Welcome to Love Notes from Rhonda.
Speaker AAnd today, let's talk about miracles.
Speaker AMiracles.
Speaker AYou know, my first workshop I ever taught in 1995, was Are you waiting for a miracle?
Speaker AAnd in that workshop, very first workshop I ever taught, in 19, probably I taught that workshop in 1996 or 97.
Speaker AAre you waiting for a miracle?
Speaker AThat was my answer to the desire I had most of my life and still can fall into occasionally today, the desire to be saved.
Speaker AI think we all secretly want to be saved.
Speaker AWe wanna be loved that much, cared about that much, worshiped that much, validated that much.
Speaker AWe want somebody to, whether it's God, whether it's a family member, whether it's our past, something, we want something or someone to save us.
Speaker ANow, if you would've said that to me when I was going through my most difficult time, oh, you want somebody to save you, Rhonda?
Speaker AI'd be like, what are you talking about?
Speaker AI don't need somebody to save me.
Speaker AI probably would have said, nobody can save me.
Speaker AI'm too far gone.
Speaker ABut that workshop that I taught, are you waiting for a miracle?
Speaker AWas my rebuttal for all those years that I waited, waited for something or someone to save me.
Speaker ASomeone or something to say I was okay.
Speaker ASomeone or something to give me permission.
Speaker ASomeone or something to tell me I was okay.
Speaker AAll will be well.
Speaker AAll is well.
Speaker AAll will be well.
Speaker AAll is well.
Speaker ASo I invite you today to think about miracles.
Speaker AWhat miracle are you waiting for?
Speaker AWhat if you could give yourself permission to experience, to say yes to that miracle moving through you?
Speaker ABecause miracles are not about necessarily.
Speaker AOh, I'll just say what I thought miracles were like magic.
Speaker AThat's what I thought miracles were.
Speaker AThey were magic.
Speaker AAnd what I now know about miracles is miracles is a perception in which you see the world.
Speaker AIf you see the world through the eyes of miracles or not, when you see somebody stopping on the road, allowing somebody to cross that moment of connection, you could actually view it as a miracle.
Speaker AWhen you've lost your watch in your house somewhere or your keys somewhere and you find it, you find those keys, you could say, that's a miracle.
Speaker AYou hear from a friend from long ago, or catch somebody's eye in the market and you feel their eyes are smiling at you, that's a miracle.
Speaker AA moment of connection is a miracle.
Speaker AA moment of awareness and insight is a miracle.
Speaker ASo ask yourself, who or what are you waiting for?
Speaker AWhat miracle are you hoping will come to your door, knock on it and say, come on, I've got your back.
Speaker ACome on.
Speaker AI'm the miracle you're waiting for.
Speaker AWhat if?
Speaker AWhat if?
Speaker AThe difference between seeing miracles, experiencing miracles is your commitment, your decision to see the world through the eyes of miracles.
Speaker AWhen anyone's vulnerable, that's a miracle.
Speaker AWhen anyone's loving, it's a miracle.
Speaker AWhen anyone is gracious, graceful miracle.
Speaker AWhen two people argue and try to get their needs met and trying to figure out that's a miracle.
Speaker AWhenever we reach towards somebody, that's a miracle.
Speaker AAre you waiting for a miracle?
Speaker AOr are you being one?
Speaker AAre you waiting for a miracle?
Speaker AOr are you being one?
Speaker AAre you waiting for a miracle or are you being one?
Speaker AAre you waiting for a miracle or are you being one?
Speaker ABe the miracle.
Speaker AI know how disappointing and disheartening and frustrating it is thinking nobody will come to save you.
Speaker AI know I was heartbroken.
Speaker AYet when I finally realized I have to save myself, that's when I started changing my life.
Speaker AUntil then, I was passively looking externally outside of myself, hoping somebody secretly would save me.
Speaker ABut then I decided.
Speaker AI decided I was worth saving.
Speaker ASo I got busy saving myself.
Speaker ASo are you waiting for a miracle?
Speaker AOr are you being one?
Speaker ABe the miracle.
Speaker ASee the miracle, claim the miracle.
Speaker AMiracles are everywhere.
Speaker AEverywhere.
Speaker AUntil next time, be fearless.
Speaker AI love you.
