Melissa Deally:

Welcome back to another episode of health hacks. I am Melissa Deally, and today I want to ask you, how do you start your day? The way you start your day sets the tone for everything that follows before the world rushes in with emails, pings to do lists and demands just take three minutes to tune into you. This isn't about a massive morning routine. It's about a micro shift that creates macro impact. Let's break it down. Minute one. Focus on gratitude. Close your eyes, place your hand on your heart and name three things that you're grateful for, big or small. And this rewires your brain to look for what's working in your life instead of what's missing. And as you do this and build it as a habit, you start to notice more things to be grateful for, and that brings you more joy in your life. It's powerful. Minute two breath work. Try the simple 557, breath that I've taught many times before, inhale for five, hold for five and exhale for seven. And do this 10 times. That's it. It's quick, it's easy, and what it's doing is activating your parasympathetic nervous system, your calming healing state, and getting you out of your fight or flight mode. And notice how it brings you calm as you start your day and minute three go with an affirmation, say something empowering out loud, even if it feels awkward at first, things like I'm grounded, capable and calm. I handle challenges with grace. I am worthy of health, joy and ease, or every day in every way I am getting better and better, you want to choose your words wisely, because your unconscious mind is always listening this three minute minute tune up isn't just A feel good moment, it's actually mental training. It reminds your mind who's in charge, and sets your energy before the world can start stealing it from you. So how will you begin your day tomorrow with stress and scrolling or with presence and power. Your mindset is your foundation. Build it strong if you'd like to learn more, we dive much deeper into this in our amplify your mind. Two day masterclass.
