, every day. And so something that I really decided to do in my business, We hear the word funnel. Right? Um, I think that that word is scary. I don't like the word funnel. If somebody were to be like, yeah, Michelle, hire me. We're gonna build out your funnel. I'd be like, no no, thank you. I don't wanna do that. Um, so when I say the word funnel for today's process for today's podcast, what I mean is what I've done in my business. And what I do with my clients is we build a funnel and it's not even building really, um, it's not like emails and all this complicated stuff behind the scenes. What I think about when I think of a funnel, it's a simple process to lead people through your offers in a natural way. that's it. And it's like all the way from first impression to purchasing everything that you have. That's literally what my business is built upon and that's why it works so well. I have women that come in and buy like a 57 thing and they'll buy a $12,000 thing. I have women that will buy a $400 thing and then they'll buy a $15,000 thing. I've had women pay $88 for a masterclass, and then Joan $12,000 programs. I've had women join $2,000 programs and then join $8,000 programs. Like it, it works, it works. And I wouldn't be teaching this and I wouldn't be talking about this if it didn't work. And I don't send a ton of emails, I only send them when I want to. And mainly. We're sending them to let you know that we put out new podcast episodes and what's up in my life. I don't do a ton of landing pages mainly because I know that my consumer doesn't need them. Um, you guys read them and they're cool if I have them, you'll read them. But also I know you'll message me, or I know you'll just click the Lincoln by because you know, that everything I put out is amazing. And that's another, that's another side of things that I'm gonna be talking about in the RF chill sales masterclass. really building a reputation on everything that you're putting out will sell everything. Um, but for today's purposes, what, what we do to have more money coming in, everything, sell everything which ultimately yields to chill sales is having offers that make sense for every step of the consumer journey. It makes sense, and it doesn't need to look like someone else's journey. It doesn't need to look like, and what I call this? What, like we've trademarked this in my business is the half moon. This is the half moon method. You've probably heard me talk about this. I've talked about this in my Facebook group before, by the way, we have an awesome free Facebook community that I go live in support in I'm in there almost every day is an incredible community that linkage in the show notes, highly recommend joining there. Um, if you're just finding me or you're not, you wanna be more in my world, which is a really great place to be outside of the podcast, found with this, what we do inside the half moon method. is we're not creating like all these scattered off offers that don't seamlessly lead into one another. We're being intentional about what we're creating and we're, Uncomplicate things where there is no need to overcomplicate your business. And what I had found, um, is, and what I see is like, when people have like really random offers and they were just like creating this and this and this and this and this, and this is, it actually cuts off cash flow in a major way. I have clients that sell. Different offers every single month, but what's intentional about it. I'm not saying you can't sell different offers every month. I have clients that do that and they make so much money, but the way in which we do that is intentional. It's intentional for me to come into your offer in June and then be like, oh, well now I need the next thing. And now I need the next thing. They're flowing into one another. So many people don't do this and then they cut off cash flow in a major way. Sales show really hard. And it's like people aren't buying people. Aren't staying, sales are only happening if I show up. Um, and I have to show up really like all the time, I've gotta talk on my stories. I've gotta go live. I've gotta do this. I've gotta do this. That's not chill sales. And so there's a lot of intentionality behind this and when, when we can master this and when, when we can do this intentionally inside of our. It won't require you to be online all the time. It won't require you to do new things. It won't require you to sell all the time. I believe selling is a choice. I, I do believe you can sell every day, 99% of the time. I am selling every day, but I also will sometimes not sell every day and I'll sell when I feel like it. And if I don't, I won't and people will still buy. That is the art of chill sales. That doesn't stop sales from coming in when I'm not quote unquote on that doesn't stop sales from coming in because I have a simple funnel. All of my offers lead to the next and my sales processes work. People are always resigning. People are always upgrading and accelerating and getting the most epic results. And new sales are always coming in through my. Okay. And we're gonna cover all of this again. I can't stop talking about this masterclass, cuz it's so good. like, it's just so good. Normally I don't sell this much on a podcast, but I just can't stop talking about it. So with this, regardless of my energy and time and output, we're always making money and we're always selling. And that to me is the art of chill sales. There may be a part two to this episode. I'm not gonna commit to that cause I may wanna talk about something else next. there may be, but I, I gotta leave a lot of the goodness for the masterclass and those attendees and the women that are gonna be inside of there's gonna be so good. But for now, I'm gonna leave you here and I'll see you next week. You wealthy woman. You.
