Yesterday we looked at integrating conflict, and today we're going to take it a little bit deeper with some hypnotic visualization to fully step into the version of you who's free from that old pattern and problem.

Let's get started in today's Choosing Happy Podcast.

Speaker A

Hello and welcome to Today's Choosing Happy Podcast.

Speaker A

As I say, we're on day six, and this is where we get really serious about breaking that pattern.

Speaker A

We spent the whole week loosening it up, reviewing our beliefs around it, resolving any internal conflicts.

Speaker A

And today we're going to move on to visualizing ourselves without the pattern so that we brace it at an unconscious level that the change has happened.

Speaker A

But before we even get to that, I just want you to check in whether you have actually made that decision.

Speaker A

Where are you now with that decision to let this go and to move into a new version of you where that pattern no longer has a place in your life, and just check in with that.

Speaker A

Are you absolutely determined that you've decided that this has to change today?

Speaker A

And then if you're ready and if you're in a safe place, just find a space and make yourself comfortable, because we're going to go into a short little hypnosis technique.

Speaker A

So I'd like you to find a space where you're comfortable and safe.

Speaker A

Obviously not driving, using any machine, machinery or anything like that.

Speaker A

And I'd like you just to close your eyes and take three deep breaths.

Speaker A

And as you do, let your body relax with each exhale.

Speaker A

Just feel yourself relaxing from the top of your head all the way down, like a wave of relaxation to your toes.

Speaker A

And again, just feel that relaxation getting deeper and deeper.

Speaker A

And one last inhale and exhale.

Speaker A

Just feel yourself relax and feel yourself releasing anything from the past, anything from the future.

Speaker A

So you're present in this now moment.

Speaker A

It's like you're cutting off all of the the cords to the past.

Speaker A

You're shutting a door, and you're shutting a door to the future.

Speaker A

So you're in this comfortable, beautiful cocoon of white light and healing, and you're very, very present and you're peaceful and relaxed.

Speaker A

And while your eyes are closed, we're just going to count backwards from 10 to 1.

Speaker A

And as we count, we're going to step down a whole flight of stairs that leads to A beautiful beach.

Speaker A

You can take your first step.

Speaker A

And you're just going to watch your feet as you step onto the first step.

Speaker A

10.

Speaker A

Then 9, 8, 7.

Speaker A

When you're going deeper and feeling more relaxed.

Speaker A

6, 5, 4.

Speaker A

Feel yourself completely relaxed.

Speaker A

3, 2, 1.

Speaker A

And you feel your bare feet in the sand.

Speaker A

You feel the sand between your toes and you feel really safe.

Speaker A

The beach is empty.

Speaker A

It's your private beach, so favorite place that you can come to.

Speaker A

And you stroll out onto the beach and you walk towards the shoreline.

Speaker A

You see the waves coming in.

Speaker A

You pick up a stick and you write three in the sand.

Speaker A

The waves come in and wash it away.

Speaker A

You write two in the sand and again the waves come in and wash it away.

Speaker A

You can hear the waves.

Speaker A

You can hear the seagulls.

Speaker A

And you pick up the stick again and you write one in the sand.

Speaker A

And watch as the waves wash it away.

Speaker A

And you're standing at the edge of the shore.

Speaker A

This is the new you.

Speaker A

It's like you're watching from above and you can see the new version of you.

Speaker A

You've not had that problem for ages.

Speaker A

In fact, you can't even remember what that problem was.

Speaker A

Your confidence, life is going well.

Speaker A

Remember making that decision?

Speaker A

That decision stuck.

Speaker A

You moved forward.

Speaker A

Everything began to unfold.

Speaker A

Everything is unfolding.

Speaker A

Everything fell into place.

Speaker A

You aligned with who you truly are.

Speaker A

You let go of all restrictions that you felt were holding you back.

Speaker A

You allowed yourself the freedom to move forward in your life.

Speaker A

Come down into that body.

Speaker A

And as you stare out at the horizon, watch the movie play in your mind of the life of the new you, of your dreams unfolding, of how you are, how you feel, Feel confidence in your body, Feel strength and how.

Speaker A

How your body feels as this new you.

Speaker A

Breathe like you'd breathe, hold your shoulders like you'd hold them.

Speaker A

Feel the energy, that alignment and that relief, that joy, that gratitude.

Speaker A

You're thriving.

Speaker A

Everything is working out for you.

Speaker A

Notice how you stand, how you feel.

Speaker A

Notice what you're doing differently.

Speaker A

Notice what you're doing differently at work.

Speaker A

You have a movie.

Speaker A

And just notice whether you're saying no to projects or accepting new challenges, whatever it is for you.

Speaker A

Notice what's different and how this new you is showing up in the world.

Speaker A

Let the image become really vivid.

Speaker A

Feel your strength.

Speaker A

Feel that new version of you when you're standing there.

Speaker A

Feel like joy and say your new belief, whatever that new belief is that we've listened to this week, that we've carved out this week, what was the new belief that you chose?

Speaker A

This feeling seep deep into your subconscious.

Speaker A

We're going to set an anchor.

Speaker A

We're going to press our finger and our thumb together as we really step into feeling how powerful we feel that thriving, feeling that joy.

Speaker A

Press your finger and thumb together to set that anchor.

Speaker A

And as that feeling dies away a little and just release it, I want you to step in again and really feel the emotions, feel the joy, feel the thriving.

Speaker A

And press your finger and thumb together and really feel that.

Speaker A

Feel the abundance, feel the power of the decision you've made.

Speaker A

And when that feeling dies off, just let it release and once more take a deep breath and stand on that shoreline in that new version of you and feel everything they're feeling.

Speaker A

The joy, the thriving, the strength.

Speaker A

And press your finger and thumb together, then release.

Speaker A

Just allow yourself a moment and take any learnings that may be coming up, any thoughts about how you're doing things differently, what the world looks like now.

Speaker A

Then we can take a deep breath and just when you're ready, wriggle your toes and allow yourself to slowly come back into the room.

Speaker A

Open your eyes.

Speaker A

Notice where you are feeling wide awake.

Speaker A

Now rub your hands together to get some energy going.

Speaker A

Come back into the room.

Speaker A

Wow.

Speaker A

I hope we've just planted some powerful seeds in your mind.

Speaker A

I hope you had a really good, clear vision.

Speaker A

And tomorrow we'll turn this into action and you can practice this visualization today, a couple of times a day.

Just think of yourself back on that beach, stepping into the powerful you, the new you.

Speaker A
