effective for increasing your erection? I'm Dr Anne Truong.

Well now it's kind of getting warmer. You're outside, you're

enjoying the weather, and you want to carry some snacks with

Speaker:

you, or you just love to eat snack. I like to snack out too.

Speaker:

But ever wonder which one is really effective to help with

Speaker:

that erection? Well, several snack options have evidence

Speaker:

based benefits for supporting erection function, primarily

Speaker:

increasing blood flow by increasing nitric oxide

Speaker:

production. And therefore, if you have nitric oxide

Speaker:

production, you're promoting cardiovascular health or good

Speaker:

heart health. Now, while no single snack guarantee an

Speaker:

immediate effect, but incorporating a certain food in

Speaker:

your diet can really support better erection over time. Now,

Speaker:

the diet that I recommend is the Mediterranean diet, and you can

Speaker:

diet. Mediterranean diet focuses on lean meat, such as fish and

Speaker:

chicken, vegetables, all vegetables, as well as fruit, no

Speaker:

processed food. Don't eat anything in a box or in a

Speaker:

plastic. That's it, simple. Do not have to make it hard. But I

Speaker:

attach here a PDF guide for you to reference. But if you just

think about eating what the earth give you is probably your

Speaker:

right on there.

Speaker:

So let's discuss about some snacks that you can kind of

Speaker:

carry along, that you can eat that will boost that erection.

Speaker:

Number one is nuts. Pistachios have been shown in a small study

Speaker:

to improve erection, libido and satisfaction after three weeks

Speaker:

of daily consumption, about 100 grams a day. 100 grams about a

Speaker:

handful. Walnut and almond are rich and arginine and amino acid

Speaker:

that help produce nitric oxide, which then relaxes the blood

Speaker:

vessels and improve blood flow to the penis. These nuts contain

Speaker:

healthy fat and antioxidant to support improved blood flow.

Speaker:

The next one is dark chocolate. My favorite. I am a chocoholic.

Speaker:

I can eat anything chocolate. Dark chocolate means that you

Speaker:

need to have at least 70% cocoa. And cocoa is rich in flavonoid

Speaker:

which improve blood vessel opening to improve better blood

Speaker:

flow. Flavonoids also help the body produce more nitric oxide,

Speaker:

and we know that nitric oxide will improve erection.

Speaker:

Number three, another one of my favorite too, watermelon.

Speaker:

Watermelon contains citrulline, which it then converted to

Speaker:

arginine, which is then converted to nitric oxide, which

Speaker:

nitric oxide helps improve blood vessel relaxation and therefore

Speaker:

improve blood flow. And I suggest that you eat the

Speaker:

watermelon, but also take nitric oxide supplement as well,

Speaker:

because watermelon and dark chocolate while giving you

Speaker:

L-arginine and L-citrulline, you need the enzyme nitric oxide

Speaker:

synthase in order for you to make nitric oxide. However, that

Speaker:

enzyme nitric oxide synthase, becomes ineffective after the

Speaker:

age of 50. 50% of people over the age of 50 have inadequate

Speaker:

enzyme to convert it. So even if you take this and your enzyme is

Speaker:

not working, you're not going to be able to convert it to nitric

Speaker:

oxide. So that's why I suggest that you take it with nitric

Speaker:

oxide supplement, which is the one I recommend here. Check out

The next group, berries. Another one of my favorites,

blueberries, strawberries, citrus. Berries are high in

Speaker:

flavonoid which are associated with antioxidant and improving

Speaker:

blood flow. And regular intake of flavonoid rich fruits like

Speaker:

berry, blueberry, and citrus are linked to 9% to 14% reduction in

Speaker:

ED risk.

Speaker:

The next one, another one of my favorites as well. I love the

Speaker:

smell of coffee. I drink cup of coffee every day, sometimes a

Speaker:

second one during the day. Now, coffee relaxes smooth muscle in

Speaker:

the penis, promoting increased blood flow and reducing the risk

Speaker:

of ED in men who consume two to three cup daily. So what it

Speaker:

means is that if you drink two to three cups of coffee a day,

Speaker:

you can actually improve your ED function. So that's a

Speaker:

reassurance. So you probably shouldn't drink more than three

Speaker:

cups of coffee a day. Now, when I say cup of coffee, mean eight

Speaker:

ounces of coffee, not 20 ounces of coffee.

Speaker:

Okay, so in review, pistachios, good, walnuts, almonds are

Speaker:

great. Dark chocolates, especially 70% coco and

Speaker:

watermelon are good as well. Berries and citrus are very good

Speaker:

as well as coffee. And we'll just say you can combine some of

Speaker:

this together, all of it together, maybe not the coffee,

Speaker:

you can combine together into a smoothie, and you will find our

suggestion, a handful of pistachio like a handful like

and drink a cup of black coffee in the morning. So a good way to
