Oh, my goodness. You guys, I'm so excited about today's episode, because I feel like we're covering something that I get asked all of the time. And honestly, like, I'm just surprised that people are still teaching this. So we're going to go through this because I know. If not all of you, most of you don't want to be cold messaging people, getting them into your offers because I know that's something I never wanted to do in business. So I feel like that's probably something you don't want to do in business. And there's another way you guys know I'm big on attraction, marketing, marketing in general, and having dream clients reach out to us. Having dream clients come into our offers into our world, messaging us saying, Hey, can you tell me about this?
Michelle Hartzman:Can I get the link? I want to work with you. You're on my list to work with. You guys, no, you want to be the coach, service provider, entrepreneur that people come to versus feeling like you have to constantly be chasing people to work with you or feeling like, okay, I'm posting, I'm putting up the stories and putting out the reels and putting out the content. And no one is buying, I feel like I'm in the friend zone. I get it. I've been there and that's why we're having this conversation today, but we're also having it because I've been getting asked a lot lately, if I believe that my clients have to sit on social media all day, finding people to message in hopes that they'll buy. And simple answer, honestly, hell no. Like I do not believe that. I just do not believe that that's how it has to be. But long answer, we're going to dive into it because I don't believe it's necessary to sit online all day messaging, random people from other people's accounts, hoping to like get a sale. I don't believe it has to be that way. Personally. I think it's very old school business sales tactics, and that's probably why so many people in the online space have this fear of being salesy because these tactics are being. And I just want to share with you, like, if there's something that you've been taught and or told, and it makes you feel really kind of achy and, or like, just like not my thing, there's always another way. There's literally always another way. And so what I believe works, if we want to get to this place of dream clients, being in your DMS, reaching out to you program, selling out. This is what it's going to take. And we've tapped tapped into this tapped in talked about this, whatever you want to say and, uh, other episodes before, but we're going to like narrow in on what I believe actually works to get to a place where a dream clients always want to buy from you. So for me, that is number one showing up authentically as yourself. The true you, the real you reminds me of like M and M will the real slim shady. Please stand up. We want to know you. We want to know what you stand for. We want to know your beliefs. We want to know your framework. We want to know your quirks, we want to know about your life. We want to know what you do outside of business. We want to know it all. We want the real you, and I'll give you a really good example of this. One of my one-to-one clients the other day, we had a call and she's like, Michelle, like, you're so real. And like, anytime I think about you, I think about this one story that I watched of you and you had food in your teeth and you were like, literally getting food out of your teeth, on the story. And some of you might be listening and cringing, but I'm like, that's me. I'm weird. I'm messy. And I'm not going to rerecord a story. Cause I had some spinach in my teeth. It's just not going to happen. 'cause, I don't want the time for that, but it's real. It's me. I threw out the day will share my dog and my coffee and my fiance and our dynamic. I share the realness and the authenticity and people feel like they know me through an app. They feel like they know me through video and audio. Even those of you listening to those podcasts, I mess up. I stumble over my words. We don't edit. We laugh. We get emotional. We get in the nitty gritty. That works. People will feel like they actually know you. Like you're a flipping human on the other side of Instagram or Facebook or LinkedIn, wherever you're at. So number one, authenticity will win. People will literally buy because they like you. And I think that that is so underrated in marketing, people will buy because they like you. So I need you in this moment to stop hiding. Stop hiding yourself because literally I will buy from you because, because of who you are and your clients will literally say things of like, you know, I was talking to a bunch of different coaches, but I chose you because I just vibed with you. I liked your energy. I liked you the most, that matters. So your authenticity, uh, who you are, we want it. So that's number one, number two, showing the power of. Not just showing up and creating the perfect content calendar and just posting and putting it out there. Why do you actually have to say, what are you hiding back from saying, what's your polarizing opinion on something? Showing up powerfully, which then brings me to number three, here is creating and posting on purpose. I think those two could have been combined here powerfully showing up powerfully and creating and posting on purpose. This is huge posting on purpose. We're not just going to post a post, those of you that have been in my world for a long time. You know, I don't post every single. I show up on stories all the time. It's not always business. Most of the time, 95% of the time it's business, but I give you guys a lot of me in a lot of my life and I share things intentionally and that works and I'm not just winging it. I'm not just like hoping and praying it'll stick, but I'm speaking from my heart. I'm speaking from my soul. I'm sharing things that matter. I'm giving massive flip and value and I'm solving problems for my dream client. And that's posting on purpose. I'm speaking to their pain points and the results that they desire. I'm creating with intention and I'm showing up, even when I don't feel like it. Meaning when I say I'm showing up, even when I don't feel like it it's on purpose because I know even when I don't feel like it, or I'm like in my way or in my head, I know that my dream clients need to know how they can work with. That's on purpose. If I don't show up, how can I help them? So the same thing applies for you. Number four, building real relationships. I had said this in my program. I'm in, by the way, if you're not in that program to passive offer right now, it'll run live again in 2022, but the passive offer is so flipping good. I kid you not. Now back to number five, I'm losing count here. 1, 2, 3, 4. For fact, and number four, see, this is real. This is authentic back to number four, building real relationships. You've got to care about the people in your community, whether they ever buy from you or not. You've got to care about them and want to get to know them and build relationships. Here's the thing. I know that there are so many of you that listen to my podcasts that have never been spoken to me before. And I love you. I love you. And I'm so glad you're here. And if you never buy from me, that's okay. I'm just so glad that you're coming here to learn about business and grow your business. And I get to be part of that journey with you. And then there are people that are going to talk to you on social media and they'll never buy from you, but it's okay. And building real relationships will change your business. And so what I had said to my clients inside of I'm in recently was. 90. He was 90% of the women that invested in that program when it was running live, had talked to me in some way, shape or form on Instagram. It wasn't always like about business, but sometimes it's about my dog or my coffee or an espresso or my hair ties or my sisters or travels or whatever it wasn't always about business. And they were the people that came forward to invest in that program. And I just thought it was interesting data because that, what that tells me is like my relationships and the fact that I care so much about my community and these humans and interacting with them and responding to every DM. You know, if you've ever deemed me, I responded. Cause I love you and you're my community. And I want to get to know you on a human level. It matters and I kid you not, it will change the trajectory of your business. When you stop looking at people like credit cards, I know you want to make money and I'm here to help you make it, but there's a better flip in way that can feel so good. Next point is marketing and marketing. Well, got to master your marketing. Got a master, your marketing and your brand. I'm not saying you need the perfect cohesive brand, but you know, in the last episode, the last two episodes before this, we really dove into your core message and your legacy. If you haven't heard those, I recommend going back to listen to them and bringing that to life in your marketing and having clear and concise marketing professional photos. Good, clear photos, at least marketing and marketing. Well. The next one is authority and leadership leaders go first. So in your content, in your messaging, I always think about, I go first. So I share my own experience. As a lot of the time I share my wins. I share the hard things I've gone through. And then what was the outcome? I share celebrations. I share milestones. That's a part of leadership. I share all of that. It's real. It's authentic. It's also, it's like, wow, she's done it. She can teach. So the same applies for you and your marketing and showing up leadership is huge. And then authority. We want to build authority in our brand and in our marketing because it helps us stand out. We also look at you and you were like, wow, she knows what she's talking about. She can get me the results and the transformation that I actually desire. And that comes with owning how good you are at what you do. Your clients results, your own results, testimonials, sharing behind the scenes, owning how amazing your framework is, your offers, the support you give your clients, the proximity that you're a partner in their journey. Owning. All of it is what makes you an authority. And then the last. Is of course being really flipping good at what you do when you do this, when you master how good you are and you own it. Yeah. Part of authority, but to. You do this inside of like your world with your clients and you show up and you keep your word. I can't tell you how important that is in this space is when your clients sign up for something. And it was exactly, if not better than what they ever imagined coming into your world, you will have referrals coming in nonstop. People will tag you in their stories. I always get asked Michelle, your client, are we sharing about. Yeah, because I'm really good at what I do and they can't help, but be excited to be in my world. So they want to share, I don't even ask them to share. They just do it. They tag me in their stories. They tag me in their agenda. That's on purpose. Cause they're so proud and excited to be a part of my world and referrals. Come in from that. When your clients speak about you, when they share your. That's like one of your biggest moneymakers, you'll literally never have to worry about cold messaging people ever again, especially you master all of these things and we'll sum them up all together. Again, you master all of these things like cold messaging is just a thing of the past. But what I think is happening or has happened is like we get taught this early on in business, because again, I know I was taught this early on in business that we then think it has to be this way. And again, it doesn't. Again, what works is showing up authentically, showing up powerfully, creating and posting on purpose, building real relationships, marketing and marketing, well authority and leadership. And then of course being really good at what you do. And then the last thing here that I saved, and most importantly, is focused on creating, cultivating a true community, a community that's yours, a community of people that like want to be a part of what you're doing. And they're so curious about what you have to say every day. It was like you like this girl is like, so cool. I want to be a part of her community. I want to be a part of everything that she's doing paid or unpaid. I want to see it. I want to be a part of it. I'm magnetised to it. And again, I can't reiterate this enough, actually care about the people who are in your world, who are watching right now, show up for them. Create valuable content saw. Their problems in your content, you will literally never have a shortage of clients again. But what we tend to do is we make it all about us and we get really caught up in what if people don't buy and like, where are the clients? And if I'm not DM-ing and doing outreach all the time, no one's ever gonna work with me. And it's just not true. It's not true. And I need you to know something I never did in business was cold message people, inviting them into my office. I build relationships and I talk to people all the time, all the time, but it never felt good for me to just randomly find people on other people's pages and message them and invite them to work with me like that. It was not it for me. I knew that there had to be a better way. And you guys know, I built a multiple six figure business doing it this way. So it was possible. And so I need you to believe me that there's always another way always. And like, I promise you when you met Matt, Showing up authentically powerfully creating and posting on purpose, building real relationships, marketing and marketing. Well, 30 and leadership being really good at what you do and cultivating community.
