And I am so excited because there are just a few more days of this year and soon it'll be a new beginning.

Speaker A

Soon it'll be a restart.

Speaker A

Do you know, research has shown, neuroscience has shown that when you start on a particular day that you deem is the day that is that day could be your birthday, that day could be January 1st, that day could be your anniversary, that day could be Monday.

Speaker A

Any day that you deem when you pick a day to begin, there is an energetic field that happens that lifts you up and gives you more ability to be successful.

Speaker A

So all of that energy, just like we talked about energy during the holiday season, there is Energy on January 1st.

Speaker A

Everybody's hope, everybody's hopes, everybody's crossing their fingers like, come on, I wanna change this.

Speaker A

Yay.

Speaker A

I'll never do it again.

Speaker A

I'm gonna be different this time.

Speaker A

All of that hope, all of that dreaming, all of that believing is in the energy field right now.

Speaker A

And if you claim for yourself something on January 1st, I want you to think about it now what would you want to shift?

Speaker A

I don't want you to think like everything's gonna be different.

Speaker A

No, don't say that.

Speaker A

That's just setting yourself up to fail.

Speaker A

What I want you to do is come up with one thing, maybe two, but for sure, one thing that you want to focus on now we're going to talk about intention when we get to the new year.

Speaker A

Right now I want you to just focus on what is it that you know that you need to change.

Speaker A

And if you're not being kind to yourself, that may be the very first place to start being kind to yourself.

Speaker A

Seeing your own innocence, giving yourself compassion, getting off your own back.

Speaker A

That in and of itself is going to change your life.

Speaker A

Remember, it's our first daily practice.

Speaker A

Compassion, compassion, compassion.

Speaker A

And so how do you do that?

Speaker A

Acknowledgments Acknowledgments Acknowledgements, acknowledgements.

Speaker A

Acknowledgements.

Speaker A

Giving yourself credit for every stretchers can die you take.

Speaker A

So we only have a few more days left of this year.

Speaker A

So what do you want to prepare for for January 1st?

Speaker A

So if I'm gonna do health in the new year, which by the way, I am, then right about now I'm getting all my vitamins in order, I'm watching some YouTube videos, perhaps with some health tips that I'm doing, and I'm basically creating a list of food to eat, food not to eat.

Speaker A

Don't know if that's your thing, but that's something I do Because I have allergies.

Speaker A

So I start paying more attention to my allergies.

Speaker A

I get my vitamins in order, I get my herbs in order, I put them all in packages, et cetera, et cetera.

Speaker A

I got a new set of sheets.

Speaker A

As a matter of fact, they got delivered this week.

Speaker A

So I'm going to be putting my new sheets on January 1st to help me sleep even better.

Speaker A

So I want you to be thinking about what you want next year to look like.

Speaker A

And think about it this way.

Speaker A

A year from today, what do you want to be able to say to yourself?

Speaker A

Do you want to be able to say I have double, triple, quadruple the compassion I had for myself?

Speaker A

Do you want to say I have better and better health?

Speaker A

I am healthier than ever.

Speaker A

I've taken exquisite care of my body this year?

Speaker A

What do you want to say?

Speaker A

Do you want to say your heart is open to love?

Speaker A

Do you want to say that the most important thing to you is to connect with others and ask for help?

Speaker A

So think about what keeps getting in your way, what keeps tripping you up, what do you maybe you've refused to do until now that you just like, go, ah, who cares?

Speaker A

Ah, nobody.

Speaker A

It doesn't matter.

Speaker A

Ah, you know all that stuff, you know that lovely wheel of fear tells you, right?

Speaker A

So I want you to be very attentive today to those things, and I want you to be honest with yourself so that we can pave the way for a new year and allow ourselves to build on the energy that's created naturally, that we don't even have to build the energy.

Speaker A

The energy is created naturally.

Speaker A

And neuroscience says that when we start on a particular date, timing is so critical for success that if we decide to start on January 1, if you decide to start on January 1, and again, it doesn't have to be January 1, you can pick January 3 or February 8, whatever day serves you.

Speaker A

But I want you to be thinking about, okay, what is it?

Speaker A

That one thing, if I did this one thing, if I practiced this one thing, everything would change?

Speaker A

Ah, yes, that's the thing.

Speaker A

That's the thing I want.

Speaker A

That's the thing I want.

Speaker A

And like I said earlier, if you're not compassionate with yourself, if you get on your back all the time, if you beat yourself up, if you tell yourself horrible things, you might want to start there.

Speaker A
