So you want to start a podcast, but you're stuck on episode
Speaker:ideas. I feel your pain. So here are five
Speaker:unique concepts that I've just dreamed up off the top of
Speaker:my cerebral cortex just for you.
Speaker:Try recording an episode while taking a walk. You can take
Speaker:in the sounds of nature and that will add an extra bit
Speaker:of ambience to your recordings.
Speaker:Grab it all crunching leaves, tweeting birds,
Speaker:and maybe even some dogging
Speaker:love, history and true crime. Why not visit a haunted
Speaker:mansion or museum? The haunting sounds and
Speaker:your own unsettled voice will add to the atmosphere.
Speaker:If you're covering wellness topics, then maybe recreate the
Speaker:car map. But slightly more interesting. Get yourself on the
Speaker:beach and get all the crashing waves and the shrill
Speaker:seagull noises. Do you meet friends for coffee?
Speaker:I bet you any money you get political, right? Why not turn that into your
Speaker:podcast? Meet your podcast host in a Starbucks or
Speaker:Costa and start discussing the events of the
Speaker:week. Have the sounds of fellow coffee lovers enjoying their brew in
Speaker:the background. It absolutely adds to the effect. And if you're doing a
Speaker:comedy podcast, why not think about actually doing
Speaker:it? In a comedy venue, deals can be struck
Speaker:and ambience is there to be grabbed. Remember, great content is
Speaker:all about creativity, not just plugging in and hitting record.
Speaker:Try these ideas out and let your imagination run wild.
Speaker:Oh, and let me know what you do. Party master
Speaker:by casting quick tip.
