How to shift your energy and attract more clients in just seven minutes a day.

Speaker:

Most people ignore the real problem when there's a problem.

Speaker:

Here's how fixing your energy state can fix everything.

Speaker:

If you're feeling discouraged, heavy, or like everything you do in

Speaker:

business is met with invisible resistance, you're not doomed, you're not bad at

Speaker:

this, and You're certainly not failing.

Speaker:

You probably just need to shift your vibe, literally.

Speaker:

So it's the energy you bring and it frames everything.

Speaker:

And look, I know that that's making it sound easy or simple,

Speaker:

And while on one hand, it can be, being a human being is not easy or simple.

Speaker:

So I recognize that it's not just a matter of be happy, right?

Speaker:

Even though it is But again, we're humans.

Speaker:

So this is where I talk about the seven minute shift.

Speaker:

It's a daily energy clearing process I created to move through fear,

Speaker:

doubt, and stuckness fast.

Speaker:

We shift your energy through this simple process that, as the name says,

Speaker:

can take seven minutes or less.

Speaker:

So you start actually seeing results.

Speaker:

You start attracting more clients, getting more money, more clarity, all the good

Speaker:

things that you want in your life and business.

Speaker:

And yes, you can do it in about seven minutes.

Speaker:

You can actually do this a whole lot faster.

Speaker:

The more you practice it, you get faster and faster at it.

Speaker:

Let's talk about why your emotional state affects the results you experience.

Speaker:

So manifestation techniques, aka influencing how you experience your

Speaker:

reality, aren't about forcing outcomes.

Speaker:

It's about becoming the person who naturally attracts them or sees them.

Speaker:

And that's starts with your emotional energy.

Speaker:

When you're carrying frustration, discouragement, or what's the point

Speaker:

energy, you've all been there, you're pushing away opportunities

Speaker:

without even realizing it.

Speaker:

And your brain becomes, where your brain makes you blind to them.

Speaker:

Like a radio stuck between stations, you can't clearly tune in, you can't

Speaker:

get that precise frequency where your success already exists.

Speaker:

The good news, though, emotions are movable.

Speaker:

You don't have to stay where you are.

Speaker:

You can shift your energy and your results in just a few minutes a day.

Speaker:

So step one is to identify what that's weighing you down.

Speaker:

First, check in with yourself.

Speaker:

What's the heaviest feeling you're carrying today?

Speaker:

And this isn't necessarily...

Speaker:

I mean, you can do this even if you're having a really positive, great day.

Speaker:

You can do this as a means of practice and just further refining your own energy

Speaker:

and staying at that higher vibration.

Speaker:

But this is particularly useful if you are finding yourself in a negative

Speaker:

state or state of frustration.

Speaker:

So you want to identify what that is, that feeling is specifically.

Speaker:

So be brutally honest.

Speaker:

Maybe it's irritation because a client or a potential client goes to you.

Speaker:

Maybe it's panic about money.

Speaker:

Maybe it's frustration around knowing that you need to be more visible,

Speaker:

but you just can't get yourself there.

Speaker:

You're experiencing a lot of resistance around it.

Speaker:

Maybe it's a Feeling that you should be further along in your business by now.

Speaker:

And so this is not necessarily a fact.

Speaker:

It's really more of a case of comparison, struggling

Speaker:

because you're comparing yourself to others and it's unrealistic expectation.

Speaker:

So step two is to find the hidden story behind it.

Speaker:

Once you know the emotion, ask yourself, what story am I believing to be

Speaker:

true that's making me feel this way?

Speaker:

Get really specific.

Speaker:

It may take you a little while, if you try to pinpoint this.

Speaker:

This takes a little bit of practice, but once you do it a few times, you

Speaker:

get better and better at it.

Speaker:

So maybe your brain is whispering offering, Nobody wants what I have, or,

Speaker:

I'm not good enough to sell anything.

Speaker:

Drag the ugly assumptions into the light.

Speaker:

They lose half their power when you do so.

Speaker:

For example, I'm frustrated because nobody's lying.

Speaker:

This must mean nobody wants what I'm offering.

Speaker:

See how sneaky that is?

Speaker:

But now you can deal with it if you're completely honest and you just drag it out

Speaker:

into the light, kicking and screaming, right?

Speaker:

Step three, reframe and find proof that you're wrong, or at least

Speaker:

your brain is wrong.

Speaker:

So we're going to flip this story.

Speaker:

Ask yourself, what if that's not true?

Speaker:

What if the truth is better, like way better?

Speaker:

For example, no one buying right now doesn't mean no one

Speaker:

wants what I'm offering.

Speaker:

It means I haven't found the precise messaging that grabs attention,

Speaker:

or maybe I haven't explained the offer clearly to my ideal client yet.

Speaker:

So when you're in that place of nothing's working, right?

Speaker:

Nobody wants what I'm offering.

Speaker:

That is your chimp reacting.

Speaker:

I've talked about this before, these three aspects of your brain, which is the

Speaker:

chimp, the human, and the computer.

Speaker:

The chimp is that very primal, hardwired survival mechanism,

Speaker:

and you can never get rid of it.

Speaker:

It's always going to react to something that feels like a threat to you.

Speaker:

And so when you are not getting validation and confirmation

Speaker:

that people want what you have to offer, which can be interpreted as a validation

Speaker:

of self, but I hope that that's not happening, that triggers

Speaker:

the chimp response, right?

Speaker:

The human response, well, let's jump to the computer.

Speaker:

The computer is the habits.

Speaker:

And so you could start falling into in conjunction with your chimp,

Speaker:

because it does consult the computer, falling into a pattern of habits

Speaker:

that are not helpful for you.

Speaker:

However, you can program the computer with new habits that are actually helpful for

Speaker:

you, just like the seven minute shift.

Speaker:

Now, the human part of this trio of friends here, the human is the true you.

Speaker:

This is the part of you that just wants to move on and do good things and

Speaker:

make progress and experience life.

Speaker:

What we can do is say, when we're feeling like nobody wants what

Speaker:

I'm offering, this just isn't working.

Speaker:

I'm not cut out for this.

Speaker:

That's the chimp responding, right?

Speaker:

And you can look at it logically and say, okay, what's really going on here?

Speaker:

Does that really mean that nobody in the world wants what I'm offering?

Speaker:

Of course not, right?

Speaker:

This is the human part of you that can look at it and say, that's not

Speaker:

what really is really going on.

Speaker:

So back it up with real-world proof.

Speaker:

So maybe a past client sent you a thank you note.

Speaker:

Maybe someone said your last post really shifted their way of thinking.

Speaker:

Maybe somebody thanked you today for something that you

Speaker:

helped them with, right?

Speaker:

Look for evidence, and it's all around you.

Speaker:

I know that it is, of the complete opposite of what your brain

Speaker:

is giving you right now, okay?

Speaker:

Finding this proof of good things happening in your business helps you clear

Speaker:

emotional resistance, and really quickly.

Speaker:

Step four, choose a better feeling and anchor it.

Speaker:

So now Now that you've loosened up the old story, it's time to pick a new

Speaker:

emotion, a new way of feeling.

Speaker:

Ask yourself, what would I rather feel right now?

Speaker:

And maybe it's excitement, maybe it's a calm certainty, maybe it's relief, right?

Speaker:

And then find a memory when you actually felt that way.

Speaker:

And pull that up and hold that feeling.

Speaker:

Remember how excited you felt when you booked your first ever paying client, or

Speaker:

a memory of being with family and friends where you were laughing

Speaker:

and just so at ease?

Speaker:

Bring those memories back, full color, full vibrancy, and hold

Speaker:

it for as long as you can.

Speaker:

This memory and the feeling it brings can be pulled into this

Speaker:

current moment and applied.

Speaker:

It doesn't even have to be related to business.

Speaker:

It can be any part of your life, right?

Speaker:

Whatever brings brings true happiness.

Speaker:

Feel it in your chest, your hands, your whole entire body.

Speaker:

Anchor into it.

Speaker:

This is the secret to raising your vibration.

Speaker:

Step five, step into your future self, or I like to say, you 2.

Speaker:

0.

Speaker:

Picture this version of you who already has what you want right now.

Speaker:

Visualize opening your inbox to a flood of paid invoices.

Speaker:

See yourself smiling as ideal clients.

Speaker:

Thank you for changing their lives.

Speaker:

Borrow that energy, borrow that posture.

Speaker:

This is part of vibrational alignment for success because that version of you,

Speaker:

that's who you already are.

Speaker:

One of the stories that I share that goes way back, years and years and

Speaker:

years ago, when I first started my own business, I was writing a

Speaker:

copy on the side of my full-time job.

Speaker:

And there's multiple parts to this story, and

Speaker:

I won't tell all of them so that I don't take up too much of your time today.

Speaker:

But I do want to share some of them because this is what I'm talking about

Speaker:

right here when we're borrowing these emotions from a memory

Speaker:

or even just something that we imagine.

Speaker:

So I was working full-time, super, super worn

Speaker:

out, super stressed, not super healthy.

Speaker:

I was getting sick a lot due to the stress.

Speaker:

And I just needed relief.

Speaker:

I just needed to feel some calm and peace.

Speaker:

I was going through a divorce. I was being stalked.

Speaker:

I had a lot of negativity in my life, and I was really just keeping

Speaker:

my head above water.

Speaker:

And I reached this point of desperation where I said, You know what?

Speaker:

I'm just going to imagine.

Speaker:

I'm going to close my eyes.

Speaker:

I was sitting on the sofa.

Speaker:

It was this eggplant-colored sofa.

Speaker:

And in my living room, my cat was sitting next to me.

Speaker:

It was curled up next to me.

Speaker:

And it was really late at night.

Speaker:

I want to say it was probably between 11: 00 and midnight.

Speaker:

I'd worked all day.

Speaker:

I had a late shift.

Speaker:

I was like, You know what?

Speaker:

I'm just going to close my eyes for just a minute.

Speaker:

And I'm going to imagine this peaceful mountain valley where everything is

Speaker:

beautiful, calm, serene, and it's all good.

Speaker:

Because I can't do anything else right now.

Speaker:

That literally was where I was at.

Speaker:

I can't do anything else right now.

Speaker:

And this was before I got into really understanding the basis of manifesting.

Speaker:

Now, I certainly knew of it and liked the idea of it, but this was not

Speaker:

what I was attempting to do at this point in time.

Speaker:

And so every free moment that I had, even at work, when I would sit in the break

Speaker:

room for my paltry 30 minutes of reprieve, when I got it, when I got it, I

Speaker:

would close my eyes and just imagine this beautiful mountain valley.

Speaker:

And one day, a woman came into the place that I worked, where I managed

Speaker:

print services, and she needed help with a brochure that was for a nonprofit

Speaker:

organization, I should say, that helped women who had experienced

Speaker:

abuse or really difficult situations.

Speaker:

And I helped her with cleaning the brochure

Speaker:

up and as far as copy as well as design.

Speaker:

And then we were going to, of course, print them.

Speaker:

We had finalized the order, meaning getting everything input, and she was

Speaker:

going to come back later to pick up the brochures.

Speaker:

She'd walked away, but then she came back over to me and she said, You know,

Speaker:

We have all of this money and no one to give it to.

Speaker:

And then she just walked off and I thought, Huh?

Speaker:

Because even though I was helping her with all this, I never shared any

Speaker:

of my personal situation.

Speaker:

And I certainly didn't say anything in that moment, but I had been thinking as

Speaker:

she was sharing with me about this nonprofit.

Speaker:

And so I applied for a grant with them and I was awarded a grant.

Speaker:

And I used that to put into my side gig business of writing copy for people.

Speaker:

So that was step one.

Speaker:

And then fast forward, I'll give you the really short version here.

Speaker:

Fast forward, because I wanted to move from...

Speaker:

I was out in the Southwest.

Speaker:

I I had gone out there with my husband, and of course, we divorced, and then I

Speaker:

wanted to get back to the East Coast into the mountains of North Carolina.

Speaker:

And there was no way that I could do that.

Speaker:

I had a household, I had two teenagers, I did not have the money to move.

Speaker:

And so on.

Speaker:

And fast forward to a family member out of the blue sending me a check for

Speaker:

$12,000 that had just been set aside in account for many, many years.

Speaker:

And then That part of that money, part of that money was given, I gave to my

Speaker:

kids, and then part of that money I used to move across the US back to

Speaker:

the mountains of North Carolina.

Speaker:

So there are many more manifestations that occurred in between then and now.

Speaker:

But let me just say I'm sitting here in my office looking out my window into

Speaker:

my beautiful little mountain valley.

Speaker:

All right, so back to this topic at hand.

Speaker:

So step six, raise your vibration fast and easy.

Speaker:

So now lift your energy even higher. Here's a trick.

Speaker:

Create, Wouldn't it be incredible if statements?

Speaker:

Like, Wouldn't it be incredible if three new perfect fit clients

Speaker:

showed up this week?

Speaker:

Wouldn't it be incredible if someone paid me early without me even asking?

Speaker:

Wouldn't it be incredible if I got an unexpected opportunity

Speaker:

that just lights me up?

Speaker:

Say it out loud.

Speaker:

Smile when you say You're tuning into your radio station to,

Speaker:

Hell, yes, the core of manifestation techniques that actually work.

Speaker:

Step seven, lock it in with physical movement.

Speaker:

Okay, this is the last step.

Speaker:

And This is an overview.

Speaker:

You can get much more detail and space to write out and work through

Speaker:

these exercises in the book.

Speaker:

But this part is non-negotiable. You must do it.

Speaker:

And in the book, I give several different variations of how to do this, but you

Speaker:

need to integrate this new energy.

Speaker:

Stand up, imagine walking across the room toward you 2.

Speaker:

0, who already has the business success that you want.

Speaker:

And when you physically step into that version of you, notice where you feel the

Speaker:

excitement, certainty, or relief in your body.

Speaker:

And you can draw an imaginary circle around that spot

Speaker:

or a box, whatever works for you.

Speaker:

You can expand it, make it really big, pull it closer, condense it down, whatever

Speaker:

makes it feel the strongest.

Speaker:

Because your brain learns through movement and perspective shifts,

Speaker:

and this seals the change.

Speaker:

The bottom line, you can shift your state of mind in just seven minutes a day.

Speaker:

I've done this in the car at least parts of it, because I can't take my hands off

Speaker:

the steering wheel or shouldn't to draw that circle, right?

Speaker:

And clearly, I'm not getting up and moving.

Speaker:

But I have used one hand to do that and thrown in out the window.

Speaker:

So when you change your inner energy, your outer results shift, not because you

Speaker:

worked harder, because you shifted your state of mind,

Speaker:

your emotions, and your awareness.

Speaker:

And that allows you to see opportunities all around you.

Speaker:

And you naturally draw matching events to you.

Speaker:
