Speaker A

Dream, dream, dream, dream, dream.

Speaker A

That's what we want to do today in Love Notes from Rhonda.

Speaker A

Hey, I'm Rhonda, and I want to talk about dreaming.

Speaker A

You know, some people don't have dreams.

Speaker A

I was one of those people.

Speaker A

I went through a period of my life where I didn't have a dream, I didn't have a purpose, I didn't know where I was going.

Speaker A

Sure, I had a dream about a house or a dream about a car.

Speaker A

You know, things that I would like to have, but I didn't have a dream in which to go for.

Speaker A

And then there was other times in my life where I had a clear dream.

Speaker A

So I don't know if you're somebody who allows yourself to dream or not, or if you are somebody who has dreams or if you get more of a feeling sense about your future.

Speaker A

But today I want to talk about dreams.

Speaker A

Talk about your dreams.

Speaker A

So whether you're somebody who visually sees things or have a feeling sense of things or just goes around the world and goes, ooh, I like things based on your external stimulation.

Speaker A

That's okay.

Speaker A

All of that supports you and I. Dreaming, dreams, dreams, dreaming.

Speaker A

Dreaming is lovely.

Speaker A

It is wonderful to be able to dream about your future, about what's moving through you, what's coming up for you.

Speaker A

But dreaming without action just keeps things dreams and some dreams.

Speaker A

I've had lots of dreams in my life where it was a nice dream, but I didn't really actually want to make it come true.

Speaker A

I didn't want to put the time and effort in.

Speaker A

It wasn't that needed and necessary in my life.

Speaker A

It was a nice dream.

Speaker A

So, you know, I always wanted to play the guitar, and I've taken guitar lessons over the years here and there, but.

Speaker A

But I've never sat down and really put in a half hour of practice every day.

Speaker A

It is a dream that isn't so urging me on that dream is nice.

Speaker A

I like the dream.

Speaker A

It's a beautiful dream, but it's not something I'm actualizing in my life right now.

Speaker A

Maybe I will in two years, maybe I will in five.

Speaker A

And this is the key.

Speaker A

I don't beat myself up for that.

Speaker A

I don't judge myself.

Speaker A

I don't say, oh, it's so bad.

Speaker A

You've always wanted to play the guitar.

Speaker A

God, Rhonda, no.

Speaker A

I'm just like, yeah, it just hasn't been a priority in my life.

Speaker A

I've got other dreams that are my priorities.

Speaker A

So it's not about fulfilling all dreams, every dream, because I also Think that some dreams have to die in order for a new dream to be birthed.

Speaker A

So your dream, let's talk about it.

Speaker A

What is it that you dream of?

Speaker A

Dream of externally things to have, and internally dream of who you can be.

Speaker A

If you could dream, or if you dream, what does that dream look like for you?

Speaker A

What dream would you like to fulfill?

Speaker A

What dream is calling you?

Speaker A

And maybe you don't think you know how to fulfill it, or if you're supposed to fulfill it.

Speaker A

What dream is nudging you?

Speaker A

What dream is nudging you?

Speaker A

What dream is nudging you?

Speaker A

What about this?

Speaker A

What about this?

Speaker A

What about this?

Speaker A

I want to express this.

Speaker A

I want to share this.

Speaker A

I want to be more of this.

Speaker A

What is calling you?

Speaker A

And again, you may not think of it as a dream.

Speaker A

You might think of it as a calling.

Speaker A

You might think of it as a vision.

Speaker A

You might think of it as an intention or goal.

Speaker A

But today, I just want you to allow dreaming to happen.

Speaker A

Don't put everything in the rigid box of expectancy.

Speaker A

And I better do it if I have a dream.

Speaker A

I can't.

Speaker A

If I'm gonna have a dream, I gotta make it happen.

Speaker A

Nah, you don't just dream.

Speaker A

That is a skill in and of itself to just be able to allow yourself to dream.

Speaker A

If it's during the day, right?

Speaker A

You can even call it daydreaming.

Speaker A

And maybe they give you more permission to allow your mind to wander into possibilities.

Speaker A

Allow yourself to think the unexpected.

Speaker A

Allow yourself to look at other people's lives and go, huh?

Speaker A

What part of that life would I'd like to try on, if any?

Speaker A

Just walk around the world and allow yourself to dream.

Speaker A

Doesn't mean you have to do anything yet.

Speaker A

Just allow dreaming to happen through you and for you dream.

Speaker A

Allow the dream to unfold.

Speaker A

Until next time, be fearless.

Speaker A

I love you.
