Speaker A

Welcome to Love Notes from Rhonda.

Speaker A

And today, let's talk about miracles.

Speaker A

Miracles.

Speaker A

You know, my first workshop I ever taught in 1995, was Are you waiting for a miracle?

Speaker A

And in that workshop, very first workshop I ever taught, in 19, probably I taught that workshop in 1996 or 97.

Speaker A

Are you waiting for a miracle?

Speaker A

That was my answer to the desire I had most of my life and still can fall into occasionally today, the desire to be saved.

Speaker A

I think we all secretly want to be saved.

Speaker A

We wanna be loved that much, cared about that much, worshiped that much, validated that much.

Speaker A

We want somebody to, whether it's God, whether it's a family member, whether it's our past, something, we want something or someone to save us.

Speaker A

Now, if you would've said that to me when I was going through my most difficult time, oh, you want somebody to save you, Rhonda?

Speaker A

I'd be like, what are you talking about?

Speaker A

I don't need somebody to save me.

Speaker A

I probably would have said, nobody can save me.

Speaker A

I'm too far gone.

Speaker A

But that workshop that I taught, are you waiting for a miracle?

Speaker A

Was my rebuttal for all those years that I waited, waited for something or someone to save me.

Speaker A

Someone or something to say I was okay.

Speaker A

Someone or something to give me permission.

Speaker A

Someone or something to tell me I was okay.

Speaker A

All will be well.

Speaker A

All is well.

Speaker A

All will be well.

Speaker A

All is well.

Speaker A

So I invite you today to think about miracles.

Speaker A

What miracle are you waiting for?

Speaker A

What if you could give yourself permission to experience, to say yes to that miracle moving through you?

Speaker A

Because miracles are not about necessarily.

Speaker A

Oh, I'll just say what I thought miracles were like magic.

Speaker A

That's what I thought miracles were.

Speaker A

They were magic.

Speaker A

And what I now know about miracles is miracles is a perception in which you see the world.

Speaker A

If you see the world through the eyes of miracles or not, when you see somebody stopping on the road, allowing somebody to cross that moment of connection, you could actually view it as a miracle.

Speaker A

When you've lost your watch in your house somewhere or your keys somewhere and you find it, you find those keys, you could say, that's a miracle.

Speaker A

You hear from a friend from long ago, or catch somebody's eye in the market and you feel their eyes are smiling at you, that's a miracle.

Speaker A

A moment of connection is a miracle.

Speaker A

A moment of awareness and insight is a miracle.

Speaker A

So ask yourself, who or what are you waiting for?

Speaker A

What miracle are you hoping will come to your door, knock on it and say, come on, I've got your back.

Speaker A

Come on.

Speaker A

I'm the miracle you're waiting for.

Speaker A

What if?

Speaker A

What if?

Speaker A

The difference between seeing miracles, experiencing miracles is your commitment, your decision to see the world through the eyes of miracles.

Speaker A

When anyone's vulnerable, that's a miracle.

Speaker A

When anyone's loving, it's a miracle.

Speaker A

When anyone is gracious, graceful miracle.

Speaker A

When two people argue and try to get their needs met and trying to figure out that's a miracle.

Speaker A

Whenever we reach towards somebody, that's a miracle.

Speaker A

Are you waiting for a miracle?

Speaker A

Or are you being one?

Speaker A

Are you waiting for a miracle?

Speaker A

Or are you being one?

Speaker A

Are you waiting for a miracle or are you being one?

Speaker A

Are you waiting for a miracle or are you being one?

Speaker A

Be the miracle.

Speaker A

I know how disappointing and disheartening and frustrating it is thinking nobody will come to save you.

Speaker A

I know I was heartbroken.

Speaker A

Yet when I finally realized I have to save myself, that's when I started changing my life.

Speaker A

Until then, I was passively looking externally outside of myself, hoping somebody secretly would save me.

Speaker A

But then I decided.

Speaker A

I decided I was worth saving.

Speaker A

So I got busy saving myself.

Speaker A

So are you waiting for a miracle?

Speaker A

Or are you being one?

Speaker A

Be the miracle.

Speaker A

See the miracle, claim the miracle.

Speaker A

Miracles are everywhere.

Speaker A

Everywhere.

Speaker A

Until next time, be fearless.

Speaker A

I love you.
