Herman specializes in remote energy healing for individuals and even properties, helping people address deep depressions, anxiety, depression, and what he describes as intentional negative energy. 00:01:25 Herman Petrick: Thank you. I appreciate you having me on your show. I'm happy to be here.
00:01:32 Yusuf: Before we go into deeper. what first did you realize that energy was not something, was not just a mindset of behavior?
00:01:48 Herman Petrick: It would have been just the all the obvious signs of the effect that they have on the people and the places around me. It started really, you know, even as a kid growing up, you hear ghost stories or, you know, different religions talking about different adversaries, and you don't really think too much about it until something you know, happens in your own home. And I had a home that had, uh, something going on where there's all kinds of noise being made when no one was around. And it just kind of that was all there was to it just kind of noisy and creating a little fear in the household. I didn't think too much of it, but as time went on, um, I started to see more often. I started to pay attention and I started to see. And then I saw how some people were tormented by these, these entities or energies. Um, and so, um, there was at one point in my life where I was in a house that had all these crazy problems, and I had this instinct come in that just told me to, you know, tell the things to leave. And I did, and it worked. And so, um, then I started studying just a little bit, reading up on the different types of energies and the different like eastern religions. And, you know, I had a good background on the Western religion. So a lot of the dots connected for me. And then I just realized that I had this gift where I can connect with people from anywhere and, and remove these energies, which I call energetic parasites. And and that's what I did. And I've been doing that ever since. It's been nearly fifteen years now of doing this work. So it's been it's been very rewarding.
00:03:43 Yusuf: I mean, you just mentioned energy parasites. Can you explain a bit more about that?
00:03:51 Herman Petrick: Yeah. So the reason I call them energy parasites is well, there's a couple reasons. So because they act like a parasite, a parasite would be like a flea, a tick, a mosquito, let's say. Let's say you have a mosquito, um, that's on your friend's back and you see it, so you just swipe it off, but you don't talk about, well, how long has that mosquito been there? What kind of mosquito is it? What is it doing there? Why is it on me? And same thing with these parasites. I call them energetic parasites because they attach to people. They're hard to be seen. And they, they they basically feed on our energy. And how they do that is they, they slowly start to manipulate our thoughts and our emotions. But what they really feed on is they feed on fear and anxiety. And so by manipulating the thoughts and the emotions, they're creating the fear and the anxiety that we buy as our own. And so here we are. We think that these thoughts and these emotions are coming from us, when in fact, they're coming from this parasitic energy to create the anxiety so that it can feed on that, like I said, fear and anxiety. And there's several different types of them. And they come from, you know, whatever different sources. But to me, there's no point in acknowledging, acknowledging who they are, where the why are they there? How long have they been there? It doesn't matter. They're parasitic energy. That's basically, you know, stealing your energy or hijacking your thoughts and emotions so that they can steal that fear and that anxiety that you're producing.
00:05:37 Yusuf: When people hear energy healing from imagine something mystical or abstract, I'm curious, what is the biggest misconception you encounter about energy?
00:05:51 Herman Petrick: The biggest misconception about energy healing? Um, I'm not sure that's a that's a tough one as far as a misconception, but it's more, um, people don't understand how how it works. Um, so if we have to think about it like this, everything is energy. Everything. We're an energy. Everything around us is energy. So when we think in terms of energy, it makes a little bit more sense. Um, but but a misconception is that it's not real. There's no, you know there's nothing there. But when you when you really pay attention to your body, you can start to notice the little subtle things that maybe from outside you or from your environment that's affecting you internally. And so when we look at things from an energetic standpoint, it's it's much easier to see that, um, there's the cause and the effect, um, the cause of your environment, the cause of these energetic parasites. And then you can see the effect of what they're doing to you. And sometimes it's it's very abrupt, like it's easy to tell if you have, say, a nightmare on a, on a regular basis. That's, that's an energetic parasite. Or if you have a reoccurring headache that feels like a stress headache, um, that's a, that's a parasite. If you have hearing voices or have thoughts that are negative, that, you know, or anxiety or depression, that's typically driven by these energetic parasites. But we never look at it from an energetic standpoint. We look at it from. I'm having this headache, you know, I don't know why. And we don't even pay attention to why or why am I having a nightmare? Why am I hearing, you know, why am I feeling anxious? And then we tend to blame ourselves for everything when if we look at it holistically and go, okay, if I'm this, this pure energy, why? Why is my system being disrupted? Why are my thoughts being hijacked? Why are my emotions being hijacked? Then we can start seeing the little things. So a misconception I guess would be just people not really looking at things from an energetic standpoint, not realizing that they're an energetic being. And so and it's it's a lot like a, like a computer system. Our body is like a computer system. And every once in a while your computer gets bogged down. You know, the, the the the hard drive gets full, the memory is at capacity, you know, so you have to go in and you have to clear your cache, clear the cookies, you know, um, refresh the hard drive, remove any viruses. Same thing with our energetic body and in a energy healing would be similar to, like, taking your computer and having it checked up. And clean the hard drive and just clear it out and hit the reset button. Um, and so that's the best analogy I can give on. Why it should be done is when you're feeling drained and low. And one other point I want to make is the the recharging of our own batteries. You know, when we sleep, our systems being recharged, our energy is being recharged. But a lot of times we're not getting enough quality sleep because we're having bad dreams or we having we can't fall asleep because our thoughts are running and running and running. And so if you can't have a good night's sleep, your energy is really low during the day. And when your energy is low during the day, you're an easier target for energetic parasites to just attach to you because you're weak energetically versus someone that's strong Energetically so.
00:09:29 Yusuf: And when we are weaker and we are very prone to parasites, I think that is the time that we get into depression, anxiety and all those negative.
00:09:44 Herman Petrick: Mhm. Yeah. You're one hundred percent right. And I can explain kind of why that happens. And, and, and that happens when you've heard the term your aura. So we'll talk about your aura for a minute. Think of your aura as this energy bubble around you. That's, that's meant like an invisible force field, kind of like a sci fi movie. When your when you work on your inner balance. So you're working on yourself, you're getting enough sleep. Um, your energy is stronger and your, your energy produces that, that bubble, that aura. But if as we go through life, we do things that damage our our bubble, like if we drinking too much alcohol? Taking too many drugs. Not getting enough sleep. Those things chip away at our our bubble and our bubble. People that are sensitive in picking stuff up are typically worn down, and then they're an easy target. But if you work on your inner balance and become stronger energetically, it's hard for these parasites to attach. And so the best way to do that is take time for yourself. And a lot of the people that are really sensitive are people that are, you know, they're empaths, so to speak. And so they're they're in this world to help people around them. But the problem is sometimes they're too busy helping everyone else around them. They forget to help themselves. And so you put yourself in a position where you're worn down energetically and you're giving yourself away to help everyone around you. It just becomes a big problem. But if that person, if we can take time for ourselves. Say ten minutes a day and just sit in silence. Breathe. Maybe do some breathwork, but just try to quiet the mind. And if you do that consistently, you start to separate yourself from your thoughts. And one thing, one tip I like to give everyone is always pay attention to your thoughts and your emotions. If if they don't serve you or they don't resonate with you, just question what? Where is this coming from? And by doing that, you're separating yourself from your thoughts and from your emotions. And the problem is, is most people are driven through life by their thoughts and their emotions. But if our thoughts and emotions are being manipulated by these energetic parasites, we're not being driven by ourselves. We're being driven by this, you know, energy that we can't see. That's parasitic energy. So by just taking time for yourself, working on your inner balance, you become stronger and you separate yourself from your thoughts. That's kind of the best way to work on it, so that you're not such an easy target when you walk out and meet someone. Um, and something attaches to you from them or from the environment. So just working on yourself is the key there.
00:12:42 Yusuf: So like when we are in the back, when we are thinking bad or example when I'm for example, I, I have just given a job interview and I'm thinking bad about it. Like I will get it. Why would I get it? Is that weakening of my aura and I attract energy parasite and is the counter of that of that thinking positively. Positively?
00:13:14 Herman Petrick: Yeah. So so thinking negativity negatively and positively doesn't necessarily attract the negativity. Yes. A lot of, um, people do, you know, think, think positive thoughts. Positive things will happen. Think negative. Negative things will happen. That's true to a certain extent. But but sometimes you can think negatively about something because it's just a negative issue that you don't that you don't like. That doesn't mean that that it's wrong. But a lot of times when you have the negative thinking about everything that comes across, that's usually not you. That's that energetic parasite manipulating your emotions to make you think negative about whatever is happening. So it's not that you're attracting that, it's just that you you're being manipulated to to have that negativity. But but then I want you to think about, you know, you know, if everything is energy, we're all connected and we're essentially all the same. And what's the difference between good and bad? Who's to say what's good and who's to say what's bad? Sometimes there's a there's a fine line there. and a better example would be hot and cold. What's the difference between hot and cold? It's the same thing. It's just a different degree on the scale and the same thing with everything. There's always two, two polars, right. And so there's opposite ends, but they're the same thing. And so if we think in terms of energy what really is bad and what really is good, but if, if that, if good and bad are the same, it's just a different, different degree of something, you know, who's to say? What's good to you may not be good to me, to me. So so it's important to look at it that way. Um, but if you always have negative thoughts about, you know, most things in your life, it's typically a parasite manipulating you and creating that, that emotion of the anger, the fear, the anxiety, you know, kind of that. So.
00:15:21 Yusuf: Okay, Herman, for someone who is not ready to do it but wants to start reconnecting with their inner balance. Where would you use it? They begin.
00:15:38 Herman Petrick: I think it it really begins with, um, taking time for yourself. Trying to sit down, um, in silence without having a thought pop up. And that sounds really easy, but it's not. I would challenge anyone to sit down for ten minutes and just focus on their breath, breathing in and out and see how long you go. You might go fifteen seconds before a thought pops in, but when a thought pops in, just go back to nope, don't chase that thought. How does it feel breathing in and breathing out? And the more we practice that, the quiet our mind becomes. And when all the chatter in our mind is silent, we can really start to hear our own inner voice and really connect with that. So the biggest issue that I see is we're just so disconnected from who we are. And so the best way to connect is plug ourself in by sitting in silence and connecting. Now it's sometimes it's difficult when you have all these energetic parasites because they're going to be constantly attacking your mind, you know, to be running and running. So that's kind of the internal battle that you may have. But that's a good place to start. Um, or you can seek help from, you know, energy healers and say, hey, I need to really work on my inner balance and see what everyone has a different approach. Um, my approach is, I when I work with people, I do all the work on my own. They don't participate and we don't even schedule it. They don't even know when I'm going to do it. But when I do my work, I start by clearing the energetic parasites first thing. I clear the parasites from them and their home, their space. Now, once I clear the parasites, then I go through. There's about eight to a dozen different things I do depending on what that person's needs are. But I go through and I remove blockages, I cut connections, I just rebalance things, and I really kind of reset their energy. I rebalance their chakras, I, I remove some stuck traumas, and there's a number of things that I do and the, the whole point of me doing all of that is to help that person connect to their true self. Now, if we did the healing work first and we didn't remove the parasites, you're it's not going to work so well. It's kind of like, let's think of a of a car that needs to be waxed. You know, you need to put a paste wax on your car. You have to clean your car before you wax it. If you take your dirty car and think, I need to wax it to protect the paint, but you don't wash it first. So we have to remove the parasites. So we need to clean our energy first and then work on the, the, the wax, the inner balance. And so but seeking help is the is an easy answer. And the help isn't like a magic pill. Then everything's perfect. It's it puts you. It resets you so that you can connect. And where you go with that is one hundred percent up to you.

00:19:34 Herman Petrick: Um, I think the the the biggest thing is take time for yourself. In our, in our chaotic world, where a lot of times too busy, um, with everything happening around us, we forget to take care of ourselves. And you wouldn't do that. Um, to, you know, the equipment you use, like your cell phone. You wouldn't never charge your cell phone because it would just die and it wouldn't run fully. Same thing with your computer. You have to. You have to keep it maintained. We have to work on our inner balance. So, um, that's the key thing. Don't forget about taking time for yourself and doing things that make you happy. Um, before you give yourself away to everyone else around you.
