Unknown:

No and welcome to the Borealis experience. I'm so

Unknown:

happy to be spending some time with you. And I hope I can

Unknown:

create a space where you can. Yeah, rest and relax, recharge

Unknown:

your batteries, reflect. And at times, maybe.

Unknown:

Yeah, change your attitude change your perspective on

Unknown:

situations on life, when it gets a little bit rough or

Unknown:

complicated. Sometimes it's a simple change of perspective

Unknown:

that can help you so much in the moment helps you give the power

Unknown:

you need the patience, you need to keep going. You are not

Unknown:

alone. We are all in this together. And yeah, I hope you

Unknown:

know that. There's always someone out there you can reach

Unknown:

out to

Unknown:

if you wish to reach out to me. Reach out to me on Facebook or

Unknown:

Instagram, Aurora Eggert or Aurora Eggert coaching on

Unknown:

Instagram the Borealis experience,

Unknown:

it would mean the world to me to know where you're coming from?

Unknown:

And yeah, what motivates motivates you or inspires you?

Unknown:

Or what you are struggling with?

Unknown:

Today, I want to talk about your self image. And how much do you

Unknown:

need approval from others in order to be feel content?

Unknown:

Or successful?

Unknown:

When we talk about self image? What do we mean I think self

Unknown:

image is simply put.

Unknown:

When you look into the mirror, the things you feel and see. Are

Unknown:

you proud of yourself? Do you fully accept yourself? Can you

Unknown:

look yourself into the eyes?

Unknown:

Or don't you really give attention

Unknown:

to what you see in the mirror? Or even worse? Do you look at

Unknown:

yourself and just feel desperate? Not good? Maybe even

Unknown:

hateful? Do you reject what you see in the mirror?

Unknown:

It tells me a lot. When I asked you how do you feel when you see

Unknown:

a full body picture when you look at yourself in the mirror

Unknown:

on how you react.

Unknown:

And what I find so incredibly sad is that we live in a society

Unknown:

here in North America, where it's socially acceptable to hate

Unknown:

yourself and to reject your body. And sometimes it's even

Unknown:

the way people bond with each other. I find that so sickening.

Unknown:

That's not good. And with my podcast with my coaching with

Unknown:

everything I do, I'm trying to change this because it's not

Unknown:

going to get us anywhere. As society I feel it is weakening

Unknown:

us.

Unknown:

Sometimes we experienced something in our life that

Unknown:

changed our perspective on ourselves that changed our self

Unknown:

image.

Unknown:

Maybe we were heartbroken. Maybe we were rejected by friends. And

Unknown:

now we think we're not deserving. We're not worthy.

Unknown:

We're not enough.

Unknown:

Sometimes it is our own family, our parents who make us feel as

Unknown:

not enough.

Unknown:

And a deeply influences our quality of life. If your self

Unknown:

image is poor, if you look down on yourself, it is very hard to

Unknown:

be out there shining, to be out there pursuing your purpose and

Unknown:

to be successful because you will feel like

Unknown:

a fake person you will feel inauthentic

Unknown:

So what's most important? When I talk to people in my coaching

Unknown:

sessions, and they talk to me about their dreams, and where

Unknown:

they want to

Unknown:

get to in their lives is to find out how do they look at

Unknown:

themselves? Do they actually like themselves?

Unknown:

Or do they,

Unknown:

I don't know, abused themselves into health and happiness, to

Unknown:

portray a picture to the outside world,

Unknown:

that everything is okay.

Unknown:

But from the inside, nothing is okay.

Unknown:

And when we have that

Unknown:

disbalance, I don't know, if you say that in English imbalance.

Unknown:

It is very exhausting. It is very tiring, and nobody can run

Unknown:

on that imbalance for all too long, you're gonna exhaust

Unknown:

yourself, you're not going to be successful in a sustainable way.

Unknown:

And then when it comes to self image, a lot of the times, it is

Unknown:

very dependent on how you grew up.

Unknown:

What did your parents tell you?

Unknown:

Was you sent messages of love and acceptance, and empowerment?

Unknown:

Believe in yourself. And you could really feel it, it really

Unknown:

felt like, yeah, my people are supporting accepting me fully,

Unknown:

and I can do whatever I want, and I'll be successful.

Unknown:

I have their support?

Unknown:

Or did you receive the message that

Unknown:

you could be different, you could do things differently, and

Unknown:

what you're passionate about is not really worthy to pursue.

Unknown:

We'd rather you pursue something else, you would be way more

Unknown:

successful. If you would study this, if you would do that.

Unknown:

Instead, what you are trying to put energy into and grow

Unknown:

is not really worth it.

Unknown:

Can you change? Can you adapt? Can you be a different person?

Unknown:

Sometimes we get these messages from the people that we need

Unknown:

support the most from the people we long to be accepted the most.

Unknown:

And I get it, it is so crazy difficult to liberate yourself

Unknown:

from that because this is where you first learned

Unknown:

what love is.

Unknown:

And this is people that you look up to this is people that you

Unknown:

want to feel supported from.

Unknown:

But you are on this planet.

Unknown:

To shine your own light, I get it. We are born into a family

Unknown:

and we want a sense of belonging. And that is very

Unknown:

important, very critical. But we also need you to be out there as

Unknown:

an individual.

Unknown:

And sometimes you got to be a little pioneer, you got to be

Unknown:

the person who does something new in their family.

Unknown:

And you will meet resistance, you will meet disapproval,

Unknown:

sometimes even rejection.

Unknown:

Because you're going to stretch other people's belief systems,

Unknown:

you're going to challenge people because you will be doing things

Unknown:

that they themselves would never do.

Unknown:

Or don't have the guts

Unknown:

to do

Unknown:

and that's the hard part. to still keep pushing for your

Unknown:

dreams and to still believe in yourself when other people that

Unknown:

you love and used to look up to

Unknown:

and want the approval from

Unknown:

don't give you the support that you need.

Unknown:

So I'm here to tell you that if you are the person who's

Unknown:

listening and

Unknown:

presently struggling

Unknown:

because you don't feel supported

Unknown:

this

Unknown:

means that you need to talk more about your desires and dreams to

Unknown:

people that can hear you to people who have done what you

Unknown:

want to do in the future, before you

Unknown:

people who are on a similar path.

Unknown:

And those people will be excited to hear about your story, they

Unknown:

will be excited to support you. And you will be able to acquire

Unknown:

the tools and the skills to get closer to your dreams to your

Unknown:

purpose.

Unknown:

And first, you will not receive the support from your parents or

Unknown:

from your siblings or from your friends or whoever it is who's

Unknown:

not supporting supporting you right now, but you desperately

Unknown:

want it.

Unknown:

But there will come a point. And sometimes it's at the very end,

Unknown:

sometimes it's after people pass.

Unknown:

But it shouldn't matter. This is what I'm here to tell you that

Unknown:

sometimes people will realize, oh my god, he actually is a

Unknown:

beautiful artist, he actually is putting his energy into

Unknown:

something I totally Yeah, have difficulties to align with,

Unknown:

identify with, but he's bringing value

Unknown:

to society. And now I get the message.

Unknown:

So sometimes people will net need time

Unknown:

to support you down the road, sometimes they will never really

Unknown:

support you. The important thing is that you free yourself from

Unknown:

needing that approval, that you free yourself from weird

Unknown:

conclusions that you've made down the road about yourself

Unknown:

that you're not worthy that you're not deserving, that you

Unknown:

are not good enough.

Unknown:

And then go ahead,

Unknown:

clear your mind

Unknown:

and pursue your dream. And along the way, meet the people that

Unknown:

are in direct alignment with your dream. Because if you're

Unknown:

excited, if you're passionate about something, if you express

Unknown:

your desires, to somebody who can relate to it,

Unknown:

they will open doors, they will help you, they will see that you

Unknown:

have something to share. And you need to find an outlet you need

Unknown:

to channel that energy out so that everybody can see it and

Unknown:

benefit from it.

Unknown:

If you do not pursue your dreams, if you do not get into

Unknown:

alignment with your purpose, because you want the approval of

Unknown:

people,

Unknown:

you will end up and suffering because you are meant to shine

Unknown:

your light.

Unknown:

And you are meant to pursue your purpose to benefit humanity.

Unknown:

And if you shy away, if you feel that belonging is more important

Unknown:

than living your authentic life.

Unknown:

I've learned that

Unknown:

I hate to use the word but you will get punished for it. You

Unknown:

will get punished with

Unknown:

feeling not enough feeling inauthentic. And sometimes when

Unknown:

we feel these feelings for too long, we become depressed

Unknown:

taking a deep breath here because this

Unknown:

episode is like such a sweet spot when it comes to my work

Unknown:

when it comes to my passion.

Unknown:

And I've suffered for so long.

Unknown:

And I'm really hoping that I can give you the tools for a little

Unknown:

shortcut. You know, I get it. Every person has to go through

Unknown:

their pain and suffering and grow at their own pace. But

Unknown:

there is something inside of me that really truly hopes that if

Unknown:

you hear that message

Unknown:

that you can suffer a little less long than I did.

Unknown:

It took me a day

Unknown:

Qaid if not more, and if it just takes you one year or two, to be

Unknown:

ready to receive this message, then I feel good about it

Unknown:

already. If it doesn't take you 12 years.

Unknown:

I hope this all makes sense to you. I hope

Unknown:

I can connect with you down the road and you can share your

Unknown:

story with me. And this is an episode that was requested.

Unknown:

And I hope I was able to Yeah, deliver, never hesitate to

Unknown:

request an episode from me and I'll do my best to serve you.

Unknown:

And if you feel like you need a little bit more specific

Unknown:

inspiration, empowerment, then book a coaching call with me.

Unknown:

The first 60 minutes are for free. And my clients

Unknown:

like can confirm that after two sessions at times, they were

Unknown:

able to make significant changes in their lives that will help

Unknown:

them

Unknown:

for the rest of their lives. I'm not wanting to wanting to make

Unknown:

you dependent on me. I'm one to truly empower you and liberate

Unknown:

you.

Unknown:

So yeah,

Unknown:

this was it for today. I'm very excited to publish this one and

Unknown:

I will be out there very soon again. take really good care of

Unknown:

yourself.
