Speaker AYesterday we looked at integrating conflict, and today we're going to take it a little bit deeper with some hypnotic visualization to fully step into the version of you who's free from that old pattern and problem.
Speaker ALet's get started in today's Choosing Happy Podcast.
Speaker AHello and welcome to Today's Choosing Happy Podcast.
Speaker AAs I say, we're on day six, and this is where we get really serious about breaking that pattern.
Speaker AWe spent the whole week loosening it up, reviewing our beliefs around it, resolving any internal conflicts.
Speaker AAnd today we're going to move on to visualizing ourselves without the pattern so that we brace it at an unconscious level that the change has happened.
Speaker ABut before we even get to that, I just want you to check in whether you have actually made that decision.
Speaker AWhere are you now with that decision to let this go and to move into a new version of you where that pattern no longer has a place in your life, and just check in with that.
Speaker AAre you absolutely determined that you've decided that this has to change today?
Speaker AAnd then if you're ready and if you're in a safe place, just find a space and make yourself comfortable, because we're going to go into a short little hypnosis technique.
Speaker ASo I'd like you to find a space where you're comfortable and safe.
Speaker AObviously not driving, using any machine, machinery or anything like that.
Speaker AAnd I'd like you just to close your eyes and take three deep breaths.
Speaker AAnd as you do, let your body relax with each exhale.
Speaker AJust feel yourself relaxing from the top of your head all the way down, like a wave of relaxation to your toes.
Speaker AAnd again, just feel that relaxation getting deeper and deeper.
Speaker AAnd one last inhale and exhale.
Speaker AJust feel yourself relax and feel yourself releasing anything from the past, anything from the future.
Speaker ASo you're present in this now moment.
Speaker AIt's like you're cutting off all of the the cords to the past.
Speaker AYou're shutting a door, and you're shutting a door to the future.
Speaker ASo you're in this comfortable, beautiful cocoon of white light and healing, and you're very, very present and you're peaceful and relaxed.
Speaker AAnd while your eyes are closed, we're just going to count backwards from 10 to 1.
Speaker AAnd as we count, we're going to step down a whole flight of stairs that leads to A beautiful beach.
Speaker AYou can take your first step.
Speaker AAnd you're just going to watch your feet as you step onto the first step.
Speaker A10.
Speaker AThen 9, 8, 7.
Speaker AWhen you're going deeper and feeling more relaxed.
Speaker A6, 5, 4.
Speaker AFeel yourself completely relaxed.
Speaker A3, 2, 1.
Speaker AAnd you feel your bare feet in the sand.
Speaker AYou feel the sand between your toes and you feel really safe.
Speaker AThe beach is empty.
Speaker AIt's your private beach, so favorite place that you can come to.
Speaker AAnd you stroll out onto the beach and you walk towards the shoreline.
Speaker AYou see the waves coming in.
Speaker AYou pick up a stick and you write three in the sand.
Speaker AThe waves come in and wash it away.
Speaker AYou write two in the sand and again the waves come in and wash it away.
Speaker AYou can hear the waves.
Speaker AYou can hear the seagulls.
Speaker AAnd you pick up the stick again and you write one in the sand.
Speaker AAnd watch as the waves wash it away.
Speaker AAnd you're standing at the edge of the shore.
Speaker AThis is the new you.
Speaker AIt's like you're watching from above and you can see the new version of you.
Speaker AYou've not had that problem for ages.
Speaker AIn fact, you can't even remember what that problem was.
Speaker AYour confidence, life is going well.
Speaker ARemember making that decision?
Speaker AThat decision stuck.
Speaker AYou moved forward.
Speaker AEverything began to unfold.
Speaker AEverything is unfolding.
Speaker AEverything fell into place.
Speaker AYou aligned with who you truly are.
Speaker AYou let go of all restrictions that you felt were holding you back.
Speaker AYou allowed yourself the freedom to move forward in your life.
Speaker ACome down into that body.
Speaker AAnd as you stare out at the horizon, watch the movie play in your mind of the life of the new you, of your dreams unfolding, of how you are, how you feel, Feel confidence in your body, Feel strength and how.
Speaker AHow your body feels as this new you.
Speaker ABreathe like you'd breathe, hold your shoulders like you'd hold them.
Speaker AFeel the energy, that alignment and that relief, that joy, that gratitude.
Speaker AYou're thriving.
Speaker AEverything is working out for you.
Speaker ANotice how you stand, how you feel.
Speaker ANotice what you're doing differently.
Speaker ANotice what you're doing differently at work.
Speaker AYou have a movie.
Speaker AAnd just notice whether you're saying no to projects or accepting new challenges, whatever it is for you.
Speaker ANotice what's different and how this new you is showing up in the world.
Speaker ALet the image become really vivid.
Speaker AFeel your strength.
Speaker AFeel that new version of you when you're standing there.
Speaker AFeel like joy and say your new belief, whatever that new belief is that we've listened to this week, that we've carved out this week, what was the new belief that you chose?
Speaker AThis feeling seep deep into your subconscious.
Speaker AWe're going to set an anchor.
Speaker AWe're going to press our finger and our thumb together as we really step into feeling how powerful we feel that thriving, feeling that joy.
Speaker APress your finger and thumb together to set that anchor.
Speaker AAnd as that feeling dies away a little and just release it, I want you to step in again and really feel the emotions, feel the joy, feel the thriving.
Speaker AAnd press your finger and thumb together and really feel that.
Speaker AFeel the abundance, feel the power of the decision you've made.
Speaker AAnd when that feeling dies off, just let it release and once more take a deep breath and stand on that shoreline in that new version of you and feel everything they're feeling.
Speaker AThe joy, the thriving, the strength.
Speaker AAnd press your finger and thumb together, then release.
Speaker AJust allow yourself a moment and take any learnings that may be coming up, any thoughts about how you're doing things differently, what the world looks like now.
Speaker AThen we can take a deep breath and just when you're ready, wriggle your toes and allow yourself to slowly come back into the room.
Speaker AOpen your eyes.
Speaker ANotice where you are feeling wide awake.
Speaker ANow rub your hands together to get some energy going.
Speaker ACome back into the room.
Speaker AWow.
Speaker AI hope we've just planted some powerful seeds in your mind.
Speaker AI hope you had a really good, clear vision.
Speaker AAnd tomorrow we'll turn this into action and you can practice this visualization today, a couple of times a day.
Speaker AJust think of yourself back on that beach, stepping into the powerful you, the new you.
